Gia Thanh Phu Quoc Guest House

Great location, clean rooms with Air conditioning. The family that runs the place makes your stay comfortable.

Nothing.

Excellent accueil, personnel très sympathique. Endroit paisible, convivial, discret On s'y sent bien . J'y ai passé 3 semaines...et j'y serai bien restée... Je conseille cet endroit

Désolée....j'ai tout apprécié !

We extended our stay here totalling 3 nights. Clean, good wifi. Less than 3 minutes walk to the busy main road. Walking distance to town centre and night market. Main road has plenty of eateries. There's a pizza and drinks outlet downstairs. Daily house keeping and change of towels. And provision of 2 bottles of daily drinking water. The best breakfast stall in town just 3 doors to the left of this hotel. Serving noodles, banh mi with sardines and sunshine up eggs. The best noodle in Phu Quoc, very delicious. Best coffee too, local price. Opens 5.00am to 10.00pm.

Very clean and strong wifi. Near the busy main road within walking distance to town centre and night market. Eateries all around within walking distance. There's a pizza and drinks outlet downstairs. Daily house keeping and change of towels. And provision of 2 bottles of daily drinking water. The best breakfast in town just 3 doors to the left of this hotel. Serving banh mi with sardines, sunshine up eggs. Must try the noodle here too, very delicious. Best coffee too, local price. Opens 5.00am to 10.00pm.

Really enjoyed my stay here, I stayed for about 10 nights in total and for the price, I found this very good value for money. Reception were friendly and laundry service was good. Would stay again :)

No issues

Great location, clean and well maintained room, good water pressure

There were some good moments but generally I felt kind of unwelcome by the lady who works there. Wifi was a little sporadic, and the room was a little spartan - felt like

Helpful staff, very clean, near to the beach, 10 min walking. Good value for money. They have motorbike rental and also laundry services.

Room is basic, but its ok for the price you get.

Very nice and helpful people! Great location away from the busy main road. Many restaurants nearby, three minutes walk to the main road and five minutes walk to the beach. Only paid 3.78 million VND for 12 nights. The host even drove us to the airport for just 150'000 VND. Highly recommended!

Great location, the room was nice and it is affordable.

The owner was so grumpy every time we interacted with her, the room was full of ants, and for the first half of our stay we were placed in a worse room than the one we booked with no explanation apart from that our room wasn’t ready.

VERY RELAXED ENVIRONMENT AND KIND OWNERS.

I don't understand how this place doesn't have recent reviews. The place and the room are super clean, the family is super helpful. A really great find. I booked it for one day and extended it for two more weeks. I highly recommend it.

Not to say that there is nothing, there are some improvements that can be made, such as a place to put soap and shampoo, a shower stall in the bathroom, the bed, although I like it, is a little hard for many people. Blackout curtains would also be benefits. But as I said, for the price and comfort it was a great find, all of this becomes irrelevant.

One of the best rooms and hotels on my trip

sometimes only lukewarm water (kind of normal in southeast asia, probably solar heated)

Very nice and cozy room .the personnel was amazing and very friendly. Super clean and quite .Situated in the place to be in the island

Nothing to say

The accommodation was adequate for our needs.

The bed mattress was too hard.

Very clean and neat rooms. Good price for a private room.

It was hard to communicate in English. They were not very friendly/welcoming when we checked in or out.

very helpful staff, clean and comfortable

no pool

Staff lovely, quiet location off busy road with plenty of amenities. Scooter hire good price. Rooms spotless.

Bed-hardest bed I have ever slept on. No bedside or dimmer lights, just full on halogens. Smoking allowed in rooms.

Everything, very accommodating in all aspects.

The restaurant has now closed which is a shame.

+ good price to quality ratio + clean room, towels and bedsheets + everyday cleaning + kettle, tea and couple bottles of water available + fridge in the room + quite good wifi (but weak in the evenings) + good air conditioner + quiet neighborhood (further away from the main road)

- staff doesn't speak English at all - no elevator in the hotel - small room - no restaurant (even though there was menu in the room)

Great and quiet location but near everything. Lovely staff.

The bed was too hard.

Was really happy with this family run guest house that i stayed in for my last night in Phu Quoc before flying out. Incredibly helpful family members, room was impeccably clean (although towels and sheets although perfectly laundered, both had few wear-n-tear stains). Bathroom was spotless (which made me so happy), and hot water and shower worked perfectly. WiFi worked very well also so managed to get a lot of work done. Location is excellent, 5 min walk to main road with shops , grocery, cafes. The beach is about 10 mins walk. Everything is nearby. Had several really nice meals at the guesthouse cafe which was also very good value. I noticed many tourists from other hotels on the row coming over to eat daily. If you are out all day and need a simple well run clean safe place to stay, this is it. For the price, i was incredibly happy and surprised, it's great value. They helped arrange my taxi when i left. Appreciate the great service. Thanks to the owners for excellent stay!

Generally this hotel is good enough for the price paid, only little not so well is that they don't have twin beds, they only have two double beds room of family room for nearly double price....Room is clean and service is good

Stayed in Gia Thanh for 2 nights. The room and bathroom were both spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the air con was silent which made for a couple of nights pleasant sleeping. It is on one of the roads off the msin street with bars and restaurants so very handy for going out. The breakfast was really good with a large and varied menu of local and western options and cooked to order.

It's a shame as the staff is super nice, breakfast and bar is great, but the beds are the least comfortable we had, so hard it felt like we were sleeping on wood! On top, doors are not sound-proof and everybody slams them (just wood against wood with no silencers), we heard baby crying as if they were next to us. We couldn't get good sleep and felt tired for the whole 5 days. Therefore, I cannot recommend. Also, it says room cleaning is done everyday but we had cleaning only 3 days out of 5. Finally, nowhere was a sign that water provided was not free, even though it was cheap it is not good practice to suddenly charge for it at checkout.

Was traveling as a back packer and the price is very fair to the service and accommodation

Rantaan 10 min kävely,saaren "keskukseen" 15 min kävely.Hotelli,henkilökunta,siisteys,huoneet kaikki huippuluokkaa.Runsaan vuoden vanha rakennus.Aivan loistava.

This is a great little budget hotel.... the family who run it are gorgeous, nice to see the children running around too. We had most of our meals at the Acerola restaurant and they were some of the best we have had in Vietnam. Try not to get ground floor as there are no windows.

Vary sheep and top cleanliness. Me and wifey spent 7vral Daisy's here. Top quality host.

Our stay at Gia Thanh was amazing. It is a family run guesthouse and each member was lovely and incredibly helpful. THey made us feel right at home, and we loved getting to know them better. The guesthouse is paved with marble which was beautiful. The room was brightly lit and spacious with great amenities

I enjoyed my stay enormously. The rooms where spotless and the staff very friendly but only one person spoke English. In walking distance of the beach and various places to eat. In walking distance of the night market for more food stalls.

Helt nytt hotell.

What a beautiful stay! With the low price we were not expecting the hotel to be that nice! The whole family was so lovely, and very helpful with us. The cheapest rooms were big, clean and full of light. It is also located in a calm neighbourhood but close to the beach (5min by walk) I would certainly recommend it to thoses who needs calm and a natural environment!
