Very clean and close to everything in Salem The staff was incredible

Close to the waterfront and restaurants. Employees were so kind and helpful. Bartender was wonderful. Food was great and decent prices. We ate most of meals at the hotel. Others meals we had elsewhere were not good. Clean and loved decor. Had some decorations up for Halloween. Love the water station and cookies.

Air conditioner too noisy! No coffee other than Keurig in the room. For $600+ for room, a continental breakfast would have been lovely! We felt the staff was not friendly.

Our room was very clean and organized. The view faced the town of Salem, which was pretty, everything in our room worked properly, and our bed was comfortable. It was my birthday and when we arrived there were balloons and a gift from the hotel staff waiting for me, it was so sweet!

We wanted to have a swim but the chlorine smell was so strong we couldn’t stay in the room

The room was absolutely fabulous. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is right near the water and shopping with parking on site. The pool is indoor and open.

For spending as much as we did it was very disappointing to walk into a lobby over taken by a wedding party. As the night went on children were running around in open areas and you could hear everyone in the hallways even though signs are posted about noise.

The rooms are always well-appointed and comfortable. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We couldn't be happier with the location of the property, which is why we have chosen to stay here year after year.

I like the newly renovated hotel . I remember staying there when it first opened up. There was still beds waiting in the lobby to be put in rooms . Every year I would stay for 3 days . Never let me down

The guest were very loud in the middle of the night. You had a sign by the elevator asking guests to be mindful of others. That sign should be in the ELEVATOR between the hours of 11-3 am .

This was the perfect hotel for our trip to Salem. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, the food was good , The hotel was clean with a great decor.. Its proximity to downtown was perfect.

The hotel is clean, decorated beautifully in a nautical theme, sits in a fantastic walkable location to most of the attractions in town, and the staff were courteous and professional. Fresh cookies and lemon water were available in the lobby upon arrival and the pool is open late until 10pm. Parking is a breeze in their large parking lot with easy in and out if needed.

It truly was a comfortable and nice stay! The only thing that would have been a useful added amenity is a mini fridge in the room. We spent a lot of the day eating at some of our favorite restaurants and had lots of leftovers (which clearly lends to our ordering habits when on vacation :) ). But the lack of room fridge definitely would not deter me from staying here again.

Je ne peux dire que du bien de l’endroit, nous aurions dû dormir plus longtemps à Salem et moins de temps down town Boston. L’endroit est magnifique, propre, bien situé. Les employés extrêmement gentil, bref je recommande à tous.

The AC in the room was a disgrace. It woke us up multiple times per night, like an airplane taking off and rattling. For the hotel’s standards, that’s a big bummer. We had to turn it off (in a heatwave). The staff was polite at best.

Thr only thing I would have liked different was a toilet that was a little taller and not so tight to the wall that your touching the toilet paper holder.

We had a long weekend and the city was celebrating their 400th anniversary. This hotel was so clean, pleasant and the rooms were one of the best. Love the lemon water and chocolate chip cookies they offer to guests in the lobby.

Great area and had free parking. Can improve on their sofa bed quality and wifi service. Rooms are very clean.

Great location , spacious and clean rooms , courtesy of our wonderful housekeeper Anav ! It was spotless throughout our 6 day stay . Everything is walkable from the hotel and there’s room service and a bar .

It was beautiful. Absolutely attentive staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated.Housekeeping immediately resolved all requests. Front desk/restaurant staff were very helpful with providing suggestions for attractions and other eating options.

The parking is hit and miss. No in room fridge. Only 2 luggage carts for the whole motel, ended up carrying everything to the room at check in.

The Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites provided the perfect home base while celebrating a family member’s wedding at Glen Magna Farms in nearby Danvers. It is located right in Salem's historic Derby District, the property features a modern nautical aesthetic. There were pros and cons tho Getting to the Danvers estate from the hotel is incredibly easy, letting out-of-town guests bypass heavy city traffic on the day of the ceremony.The hotel offers complimentary parking in their lot and an overflow lot close by, meaning family members can leave their cars behind and easily walk to local Salem restaurants for pre and post-wedding dining. Our room had an air conditioning unit that was a bit loud when cycling at night, which bothered me a bit. I also could not control the tempature in our room.

This hotel and its staff exceeded my expectations. It is comfortable, clean, perfectly located close to both downtown and the waterfront! Also the small details like having cookies and ice water in the lobby, free parking, and bath salts in our room for a lovely soak after a long day walking around made this hotel top notch. We even enjoyed the on site restaurant. Good food with pleasant entertainment on Friday evening.

