We really enjoyed our stay at Prakash Kutir B+B. Sagar was incredibly helpful even before we arrived—quick to answer questions and generous with advice. While we were there, he pointed us toward great local restaurants, including The Clay Oven and Arisii, which made exploring Hauz Khas even better. The B+B itself is a perfect place to start when you’re new to Delhi. It’s a welcoming, family‑run home with wonderful food and a calm, friendly atmosphere. We felt looked after from the moment we arrived and would happily stay again.

Wundervolles Zimmer in einer sehr angenehmen Gegend. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich und bietet gegen Aufpreis auch Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen an. Das Essen ist traumhaft. Die Zimmer sehr sauber.

We had a fantastic stay, the hospitality and communication before we arrived was great. It’s easy to find in a good area. The room I stayed in was a great size and spotlessly clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at the B&B five times. The first stay was in 2022. It has been a great base to return to. The location is excellent, away from the crowds in Hauz Khas but within a short distance to the Village or metro. The home cooked breakfast and chats with other guests make this memorable. Sagar runs the B&B with ease.

Die Ausstattung war außergewöhnlich. Wir hatten ein großes geräumiges Zimmer mit Küchenzeile und Balkon. Sehr gepflegtes Haus in dem schönen Stadtteil Hauz Khas.

Wonderful host family and this part of South Delhi made for a gentle introduction to the city. Rooms are large and good value. The special Holi celebrations with the family and guests were a lot of fun.

Very welcoming and helpful with organising tours,taxis etc. very safe part of town. Breakfast and dinner very handy (home cooked vegetarian) we stayed there on three different occasions during our two week stay. We passed a few so called hotels on our travels and glad we were not staying at them. Do your homework and check hotels on google maps

Fijne buurt, gastvrouw heeft een goede thali voor ons gekookt. Prima plaats voor onze laatste overnachting voor we weer naar huis gingen. S Middag vanuit hier nog even naar Market Ln, daar wat drinken bij leuke koffie bar waar dove medewerkers de zaak runnen. Vanuit hier makkelijk Tuktuk naar waar je maar wil, wij gingen naar Lodhi Art, ideaal! Omdat we heel vroeg vertrokken bood gastvrouw aan om ontbijt klaar te zetten en stonden de koffers al beneden klaar dat we niet hoefde te sjouwen zo vroeg in de ochtend.

bed echt hard en ik kreeg douche niet aan omdat er iets verkeerd stond ingesteld... werd wel super snel en goed geholpen toen ik vroeg waarom douche niet aanging

The staff are warm, hospitable and attentive. They go above and beyond in meeting all special requests. I sent a few messages prior and despite the odd hours they got back to me within minutes. Sagar has a wealth of knowledge of not just this area but other popular travel destinations. The evening meals were delicious. Rooms were spacious. Wifi reliable. And this is a great area to land when first arriving in India. A bit less busy. A lot of clean and tasty restaurants in the area. Nice park when you want to step out of the Delhi hustle. I was pleasantly surprised by the common areas and kitchens on each floor. Clean water readily available.

The shower. It was difficult to get the water 'just right'-- this was only a problem in one of the rooms. And the bed was hard - which of course some might really appreciate.

I enjoyed the stay very much. Atmosphere of the area was safe and calm. Room was nice and cozy with nice decorations, lights, a desk and a heater. Even for transit, it worth spending night here since it’s not far from the airport by taxi (approximately 20-40 minutes depending on traffic). Owner couple and his mother were all friendly and kind.

Prakash Kutir is very, very clean. Sagar helped me with my many questions. Good location with plenty of tuk tuks available. I found the property very quiet which is very important for me. Thank you Sagar for your hospitality and for arranging transport to airport when gates are closed.

Located in a very nice neighbourhood this guest house is very pleasant, clean, the rooms are comfortable, each floor has a kitchen with all amenities. Not so far from the metro station (20 miin walk or 5 min with a tuktuk). You will be very well welcomed by the family. I loved this place, wish to come back.

Really loved our 2 night stay here during a 3 week visit to India. The online photos accurately reflect the property. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Having kitchen facilities was a bonus we weren't expecting. Breakfast was lovely. The B&B is in a really safe area - gated street and wider area felt safe.

We loved the location and had a lovely meal at the home stay. Our favorite was the food tour of old Delhi. What an amazing experience. Our host also had a very helpful guide to the area. It was a wonderful stay.

Great place! Everything was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable and room nice! There was also a shared kitchen available which was practical if you choose to use it. The hosts are welcoming and attentive! They helped us to arrange a taxi for early morning flight and recommended things to do on our day in Delhi. We had breakfast for one of the mornings and food also was good! We also liked the location, close enough to central part and also airport yet in a more residential area. Walking distance is an amazing restaurants!

What a brilliant choice for our first couple of days in India. Great part of Delhi- buzzy but villagy -great for walking before heading off to the hectic old town. Best part was the gorgeous and scrupulously clean house and the charming family who own it. Savita cooked for us every night and morning- different veg dishes and all delicious. We chatted about India and my 20 yr old sons were mesmerised by her. Sagar and Ajay were equally hospitable . Thanks for a fantastic stay, we thoroughly recommend for everyone.

