The Sixteenth Naiyang Beach Hotel

We chose the hotel for several reasons, close to airport, free shuttle, swimming pool. The first two delivered. Unfortunately the pool did not have a ladder, just a very big step, without handrail, so no good for a person with knee problems.

If you're in Phuket and an AV geek this is the hotel for you. Accross the street from the aiport you watch from the rooftop pool.The front desk staff loves small talk.

My room had no hot water then they change the room the WiFi was not connecting but overall everything was good

Just needed some where to stay during the day as we had a 10pm flight. Was cheaper than a our hotels late check out, very convenient and comfortable with enough eating options to make our stay comfortable.

Clean and looks newly renovated. Breakfast was so so. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Would stay again for an overnight transfer

It was nice

We chose this hotel only because we had to check out of Patong at noon and our flight to Shanghai was scheduled for 12 hours later at 12:30 am. We only stayed about 8 hours to shower and rest. The shuttle is free and convenient. The staff friendly. The room shows aging. The bed was hard for me. This is a transit hotel. I would not recommend for long term stays.

Great location near airport. Nice rooftop pool. Restaurant available for breakfast. Free shuttle to airport. There's a cafe next door. All other locations need vehicle transportation.

Bathroom curtain had a black mold and you guys didn’t have hand soap for the restroom.

There is a street across the hotel full of street food, fresh fruit for good value. Food is fresh and cooked while we waited. Many food options and choices to choise from at Street food stalls. Very convenient, economical compare to the hotel restaurants, more tastier, fresh. Have 7/Eleven store in the same street across from hotel. Help us save lots of money and better tastierfood. Highly reco. We also try the hotel infinity pool on 29th floor. That has great view of the Bangkok city, beautifulnight view, lounge chairs in the water for great relaxation

Cooler not working still warm , drain stink in the shower or sink!

We were so excited to get to this property, but we were pretty disappointed with the room that we received. It was super dirty, and the curtains were growing mold. Additionally, the mattresses were terrible to sleep on. (I think they were box springs?) anyway they were two twins pushed together to make a king so it just kept sliding apart. The Q-tips were reused and never replaced in the bathroom when we got there. Room service never cleaned the place. They only replaced our towels. Additionally, the pool was pretty small compared to the photos. Buyer beware! Still looks like one of the nicer places to stay at, do your research and book early!

Great place to stay near airport. Staff were friendly and accomidating. Breakfast was good with cereal, eggs, croissants, toast, susage, ham, curry, veggies, fresh fruit, pineapple was amazing!

The property was clean, room was spacious and comfortable. Easy checkin and lots of 7-11 and food options.

Was nice and convenient for a stroll on the beach. Loved using the bikes they provided. Made the trip even more fun!

Great place for a 1 night stay near the airport. Breakfast was average. Not worth it to pay for it really. Beds are harder than usual. Rooms are very clean. Check out is super strict. Front desk lady called at 11:55 and I told her I would be there in 5-10 minutes. Called again ar 12:05 saying “are you coming or not?” Which was kind of rude.

The hotel location is very near to airport and to the beach, you can borrow hotel’s bicycle to cycle around to the beach. It also provide free airport shuttle which great.

The hotel was exactly as described, a short walk from the airport, it was very reasonably priced as we only wanted it to relax ahead of a very late flight. To our surprise instead of walking to the airport as planned the hotel includes a free shuttle, this made the hotel even better value.

Professional and friendly staff

This budget friendly property exceeded my expectations. The staff kept the place meticulously clean. The front desk staff had great suggestions for food, places to shop and things to do. It is in walking distance to the beach & has restaurants and convenience shops within walking distance. I would recommend and would definitely visit again.

We only stayed one night prior to our flight out the next morning but it was very lovely. The hotel was so close to the airport and offered a free airport shuttle every hour - incredibly convenient! The rooms were so clean and the rooftop pool had an airport runway view which was fun to watch during the evening. Staff were friendly.

Very nice hotel, Room is immaculately clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. Breakfast was great a variety everyday. Restaurant next door to hotel had very tasty food.

Bad customer service

A pleasant stay, however a little noisy at times throughout the night. The biggest letdown for us was the bed… I love a firm mattress but this was next level HARD as a rock!

Convenient , nice price , nice view, ( odd number ends with high floor) short walk to 7-11 and airport (approx 7-10 mins walk) but hotel offer a free ride (just 3-5 mins)

We had a late night flight so just checked into the hotel from about 2pm and 7pm so we could have a shower and relax beforehand. Room was large and clean. Had a few small cosmetic damages - didn’t really bother us as only there for a short time. National park area at the beach at end of the street. 7-11 50mtrs away. Massage places either side. A few cafes along the street but we walked about 20mins to one on the beach. Airport shuttles every half hour and it’s a very quick ride.

Right next to airport if that is purpose if your stay. No hot water in are room!

