The Royal River Hotel

The room was very spacious looked very nice and comfortable

The balcony view of the city we had wasn’t the best And the shower had no hot water it was only Luke warm and the drainage was very slow. The air conditioner was a bit noisy

With a very nice view to the river, only 5 minutes walk to the pier. The breakfast is excellent with a great variety of european and asiatique food.

The humidity is quite intense outside and inside the hotel but when in AC everything is pefect

Always a pleasant property to stay at

Very disappointed in their phone system, tried over 10 times thru out the day to contact someone at the hotel, their automated answering system does not work, it gives you options to select, but doesn’t do anything and just hangs up

Everything was great I had an amazing view from my room and it was nice they had a tuk tuk service to the mrt station it made it very easy! Once there you could go anywhere and Everyone was very friendly laundry service was right across the street and the 7/11 at the entrance was very convenient for the late night or early snack runs I will stay here again my next trip

Room was big , balcony was big , great view of river ,breakfasts were good

Fridge wasnt very cold ,didnt double/king beds ?? singles join together ,extra pillows ,tea coffee not provided?? swimming pool didnt have a shallow end 1.7 metre allround , not kid friendly

The room

Breakfast only has two different fruits. With such abundance and variety, it's incomprehensible.

Everything from the size of the room comfy bed and what a view over the river. Very good breakfast

Hôtel très vieillissant avec moquette au sol. Il a fallu que je râle pour avoir une vue rivière (seul intérêt de cet hôtel). Très excentré de tout... Je ne recommande pas si vous êtes avec des enfants.

The location is great only 5 minute walk to pier to catch boat up or down river.

Too far from burger king and macdonalds. Otherwise no issues

Uima-allas oli huono ja aivan väärässä paikassa. Wifi oli todella surkea ja kirjautumis systeemi huono.

Tamanho do quarto família, estávamos em quatro pessoas, houve camas e espaço para todos. Bom café da manhã. O hotel oferece tuk-tuk gratuito até as estações de transporte público nos arredores. Água mineral gratuita no quarto.

Wi-fi ruim. O hotel realmente deveria rever isto. Vi outros hóspedes reclamando. Conexão instável, alguns aparelhos não conseguiam conectar.

Excellent location with room facing the river and with balcony. Very relaxing and right on river. 7/11 shop at doorstep of hotel. Restaurant on premises.

Breakfast experience. Too many people and very crowded.

Hotel and room was very nice . The man who took the cases was lovely/ friendly

Struggled with the language

Каждый день меняют зубные щетки, расчёски, дают свежие полотенца, следят за чистотой. На завтраке оригинальные напитки, например, из хризантемы, очень интересно и необычно. Вид из окна на реку красивый. Из отеля ходят туктуки, которые довозят до причала или станции метро

Good view and the room was good in size.

Pillows for me were a bit too firm.

Nothing at all. I am not recommending this hotel to anyone not even my enemies. They changed 1000 B just for a late check out. Breakfast was also not really Apealling. This hotel is good for nothing because they got 3500B just for one night. Well, I guess Royal River Hotel suits for royals not common people. Also the hotel staff had no hospitality at all.

Staff and way they treat us

Breakfast was good.

The room is new and very clean. The staff is nice, however, the maid is not that good. The breakfast is good. Omelet is very good, fresh cook. Suggest having more choice for boiled rice topping or side dishes.

Wifi is very bad. Cannot connect on my mobile phone, ipad, or Macbook. There was no wifi on that floor so that I use the upper floor or lower floor, but cannot connect as well.

It was close to everything, the staff made feel welcome especially in dinning area

The hotel is nice, but seems a bit older. The views from it are very nice. The food and staff are excellent. I woudl recommend.

Nice view and 7-Eleven near by.

Staff not greatly helpful. do not cater for tourists, don't understand what your asking as in directions, nothing touristy is offered. A bit away from main area. Room large, good balcony and view.

Variety, test is simple.

The hotel quite old still use the carpet in the corridors so the smell not quite good.

Everything: staff, design, view, large room, large bath. Normally it would be somewhat out of my price range, but I received a deep discount.

Dining was very ordinary. bought a bottle of wine, it was offhad a problem with supervisor finally agreed to pay half, ordered sand witing fillets very poor, breakfast good departure easy overall 7/10

Cleanliness. Not really clean.there's hair on the floor upon check in..under the bed also..not clean.

Free Tuktuk to the MRT or Piers which is very convenient. About 25 min to China town by train. The breakfast was awesome with lots to choose from and really good and the beds were comfy.
