Phangan Beach Resort

Vi havde 8 overnatninger på Phangang Beach Resort. Personale var super søde, hjælpsomme. Den ene ejer gik rundt hver dag for at høre hvordan vi havde det, kom med gode råd da vi lejede en scooter. Mimi som er tjener er utrolig dygtig, hun kunne huske os, lavede sjov og var meget servicemindet. Alle var søde og smilende. Vi boede i et hus ned til stranden, stranden blev hver morgen fejret, så den var meget lækker.

Der var først morgenmad kl. 9 og man ventede lang tid på at få maden. Så inden man havde fået morgenmad, så var kl. over 10. Det var lige meget hvad vi bestilte, så tog det min. 45 minutter.

Die Unterkunft ist süss, die Bungalows sind kompakt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lage ist von der Hauptstrasse ca 3min mit dem Roller entfernt, zu Fuss sind es etwa 10-15min. Man hat viele Restaurants in der Nähe und einen Markt. Den Roller haben wir beim Hotel gemietet, sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Badezimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Kopfkissen sind etwas hart. Der Strand war bei Ebbe nicht schön zum baden, da aber Koh Phangan viele tolle Strände hat ist dies weniger schlimm.

We stayed at the only villa, so our accommodations were above average; therefore, we cannot rate the stay in the cottages. Our experience was excellent. The food was excellent, the beach outstanding and as peaceful as one can imagine. The staff is nice.

Only to remark the small drain in the bathroom (after 2 showers, the bathroom floods), and the cockroach that visited us in the living room on one night.

Die Anlage liegt direkt an einem Traumstrand. Es sind genug Liegen und Hängematten für die Gäste vorhanden. Das Restaurant und die Bar sind direkt am Wasser. Die Ambiente beim Frühstück oder Abendessen ist einfach unschlagbar. Das Service-Team ist jung, super service-orientiert und immer gut gelaunt. Das Essen und die Drinks haben uns stets super geschmeckt. Die Anlage ist sehr schön gepflegt und die Bungalows gemütlich. Pluspunkt für Kitesurfer: Ein paar Hundertmeter von der Anlage entfernt findet ihr eine Kite-Station mit Leihmaterial.

Einzige Kritik (deshalb der Punkte-Abzug): Das Badezimmer in unserem Bungalow war nicht so toll. Die Klimaanlage hat da nicht funktioniert, weil es eine Art Anbau ist, so dass die Temperatur vermutlich immer um 30 Grad darin war und die Dusche war viel zu nah am WC, so dass alles nach dem Duschen nass war. Allerdings haben wir erfahren, dass diese Bungalows noch renoviert werden. Somit sollte das Problem demnächst behoben werden.

Schreiben Wir hatten als Familie zwei Wooden Bungalows gemietet. Ich war bisher noch in keinem Resort, das so schön angelegt war. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Anfang des Jahres 2026 haben zwei Deutsche das Resort übernommen. Daher können die älteren Rezensionen mit den negativen Bewertungen bezüglich des Umgangs mit Kritik meiner Meinung nach ignoriert werden. Die neuen Eigentümer planen nach eigenen Angaben noch sehr viel in die Anlage zu investieren. Auch wenn nicht immer alles perfekt klappt – bei uns wurde beispielsweise zweimal eine Bestellung im Restaurant vergessen – ist das Personal äußerst bemüht, gut gelaunt und versucht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. So wurde uns sogar ein Transport auf Koh Samui vom Fährterminal zu unserem nächsten Hotel organisiert – obwohl es den Eigentümern ja eigentlich egal sein könnte, wie wir nach unserem Aufenthalt weiterreisen. Das Folgehotel, bei dem ich zuerst angefragt hatte, war hingegen nicht bereit, einen Transport zu organisieren. Unsere Bungalows waren sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und lagen direkt am Strand. Sie waren einfach heimelig und hatten jeweils eine kleine Veranda davor. Die Speisen und Getränke sind vielleicht nicht die günstigsten in der Gegend, dafür aber sehr lecker und auch optisch wirklich ansprechend zubereitet. Was mir persönlich ebenfalls sehr wichtig ist: Die Besitzer haben in der gesamten Anlage auf warmweißes Licht gesetzt, was in Thailand nicht unbedingt üblich ist. Dadurch wirkt auch nachts alles gemütlich und nicht wie ein Operationssaal. Auch die Zusammenarbeit mit der Scooter-Vermietung scheint problemlos zu funktionieren. Wir haben für fünf Tage einen Anbieter gewählt, der ein Deposit und keinen Reisepass als Sicherheit verlangt. Das Deposit war zwar relativ hoch, aber ansonsten lief alles völlig problemlos. Bei der Rückgabe wurde lediglich kontrolliert, ob wir den Scooter vollgetankt hatten. Kurz gesagt: Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!! Reisezeit: Mitte August 2026

