Good staff and clean room
very easy approach to the facilities
We came in kind of early and they already had a room ready for us, nice and very friendly staff, yummy breakfast!
Good value for money
Excellent service and excellent place to stay! Incredible working with me with my accessibility needs and my wheelchair and even upgrdafaded me due to a misunderstanding on my own part about the bathroom/bed combo options. Will definitely stay again.
Stayed in a double room with basin. 5th floor with excellent view. Towel and soap supplied. Bed comfortable. Showers and toilets were outside the room, shared. Room itself was clean and comfortable, cleaned daily. Only a single hanger for clothes, which was far from adequate. Cleanliness of toilets and showers very variable, which of course depends on other guests' behaviour. No hook for clothes inside toilets, so awkward if visiting shower and toilet one after the other, with nowhere to leave towel. Relatively inexpensive for Paris, and stayed here due to limited budget, but extortionate price for what was supplied if it was elsewhere. Acceptable for a 2 night stay.
This hotelF1 property is a Dormitory - long corridors, many students and feels like a Univercity building. Clean, shared accommodation style where multiple travelers sleep in the same room, and are found in guesthouses, hostels, and casual hotels around the world. Their greatest appeal is the low price of multiple beds in one room. Coffee machine will charge you only coins it likes, so be prepared to look for the coins. Staff refused to refund me and I stayed my time there. I think teenagers will like it, also young kids will enjoy loud environment. You will enjoy the stay if you miss your old university days.
Rooms are small for 4 of us had a lovely stay. Very clean rooms, comfy beds and great black out blinds. Our room was very quiet. Little out of the city metro 10 mins walk. Great bakery 5 mins walk away. Will defiantly be back.
The hotel is functional. Rooms small and bathroom micro - I have had bigger shower rooms in ship’s cabins! The addition of a refrigerator in the rooms would be of enormous benefit. It takes 30-40 minutes to reach central sites via 5mins walk - tramway - metro.
A little secluded and solitaire in night time, but feel secure enough, transportation is kind of close and taxis from latin quarters to there wasnt that spensive (15 to 20 E)
Dreadful! Rude staff and no aircon in rooms meaning when it’s hot you could roast a frozen chicken! Beds are the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in.
I would only stay here again if I was desperate and it's my only choice. The room is extremely small, you can barely open a suitcase. The bathroom is the size of an airplane bathroom. You'd be more comfortable laying on a matchbox than the mattress, that's how thin it is. The sheets and towels are like paper, which applies to the walls as well. It gives storage vibes rather than hotel.
Room was clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
Surprisingly very good for the price. We took a family room with private bathroom, was spacious. Room cleaned each day. Walking distance to metro and many shops and restaurants. Reception staff were all very pleasant too.
Basic, ok for overnight stay , nice bars and restaurants within walking distance and trams convenient
The place was great for our small family of 4. It was a great place to bring the kids, very safe and friendly. The main bed was a little hard and the pillows were to soft but otherwise it was an amazing experience.
hotel itself was clean, staff were nice, having laundry on site was also convenient. our room was on the smaller side which was ok. had a direct window view of a cemetery lol. area around it isnt the best but i didnt feel unsafe at all, and was pretty close to metro/trams which was nice.
Much better than expected! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and sufficient for our needs, and the price was unbeatable;e.
Cool hotel if you’re not spending a lot of time there. Staff was super friendly and spoke english very well, shared showers were cleaned every morning at 0900 during our stay. Still, a shared shower. Only about a 15 minute walk to the metro or bus. Good for the price for sure :)
Thought I would get a room with shower. Very deceptive photos. Hot, staff was excellent and the place was spotless. Felt sorry for them after hearing them tell peopl le in front of me sorry bc website/expedia did not state hostel like communal bathrooms.
Excellent stay value is great stayed here 4 times never a single problem
This is a basic accommodation with shared bathroom, but I was impressed that there were 2 multi-stall bathrooms on the floor as well as a washing machine and dryer. We never had to wait for a toilet or a shower to be available. The rooms are a good size but there wasn't any air conditioning. A couple of us moved our mattresses to the floor so we could sleep close to the window. Breakfast was basic and good...and they had the best orange juice we had on our whole trip! Check in and check out was quick and easy. We appreciated the free secured baggage storage in the lobby. We also appreciated that there was a grocery store and some simple eateries just down the street. Also a bus stop really close and the metro was a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.
Execept breakfast all other things are very good. We cecked in about 8am.
It was good for what it is. A hostel vibe thing because the toilet and shower was shared but they were very clean and the room was clean and comfortable. No air conditioning but it wasn’t too hot in the room considering it was 30 degrees outside. People at front desk were nice. Location close to some nice restaurants but far from main train stations.
No a/c
This is a budget hotel and good for the cost. As an older couple didn’t suit us as had to share toilet and shower. I’m a little past backpacking. Thought I had booked a room with facilities. Buyer beware
No A/C and in the description it says it does! The girls in the counter very nice and courteous but the men very rude, when we asked for fans they always said they were out! Rooms were clean but very small as most rooms in Europe are!
Close by the metro. Creepy that when you look at the window is the catacomb.