The room was clean and comfortable. The facility is as described. It is a short drive from the airport and there was a lovely park nearby. I only stayed overnight, waiting for my connecting flight.

The property is situated in a posh neighbourhood of south delhi. The property was very well decorated and maintained. The neighbourhood felt safe. The room was spacious and had all the amenities. Airport is just 30 min drive away. Had a lot of shops and cafes near by. Overall really enjoyed the stay.

We stayed for three nights but didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, since we had early starts each morning. Sagar was an excellent host! Very responsive and friendly, and he made suggestions for local places to eat and get a drink. We loved the shared terrace attached to our room! We were able to do laundry there, too. The guesthouse is clean and inviting, and the shared kitchen was helpful for storing water and snacks. It's in a great neighborhood for walking around and exploring Hauz Khas. We enjoyed good beer at a brewpub around the corner and got a lovely cake from a local bakery to bring to dinner at our friend's parents's house.

The mattresses were very firm (but some people may prefer this), and the water pressure was so-so. It took 30 minutes for the hot water heater to heat enough water to have a hot shower, so plan ahead if you're on a schedule.

Beautiful property, family run, lovely area of Delhi. Will be coming back when next in the city!

Located in a quiet and relatively calm and clean neighbourhood, this is a great choice if you have had enough of the chaos of Indian cities and you want to relax. There are sites, good restaurants, cafés in the area.The family are always helpful and the premises clean.

It isn't glamorous, it's a B&B, but for the price a good deal.The bed was very firm.

Per quanto riguarda la struttura tutto bellissimo e perfetto: consiglio la cucina della padrona di casa eccezionale.

Unica nota negativa l'autista che mi è venuto a prendere all'aeroporto e seguito durante il primo giorno a Delhi: pressante nelle richieste ha continuato a messaggiarmi tutti i giorni successivi, mi ha chiesto molti più soldi di quello che poi ho scoperto in seguito necessitassero per i suoi servizi. MI ha portato in ristoranti che sicuramente lo pagavano e anche in negozi dove il turista viene spennato. Continuava a dirmi che Delhi è pericolosa, di non usare Uber mettendomi una pressione e una paura senza senso. UN servizio che spaventa i turisti e non rende merito alla città e al paese. Consiglio a tutti di usare Uber che funziona benissimo.

Ik vond de mensen niet echt behulpzaam. Eerste overnachting was ontbijt inclusief en bij de tweede niet. Moesten we bijbetalen. Zat er plots niet meer bij. Wij moesten 8.15 vertrekken vanwege onze vlucht en vroegen om 7.30 te ontbijten maar dat was pas mogelijk vanaf 8.00. Dat is slechte service naar de klanten toe. Nu amper wat gehad. Ook geen gedag toen we gingen. Wij vonden het hier tegenvallen

I chose the property for a traditional home stay experience. The property is greatly located in a quiet area. The room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the modern bathroom. The home-cooked lunch was delicious.

It was a very nice starting point of our India stay. Good and safe location, tea kitchen available, good value for money. Breakfast is very good and healthy (great variety of Indian food). The family is very knowledgable and always there to help

Die Betreiber des B&B sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben schon vor der Ankunft wertvolle Informationen übermittelt, z. B. wie man vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft kommt. Es gibt auch Informationen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Die Familie bietet großzügige, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit ausreichend Stauraum und modernem Bad uns vor allem 'Familienanschluss'. Es gibt frisch gekochtes Frühstück und auf Wunsch Abendessen, bei dem man mit dem Betreiber ins Gespräch kommen kann. Die Wohnung liegt in einer bewachten Wohngegend, so dassich mich dort sehr sicher und von Anfang an wohl gefühlt habe.

The stay is hosted by a lovely family who are more than happy to help you with anything, they helped me by storing my luggage even after I had checked out. The room had everything it needed and the bed was comfortable. Haus Khaz village is about 25-30 min walk away and worth a visit.

Pulizia impeccabile, la migliore trovata in 13 giorni di viaggio in India. Servizio lavanderia efficiente, staff gentile e sempre disponibile: ci hanno persino aiutato a trovare una torta per festeggiare un compleanno! Un soggiorno davvero perfetto, consigliatissimo!

We had a great stay. We got looked after very well by all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Sagar arranged tours and taxis and his knowledge was jnvaluable. Our room was spacious well appointed. Within short walking distance are ATM and three cafes if inclined. The area is safe for walking. A must do if you stay here are the home cooked meals. After dinner the first night we ate dinner every night the meals were so good. Savita cooks different things each night with variety at each meal. A real treat. Thanks Sagar!

Loved how clean, and homey this B&B was. Location is great especially if you want to walk to the Siri Sports Complex. We loved how welcoming the family was and the deliciousness of home cooked meals were with 100% all natural and organic ingredients. Savita was an amazing host. Die Gastgeber waren nicht besonders freundlich. Insbesondere beim Frühstück hatte man das Gefühl zu stören. Das Frühstück selbst war sehr einfach. Es wurden einfach ein paar Sachen hingestellt und nicht nachgefragt, ob man noch etwas möchte. Kaffee haben wir nur einmal bekommen, ansonsten mussten wir Tee trinken. Indische Gastfreundschaft geht anders!
