Location is perfect especially its just few steps away from the cathedral! Good value for money!

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

No elevator but it is okay, the staff will assist you with the luggage.

The ac in the room was pretty weak it was hot in the room where the ac wasn't directly blowing. There were tiny black ants everywhere. Sometimes there was a pungent smell coming from the drain int he bathroom.

Fantastic nice hotel with a good breakfast. We really enjoy it.

Noisy room from outside traffic, breakfast was a poor offering although they seem to have a breakfast menu that you couldn’t order in the morning If you mobility issues be aware this hotel all rooms are on floors except ground floor and it has no lift didn’t impact me but you need to know

There was no elevator and you have to climb up back and forth if you need something downstairs. Aircondition wasn't cooling. We're sweating the whole night. Bad sleep. The water dispenser is leaking and water went inside our room.

i always stay at almont city hotel. it is in the middle of Butuan. anything you need is just around the corner. pharmacy, atm, restaurants, bakery. going around is easy as there are always taxi or jeep or tricycle around. this is in the main plaza and very near the cathedral. plus point is the breakfast inclusion and the free airport transfers.

rooms facing the plaza tend to be noisy if there are events in the plaza.

The staff were accomodating and helpful. They even allowed us to leave our suitcases with them for FREE while we embarked on a five-day tour of CARAGA region.

I like everything the place is clean, the staff are friendly and mostly it's next to the plaza, my nieces love it very much.

Overall, my stay was enjoyable. The hotel has an old classic charm, but it is still clean and well-maintained. The staff are very respectful and accommodating, which added to the comfort of the stay. The free breakfast was also good and a nice bonus.

Everything was fine during my stay, although the air-conditioning in Unit 407 was a bit weak. It cooled the room, but not as efficiently as expected. Aside from that minor issue, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I have read negative reviews about this hotel like it was outdated, not senior friendly etc. but in my case we really enjoyed our stay here. Our 2 seniors were happy even if the room is located on the 4th floor. Climbing the stairs is just fine for them, it is a wide & not steep stairs. The breakfast is plenty and delicious & the free shuttle service to the airport is a great add-ons. Maybe it's an old & traditional hotel but for us it's best for its price.

Wow. I did not realize I’d find such an elegant yet affordable hotel on Mindanao. Everything was perfect from the staf to the last minute accommodations for an unplanned additional guest to free airport shuttle service, right down to the added touch of our towels being folded into kissing swans. And all of this in a location that is smack in the middle of everything downtown. I have nothing negative to say. Only thanks for a great stay.

We had a great stay. The rooms were comfortable, but the bathrooms need updating. Food quality is not what I expected. It could be better. Overall, it was still great . . .

Bathrooms need renovation, as the bath / shower combination is not well designed. Food variety at breakfast is boring, and having dinner there was unimpressive. Potentially, it could be a really great hotel . . .

I like the location because it is accessible as it is in the heart of the city

There is no elevator though it’s only 4 floors hotel, it is not easy to use the stairs specially if you are with small kids. There is no chair to sit in aside from the beds. Furnitures (tables and tv tables) were old. Towels and blankets are also old need replacement.

I was amazed during my stay at this boutique hotel because I was able to book our bunk bed room at P350 per person, and it is inclusive of pool access to their sister hotel Almont Inland Resort. We also had an additional single room at P1,200 inclusive of breakfast and airport transfer which is a good deal. It's also centrally located with nearby atms, pharmacies, and local restaurants. My wife loves their unlimited chicken at P225.

Overall the stay was nice. Breakfast was great, the staff were very accommodating. We just had an issue with the hot shower, but the hotel staff was very quick to address the problem.

Mosquitoes in room. Asked for spray at reception. None showed up. Had to go reception a second time. My partner , daughter, motherinlaw were bitten by mozzies. How can one enjoy the stay?