Ein paar kleine Punkte gibt es dennoch, die man der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnen sollte: Das Badezimmer: Die Badezimmer in den Bungalows sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, allerdings waren sie bei uns immer sauber. Laut Angaben der Betreiber sollen die Badezimmer in den nächsten zwei Jahren komplett neu gebaut bzw. renoviert werden. Das Meer und der Strand: Bei Ebbe verschwindet das Meer beinahe vollständig. Der Strand fällt sehr flach ab, sodass der Bereich auch bei Flut eher zum Sitzen und Entspannen im Wasser als zum Schwimmen geeignet ist. Dafür kann das Resort natürlich nichts – dennoch finde ich diese Information für zukünftige Gäste nicht ganz unwichtig. Der Pool: Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe. Allerdings scheinen Pumpe und Skimmer dafür etwas klein dimensioniert zu sein. Auch die Pooldusche könnte etwas besser von der umgebenden Pflanzenwelt freigehalten werden. Die Klimaanlage: Die Klimaanlage in unserem Bungalow B1 hat ihre besten Jahre ebenfalls schon hinter sich. Allerdings steht auch dieser Punkt laut den Betreibern bereits auf der To-do-Liste.

Nous avions un bungalow avec vue partielle mer et nous avons vraiment apprécié. Le bungalow est basique mais comfortable. La piscine est agréable pour se rafraichir. Le bar/restaurant est directement sur la plage et le personnel est vraiment top. Serviable, sympathique et très souriant (ce qui nous a manqué à Koh Samui) et nous y avons très bien mangé. Un petit havre de paix Prévoir un scooter pour vos déplacement comme partout sur l'ile.

La taille des chambres et leur configuration : salle de bain très petite et pas du tout facile d’accès.

Struttura completa di tutto, piscina, bar, ristorante, spiaggia. Personale molto accogliente e gentile, dalla reception al personale bar e ristorante. Camere pulite e ordinate, cibo al ristorante di buona qualità e varietà.

Forse il bagno della Garden room è un pochino sacrificato..spazi molto piccoli, anche se funzionali…

De ligging van de accommodatie direct aan het strand is erg fijn. Er zijn maar een past huisjes met direct zicht op het strand. Ons huisje lag iets verder van het strand. Huisje zelf is knus en klein. Je moet voor de douche en de badkamer een trapje af. Douche is overigens prima net als de bedden. Het restaurant is top! Heel goed eten! Voor het ontbijt moet je betalen en wat geduld hebben. Van 17.00-19.00 u is er happy hour. Bar sluit om 23.00 u waarbij je niet weggekeken wordt. De wifi is prima! Ik raad aan om bij de accommodatie zelf een scooter ter huren. De eigenaren hebben een kaart in google maps aangemaakt met hun aanbevelingen. Ook op het einde een attent bericht over de betaling en of er een (betaalde) transfer nodig is.

