Great! What a great setup!
All good
I’ve stayed here alone many times and have always been impressed by this place. One day, I made a mistake—I left my phone in the bathroom, and it went missing. Despite it being entirely my own fault, the hotel staff went above and beyond to help. They searched, investigated, and coordinated everything with great care and professionalism, even while I was under a lot of emotional stress. Everyone took responsibility and supported me in a way that deeply moved me. This place truly is wonderful—because of the amazing people who make it so.
Good room good price friendly staff at lobby location is center near Mrt and i got the room upper floor is good view my room have bath tab also wi-fi is fast
I have been there befor but the hotel weint down a little. Roms a very used.Breakfast is for travelgroups ,so very cheap
This is a Chinese tour hotel, full of rude people and bus loads of arrivals choking up elevators. The food options were absolutely terrible. Lucky for grab. The front counter staff member told me I had to pay 1000 deposit for room key, which is questioned. Suddenly the supervisor shouted at me across another customer, and made my check in extremely uncomfortable in front of my wife. The WORST service I have ever encountered in any hotel around the world. A truely horrible woman, I felt so sorry for the staff who have to work with such a disgusting behaviour. She really should be sacked. There are much better hotels for the price. Unless you are part or a Chinese tour I’d avoid this place and never go back.
Great stay!!! Will definitely return.

Clean and comfortable, food options and shopping
Convenient Location near train station. Parking available. Great breakfast buffet. Breakfast staff pleasant and professional. Property in need of a good spruce up. Front Office staff not very professional not very pleasant. Wifi the poorest I have experienced. I do not recommend! Plenty of better choices in BKK.
Could not fault one thing with this property excellent courteous staff all over the building
The Bazaar Hotel is a strangely set up establishment about 300 meters from Lat Phrao MRT blue line (Exit 1) & the adjoining Lat Phrao MRT yellow line interchange (over the road using the air bridge). Certainly a conveniently located 3 Star hotel. NOT anything close to a 4 Star & certainly nothing like the advertised 5 Star establishment. The main hotel is twinned with its far lower priced Capital 0 75451 Podstel (backpacker hostel on the 3rd floor of a linked & adjacent long narrow building.) Forget those 3rd floor backpacker bunk-bedded double roomed-pods, though adequate for backpackers or travellers on a very tight budget. Much more relevant is this main Bazaar Hotel is also twinned with the strangely named Capital 0 75451 Podstel’s higher floored (11-16) private twin & double Podstel rooms in this same adjacent building. The twinned Podstel hotel rooms, which although smaller & a little more rudimentary than the main hotel block rooms? Well, they are essentially the very same rooms, almost identical rooms with the same carpets, design, beds, linen, layout etc! Oh & a different reception desk about 150 meters further down the same ground level floor. Just half to a quarter the price! Be aware of this great little cash saving option. Choose the Podstel Private Rooms in the adjacent long narrow building between the 11th & 16th floors. So NOT in the main Bazaar Hotel. Good for long stays too. But back to the main Bazaar Hotel where I initially stayed on the 18th Floor in a Deluxe Room then got moved (due to high occupancy) to the lower floors of 15th, 12th, 9th & eventually 6th floor to spare myself the eternal wait for the never to arrive lifts. Anyway, bear in mind that all the rooms, be they superior or deluxe were essentially much the same. Each room perfectly adequate for a very comfortable night’s sleep with decent showers, an okay bath, loos that flush, adequate sized rooms, decent enough bed linen & towels with reasonable beds & pillows. The AC is also pretty good. Though no AC ever on in the corridors. The biggest positive is the hotel’s jointly owned & separately managed BKK-Sky-Gym on the 4th floor. This commercial gym & pool access which is afforded to guests in the main hotel free of charge is open to members with USA made Matrix resistance equipment & Matrix branded cardio & some random branded strength equipment that affords anyone a decent strength workout, especially for an hotel guest gym. Careful when using the swimming pool! The entire tiled area (fake wood & actually slippery ceramic tiles) are deadly ice-rink-like to try to walk on. I saw two guests slip when using the pool & I nearly went for six on one occasion too. Ridiculously negligent design & a broken back or neck just waiting to happen. Would never be permitted in any Western country ref OH&S. Numerous warning signs as to the slippery tiles when wet do not prevent guests slipping after all it is a swimming pool! That’s where the good news & good news with a warning as to slipping stops. Pretty much everything else is well below par, failing, less than enjoyable & certainly not particularly guest-centric. The two guest lifts are beyond slow, often packed to the hilt when they do finally arrive on your floor & a building this size, with some 21 floors really ought to have at least 4 lifts operating! The fact that one of the two lifts was unserviceable for the second leg of my stay didn’t