The room seemed clean, but dated, and the tub/shower is in very poor condition. There were two straight back chairs to sit in, but they are definitly not for relaxing in. The owner and staff that we spoke to were very pleasant, and a non-working coffee maker was replaced immediately. The restaurant discounts are very nice, and the availibility of towels for use at the hot springs was very helpful. Also, the refrigerated creamers are a lovely change from the usual dust packets!

Just the tub/shower area; it really needs some help. We would love to see a couple of easy chairs for comfortable reading and entertaining

The bathroom is old and tired looking. Broken shelf in fibreglass surround. Water leak damaged ceiling tiles. Hot water tap leaks when in use. One Keurig pod for regular coffee and one for decaf. To be shared between two people 😩. Rug is needing a good cleaning. Overpriced for the condition of property. Arrived September 4 only to find Hot springs on winter schedule before the Labour Day weekend. Very disappointing. Since we stopped especially to do a soak.

A great place to get some sleep after a long journey. It has everything you need, and there's a discount on breakfast in the cafe. No complaints. The administrator has a great sense of humor. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Leider ändert das nichts daran, dass das Motel selbst in einem renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand ist. Der Hinterhof ist mit Gerümpel vollgestellt, das könnte man wesentlich ansprechender gestalten. Insgesamt könnte es auch etwas sauberer sein. Zudem schaltet sich der Kühlschrank ständig deutlich hörbar an, das war in der Nacht sehr störend. Auch liegt das Motel direkt an der Hauptstraße.

Excellent water pressure in updated showers. Premium toilet paper. Discount on the radium pools and free towels to use. Really quiet. Outside looked like a Swiss chalet hotel. Loved all the flowers outside. Keurig in room with retro fridge. Staff was beyond super friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Lock on the door was a bit finicky. The portable ac was loud but it was needed.

The beds were very comfortable!

The bathroom was run down and needs updating. The bathtub had mouldy spots that could have been easily wiped up. No plug for the tub to actually have a bath. The sink had rust areas.

Sehr nette Betreuung. Alles im Zimmer was wir brauchten, sogar ein Kühlschrank. Da es sehr warm war, war das super um die Getränke zu kühlen. Lage gut und ruhig.

Motel insgesamt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

The room was ok but the air condition was not working. It was terribly hot and I couldn't have a good night's sleep after a long day of driving. The fan provided by the owner helped a little bit but very disappointed at this.

The location was where we expected. close to restaurants and the hot springs. the management was very friendly and helpful. The room small but comfortable and clean.

The parking was very difficult to get out of. The tents were in the area that was needed to back up as you were asked not to back in. The WIFI was not secure and my device advised me not to use it. I had to use my Hot Spot which used up a lot of data.

Location was great and very easy to get to (right off the main highway) and just a few minutes away from the hot springs, the staff were extremely kind and helpful upon check in and throughout the stay, offering maps of places to go and recommendations on where to eat in the area. The rooms were well kept and comfortable and there were lots of amenities. We didn't end up using the BBQ or table areas available, but we played a few fun rounds of corn hole!

Floors, baseboards and behind the bedside table were slightly dirty, but the beds and linens were all clean and satisfactory. Overall, not much to say for negatives.

Tom welcomed us as if we were kings. His kindness was very appreciated from all the families. The motel is very well located and the beds were so comfortable. We all slept very well and it was a good motel experience for all of us.

The location is perfect for us and close to everything like restaurant, gas station etc..... The owner was very nice and very helpful. He told us where are the other places that we can explore while we are there.

The atmosphere was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and firm, which we really liked. The suite had been upgraded with laminate flooring, and the owner also offered discounts at selected restaurants and coffee shops.

The place feels a bit outdated, and the bathroom—particularly the tub and sink—wasn’t in the best condition. However, we understand that the owner is gradually updating the facilities.

The owner was so friendly, knowledgeable and even gave us discounts for things nearby.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. Even though we’ve been to Radium a few times, he went out of his way to share great tips and recommendations—it really made our stay even better. (I wish I could remember his name).

While the accommodations are slightly dated, they have a quaint charm. The location and view during sunrise and sunsets, more than make up for it.

Loved the location as just a couple miles from Radium Hot Sorings. Tom (the owner) even had a bag w a nice towel and discounted tickets. He gave me lots of information about the area which was so helpful. The queen room was wonderful as you could park your car right outside. The fridge and microwave were clean. Probably one of the best small hotels for the price I have ever stayed with all the small homey touches.

Tv remote control was not great very hard to change channels and wasn't able to use volume controls had to walk to TV to change volume. Despite this I still highly recommend this place as the service is amazing.

The motel’s location is right outside the entrance to Kootenay NP, and many restaurants are a close walk away. The staff is nice and personable. The motel, while older, is spacious and clean. A refrigerator and microwave is in the room. Gas grills are available to guests.

Gables is a good option for a short stay. The rooms are clean though a little compact in size. There is open space outside the rooms to eat/drink or simply chill. The host Tom was very helpful and shared a lot of information regarding the activities around the area. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a short and budget friendly stay.

Clean, and met our requirements. Close proximity to the Hot Springs.

Not much we didn’t like. Motel could do with some updating, but everything was working fine.

We liked the place. The service was extraordinary. The room was pretty clean and cozy.

The AC was noisy. The stay could be a litlle more affordable.

There was no air conditioning so the tiny room was very hot. They provided a fan but it was super noisy so kept me up most of the night. I rented room 3 but I got room 1 and since that was the smoking area I couldn't even open my window to let some air in. No ice machine either so had to ask for ice but felt bad so never asked for more.

The best part about the Gables is the staff. We've stayed multiple times and this time found it a little dirty, mostlt the bathroom. This hotel would be perfect with a few little updates.

It was a very hot day and the air conditioning could have worked better. However, our stay was great and it is a very nice town.

Just not what was expected, but suited a one night stay.

The photos of this property are misleading and do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the accommodations. The door was flimsy and lacked a deadbolt, and both the property and the rooms were quite dated, showing clear signs of wear and a need for repairs and renovations. For the price being charged, I expected significantly better quality. I also expect more from Expedia in terms of ensuring property photos are a true representation and providing transparency around the sources of reviews.

Wir waren hier um in den Radium Hot Springs zu baden und dafür war dieses Motel perfekt. Wir konnten an der Rezeption ermäßigte Eintrittskarten zum Bad erhalten und Leih-Handtücher sowie eine Gratis-Tasche dazu. Das Personal war super freundlich und die Zimmer sauber und bequem. Jedes Zimmer hat einen eigenen Parkplatz genau vor der Tür und es gibt einen Gartenbereich zum Grillen und geselligem Beisammensein.

Place was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is very very old and run down. I did not feel I got value for money. Stayed there because it was a halfway point of a journey but would not stay again.

The host was very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. We had a king-sized bed and there was still lots of space. A small fridge, a Keurig coffee machine, and a microwave were included.

No air conditioning meant a very warm night trying to sleep. There was a fan in the room to try help with the air circulation.