Ik zou dit zakelijk en duidelijk formuleren, zodat het kritisch is zonder onnodig scherp over te komen: Wat ons minder beviel, was dat we bij aankomst werden verrast met een borg van 500 baht per kamer per dag. Deze borg wordt uiteindelijk wel verrekend met de rekening van het restaurant, maar het was prettig geweest als dit vooraf duidelijk was gecommuniceerd. Daarnaast wordt er een toeslag van 5% gerekend wanneer je met creditcard of via IBAN betaalt. Contant betalen is wel mogelijk, maar dat is niet altijd even praktisch. Tijdens onze reis door Thailand hebben we zowel een dergelijke borg als deze betaaltoeslag nergens anders meegemaakt. Voor ons voelde dit daarom niet erg gastvrij, hoewel we er wel bij willen vermelden dat de medewerker achter de receptie gedurende het hele gesprek vriendelijk en correct bleef.

Het is resort is mooi verzorgd, personeel zeer vriendelijk en snelle communicatie met staf. Wij hadden de nieuwste bungalow, deze was lekker ruim en mooi ingericht. Er zijn fijne strandbedjes en de sfeer is heel relaxed.

Weinig waterdruk in de douche. Er was regelmatig een rioollucht buiten bij de bungalow. De zee voor het resort is erg ondiep en je kunt er niet echt zwemmen.

Lovely stay! So relaxing, beach and pool both gorgeous! Hammocks and comfy sofa beds to enjoy. Room was nice - got very hot during day as couldn’t keep aircon on and bathroom was very outdated, it was boiling hot and shower was only cold. Despite bathroom place was stunning! Clean place. Staff were so lovely especially War she was so sweet and friendly, food and drinks were delicious and so reasonably priced! Very quiet and peaceful, beach basically a private one! 10 min drive from ferry, so easy to organise transport. Perfect , would recommend highly!

Lo staff che chiede insistentemente una recensione con menzione del loro nome, probabilmente dovuta a qualche promessa di provvigione, può diventare noioso alla terza volta e lascia intendere che la eccessiva gentilezza abbia un secondo fine. La camera aveva la porta che non chiudeva bene e una ventola aperta in bagno quindi entravano un po’ di insetti.

We endeavoured to book a beachfronted newly renovated beach bungalow, however all full. Had a partial view of sea but unfortunately not updated. Is on there program. Had to step down to very small bathroom.

Zo’n mooie plek! Het personeel is super vriendelijk en maakt een praatje. We hebben ontbeten en gedineerd en alles was even lekker en veel keus. De cocktails waren ook heerlijk.

Want to start on a positive note by giving credit to the owner, Marc. After a mistake by the cleaning team, who overlooked cleaning our room, Marc took charge of the situation with prompt responses and compensated us accordingly. That’s proper management! The chalets are pretty cute. The only downside is the bathrooms. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind. The hotel staff are incredible! Everyone is friendly and supportive. Just be patient because, as everywhere else, things move very slowly, and it can sometimes be difficult to understand them. The food is great, and the view is breathtaking.

Bar and restaurant were very good

Beach and the sea was poor, we watched the cleaner throwing old disgarded trees branches and coconuts into the water directly in front of our beach veiw challet. You cannot swim in the sea as it is far too shallow and actually dirty and stagnent.. we then went to the swimming pool which was nice but crowded.

Ein super schönes und ruhiges Resort mit allem was man braucht um runter zu kommen. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, die einem alle Wünsche möglich machen. Komme gerne wieder!

Het is een kleinschalig resort met super leuke en knusse huisjes gelijk aan het strand en in een prachtige tuin. De douche was heerlijk! Mark, Toby en zijn team zijn super vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar voor een praatje of leuke tips. Het eten en de drankjes zijn erg goed. De hele uitstraling van het resort is gewoon geweldig! Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Wij hadden een huisje welke nog gerenoveerd moest worden. De wifi in het huisje was niet top (op de rest van het park wel) en er was maar één stopcontact in de kamer. Dat was soms een beetje onhandig. En als je weg was, gingen de airco en koelkast uit. Bij terugkomst was de kamer dan erg warm en de drankjes in de koelkast niet koud. Maar ik weet zeker dat dit na de renovatie ook helemaal top voor elkaar is, want Mark en Toby zijn druk bezig om alles nóg mooier te maken.

Unglaublich gemütlich am Strand gelegen. Fühlt sich wie ein kleines Dorf an. Das Personal war super nett und die Beachbar auch Klasse!

