The shower caulking needs to be redone. It was spreading out all over the floor. And the bidet started leaking overnight and a huge puddle kept showing up so i had to out the bidet handle in the sink.

Very close to malls and restaurants

It was too close to the road, you could hear the motorcycles on the road. No Bell boy- security guard brought up our things when we checked in and brought down our things when we checked out. I do not like the idea that a guard delivers things to the room, it made me feel uncomfortable and not safe! He knew where my room was. Key cards- only one was given- when there were two occupants in the room. I requested for another key card which was given the day after. Shower heater was intermittent. The temperature would go super hot or super cold- no steady temp.

Frontdesk needs to improve in their service. She was giving me reservations of different persons. And gave me the right name after 3rd tries. 🤔 Our toiletseat in our room was smaller than the actual toiletbowl. Its so difficult for me, as a female. 😔

Nice and quiet in the rooms. Hotel is used for a lot of different events poolside. Therefore, it is very crowded. Typically, on weekends. Restaurant is#1

We komen er al jaren en bevalt ons goed . Erg vriendelijk personeel. Ook dat nu je meer binnen in airco kan ontbijten erg plus punt.

We zien ook in de jaren dat het ouder wordt. De kamers mogen wel ge update worden. Je ziet slijtage in de kamers. Ook de bedlinnen kan ook update hebben.

jammer dat het parkeerterrein ook gebruikt wordt door mensen die de nightmarket komen bezoeken. daardoor is er geen parkeerruimte voor gasten van het hotel.

Staff are not so helpful.the staff in the restaurant they didn't attend to the guest but instead they continue to clean the table even though there aren't guest waiting for it. And also there are flies hovering around the tables just outside the lime and jest restaurant. Maybe you need to place some repellant plants 🪴 around ?

The property is good.

Bathroom was flooded every time we use it. The towels and the bed sheets are disgusting. The side of the bed was so dusty I got my brother to clean it up for me, every time I moved the dust stirred up, I could not stop coughing.

The restaurant in the facilities offers a large variety of options and the food is good quality.

We have been in this hotel several times. With they years the place has become an event venue rather than a hotel. The owners prioratize events, not hotel guests comfort and rest. Out of the four nights two of them there was extremely loud music until 11PM. Loud meaning being in the room felt like being inside of the club, both noise and vibrations. One of the mornings the staff started preparing for the day event at 6AM in the morning hammering very loudly all over the place. We were with a baby and it was impossible to have a good sleep during any of the nights we stayed. If you want to to rest, relax and sleep this is not the place to be. Moving forward we will try the new hotel on the other side of the road.

Went for my brother's wedding. Don't get me wrong.The wedding was beautiful, the room was clean. The wedding planner is where things failed. They see a foreigner and think you have lots of money and can charge any price they want. They gave the bride and groom a small room knowing that there would be makeup artists and bridal party needing to get ready. Thankfully, the bride and groom did not live far away and were able to accommodate. The wedding planner had everybody ready other than the bride at nine am. Did the few photos and were expected to sit in the lobby until three pm. We had called the day before to extend the second room for a second night and we're told that we would have to move rooms but would have a room only to be told the morning of the wedding that we had to be checked out by eleven (one hour notice). We were told there would be a rehearsal. They did a two minute show of what was to happen, leaving everybody confused. Other than them tracking the groom in schooling him every time he left the lobby (even to use the bathroom) or took off his jacket. I feel it was very disorganized, and things did not happen that were promised.

I had the best stay here in Watergate Butuan. I am in awe to the beautiful facade and mesmerising amenties they had. The food was 5 star quality and taste scrumptious. It is 10 over 10! And the most memorable part were the wonderful staff who were not just very warm and hospitable but also genuine a and hard working. I had a great encounter with mr Argel in Lemon and Zest Kitchen. And the Attendant in our buffet mr Alvin and Alex were superb. And ofcourse ms April in front desk and Shaine in housekeeping were outstanding. Overall, the best experience I had in a hotel. Kodus to Watergate Hotel Butuan and all the staff!

When checking out the reception charged us $1000 phd $30 Australian dollars for the use of two extra towels I would have stayed here again but when this happened as we were leaving has left a bad taste in my mouth,they will loose business with a silly policy like this where going to stay across the street next time at the amarah

Great friendly staff, clean room

Contruction work next to reception, I relise this has to be done but the noise of power tools is what I was there to have a holiday from. As my room was next to it and went all day until around 730pm it did start to annoy me. Also right next to restaurant so couldn't get away from it even during lunch. Just put it down to bad timing.

Room is kind of small

The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is amazing, this is what made our two night stay in Watergate worth.

It was our first time in Butuan City, and a special one indeed. A hotel with pool is the top consideration why we booked Watergate hotel. A day before we checked in, we received a notice about pool closure throughout our stay. We had to book a separate place to spend time in the pool. Perfect timing!

The parking space is awful.. it’s like first come, first serve.. but how about those tenants with cars..?

What I like most are the staff, most specifically Kayla (receptionist). They are welcoming, warm and they greeted us everytime they saw us. They also made sure our needs were attended every single time. They were prompt, concise, & fast even when we requested it in the middle of the night. I also liked the breakfast buffet. Although, the actual restaurant was currently under renovation, the food — taste, variety, & options made up for it. I felt safe staying at Watergate Hotel. The door to our room is secured and there was a safe inside where we were able to store our valuables.

I was expecting the beds to be comfortable but the mattresses were so firm & hard, it took us days to adjust and had good sleep.

Clean hotel with good food. The included buffet breakfast was nice. Pool clean.
