One of the best backpacker friendly hostel in Delhi and the best part is the Chillout area in Terrace 🤘

I am a traveller and I have stayed in more than 20+ hostels across India and abroad but I have never ever come across a hostel which is so unhygienic, dirty, messy, unprofessional and disgusting. The rooms smelled, the mattress had fungus on them and half of them were turned. The female dormitory looked like I am in railway station bathroom. O My God, how can guests staying in such a bad property is beyond my imagination. I will never ever stay there again

Everything was dirty and messy and it was a very uncomfortable stay. I could not even eat my food inside because the surroundings were so dirty

The best hostel in Delhi in terms of location convenience.

I love this hostel, I always go there when I am in delhi. I love the vibe, it's very social, the staff is great, there are activities, there is a cool common area and it's very close to the metro

Could be cleaner

Hostel with a very vibrant atmosphere. The hosts are very friendly and make sure you will have a good time while in Delhi!

Nothing just an idea : A mirror in the girls' dorm, so they can do their makeup or get dressed, would free up space in the bathroom. These ladies are quite vain! 😄

Na hostelu se mi líbil personál, který tvoří pro hosty komunitu a je připraven pomoci v každé situaci. Během mého dvoudenního pobytu pro všechny hosty uspořádalo vedení hostelu společenský večer na střeše. Také mě pozvali na společnou prohlídku města a nakonec ještě zarezervovali hřiště, kde jsme si zahráli fotbal. V hostelu se mi spalo dobře, oceňuji závěs okolo postele, toalety a sprchy jsou v pohodě, snídaně byla dobrá. Metro je pár minut chůze. To vše za skvělou cenu. Jestli budu ještě někdy v New Delhi, ubytuji se tady.

Great place to stay in Delhi. The staff is so welcoming and thoughtful. Neat, tyde and well located. I do recommend Joey's if you are coming to town. I always stay here.

Great experience at this place.

The staff were amazing. They made us feel welcome right away and for our first night they took us on a night out in Delhi where we got to meet our fellow travellers and felt safe the whole time as two girls. On another occasion, my makeup bag went missing and the staff went out of their way to get it back for me. The hostel also offers tours. I went on one of old Delhi which provided a great way to explore what the city has to offer safely.

Our initial women's only dorm room was not very comfortable as the bunk beds did not have curtains. However, Joey's hostel were very accommodating and moved us straight away to a newly refurbished dorm. The facilities are basic but everything is mostly clean - could just do with more refurb. I was not the biggest fan of the location - great if you want to experience the everyday life and feel of Delhi but I found it felt a bit sketchy at night compared to some of the more trendy areas of Delhi which felt a lot safer as a woman.

El ambiente del hostel es bueno. Hice amigas en la habitación y a mi me resultó más agradable sentirme rodeada de gente en la misma situación ya que viajaba sola.

La limpieza era mala, la verdad es que las habitaciones eran aceptables, pero los baños...dejaban mucho que desear. Había muuuchos mosquitos, y el aire de la habitación estaba demasiado frío.

Fun and chill hostel, great people who help with anything you need, would definitely stay again. Good location too.

Nos alojamos dos noches en este hostel. La calle en la que está situado es tranquila y se puede llegar fácilmente en Uber. Como punto positivo, el personal es muy agradable, atento y siempre está dispuesto a ayudarte en todo lo que puede.

Por las noches resulta difícil descansar, ya que es un hostel con muchos estudiantes y suele haber bastante ambiente y fiestas. Además, se escuchan diferentes ruidos durante la noche, incluida la música del rooftop, por lo que si buscas tranquilidad para dormir puede no ser la mejor opción. En cuanto a la limpieza, creemos que podría mejorar, y en nuestra habitación había bastantes mosquitos.

Está ubicado muy cerca del metro en una parada muy central. Las habitaciones de mujeres son muy cómodas, no tienen cortina en las camas pero tienen barras para poder colgar las cosas y lockers dentro de la habitación. El aire acondicionado se dañó pero lo resolvieron en un día. Mientras tanto me cambiaron a la habitación mixta que sí tiene cortinas en las camas. Lo más fenomenal de mi estancia fue haber tratado con el personal que trabajaba allí. Fueron muy amables y amistosos. Qué buena vibra tiene este lugar.

La limpieza de la cocina podría mejorarse

Support staff are running for food with the guest only creating ruckus…ideally they should do after or before guest breakfast…

the property have got good atmosphere but I beleive I didn't got the good room the ac got problems and after living over there for 2 days I got problem in my nose as well because the ac got some problem the smell is coming from my room but the other rooms was fine. i don't know why they gave me that room all were locals in that room

Room smells horrible. Bathrooms, horrific. Paint is falling off the roof. Had booked a deluxe room. I might get that kind of room in 300rs anywhere. Very small and shady. No space at all. Really, unexpected from joeys. Disappointed with booking dot com also, was expecting a good room, but well.

Great stay at Joey’s for 2 nights and it was conveniently located near the metro station. The female dorm was clean and comfortable with good AC in the overwhelming heat. The hostel manager and staff were extremely kind and helpful. Safe and pleasant for a solo female traveller 🙂

Easy to reach. Receptionist was polite.

Dorm bulb was not working. Cleanliness is the thing which was missing. And there was very less light.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The smell, I booked a private room with was large and appeared clean, the bathroom smelt like rotten meat and diarrhoea. The bedding smelt like it had been used. I slept for 3h on a towel as I arrived early hours. I was meant to stay again but changed to a hotel.

Unhygienic, cockroaches in kitchen, dirty, dirty seating arrangement, old Blankets and bedspreads

Owner was friendly. AC was working well with 45°C outside.

The bathroom smelled very intensely like pee, which made it impossible to stay there for more than 5 minutes. Room was dark, worn down and not really clean. Lock of the room was a preset code, which did not feel very safe. Included breakfast was only from 9-10. Common rooms did not really have atmosphere.

Dorm beds were clean and hygienic. Enough number of washrooms. Staff and co travellers were good to interact with.

Body wash was not available for shower

The distance from the metro station was walkable. Market was near. Beds and cleaning was perfect.

The other people used to talk loudly while on the phone. They didn't care if some one was sleeping. When I arrived I was taken to the third floor where I hadn't booked my stay. There was no lift. There was no water dispenser at the reception as they were very much interested in selling water bottles. The staff had occupied lower beds at the premium location so guests had to suffer. There was only one fan in the long room wherein the breeze couldn't reach the other part of the room. I went to Joey's jaipur. And the experience was pretty good. But here in Delhi I was a bit disappointed. I had booked the 12 Bed Dorm. Which was similar looking as it was in jaipur. So I booked it. But when i checked in the dorm was on the 3rd floor and it was pathetic. I just rejected the room and I had to tell them the booked room. Then I was transferred to the room i booked. As the washrooms here are common and are not inside the rooms. Ac is turned off during the day... No lift in the premises ... This is a three floor building so everyone you have to climb to the 2nd floor for water . And third floor for the terrace . Maintenance is not up to the mark. The drainage was clogged and every time I used to go for a bath the water used to rise on the floor. Breakfast is the same for all days... They also ask to wash the plates after breakfast

The staff are incredible!! The tour ran by the owner abbey was so great, it was just such a wholesome beautiful experience

No curtains in the female dorm but that’s not the end of the world