Der Pool könnte häufiger von Grünzeug gereinigt werden. Das Bad war wie auf den Fotos zu sehen recht klein und etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Naprosto skvělé ubytování v super lokalitě. Úžasné misto pro relax i zábavu v jednom. Nejvetší plus tohoto ubytování jsou ale lidé, kteří tento resort spravují. Od pana majitele po obsluhu v restauraci i na recepci. Takhle milý tým jsme dlouho nikde nevideli. Pokoje byly ciste a meli jsme tam vse co jsme potrebovali. Pokoje 50 metru od plaze a nektere primo na plazi s vyhledem na more. Moznost pujceni skutru primo v resortu je vyznamnym plusem. Neni nic co bychom vytkli a radi se sem vratime. 100% doporucujeme vsem typum cestovatelu.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel, au calme sur une très jolie plage. Le restaurant est bon et le personnel y est adorable ( mention spéciale pour Mun) Le directeur est présent et à l’écoute

La plomberie est catastrophique! Nous sommes restés 4 nuits et nous n’avons pas eu un seul jour sans un problème de douche( pas de pression, eau sale et le pire, nauséabonde le dernier jour… l’odeur nous est restée sur la peau et dans les cheveux). Le personnel et le directeur sont au courant de cela et certains problèmes sont indépendants de leur volonté mais cela justifierait des prix plus bas que ceux pratiqués! Nous avions demandé à avoir deux chambres à côté (demande faite 4 mois avant notre venue), nous nous avons indiqué à notre arrivée qu’il n’avait pas pu répondre à notre demande. Notre bungalow voisin est resté innocupé 3 des 4 nuits ( il s’agissait de la catégorie en dessous, juste plus petit que le nôtre, ce qui aurait suffi pour nos deux filles, il aurait fallu qu’il nous fasse la proposition à la réservation…) Par ailleurs, nous faisons un périple de plusieurs mois en Asie en famille, c’est le seul hôtel sans savonnette, ni kit brosse à dents, cotons… Ce n’est pas nécessaire mais au prix des chambres, ce serait bienvenue ( c’est un ce jour l’hôtel qui nous a coûté le plus cher…)

Beautiful resort! From the moment I arrived I felt at home! The staff were amazing, the views next level and the beach bungalows were so cute! The food in the restaurant was great , as was the cocktails. I couldn't fault a thing!

We booked the beach room. The view from the room is exceptional and the fact that you wake up, open the door and steps right on the beach is magnificent.

The room is too small. You can live in such room only if you have a very small luggage. It was tiny. The bathroom was smelling and they didn't put tissue in. No amenities provided except for towels and shower gel and shampoo. This is not a resort. It is like a small 2star hotel. The staff were not so friendly and they bring their family at the restaurant. Food at restaurant is limited. There is quite a lot to walk from hotel to main road. Overall, only the view from the room was nice. The rest is not worth it. Not value for money.

It didnt disappoint. Lovely kind friendly staff. The owner was also on hand checking everything was OK. Lovely modern room opening straight onto the beach.. Great AC. Food was excellent, maybe slightly more expensive than some in the town but the quality was worth the bit extra. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

Maybe just the time of year but the sea was not as crystal clear as other beach areas on the island. But did not put us off and I wish we had been able to stay longer.

Es mi segunda vez en este hotel, por lo que he visto ha cambiado de propietario el cual está atento a los huéspedes, y los colaboradores del bar muy bien.

Hice una petición el día de mi llegada a la cual se me dijo que a ser posible se me daría al día siguiente, no volví a recibir noticias de ello. Por otro lado la empresa de alquiler de motos que colabora con el hotel MUY MAL, PIDEN SI O SI EL PASAPORTE PARA ALQUILAR, Y luego te quieren cobrar desperfectos y si no pagas no te dan el pasaporte... Mucho cuidado. No alquilar a esta empresa. Y por último solicité un taxi al hotel para ir al puerto y me dijeron que cobraban por dos personas si o si. Aún siendo uno.