Clean. You get what you paid for. Extremely small and noisy (you hear the cars outside). Enough for my need.
Clean, spacious, big windows
Perfect place to sleep while visiting Paris. Easy walk into the city. Right near ORY
It was very small. It had a good rating so we reserved, but we didn’t like it. Front desk guy was rude.
Good for its orice
Muy buen hotel, limpio y buen trato
La chambre et la douche commune étaient propres, et l’accès aux transports était pratique. C’est un hôtel plutôt bon marché pour Paris, donc je le recommande.
Great for the cost. Some of the hotel staff were rude, but other than that I would stay here again.
The hotel is very good basic but location is slightly desolate and approach past the street looks like the back of business and not the front
The location and the price suited us for our overnight stay in Paris. Checkin was fast however I found being questioned why I had booked a triple for 2 people a bit odd, the truth was a twin wasn’t available at the time but I’ve paid for a triple so what does it matter how many people sleep in the room?. The communal bathrooms could probably do with a more frequent clean considering how many guests are using them and the timer on the shower barely makes 2min (though you just press it again). The soundproofing in the room worked well blocking most of the traffic noise from the outside world.
Clean rooms and easy access to transportation!
The highway was a little loud at night, but manageable
Great location not right in the center of Paris but has brilliant transport links with a 10 minute walk. There's a few supermarket/shops nearby for essentials. Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are quaint and have all the essentials
Nice
Clean and cheap :)
Acceptable for its star rating, but we normally travel to 4 or 5 star hotels.
Nice little hotel. It’s like a big individual room hostel.
Le personnel d’accueil n’est pas aimable. Sur la réservation elle n’est pas précisé que la chambre qu’on à reservé n’a pas de salle de bain. Mauvaise surprise ! Et il faut payer un supplément pour avoir une sdb ..
Was excellent value for money, room very basic but beds sink, table and a few hooks, but for a couple of nights thats all you need. Toilets and showers are on the same floor. The only thing i would fault reception staff very unfriendly, the only staff member that actually smiled at us is the gentleman looking after breakfast, very nice and friendly, asset to the hotel. Would recommend.
Great if your on a budget.
The Hotel was spotless and very well decorated. Easy access to public transport, and we walked to the Catacombs. The staff were very friendly and spoke English which was helpful. The bathrooms were very clean and we never had to wait to use a shower etc. It felt safe for my children too. There is a coffee machine, vending machines with snacks and some microwave 'meals', 2 microwaves. We didn’t choose to have breakfast, so i can't say what that was like. The beds were comfortable enough, but I was a little achy as a middle aged person with a bad back. Alsp would have been nice to have a tea option woth hot drinks! As long as you realise it is more like a well kept private room hostel with no kitchen, than a hotel, then it is a great place to stay. We would book again.
Parking was so expensive, the rest is OK
Great value for money. Friendly service. Arrived very early to drop bags off....were invited to check in as room was available. Room basic but as expected for price. Clean and comfortable. Had issue with broken door handle to bathroom. Fixed next day after reporting late at night. Bathroom VERY small but everything you needed. Beds very comfortable. Decoration quirky, which added character. Hotel close to transport links and shops/ restaurants within short walk. Perfect base to explore Paris.
The hotel fails to mention about SHARED bathrooms when booking one of their horrible rooms that dont even have mirrors on the walls. Main desk were rude and not dismissive.
The hotels location was fine staff friendly rooms are on the very small side and if you a little on the large side the showers are very restrictive.
The only positive about this hotel was its location. The main issue: my luggage was stolen despite being stored in their so-called “secure” luggage room with CCTV. When I returned, staff didn’t check cloakroom tickets properly, allowing guests to enter unattended and take belongings. After reporting it, I was told to wait until the next day for CCTV review, leaving me distressed without clothes or toiletries. The next day, staff claimed they couldn’t help and told me to go to the police. Later, they miraculously “found” my luggage but my pyjamas were missing, and I had the handbag of the thief instead. I returned it, and my missing items were eventually given back, though my Dr. Martens boots were unlaced—clearly tampered with. Staff were unhelpful, dishonest, and uncaring. The hotel was filthy, with SMELLY corridors and dirty shared showers. To top it off, our room overlooked a graveyard with active digging. Absolutely would not recommend—avoid at all costs.
The place itself made me feel like I was in a mental hospital. Very bare rooms, plastic wrapped matress, tiny showers and you had to repeatedly press a button to keep the water on. The toilets were gross and if you had to pee at midnight, the lights in the stalls would turn off when the door closed so you were in the dark. Also I am disabled and was never able to access the disabled restroom. The staff was friendly enough but I would not stay there again...
Amazing
The hotel is worthy for the money paid. Clean and good rooms, if you don’t care about the cementera view is Ok. Only complaint is about hotels.com, is not properly indicated if the room is with shared bath or not at the moment of booking, for me it was a bit of surprise to have shared bath and not be aware of it till I arrived at the hotel
It was a good price-quality balance. Metro was close enough to walk (800mt), had some dining options around. Breakfast was very good for the price.