improve the getting to & from your room’s floor problem! The internet is absolutely horrendous. The worst I have had any hotel in Thailand. Never stays connected for more than 10-20 minutes at a time. The WiFi disconnects randomly for no apparent reason & takes at least half a dozen attempts to reconnect every time. The hotel finally admitted the routers are set to disconnect every hour, fair enough if they have to take such a mealie mouthed approach to the slow data use but a joke in 2025’s essential online world of business! Furthermore, nobody in the hotel could explain why the WiFi disconnects every 10 -15-20 minutes! The IT department at the hotel couldn’t help at all, they even suggest guests use their own WiFi access when staying & the Bazaar Hotel as the establishment has long-term WiFi access issues. Just surreal the hotel management know about this longterm issue & even in essential WiFi connected world of 2025 still cannot be bothered to address the hotel’s inept WiFi setup. Have the audacity to advise guests to go out & buy their own SIM card to hotspot from when staying in this 3 star hotel. Sums up the service levels which are very much aimed at providing pit-stops to the en-mass large group package Chinese tourist market. Fair enough if this is their sector, AOK but advertise it as such & guests like myself will book & stay elsewhere. The TV channels are distorted & pixelate so seldom tried to connect to the odd English Channel. The noise pollution from the adjacent freeway & flyover is a constant droning, whizzing, clattering, whirring, honking & cacophony of loud noise as if being run over by a series of motorcycles, trucks, Tuk-tuks & busses, all night long, all day long. The lower the floor, the worse the noise. Taking a shower or a bath? Don’t expect hot water, it get to luke warm at best & that is after running a few litres of wasted water. Fortunately I like cold showers, so no problem. But shaving with cold water was a bit of a camping experience. Frustrating to return to one’s room to discover that the maid has again removed the room key card left in the power slot & returned it to reception. Why? Well because management don’t want guests leaving the AC on when out the room, also don’t want guests leaving i-pads, tablets, phones, laptops charging, or I assume? Never got a proper explanation as to why the chambermaids do this? But obviously following management directives to make sure guest rooms have no power if the guest is out. Didn’t seem to matter that the guest rooms were sweltering, stale aired & IT devices flat upon the guest’s return. Being charged for holding your suitcase securely after check out is a new one to me too. Also being turfed out the gym / pool area after checkout on the day of departure is another new one to me. How can that be a policy in any hotel? Never happened to me at any hotel anywhere in the world, especially not in lovely welcoming Thailand. Even 3 star joints permit guests to while away time at the pool or in the hotel gym having checked out & waiting a late airport run to fly out. I could write a lot more but you get the picture. If one manages to secure a room for circa US$27.50 to $37.50 then fair enough, no complaints, good value for the money based on room only board. If paying their often levied rack rates of US$50 to US$95 per night room only? Well sorry to say that is terrible value for money & not recommended at all! I feel empathy for the few good staff trying their best, smiling broadly while working earnestly at this high pressure, high occupancy Chinese mass-tourist-bus targeted hotel, with an extra serving of any tour bus passing through. Afraid that there are definitely better, calmer Bangkok hotels available if seeking a relaxed, smiling, serene, quieter, more comfortable stay in the capital of the land of a thousand smiles. I’d rename this hotel The “Bazar” Hotel, quite literally most bazar & so easily fixable if ownership & senior management chose to.
great service and good hospitality
The rooms are great and clean. The beds are comfortable and staff-friendly. Close to the train line for convenience. The BIG disappointment for me was I booked the hotel from Dec 24th till Jan 5th. Due to a family situation, I had to return home on Dec 27th. My travel agent sent two email requests for a refund of the extra 9 days accommodation I had paid for. The requests were 6 weeks before the booking dates. Both emails were replied to with a straight out NO! There is nothing on their web page saying NO REFUNDS! This has really left a sour taste in my mouth. So if you are not sure of your dates do not book this hotel
Hotel room itself, don't even have table or any countertop. The only place you have power outlet is at the kettle cabinet, inconvenient if you have laptop and gadgets to charge. Bathroom sink, very odd design and no place to keep toiletries stuff, small size bathroom but comes with bathtub and shower. Bed is ok and comfortable. WiFi not stable. Carpet needs a good cleaning. Big hotel but only have 2 small lifts, need to be patience to wait. Crowded with tour groups daily. Less than 10 minutes walking distance to MRT but need to use the overhead bridges to cross over. Staff service is prompt.
There was one gent at reception who spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful. Door concierge were also helpful. Breakfast excellent value for money yet bit of a walk from hotel. Convenient location next to Mall & subway.