100% recommend staying here. Staff and the owner are so so friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is lovely. They have a pool table and a nice swimming pool and other great amenities. Lots of sun loungers to sit out on at the beach. The place is very aesthetic and a peaceful oasis. Very good location. The rooms are really nice and clean with very good air conditioning. The double bed is huge. We even did our laundry through them and rented a scooter. Amazing accommodation for a very good price. If I ever come back to koh phangan I would stay here again.

We liked being so close to the beach. The staff and owners were friendly and kind. The room was spacious and clean. We ate at the Restaurant which was lovely, right on the beach, quality food. The pool was nice and refreshing. The location was great, a 7-11 just up the road. Money changer close by as well as some excellent local restaurants. Not too far to walk to Phangan markets.

The queen bed. I did request a king bed. Front chairs were uncomfortable and baggage benches would have been great to keep our suitcases off the floor. Other than that everything was perfect.

Cool beach bar

It's important to start with the many things this place gets right. It has, without question, the coldest pool on the beach—a lifesaver in the heat—along with plenty of sunbeds, shady spots, tasty food, and beautiful gardens filled with quirky animal sculptures (the flamingo deserves special recognition as the star attraction). There are lots of places to unwind, whether you prefer a bar stool, a hammock, or simply finding a peaceful corner to relax. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and always seem willing to help, even when they appear to be battling systems that aren't always helping them back. The location is also great, within walking distance of Tiki and Sea Escapes, both of which offer a variety of evening activities.

It's clear the new owners are putting effort into improving the property, and that deserves credit. However, a few operational gremlins still seem to be roaming around. Signing bills each day often felt like a treasure hunt, with incorrect items regularly appearing and staff sometimes struggling to correct them. The billing system seems to have a mind of its own. One suggestion would be to include VAT in the displayed prices. It creates a smoother guest experience and avoids those moments where everyone is staring at the till wondering whether the correct change exists anywhere on the island. The biggest frustration came at checkout. We were informed that the card machine had been out of service for three days, despite receiving a text the evening before explaining reception hours and payment arrangements. A little advance warning would have saved a lot of stress and made departure much smoother. This place has so much going for it: great facilities, lovely grounds, and genuinely friendly staff. Right now, though, it feels a bit like a beautiful hotel that's still working through a few hand over issues. Once these are ironed out I really believe it will be somewhere special.

Chatka bola ozaj krásne, najviac sme si odpočinuli a bolo tam tak krasne aj plaž že sme ani nikam nechceli ist.

Klimatizácia v izbe bolo velmi zle umiestnená. Nakolko je chatka z dreva tak po vypnutí klimatizácie je tam za chvilu horko. Bola umiestnená hore vedla hlavy a nedala sa nastaviť aby na vás nefukala. Takže sme sa bali aby sme neostali chodý. fakt velmi zle vyriešené. No a hlavne čo sa nám nepáčilo boli raňajky. Akože za dve omelety so syrom a dva džusi sme zaplatili 835 THB čo je v prepočte 22e. Ako nehnevajte sa na mňa ale za také peniaze si môžete dať raňajky Talianku vo vatikane. O 150 metrov ponukaju raňajky kde mate porciu raz tak velkú a ovela chutnejsiu za 150 THB. Čo sa týka taxi tak dobre klamu. Je to cca 3 km od prístavu, boli sme 2 osoby a že taxi 150 tbh, ale dolu napísane skoro neviditelne že najnižšia cena za taxi 400 thb. Proste hrozné.

Purtroppo la bassa marea la mattina (fino a dopo pranzo inoltrato) non ha consentito di godersi il mare. Na non è un problema della struttura... Tutto il lato ovest dell'isola era così in questo periodo

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Bungalow direkt am Strand. Durch die große Glasschiebetür konnte man vom Bett aus, direkt auf das Meer schauen. Marc und sein Partner waren immer ansprechbar und hatten uns auch die blödesten Fragen beantwortet und auch sofort Abhilfe geschaffen. Morgens frühe um acht wird schon der Strand gereinigt und der Service geht bis zum Liegestuhl, um einen leckeren Cocktail etc. zu servieren. Vielen Dank an die beiden, die Liebe von Euch liegt in jedem einzelnen Detail 😊

