Reviewed Sep 17, 2026We loved the location and walkability to the ferry and market. The room was a good size and bathroom very functional. The balcony with seating was good. The breakfast area is beautiful.
We seem to have been missing some seating (couch) in the living space. The staff at reception are limited and don't speak English well. They charge hotel guests to use the patio sundeck to go to the sea 👎

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Frukosten var ok. Inte som nordeuropeisk standard men jag hade en bra bild av vad jag skulle få. Utsikten från rummet var enastående, underart vacker. Vietri Sul Mare är en liten fin Italiensk by som inte svämmar över av turister utanför Italien. Keramik finns överallt i denna by, verkligen överallt. Byn ligger kuperad med ett väsentligt avstånd i höjd mellan "marknadsgatan" och torget vid havet.
Egentligen bara småsaker. Som resenär idag har man nästan alltid en mobil med sig som behöver laddas. Det finns begränsat med eluttag i rummet och inga vid sängen, så ta med en skarvsladd (sådan har jag haft som stående punkt på packlistan de senaste 30 åren).

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The setting in this hotel is amazing, you are sitting on the sea, left balcony door open and slept listening to the waves. Staff are so lovely, nice breakfast, short walk to beach (public one) there is a solarium at the hotel but you must pay daily for this. Really enjoyed our stay, Verti is a beautiful village it's a bit of a walk up hill, lovely restaurants and atmosphere there. Take the coast drive from Sorrento if you are travelling to the Amalfi views are spectacular, roads very narrow though !
Paying for solarium or access to the sea for a swim, and having to pay for the use of beach towels

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026This is a lovely hotel on the Amalfi coast. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. It does seem to be a hotel aimed at couples rather than families. Our room wasn’t particularly modern but it was clean and had a balcony with a great view. They do advertise that they have a ‘private beach’. Innocently I thought this was included in the room price. It is actually an additional 15 euros EACH per day (20 euros at weekend). Although this is cheap compared to other beach areas it’s rather a lot when you haven’t budgeted for it! There is a public/free beach area down by the ferry terminal. It’s a bit of a squash but perfectly fine for kids. Restaurants are about a 15 minute walk into town, uphill. Buses don’t seem to run in the evenings - so if you have mobility/health concerns you need to take this into consideration.

Salle de bains petite, pas de rangement prévu pour poser des affaires de toilette. Murs avec des traces , besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement. Sur 6 nuits passées, il y a eu 3 nuits avec des nuisances sonores car un club de plage proche de l'hôtel, organisait des soirées, donc musique très forte.

ho pagato per vista mare, ma mi hanno dato una camera vista parziale, con il rumore di un condizionatore d'aria di fronte al balconcino. mi hanno detto che avevano solo questo. credo che con booking perdo di credibilità. la prossima volta prenoto direttamente con l'hotel come mi hanno consigliato di fare. dimenticavo mi devo ritenere fortunato che ho trovato posto nel parcheggio del hotel ma gia' mi avevano avvisato che dovevo pagare un extra di 30 euro se i posti erano tutti occupati. beh allora perche' scrivere parcheggio? se invece volevo fare un bagno hanno realizzato una piattaforma

Om bij het hotel te komen, moet er erg veel trappen op/af. Er gaat geen autoweg heen, dus je moet echt wel fit zijn. Wees daar van bewust!

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026This hotel is not a 4 ⭐️ and should be listed as a 3. The hotel is very tired and needs renovations. There is not enough privacy between neighbouring balconies which makes you conscious when stepping out. The privacy screens are totally see through. We stayed in a deluxe double room with sea view. It’s was not deluxe, the mattress was very hard and gave me back ache. The overall room cleanliness was ok. I slid my suitcase under the bed to put it out of the way but when I retrieved it, it pulled out masses of dust. It’s not difficult to hoover under the bed once per week but it was clear this was months and months of dust, hair and lint buildup. Breakfast was ok if you like cakes, pastries, yogurt or dried fruit early morning. The cooked food wasn’t very pleasant and I wished I’d of not paid extra for it. There is a couple cafes across from the main beach that serve better breakfast. As for the beach, it’s expensive to rent loungers and umbrellas. The beach vendors won’t let you on the beach without paying for a lounger per person at least. This can cost €25-30 on weekends and €20-25 weekdays. Umbrellas are extra on top so expect to pay €60-70 for 2 people. This being said, the Hotel charges for using their sun deck. This is disappointing as the Hotel should not be charging extra for something poorly maintained. Access to the ocean from the hotel is via the sun deck so automatically charged per person. Heads up, the sun deck is accessible via the use of your key card. Once you swipe to enter it automatically charges the room per person even if only 1 person uses it. I asked management if I could just go for a swim via the deck (didn’t need loungers or umbrellas) and I was told this was not possible. SCAM! The ocean is a free gift and not owned by the hotel 😡 Overall the hotel is an expensive mess using outdated photos for advertisement. There are better hotels in the area for the same rate.

Hotelska plaža z ležalniki in senčniki je na izjemni lokaciji.Res, da je plačljiva 20 evrov po osebi, vendar zmoti me to, da je odprta le od 9-17 popoldan. Zaradi hude vročine bi jo izkoristili zgodaj zjutraj in ravno po peti uri, ko pade senca, ter bi jo uporabljali do sončnega zahoda.