Tv was absolutely horrible. No reception, no cable channels. Internet shut off and on constantly
Most of the guests are Chinese.Everything there is written in Chinese. It did not feel like I sas in Thailand, it felt like I was visting China. That said, the room was nice though a bit dated. They demanded a 1000 BHT cash deposit even though I booked it will a credit card. The had me wait while they checked the room before the returnes the cash to me at checkout… I found that part off putting. The lobby chandeliers wew beutiful.
Downside was no wifi which may have been out of the hotels control.also many Chinese tourist busses so it got kinda busy at the service counter. Upside, clean room, food options and 7/11 downstairs, shopping like a weekend market, English service,
Everything
The hotel itself is in a good location with convenient transport links. The main issue we had in the hotel was the coachloads (20+) of tourists which made it very difficult to use the lifts and move around the hotel. We had some issues with the WiFI and AC however the Manager went out of her way to ensure the issues were resolved, thank you so much!
What I like about the hotel:- 1. The room was clean and has the amnesties that I need. 2. Close to the Lat Phrao MRT. What I din like 1. The WiFi is useless, and keep disconnecting 2. The breakfast area is another building. The food range is limited and a let down. 3. Every morning the breakfast area is chaotic and filled with group tourists and we need to compete for the seating. If you are alone, be prepared to lose your seat when you stand up to refill your coffee. 4. The check in service personnel is rude and shows her temper, maybe from work stress but it is rare to see such reception from a Thai. 5. The shops in the mall sells mainly low priced items.
Nice and clean. Seems to be reviving with more shops and food.
The breakfast buffet in the morning is very good. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms too. I recommend everyone to stay in the hotel
FYI: I would like to share my experience at the Bazaar Hotel Bangkok. The hotel itself was a bit old, it needs to be refurbished, Wifi was so poor and was not able to connect it from the room, it's not worth it with the price that we paid, but the staff were friendly and helpful. In general; we were not happy with our stay. ☹️
WiFi connection error and not able to connect. Bath room sewage smell and found a piece of used toothbrush in the bathroom This hotel is not convenient for bagpacker. No access to food. But next to mrt station. Not recommended if you expect to have local food on the street when you out from the hotel lobby.
We stayed in a room with queen bed and bathtub for 3 nights Good - spacious and clean room and bathroom - good water heating - international power outlets so you can leave your bulky power adapter aside Surroundings - from the lobby, straight walk through the driveway to Lat Phrao MRT station which is connected to the blue and yellow lines - walking past Lat Phrao station, there are a few 7-11s in the neighbourhood, however not much else to do Concerns - the interior corridors were very warm, and the room took quite a while to cool down as well. Thereafter the air-conditioning became a bit too cold at night, however turning it down would make the room stuffy - the shops at the ground floor were all shuttered, and there is a 7-11 vending machine with a few items, but no 7-11 convenience store as advertised - limited early breakfast options in the hotel/surroundings other than the buffet
water leaks on my bed. cockroaches in the room. sink leaking. toilet seats dirty. Staff at reception unfriendly and don't understand anything about getting another room. This is the worst hotel of my life that I travel. I find it strange how they have 5 stars. this hotel is never for me again.
Hotel accueillant mais très calme ( restaurant extérieur )
The location was nice, just beside the MRT. The room was great, however the design could be better. eg. there is one bed side table and no powerpoint located at the side table. Limited sound proofing, we were awaken a few times by the door closing of other rooms. The noise level by the aircon compressor is quite unbearable. The clothes hangers provided can only hang shirt but not pants. Only 1 chair in the room ( yes, there was a sofa ) but when we order in for meals, one person would have no place to sit. The structure of the hotel is very long, hotel phone operator / receptionists do not pick up the phone, so we have to go downstairs for any inquiries. Hotel guests were sleeping in the lobby sofa, this is really unacceptable for a 5 star hotel as indicated in Expedia's website. Service crew at the counter definitely requires more training on customer service.
It was alright . The bed was comfortable. My room was smaller than the pictures I saw from capital one travel and hotels.com. They had breakfast lunch and dinner buffets available but they looked underwhelming. There was a McDonald’s downstairs which was convenient. They didn’t have conditioner, but the shower and bathtub were nice. My ceiling was always leaking though. The front desk and hotel manager did not help. The gym was nice. The outside pool area no longer has trees or grass though.
Nice hotel in Bangkok city. Excellent Service. All staff are nice and polite. Room is clean and good view. Perfect location. Very convenient. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended to all travelers.
It was a fantastic experience! The people around us and the hotel staff all were really lovely! I absolutely loved the indoor swimming pool and shops down stairs! The rooms were lovely ! Special thanks to Mr. Moni for suggesting lovely locations near by and briefing us about the surrounding as well as the hotel,Really friendly and always smiling!! Will be back soon! 🌸
The hotel room is cleaner for this stay, the guest was satisfied. The taste of the breakfast is fair. Hope the hotel could keep the room clean and improve the quality of the breakfast. The room rate is good.