War alles perfekt, ein paar Hacken könnten noch angebracht werden, in Bad und/oder Wohnraum, damit man mal Handtücher oder Klamotten aufhängen könnte. Leider kann man im Meer nicht schwimmen, da es zu flach und auch sehr warm ist. Aber zum genießen reicht es allemal. Ein Roller wäre auch wichtig, es gibt zwar direkt im Phangan Beach ein sehr leckeres Restaurant, und auch am Strand noch 1-2, aber wenn man raus möchte, sollte man sich einen Roller mieten. Das ist ganz einfach und günstig, mit hol-/ und bringservice.

Super nettes Personal in einem sehr gut gepflegten Resort. Wir waren in einem Garten Bungalow und ich fand es viel größer als gedacht. Was ich sehr gut fande, dass man im Resort a la Carte essen konnte und dass man in wenigen Minuten fußläufig an Supermärkten und thailändischen Restaurants ist. WLAN hat auf dem ganzen Gelände problemlos funktioniert!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir waren insgesamt 8 Nächte im Phangan Beach Resort und hätten ehrlich gesagt am liebsten noch verlängert. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns dort unglaublich wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Tobi und sein ganzes Team – besonders Lyn, Min und alle anderen – sind einfach fantastische Gastgeber. So herzlich, aufmerksam und authentisch freundlich erlebt man es wirklich selten. Das ganze Resort hat eine unglaublich entspannte, warmherzige Atmosphäre. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Liebe drinsteckt und dass sich wirklich um die Gäste gekümmert wird. Besonders schön fanden wir auch, wie unglaublich liebevoll das gesamte Team mit unserer Tochter umgegangen ist. Sie hatte gefühlt ihre ganz persönliche Animation 😅 Alle haben sich immer Zeit für sie genommen, mit ihr gespielt, gelacht und sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen. Dadurch konnten auch wir Eltern einfach komplett entspannen und den Aufenthalt noch mehr genießen. Egal ob man einfach nur am Strand entspannen, etwas unternehmen oder gute Tipps für die Insel bekommen möchte – Tobi nimmt sich immer Zeit und hat für alles die passenden Empfehlungen, sei es für Massagen, Sightseeing oder andere Aktivitäten auf Koh Phangan. Auch das Essen und die Drinks waren durchweg hervorragend. Wir haben uns jeden Tag aufs Neue darauf gefreut, dort zu essen und den Abend entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Für uns war das nicht einfach nur eine Unterkunft, sondern ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt. Wer auf Koh Phangan eine familiäre, entspannte und gleichzeitig wunderschöne Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Herzensempfehlung – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

L'emplacement, les pieds dans l'eau, le jardin bien entretenu autour des bungalows était très agréable. Le personnel était très gentil et aussi Lin était très amusant. Le restaurant est agréable . Des chaises longues, hamacs et balançoire sont disposés sur la plage, ce qui est très bien aussi.

L'intérieur du bungalow était très sobre, pas décoré, pas du tout attrayant, pas de tables de nuits, pas de séchoirs à cheveux, il fallait descendre des marches pour atteindre une SDE avec un lavabo trop haut, des joints en mauvais état, des insectes sortant de ces joints et de l'eau jaune.

The staff where very slow and really struggled with language barriers maybe they should get someone who can help them a little bit even with working the till or service we waited 1 hour in a beer had to ask 3 times - left my trousers at the pool and ran back down and they where gone within 30 minutes nowhere to be seen

We had such an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff always kept us informed about everything that was happening and were always there to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere of this place is truly special. It’s a beautiful hotel with such a welcoming vibe, and we felt comfortable from the very beginning. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had a great stay. A special thank you to the bartenders Yao and Linn, they were absolutely fantastic! Super friendly, fun, and they really made our whole stay even more enjoyable. We had such a great time with them. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