Hauseigener Meerzugang war noch nicht offen. Aufgrund von Veranstaltungen war es laut bis in die Nacht (kommt nur an einzelnen Tagen vor).

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026What a view! Besides a clean and comfortable room, we enjoyed looking out at the beautiful coastline! The hotel staff were helpful and polite, giving us good suggestions when we asked. It is a short walk down the hill to a beach and small businesses but our favorite locations were a short walk up the hill (along a narrow road) to the historic downtown of Vietri Sul Mare and Torre Crestorella (a private beach we enjoyed). We also appreciated the hotel’s onsite parking for our rental car.
The breakfast was not the best, but the patio we ate on had great views.

Fatalny stan higieniczny: Łazienka była brudna, zaniedbana i pozostawała poza wszelkimi standardami sanitarnymi. Brak izolacji akustycznej i hałas: Ściany pokoju nie zapewniały żadnej prywatności (pełna słyszalność sąsiadów). Organizacja głośnych imprez rodzinnych przez hotel całkowicie uniemożliwiła wypoczynek. Ukryty remont w sezonie: Hotel zataił informację o remoncie tarasu przy wodzie. Kluczowa atrakcja w sezonie urlopowym była całkowicie zamknięta. Brak bezpiecznego dostępu do plaży: Jedyną opcją dotarcia do plaży była około kilometrowa trasa ruchliwą drogą współdzieloną z samochodami.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Utsikten var fantastisk! Vi hade en stor balkong med en underbar utsikt över havet, vilket var det absolut bästa med hotellet. Personalen i receptionen på dagtid, både kvinnan och mannen som arbetade där, var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Tyvärr pratade personalen som arbetade efter kl. 22.00 endast italienska, vilket gjorde det svårare att få hjälp vid behov. Det fanns gratis parkering på hotellet vilket var jätte positivt för oss då vi hade bil.
Vårt rum låg i källarplan bakom en säkerhetsdörr, vilket gjorde att det inte kändes lika trivsamt som vi hade hoppats. Det som påverkade vår vistelse mest var dock upplevelsen vid frukosten. En av de manliga medarbetarna gav tyvärr ett ganska ointresserat och nonchalant intryck. Han hälsade sällan på gästerna och upplevdes inte som särskilt tillmötesgående. Ett vänligare och mer engagerat bemötande hade gjort stor skillnad för helhetsupplevelsen.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026La vista del mare dal balcone della camera eccezionale , dava direttamente a picco sul mare , lo staff gentilissimo , anche per la mia intolleranza al lattosio e al glutine sono stata molto soddisfatta, la posizione dell albergo ottima a pochi minuti dal centro e dagli stabilimenti balneari .la vista dal ristorante ,dalla camera ti lasciano senza fiato .camere pulite e rifatte e cambio asciugamani ogni giorno .

The shower was quite small, but probably all that could fit it the space available. It was nice and clean, as was the rest of the room.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Breakfast is very italian with lots of delicious bakery, great coffee and of course lots of cheese, salamies and dryed ham. And a perfekt view over the Amalfi coast. Rooms are rather small but all with sea view and a big balcony.
Do not go there, or else where along the Amalfi coast with an over sized SUV. Roads are narrow! Fiat 500 is perfect!

Openslaande deuren naar het balkon voorzien van een zitje. Hotel ligt direct aan zee, met fraai uitzicht vanuit de kamer/balkon. In ons geval richting de haven van Salerno met al het uitgaande en binnenkomende scheepvaartverkeer. Leuk om te zien. Gratis parkeren op straat voor het hotel, wat een unicum is aan de Amalfi-kust! Ook goede ligging om Vietri weer te verlaten richting Salerno of Napels.
Het hele hotel ademde een sfeer van voorbije tijden. Ik ging zo terug naar de jaren 1970/1980. Ook het restaurant/ontbijtruimte wekte de indruk alsof de tijd had stilgestaan. Zelfs de gespeelde achtergrondmuziek daar was uit die tijd! Ik vond het grappig om te ervaren (terug naar de vakanties in mijn jeugd met mijn ouders), maar kan mij voorstellen dat jongere bezoekers dit minder kunnen waarderen. Hotel was verder wel goed onderhouden (binnen en buiten netjes in de verf en zo) en schoon, dus er wordt nog wel degelijk in geïnvesteerd, het was meer de aanblik an sich.

Meu quarto tinha uma vista belíssima, com varanda debruçada sobre o mar, mas para chegar ao centrinho da cidade à pé, tem uma boa distância, com muita subida. O estacionamento funcionou muito bem; parqueamos o carro num tipo de terraço do hotel.
Na minha opinião, este não é um hotel 4 estrelas. O staff é despreparado. Café da manhã precário, Nós tínhamos ganho uma garrafa de vinho de um hotel-vinícola que ficamos antes de Vietri e pedimos ao restaurante para abrir o vinho para tomarmos na varanda à tarde. Abriram a garrafa com má vontade e se recusaram a nos emprestar quatro taças de vinho ou mesmo copos de vidro. Tomamos nosso vinho em copos plásticos que estavam no quarto. Uma grosseria,