I needed a hotel close to the airport due to a late arrival. Then needed to return to the airport the next morning. The hotel is 4min away from the airport by taxi. And the hotel has a free airport shuttle that I used to return to the airport. All very convenient for the needs of my trip. I do not know how easy it is to get to any tourist spots from this hotel as that was not what I needed for this trip. For the price point, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room. I had a corner room that overlooked the airport. It had a sofa and a sitting area. A lot of space in the room. The bed was very comfortable. In many hotel rooms in Asia the beds are harder than I prefer, but here it was very nice. Not too soft and not too firm. There is a 7-11 within 5min walk. And a laundry mat with six washer/dryer sets between the hotel and the 7-11. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is fine has a gym and also has a nice rooftop with a view of the planes landing with a pool right in front of that and wifi was good including the hotel amenities

We needed someplace convenient to the airport and this place was perfect. Easy walk from the Phuket airport as well as the beach and many dining options. Clean quiet and updated. Great place to stay if you are transferring to another place for a vacation tour elsewhere.

This hotel was very close to the airport. It is a nice oasis in an otherwise busy area. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The beach is a short walk away.

Walls are so thin you can hear every sound your neighbors make. It's very unpleasant when you're trying to sleep and the neighbors are talking so loudly and blasting their tvs. But I appreciated the hotel providing bottled water every day.

The airport service pickup when landing was unexpected on demand at 10:00pm. Excellent service and great location near airport for a quick 1 night layover.

this hotel is the worse place to stay, not cleaned, things were broken and beey very poor customer service. receptionist was very rude and ill mannered and we feel unsafe. very very unsafe place to live

If you’re looking for a beachy area that’s not crowded and touristy then I would recommend somewhere around here (Naiyang, Naithon or Maikhao). It’s quiet and you can surely relax. The hotel itself is located on soi 16 and I think this is 2 out of the best ones in terms of its building and facilities. But bear in mind… it is far from other attractions. I had to ride motorbike for like 1hr to downtown 😆

Only stayed one night, had early flight next morning. Great location for airport and free transfer. Reception staff very polite and helpfull. Small swimming pool on roof; quite cold but great views of planes landing/taking off.

I booked one night stay here while I waited to go to the airport. It was about $35 a night- and you get what you pay for. This hotel is located right next to the airport and has free shuttle service. Hotel staff were all very nice and professional. The rooms were small you can tell the upkeep of this place is not great. Our toilet was leaking water from the bottom each time we flushed. The water leaked into the shower. The hairdryer did not work. The TV has ONE working channel. While we were resting before going to the airport, all we heard was banging and doors closing. Not a place I would want to stay the night.

Stayed one night before an early flight. Staff very helpful and plenty of places to eat nearby. Free shuttle to the airport was a bonus which helped give a hassle free Phuket airport experience. Room was excellent and the pool was great with a view of the planes. Downside no on-site bar however you could bring drinks to the pool area

Staff didn’t seem to know the area around the property be sure when I asked where to get water and snacks they said I have to go into the city (45-mins away) but there was literally a 7-eleven 2mina down the road open 24-hours and tons of other stores like down the road.

Value for money at the 16th was fantastic - I was in a large suite room number 711 for around $20 a night which had great views of the airport and ocean. The rooftop pool also had great views - especially at night when the airport is lit up. The staff were very gracious and helpful when my Jetstar flight was cancelled and made sure that my extra night's stay was price comparable and stress free - the staff suggested that I dine at the Boss Bar near the beach and drove me down there free of charge and then were kind enough to pick me up after midnight. The Boss Bar staff were wonderful too and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The free airport shuttle service from the 16th is unbelievable - it's literally 2 to 3 minutes door to door to the Departure desks. Seven Eleven is a one minute walk for any additional needs and there is a cafe right next door which is open for breakfast; lunch and dinner. There is also a very good massage parlour at the front of the hostel next door which provided a relaxing massage to this tired body before it's flight back to Sydney! All in all - I had a great stay at the 16th and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to Phuket Airport; have a hassle free airport shuttle service but still have some eating and drinking options available to them only short distances away.

The hotel is well situated for the airport, but only the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, with a very small balcony. The swimming pool area on the roof, is small, with no shade areas, and just 6 sun beds, no bar/drinks etc etc. The bar area is 7 floors below, and closes before 22.00hrs. No restaurant in the evening, but a limited room service, for snacks. Breakfast was extra ( 300 Baht ), which I declined. The WiFi, I could not get to work, either in my room, or in reception. The beach is about a 20 minute walk away, with a small village, another 10 mins walk. It was on special offer and suited my means, for easy access to the airport for early morning flights. It would not suit me, for a week to 2 week holiday stay.

The location is very good as you can walk to the airport at about 10 minutes, while still only 600 m from the beach. The room was very comfortable, and quiet at night. The pool on the roof is small but very enjoyable to hang out in with a view over the airport and beach. The area has a 711 and lots of restaurants.