It was totally fine for us, but a word of caution if you have a room on the front of the hotel you will hear the live music and conversation coming from the restaurant if the weather is nice enough for people to be outside. As New Yorkers we didn’t care (used to the street noise) but some people may see it as a drawback.

Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites is so beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and the bed was very comfortable.

My only disappointment was I think breakfast was included in the price, but with no mention of it at check-in, I forgot because it wasn't obvious we're it was located. Breakfast included would make up for the higher price of the room.

This hotel is beautiful! Walking distance from everything in Salem, includes a parking spot, the pool is a nice way to cool off after walking around, the beds are comfortable with lots of pillows and the front desk staff are so nice and helpful! They helped us with taking the train to Boston and gave us face masks because we were there during the Canadian wild fires and the air quality wasn't good. I will definitely stay here again! Our 14 year old loves the hotel too. Stay here!

The only thing was, that breakfast was served later than written on the info. So we had to grab something somewhere else, because the kids were hungry

The location is great ! And even if you want to go somewhere a little farther, the shuttle was amazing! Adam was the driver . He was courteous, kind and very informative about the sights. The rooms were clean and large . The hotel in itself was clean and everyone was helpful and courteous. Service was very good. The cold water in the lobby was great! ( and sometimes there were cookies!) I wish there would have been a safety bar in the shower and the AC was quite loud and was hard to keep at a comfortable temperature. I felt we were adjusting it frequently. However, I would highly recommend the Salem Waterfront hotel!

The hotel is beautiful- clean, bright and welcoming. The rooms are large and comfortable and the pool is such a lovely treat. I loved the complimentary shuttle service! All of the drivers we had were so friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy and front desk staff super helpful! The hotel restaurant is delicious but the service is really lacking. It’s a shame too because truly every meal I had there was delicious! We had dinner twice and breakfast once and all meals were wonderful - tasty and colorful and fresh!

Hotel restaurant has very poor service - a lot of this could be solved by a host stand and a host or clearer expectations for staff to greet customers and provide silverware.

This is a terrific place to stay in Salem. Centrally located with a private parking lot. They allow you multiple parking passes and the staff was more than accommodating for our large group. We had a birthday cake, and they let us use the meeting room to cut the cake and sing happy birthday, and they even brought us plates and napkins. The pool is small but deep and is so refreshing. Excellent for water aerobics and splashing around, but an L shape, so not for laps. The staff was so welcoming and had great recommendations. They were able to help us get a shower chair and a toilet riser for an 80 year old, and the hotel was wheelchair accessible.

Driving from NY to here on a raining day was a bad weather , non stop heavy rain. Whe arrived at the hotel , room was ready , loved the lemon water and chocolate chip cookies I. Front of the desk, plenty of parking from lot into the lobby. Couldn’t go out so stayed in the pool, ate in their restaurant, lived their alcoholic drinks, gave me a buzz, their nachos was good and their steak bowl plus their brownies , My role was make well, very colorful and well decorated, the ac was cold , slept good that night. The next day, it stopped raining, managed to walk around and do sight seeing. Check out was easy . Very modern look. . Has an ice machine and be sore machine on the same floor.

We enjoyed our stay! Everyone was very helpful and kind. We used the shuttle service and Adam the driver came in a half hour early so we wouldn't miss our train. He also took the time to help me find the time for the train. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were literally with in walking distance from just about anywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a gorgeous suite with very comfortable beds. The staff is excellent! They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Warm chocolate chip cookies and a fire in the lobby were waiting when we came in from our cold outings. Restaurant breakfast delicious and they make good specialty cocktails. The Hotel is within walking distance to many attractions. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The staff receives the highest gold star!

We stayed at Salem Waterfront for our engagement anniversary and will be staying again for our wedding. The staff was helpful and friendly. The accommodations were beautiful and the food was fantastic! We loved having Dave at the bar and are hoping to see him again at our next stay.

Big rooms. Lots of counter space. Great location for the 4th of July. It's by some of our favorite places.

We loved our stay here! It was quiet and comfortable, the pool was fabulous, the location was so convenient and very walkable. We felt right at home. Staff did a fantastic job taking care of us with friendly service. The nautical themed decor was classy and fun.

The onsite restaurant was okay, but not great.

It was clean, the staff were nice, and the on-site restaurant was amazing.

The over flow parking was not what I expected and having to walk down the street at 1am was a little off putting.