The beds are not comf the pillow was like a sheet of paper and ataff not helpfyll
Everything was great
The staff were very pleasant and the area very safe!!!
Enjoyed my stay here. Paid the extra € for the private bathroom, so worth it. Please understand that you have to be okay with a truly European vacation, because the rooms in Europe are small, and so are the bathrooms don’t expect any bigger unless you want to pay thousands!! I feel like a lot of people have very American expectations and way of thinking when staying in hotels on this continent and that’s wrong and doesn’t allow you to enjoy because you want a bigger bed. ANYWAY another plus is it’s near (4-6min walk) an area with restaurants and bakeries in the same area as the tram and a metro station. Good for a quick trip to Paris, and the staff was friendly and to the point. The breakfast was very much worth the €6 I paid for me an my niece, simple but delicious, so very French (the croissants, pain au chocolats and baguettes served were delicious) All in all a very good experience.
Exactly like the description, metro is near and staff is really convenient
Cemetery view and smelly outside washroom for CAD $199.31.
Its a one star hotel so shared bathroom, small room with no ventilation and ac
We stayed for 3 nights in cabrio room and it was decent. There is a walk of 11 minutes to the closest station which makes it inconvenient in night. Bathroom is very very small so dont except much. Housekeeping is there which is a positive.
More accurately would be described as a basic hostel rather than a hotel. Deserving of its one star status. One shared bathroom for a large floor. Bathrooms smelled. Offered the bare minimum and nothing more.
It’s a decent hotel.
We can hear the people walking and talking from the outside of our room. The bed was uncomfortable and our room and washroom are both tiny.
Like a hostel, bit quite comfortable.
Bad customer service
Clean and Comfortable Rooms:
I went to the olympics and it was a very good experience. The bedroom was tidy and clean and so was the bathroom. The location was good and it was easy to got the metro. I think the breakfast could have more options
There was a fire shortly after my arrival. A lot of smoke in rooms and corridors. I was moved to another room but it was effected by smoke. I would like a refund.
Staff and installations are amazing, but there is a lot of noise coming from outside and from the halls, be careful booking because the room offered here doesn’t have a private bathroom and have to pay extra to get a room with private bathroom. Also there was a fire on the roof in the middle of the night and we were evacuated.
The rooms were small and clean, but the pillows were flat and the beds were a bit hard and really close to the ground. Our bathroom was down the hall. It was mostly clean. The only problem we had was the lights kept shutting off on us in the toilet and the shower. It worked for us and we would stay again for a short stay.
Very thing is ok nothing is not bad
The stay we had was okay! The bathroom is way too small and could not even fit one person properly. The beds were uncomfortable and the towels were way too thin. Breakfast was honestly not that great either. Staff was friendly and helped when needed, but I don’t think we would come back to the hotel
Cool experience and close to everything we need. Would definitely stay here again
It was clean , confortable and 13 euros Uber to Eiffel Tower to give an idea of how cheap it was , it was 20 min walk to Port de Ileana where you can take the train - super convenient and spacious - easy check in and check out - will definitely recommend…
No AC in the room despite it being listed in the hotel popular amenities
All good
The hotel room was good, but MAKE SURE you know it is a shared bathroom here. It is not super easy to tell when booking the room. The bathrooms are pretty clean, but typically it is pretty busy.
It was very pleasant stay , looking forward to go back again
The fact that the bathroom is shared with a large group was not clear when booking, so I had to pay extra to get a private restroom which was smaller than the lavatories on an airplane. The location is good if you are comfortable navigating and riding 30 min on the train to the city centre.
Not a hotel. More like a hostel or a dormitory.
Just isn't a good quality in any way. Beds are poor, rooms are poor, bathrooms are poor.
View on cemetery from both windows. But for 1 night alright.
The staff are nice. But the shared toilet are quite smelly and limited.
Wish we had a room with a bathroom.
Great place for a night stay bed are tiny though. But it’s a budget place so it’s great for the price.
Very nice for the price!
Value for money. Best services.
Clean comfortable stay. The bed was pretty hard, but that was great for my back, so a plus for me, otherwise do with this info what you will. The location is a bit tricky - a bit of a walk from main transport, but you get to experience walking about the city which is nice. Great neighbourhood. My window view was a massive graveyard which was, admittedly, very spooky so keep that in mind if you're a scaredy cat like me lolol
Traffic annoying. Staff friendly. Bathrooms weird and poor quality
I really like staying at F1 Paris hotel
Convenient, 5-10min from metro
Clean place, metro is <10min walk away. Shared bathroom was not an issue for me, the only thing to note is that the hotel is beside a busy highway so do not expect total serenity. Breakfast is all carbs (bread, cereal, coffee, juice)
What this hotel doesn't say, it's a hostel style. You have barely any room to move. Nowhere to hang your clothes. You can even clean your teeth while sat on the toilet it's that small. The beds are extremely hard and the sheets barley fit the bed. Every time you move it's moves with you. We also had the cleaner knocking on the door the day we were leaving telling us to get out before the checkout time. Also we wasn't informed that there was building work being done on the hotel. We was woke up one morning with a builder at the window banging.