Naiyang was a very nice place for us. The overall atmosphere was quite nice. We enjoyed delicious food at Heng Heng and had an amazing two hour massage at Dhara. We will definitely go again.

Nice hotel, great place to spend the night before your flight. The pool needed a little work however. I would recommend this hotel. Tasty restaurant just adjacent to the East.

This hotel was a great place to transit overnight in Phuket. It is easy to find and within walking distance of the airport terminals. There is also a shuttle that will take you back to the airport. Not a place you would go for a holiday but as a stop over it is fine. The breakfast was adequate. The only complaint was that the roof top bar and pool were closed for renovations which we were not told about when booking.

Only stayed one night as a stopover due to time our flight got in. Fairly standard airport transit hotel, ok for a night. Shuttle service available from airport at 200 baht, if you only have hand luggage it is walking distance from the terminal.

Exactly what you would expect from an airport hotel. They include a free shuttle to the airport, but it takes the same amount of time if you walk. Beautiful swimming pool overlooking the airport so one can enjoy the airplanes landing and taking off.

The Hotel gave me 1 single bed and 1 twin bed for my family (a couple and a child). I am so happy and surprised with that even though I did not have such request. It was so thoughtful that three of us can have more space to sleep. Especially after a mid-night flight. The location is easy to find with a map. 10 to 15 minutes walk from the airport. Clean and Tidy afterall. I chose this hotel because it has elevator and no need to walk stairs that is great when you have huge luaggage and baby stroller.

Great location . Roof swimming pool is great though small. Enjoyed a drink in the roof skybar. Reception was efficient but not very welcoming. Bit put off by the list of items and cost displayed.

Just a quick overnight stay by the airport. Staff was extremely helpful. Free breakfast was good. Not much going on around the area but was a nice quick stay. Our taxi to the airport didn't show up so they took us in the shuttle for free. I took our car rental back early and walked back to the hotel from the airport in less than 10 minutes. Not super comfortable but nothing bad to say about our stay.

We booked this hotel for our last night because it was very near to the airport. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are very nice. It is next to a hostel with a very good restaurant.

Excellent. I had two days to myself in phuket just ccillin at hotels only spent on night here. Should of spent all 3. The rooftop is amazing the hotel is so modern and brand new. Dont think ive been anywhere that auctually looks like the pictures. Would go back again and again. Free shuttle to the airport. Helpful staff. All spoke very good english. Excellent stay.

It is a nice stopover hotel in a quite busy area next to the airport. It is afordable and convenient if you stay the night before taking a flight.

Great location next to the Airport for an Airport Hotel it's ok. But everything in the Hotel was just ok the bed was ok a little hard but that's how I like it. Shower could be better shower curtain does not reach all the way to the floor making the floor next to your toilet wet after a shower. First we could not find any power outlet's next to the bed. We had a double bed but the rooms where set up to be a twin rooms they where in the midel behind the pillows which is not the best place to have your power-outlet.

Literally just a couple of minutes from the airport. Room was clean, bed was clean, bathroom was clean, and wifi was decent. Exactly what I look for in a place to wind down after a flight. Keep in mind it is far away from the major areas of Phuket. Great for a night or two waiting for another flight, but not if you want to go out and about. Food options are limited in the immediate vicinity.

Very convenient location next to Phuket airport. We stay overnight because our flight was very early in the morning. At the hotel, they have bycicles that you can use and go by the beach which is only 10 minutes ride straight. It's a natural park with trees next to the beach, clear waters, nice to relax and see the planes arriving. Beautiful sunset. Perfect end to our holiday week. A shuttle service can be arranged complimentary, just let them know at what time is required.

There was a great cafe outside. We had a great dinner before the flight back to London. Room was clean, a little worn, but beds were really comfortable. We had a free transfer to the airport, really conveniant.

Clean room, good WiFi, close to variety of restaurants and local food market. You can hire scooter at hotel. Rooftop pool is small but overlooks the airport for an interesting view. Management was effectivent and helpful. Free airport transfer from hotel is convenient. No room safe. 5 min walk to beach but foreigners are charged 200tb, if you want to avoid that take first street left before beach and walk 1 km to make your way to beach that way. Good walking beach not nice for swimming. Next bay Nai Yang beach is very nice and worth a visite. Hotel was quiet although it is very close to airport and mai road. For short stay we can recommend and would stay again.

Great service, free shuttle to airport, basic but very nice room for the super cheap price. Small cute rooftop pool which I had all to myself one afternoon. This is a great choice for a layover or a night before or after you depart/arrive.

We stayed at this hotel because our flight arrived at 12:30 am and we did not want to waste a night at the resort we were going to in Khao Lak and we were tired after our day of travelling. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is about 600mts from the airport. It more than suited our needs for a 1 night stay.