This resort is a little bit of heaven on earth, the owners are so accommodating aswel as the staff. It’s the perfect luxury laid back island feel. The food was the delicious especially their signature prawn! The rooms are great and the location is perfect, only recommendation is maybe an in-house/beach masseuse. It gives laid back Maldives Miami vibes with a real personal touch. Will definitely be back with the family

I had an incredible stay at Phangan Beach Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Phangan. From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel so welcome with their warm hospitality. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which made the whole experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious, always fresh and beautifully prepared. The beachfront location is stunning, with direct access to the beach and amazing views that make it feel like a true tropical paradise. Waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning was definitely a highlight. The beds were also extremely comfortable, and I had some of the best sleep I’ve had while travelling. If you’re looking for a peaceful beachfront resort with amazing hospitality, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere, Phangan Beach Resort is a fantastic choice.

Phangan Beach Resort is a wonderful place to stay and explore. The staff are very friendly and helpful when it comes to accommodations and cleaning. Bam Bam in particular is very thoughtful and fun to talk to. He gets you checked in and out in no time and offers good recommendations on where to go and explore on the island. His service for the resort is superb and can’t wait to go back again!

Die Lage, die Atmosphäre, tolles Konzept! Sehr aufmerksame neue Besitzer, die seit Anfang diesen Jahres viel renovieren, erneuern und noch mehr verschönern. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr engagiert und versuchen jedem Gast den best möglichen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Direkte Roller Vermietung vom Hotel aus für angemessene Preise, leckere Cocktails an der Bar, viele Möglichkeiten zum Liegen und Abhängen, ob am Stand oder am Pool.

Die Strandhütten sind teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber absolut ausreichend. Der Zugang zum Meer ist auf dieser Seite der Insel etwas flach. Dafür ist der Pool 24 Stunden begehbar und von allen Unterkünften war der Pool mit Abstand am erfrischendsten bei teilweise 35 grad Außentemperatur im April. Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Probiert die Lasagne :)

Direkt am Strand gelegen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber das hat für mich keine große Rolle gespielt – vor allem, weil die Betten extrem bequem waren. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Perfektes Resort: eigener Strand, schöne Anlage mit Bungalows unterschiedlicher Kategorien, liebevoll gestaltet mit uneingeschränkt nettem Personal (Rezeption, Bar, Restaurant, Service, "Greenworker"). Unter deutscher Leitung, die Besitzer sind für ihre Gäste jederzeit präsent.

Das Bad in den einfachen Bungalows verfügt nur über sehr kleine Waschbecken, und die Spiegelablage direkt darüber schränkt die Nutzung ein.

The resort is stunning. It’s directly located at the beach and has stunning views, especially if you want to catch the sunset. Very chill atmosphere all around, the staff is super friendly and welcoming (special shoutout to Way and Mimi - thank you guys for the amazing home made mango sticky rice shots!!)! The bungalow itself was nice and cozy and had everything we needed throughout our stay.

The bathroom situation was okayish. The shower did not have the best water pressure and the drain was slightly clogged so it took a bit for the water to drain. But, we also met the new owners and they told us of their plans to update all their facilities.

The very nice location with big beach access. Also the special design of the resort is very nice.

Loved being right on the beach, waking up and being able to step out of the room on to the beach was amazing - room B3 was great! The property was clean and really peaceful. The staff are all amazing, so friendly, welcoming and accommodating! They take time to chat with you and are so lovely. The owner also takes time to chat to guests and is very friendly, he and his partner recently took over the resort and are continuing to renovate over the next few months - we had no issue with any works ongoing though and the completed reception area is beautifully finished. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food in the bar and restaurant was always delicious and well presented - highly recommend, even if not staying at the resort. The staff are genuinely kind and friendly which create such a great atmosphere at the resort.

Das Personal ist wirklich toll! Alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist schön und der Strand auch toll. Insgesamt die Lage des Resorts super praktisch um die Insel zu erkundigen. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Bungalows sind renovierungsbedürftig und sehr klein. Für einige Tage okey aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht ideal. Die frei stehende Dusche im Badezimmer leider nicht so toll, da alles nass wird. Die Zimmer könnten sauberer sein. Die Klimaanlage ist an einem etwas ungünstigen Ort da sie direkt aufs Bett bläst und ohne ist es einfach zu heiss :-).

