It is near to kinabalu park. The room is clean and tidy.

The soundproofing is poor. We got awaken by the next door neighbour in the middle of night.

Les chambres sont basiques, pas d'isolation et sales. Salle de bain avec équipement vieux et casses, pas d'eau chaude. Pas des photos des salles de bain sur le site car vraiment pas sympa. Pas d'espaces communs

We stayed in the villa for only one night, the view is beautiful, the villa clean and spacious, we would book this place again. The resident cats are very cute and friendly. No fans or air-con but the cool mountain air kept it comfortable.

The parking is a bit tricky as we were parked in by another car in the morning and had to reverse up a very steep driveway as we left to see sunrise.

Amazing, warm staff. Spacious and tidy room with a lush view. Clean sheets and pillow. Massive bathroom. Heater - hot shower available. Towel provided during your stay. Walking distance to Panataran Restaurant, about 5 mins (or less). Walking distance to Kinabalu Park HQ, about 10 mins walk (or less).

Steep entryway to the accommodation might not be suitable for everyone. However, if you're fit and healthy and don't mind a little challenge, this shouldn't bother you.

Ideally located for Mt Kinabalu. 5 minute walk from Mt Kinabalu HQ. Nice rustic feel with lovely verandas in a picturesque setting and with 2 restaurants nearby (4 minutes walk) Expect steep inclines. Friendly staff kind enough to store our luggage while we went on the climb.

Must give a room deposit in cash. Nearest ATM is 7 km away. But you can get there by taxi and back for a few ringits.

L’hôtel est bien situé, très près du parc national. La vue depuis les chambres est très agréable. La place est entourée de verdure.

Beaucoup d’araignées partout. Les murs des chambres sont très minces et vous devrez peut-être taper plus ou moins gentiment dans les murs pour faire comprendre à vos voisins irrespectueux qu’ils ne sont pas seuls. Heureusement, ce code transcende les cultures et les gens comprennent.

Op wandelafstand van het park en 2 restaurants in de buurt Mooie kamer met prachtig uitzicht en ruim terras. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. De oprit is heel stijl maar je kunt ook bovenaan parkeren.

De muren zijn heel dun dus je moer wel geluk hebben om met je buren

Veey basic yet clean accomodation that was 5 minute walk from mount Kinabalu park so that was super convenient.

There were no shared kitchen facilities when it stated on booking.com that there were. Tried to charge us extra when I'd paid in full with booking.com & no additional extra charges were showing. TV didn't work but there were a couple of dvds to watch. Loads of cats...

The location is great - walking distance from 2 local restaurants, Mt Kinabalu Park entry and bus stops. The grounds of JResidence are lovely and the view is amazing.

We had no hot water, which was a real downer after mountain climbing. The rooms a very basic, and be prepared for the steep driveway when you are sore and tired!

Close to park entrance. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Beautiful garden and forested surroundings. Peaceful at night. Barbecue facilities and grids were clean on a deck with tables and chairs. Toilet and shower was ok.

The animals were pestering us . Many cats and dogs that looked like they were infectious. Other guests were also complaining about the animals being a nuisance. The staff were not friendly at all.

Very peaceful and comfortable place

Location was perfect for hiking in the national park a world heritage site. Rooms pretty basic and nowhere to buy food or restaurant on site. Location made up for all of this as 20 min walk from park entrance.

They give us three candles

When we arrived, there dont have any electric. This is an accident. And they give us three candle as light. When we about to sleep, we found that the bed is stinky. I think they dont even change the bed sheet. The whole bed is super disgusting and smelly. I CAN UNDERSTAND THEY DONT HAVE ELECTRIC, BUT THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THEIR BEDSHEET AT ALL. When we go to the reception there have no one there can help us... We really dont satisfied with this experience. All of us cant sleep for the whole night, and we need to hike mount kk at the next day. I will say if can, I dont even want to give one star to this experience

Very near Gunung Kinabalu National Park. Everything is okay, but might have bugs when the sliding door is opened for ventilation.

My 2nd time staying here before & after our Mt.Kinabalu climb. Its very near to Kinabalu Park & we love this place. Hope to stay here again for our 3rd climb💪

就在登山口下方，走路約五分鐘，早上出發登山非常方便。

從房間走到出口需要經過很長一段陡坡，手提行李會很不方便。浴室熱水出水量小，洗澡會冷。

The location is excellent, within walking distance of Mount Kinabalu Park. There are two restaurants nearby — one directly across from the park closes at 7:00 PM, and there's a Chinese restaurant ahead that serves very delicious food but closes at 4:00 PM. A small issue occurred upon check-in, but the hotel resolved it very well. The weather at Mount Kinabalu is generally cool, so taking an afternoon shower isn't cold at all. The Wi-Fi speed is good, and the hotel is surrounded by a quiet, elegant environment with a few lovely little cats. You can also spot several bird species commonly seen in Mount Kinabalu — I Chestnut hooded laughingthrush / Chestnut crested yuhina /Little cuckoo dove../ Black capped white eye / I managed to photograph many of them right at the hotel . The room is very clean. The staff's service attitude is also very good. We stayed 4 nights.

When we were there , the WiFi router is broken and no Internet connection during our stay. Beside , the water for shower is not hot enough

Værelserne var ikke lydisoleret så man kunne høre alt hvad der foregik på den anden side af vægen. Elkedel starter, plugin lyd til opladning af telefon og stemmer lige så tydeligt.

WiFi connection is poor. When there are too many guests connecting to hotel’s WIFI, connection to Internet will fail.

The staff were all friendly.

When it rained, it was so cold, the blanket was soggy, and it was cold even when I turned on the water heater, so it was hard to wash my hair and I caught a cold because I didn't have a dryer. I couldn't sleep well because I could hear the sound of talking in the next room. The location was close to the entrance to Kinabalu Park and had a nice view, but it would be the same everywhere around.

В номере не хватает тумбочки у кровати и стула. А так всё хорошо.

Cool and quiet

I am living in room 1A , it has a cat come inside every night , it very cute.

The restaurant nearby is closed early , around 7-8pm to close , so remember eat the dinner earlier.

Tolle Lage direkt am Eingang des Nationalparks . Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen. Schöne Gartenanlage mit toller Aussicht.

Alles sehr einfach gehalten und schon in die Jahre gekommen. Keinerlei Komfort im Bad, so fehlen Ablageflächen und es gibt keine Trennung von Dusche und Toilette. Die Unterkünfte sind sehr hellhörig, so dass man unweigerlich von seinen Nachbarn aufgeweckt wird.

The view from the garden. They were understanding when we arrived late due to driving conditions.

Misleading advert. Best described as a damp cabin, certainly not a "superior twin". Very damp, run down. We could see straight through the floorboards to the soil below. Mouldy curtains. Shower room was a concrete add on, not even painted. I asked politely if they had a less damp/better room and was told they were fully booked - this was a lie as at least two other rooms were made up and not occupied until we left at 8 the following morning. Avoid.

The reception are supposed to be a bit more closer to the room that people stayed in since most of the people are from gunung kinabalu trip,heavy and sore legs and need to climb the stairs again right after checking out ouch or just make the receptionist be at the gate right before people park below but overall its okay

Great location - it's an easy walk to the park headquarters and there are superb views of the valley from the guesthouse. There's no restaurant so without a car you'd be limited to the very fine Tahubang restaurant opposite the park gate for food (Box Hotel has a restaurant but we didn't try it). Friendly staff and spacious rooms with comfy beds.

The drive is VERY steep - it's a bit of a nerve test driving up and down it!
