Very nice family run accomodation, kind and helpful. I would reccomend for a stay visiting Galle. Breakfast was simple and filling. Perfect value fpr the money.

Honestly, this place was an absolute gem! It’s only about 1–2 minutes from Galle, yet it feels like a peaceful escape. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill, and the sea view was absolutely stunning. The price was incredibly cheap for what we got, and I genuinely can’t express how awesome the whole experience was. The breakfast was great, and the owner is such a kind and welcoming guy. Amazing value, beautiful scenery and wonderful hospitality. We’ll definitely stay here again!

It's worth the price

A quiet property located 15-20 minutes on foot from the city center. The staff was welcoming, though the service follows a very laid-back Sri Lankan pace. Our 3rd-floor room didn't have a working Wi-Fi connection, but it was a good excuse to unplug. Make sure to order your breakfast with plenty of time to spare, as everything is done slowly and with ease.

I stayed one night at Arken Lanka Hotel in Galle with my family, including kids, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location is convenient and quiet, making it suitable for a relaxed family stay. The hotel environment felt safe, which is important when traveling with children. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable for a short stay, with enough space for a small family. The staff were friendly and helpful

Very good conditions at an affordable price. Breakfast prepared with fruit from our own garden. Excellent location, 100 meters from the ocean. Great location. I recommend it.

No hot water in the shower. Fortunately, it wasn't cold, so it was ok.

Room and cleanness is very good. Distance to the town is ok. Around 1km we can reach. View of that room also super cool.

Breakfast is not good and they didn't serve us cutlery and butter for the bread also. They served other couples with those things and also felt like some discomfort because of how they treated us. And room 08 bathroom fittings are not working properly.

Schönes Zimmer mit mit großen Balkon. Das Bett war bequem und mit einem Moskitonetz bezogen. Die Familie war super lieb, sehr gesprächig und unfassbar nett. Man konnte sich sehr gut mit ihnen Unterhalten und Tipps bekommen. Das anwesen ist schön und hat einen guten Ausblick in die Natur. Das Highlight war das Frühstück! Hervorragendes Frühstück, einheimische Küche sowie Toast mir Marmelade und Eiern. Ein riesen Angebot, auch an Früchten und alles hat super lecker geschmeckt.

Ideal location for the City and Galle fort. Clean. Very friendly and helpful owner and wife. Especially helpful with our planned itinerary. Breakfast included...both English and Sri Lankan. A bonus too having AC. The price was incredibly reasonable for our last stop in Sri Lanka and we'd definitely use it again. Thank you

Great value for money, the bedroom was clean and bathroom very spacious, the air con was great. The staff were amazing, provided great breakfast and talked us through local dishes (they were great!).

The wifi did not work upstairs in the room. The location is not the best, however very easy to get tuk tuks and was good value for money despite this.

Great hosts,, good value for money and only takes 10 min to get to Galle fort by tuktuk!

La habitación estaba limpia pero el baño no tanto. El wifi directamente no funcionó nunca desde que estuvimos.

comfy bed, staff were friendly and very helpful. let us have a late checkout to help with our long travel day, which we were super grateful for

floors were very dirty, bathroom wasn’t particularly clean, only one chair in the room between two of us, so nowhere to sit in downtime that wasn’t the bed, location is quite a walk from galle forte (20/25mins) along a very busy street. there was a fridge in the room to use, but it was dirty.