You can fully immerse into the experience this resort has to offer. I was here for 2,5 weeks. I needed that and I got so much more. Outstanding attentive staff – we shared great times (Emdy, BamBam and Lin & all the others…). I always felt welcome, seen and cared for. The new owners are incredible and one of its kind (believe me!!). They have stories and visions worth sharing and do their utmost to bring their own signature into this resort with lots of new ideas for your custommade experience (for sure unforgettable). They really take their time for the guests, which is rare. The new menu offered great variety of food from the very dedicated kitchen staff - breakfast, lunch, dinner – I did it all and never missed the fresh chilled (and branded) coconuts right at the bar (and shared bottles of wine in cozy corners). The bungalows – I loved my two different types of bungalows. Very well maintained, supercozy and provided everything you might desire… not to mention the sound of the waves from the long stretch of beach right in front of your door (I even slept with open doors - it felt so safe). If you are more of a pool person - they got you more then covered! I can really recommend this unique resort, you will not regret it. Phangan Beach Resort, you and your people have my heart. I’ll be back soon. This is a promise. It’s been 4 weeks since I left and I still feel the blues. Warm greetings all the way from Berlin... Miss the times with you.

Dit verblijf stal direct mijn hart! De super vriendelijke receptioniste heette ons welkom en liet ons het huisje zien. Echt een cute beach house met prima bedden! Fantastisch mooie locatie aan het strand. Wel wat verder weg van het centrum, dus een scooter huren is aan te raden. Dit eiland heeft echt indruk op mij gemaakt, mega chille vibes. Ik kom hier zeker terug en dan 100% in dit verblijf. Ontbijt is overigens ook erg lekker en het diner ook! Hele uitgebreide kaart met van alles en nog wat. De bar is ook gezellig met een leuke schommel aan de bar.

Vous avez sur place un restaurant très bon ouvert du matin au soir et un bar Si vous choisissez les bungalows sur la plage vous aurez une vue imprenable sur l'eau

Je pense que les chambres et en particulièrement les salles de bain mériteraient d'être rafraîchies.

Am meisten gefallen hat uns der direkte Zugang zu einem wirklich sehr schönem Strand. Es war durchweg eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre und es gab immer genügend freie Liegestühle und Schattenplätze. An der Strandbar konnte man auch gut sitzen und es gab leckere Getränke und Essen zu einem der Lage angemessenen Preis. Das Personal ist super freundlich, zuvorkommend und cool drauf, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die neuen Besitzer führen gerade einige Veränderungen durch, wir sind gespannt wie es wird und freuen uns drauf wieder zu kommen!

Lediglich ein paar Kleinigkeiten, wie keine Steckdose auf beiden Bettseiten, die Türen gingen nicht so gut auf und zu und dass der Strom generell nur mit 1 Karte zu bedienen war.

The resort is beautifully designed and well kept, constantly updated. Very friendly atmosphere and community vibe. Very good value for money. Plenty of nearby restaurants and services. The playfully laid out pool is optimal for lounging but large enough to swim around as well. Space to put your phone down while on the toilet, a modern day miracle!

No real complaints here but I'll pick some nits. Pool was closed for cleaning during opening hours. Got dry red curry instead of the liquid green one, make your waiters write down and confirm the orders. If you're looking to stay here be aware most of Phangan has shallow and rocky waters, see Google maps satellite imagery. If you're clumsy like me, be careful on the stairs into the bathroom.

Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay by the beach. I would definitely recommend it and would love to come back again.

Die Bungalows liegen in einer ruhigen und gepflegten Gartenanlage in Strandnähe. Das Zentrum ist zu Fuss in ca. 7 Minuten erreichbar. Im Restaurant gibt es thailändische und westliche Speisen. Eine Strandbar ist ebenfalls vorhanden.

Als Sanitäränlage dient ein Anbau am Bungalow, der durch eine kurze Treppe erreichbar ist. In der Nacht ist Vorsicht geboten wegen Unfallgefahr.
