The privacy of the place everything was perfect

The facility was in an excellent condition, everything worked, clean and neat, good interior decoration

There was no Ceylon tea, no tea pot, no soap or shampoo single ply toilet paper, electric blanket The advertisement of the cottage is misleading: The photo of the website is not of the cottage, but of the owner's house. The description mentioned a view of the mountain; not true from the cottage.

Very comfortable.

On arrival we were greeted by our friendly host, Gert. We parked in the street as the area is regarded as safe. There is an option of parking inside of the motorised car gate right at the front door, but that would entail moving aside a table and chairs from the outdoor area. The cottage is completely private, neat and clean. Although compact, the space is well utilised, including a tv with all the channels. The kitchenette is well equipped. With a comfortable large bed and a modern bathroom, this well-priced accommodation is ideal for a short stopover.

No complaints. The cottage is fine for few nights, but for a longer stay the space is a bit cramped.

A great apartment for a comfortable stay in Montagu.

Very quiet location away from the town centre but walkable. Very clean and comfortable accommodation which was well equipped. We received a very friendly welcome and would recommend this accommodation

The aircon is located in the lounge/kitchen area so it was a bit warmer in the bedroom for sleeping

Loved everything. A warm reception from the Owners. I arrived early and they tried their best to allow me to check-in sooner. Although we didn't spend much time at the place as my family was at Avalon Springs & that's where we spent most our time. The accommodation had all the essentials. Everything was comfortable. Loved the little Chocs left on the bedside table. The Aircon, a Big Plus! Bed was absolutely comfortable.

Although the area was quite safe, I didn't like the idea of parking my vehicle outside. It would've been nice having a Splash pool especially for those Hot days!

Very nice place to stay for one night

We were greeted by Gert, a very friendly man who by the way also got the place ready earlier for us on request. We loved the little touches like the chockies on the bed and flower floating in the toilet. As well as the rusks and cereal accompanied by tea, coffee and sugar... milk in the fridge too 😋 Everything was perfect. For our three day stay, we needed very little. The cottage is situated close to central Montagu and five minutes drive from avalon. Great value for money. Definitely worth it... I'd recommend it anytime 😊

Can't think of anything.

The name appeared under a search for accommodation in Somerset West even though it's based in Montagu. As a result, I was stranded and the owner/manager couldn't care less and was rude. The refund policy needs to be reviewed, the owner refused to refund even for 1 night and kept the full amount even though she admitted to most people making the same mistake- essentially benefits from the error. The place is more than 200km from Somerset West - the location I typed in.

The fact that the room was outside,privacy tranquility,had all the utensils needed.Place is close to CBD

Space around the bed is very narrow. Small coffee table would be nice as eating countertop is very high and already full with microwave and kettle.

Only booked at 20:30 during loadshedding but hosts graciously welcomed me and my bike, which I was able to park under cover on the porch - very comfortable room..

Nothing, but situated on the outskirts of town so too far to walk home after a bottle of wine in the downtown area..

It feels like entering a 5-star hotel. Attention to detail so enjoyable. Decor absolutely beautiful. Clean, comfortable and just plain gorgeous

Very small bedroom . Half of shower door missing - not possible to fix until builders’ holidays conclude, but this should have been advised to us prior to arrival. Limited kitchen equipment, no tumblers, just 2 wine glasses.

It’s nice and peaceful and close to shops. Safe area.