Electric in room keep on and off (Room 1517)
Enttäuschende Einrichtung und personal oftmals unfreundlich
Near MRT station. It is convenient to travel around.
It was positioned in an abandoned mall. So far it's quite far from the city centre but right beside the MRT station so that's great. The property is quite old and the decor actually reflects it. Overall okay.
This hotel is advertised as being in a hood shopping / restaurant district. The whole place is abandoned except for the hotel, besides the breakfast (which was disappointing) there’s only one restaurant around. Luckily the hotel is by the train because we had to always take it to go eat. The room itself looks nice until you take a closer look, cleaning is eh and the finishes are not great. Bed is hard as a rock. Wish we would have stayed somewhere else. The staff was very friendly though.
Staffs' service could have been better
there didnt supply much electrical plug. my PAD can't get the power supply at all
Very old hotel l don't recommend any one
I booked a superior twin room. It was huge. There was a living room, the bed room and a toilet with a bathtub. The whole experience was great. The gym was well equipped with different machines and the hotel is really near the MRT, which was what I exactly needed. I would go back to the same place again.
Nice hotel close to MRT and Free upgrading to suite.
Was happy to get upgraded. However, checkout took too long. Not so ideal for business as time is tight but the hold up at the check-out was a bummer. Hotel was filled with tourists from the Mainland.
spacey room strong air conditioning nice bathroom near to subway station but the subway station is about 30min travelling distance from the city centre
Beside having to deal with a large group of Chinese tour this is a great place for the price. Don’t go to the breakfast buffet unless you brave enough to beat the crowd first thing in the morning. That being said waiting for elevator and have a relax moment can be a challenge as well.
Nice staff...and good hospitality :)..clean...and great service ^^
The room itself is fine. But only have 2 lift, took quite sometime to get up and down. The electricity broke down in the morning while we are sleeping, got woke up because of the heat.
The overall experience was good. The hotel is situated at a good location which make it very convenient for us to meet our friends and find food. However, there is no smoking room available and the 2 lifts are slow considering the volume of hotel customers at this festive period.
Good hotel, clean, very convenient
The hotel was great! The walking market was fun. Didn’t use the pool but it looked good.
My stay at the Bazaar Hotel started interesting... they have busloads of Chinese tourists daily. it was constantly crowded as a result. This resulted in my room being wrong on arrival, I was given a standard room when I paid for a suite. The staff corrected the problem quite fast. When I got to the suite the AC was not running, the shower still had someones fingernails on the ledge, the room was requested cleaned 4 times in 6 days and that was never addressed. Gross. The bed was rock hard. The switches for the lights are semi-connected so there is a specific order things need to be turned on and off. The doorbell for next door rang in my room and the doorbell for my room simply didn't work. If still thinking about booking this suite out, I also feel it should be known that the couch is not a hide-a-bed so you will need to request a roll away. The hotel also does not offer laundry service so if you need to clean clothes during your stay. good luck finding a place. The pool closes at 10pm but the gym area is pretty neat all the same. The hotel staff are nice though. i ordered room service a couple nights and the staff were generous and the portion size is good. The hotel is right next to Lat Phrao MRT station. it will get you close to china town but plan on taxi's after you arrive at the last stop. an MRT trip will take about 45min to go from Lat Phrao to Hua Lamphong.
This is a new property so rooms look good and staff is pleasant. The walls are a bit thin so there's some noise from neighboring rooms. The biggest inconvenience is that there are only two small elevators for an 800 room hotel. I noticed that they have opened a 3rd freight/staff elevator to the public but this occasionally results in sharing the elevator with laundry carts and carts of dirty dishes. There are no English language channels on the TV. This hotel caters primarily to Chinese tourists. Because many Chinese are new to travel they don't have much sense of what is appropriate behavior when traveling. I understand that they are a newly developed country and that it will take a while for some of the less educated travelers to develop better knowledge. I think it greatly benefits the world for Chinese to travel and see other places. However, if you don't like people who refuse to que and take turns, if you don't like shouting at dinner tables or in the public areas of the hotel, if you don't like people smoking in the hotel, if you don't like people dragging their infants feet across your dinner table and hitting you then this is not the hotel for you. The staff do a good job of managing the occasional chaos that ensues when dealing with large numbers of Chinese tourists descending on the hotel by the bus load. The location of this hotel was ideal for my business. The access to the MRT subway station is excellent. I would stay here again.
Nearby subway in reasonable price
The hotel is great nice big clean rooms good location, great food. The only serious problem I encountered that makes me Never wanna go back again is that 99% of the customers is Chinese. They are loud , impolite, slam with doors, push you when they try to leave the elevator, ....
Nice room. Staff was courteous.
