Everything was so good, room was very spacious and very comfortable. Staffs have been very helpful and nice. It’s our second time staying here. Looking forward to stay again 👍 The food here tastes so good 🥰. If u need anything at any time nalaka will be there helping you nicest guy.

This place feels dreamy. Book their suite room and its one of the best property in Sri Lanka. The surrounding area gives you a feel as if you are in England.

Not worth the money. See the images. The room has never been cleaned for I dont know how long. Room is filled with stains and mold. Mold is all over the the room including the bathroom. If we would have stayed for one week in this hotel we would get sick

The location was quaint and lovely. That was a huge motivator for us to book! The cottage was clean and well tended to and the host was lovely as well.

Would have hoped for a little more variety in the breakfast options but it was still good.

Les photos n’ont absolument rien à voir avec la réalité de la chambre. Nous étions 3 adultes et avons donc réservé une chambre pour 3. Le troisième lit était simplement un matelas par terre à côté du lit deux places… soit, mais pour un 4 ou 5 étoiles c’est moyen, surtout quand on voit le prix initial de la chambre. La moquette est sale, tachée, sans parler des murs, des plinthes et fauteuils. Le rideau est troué…Il y a de la moisissure au plafond et dans la salle de bain. Je n’ai pas pu ajouter plus de photos mais l’idée est là. Nous n’avons pas pu tester le confort des lits car devant de telles prestations nous ne sommes pas restés et avons été remboursés intégralement.

The property feels quite old and not renovated. Considering the price, the facilities provided don’t seem to match the cost. The place would really benefit from better maintenance and renovation. Also, the room carpets had an unpleasant smell..Renovation and better upkeep would help!!!!!!!

Wir hatten die Suite gebucht und es war ein wirklich geräumige Unterkunft inkl. Whirlpool. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Das Team war super nett und engagiert und das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker! Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen Rabatt über booking.com, daher war die Suite in einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhaltnis. Es könnten einige bauliche Mängel leicht behoben werden.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location is stunningly beautiful and provides such a peaceful atmosphere. Nalaka is a fantastic host, very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The House: A small, cute, and cozy cottage. It is full of character and charm. The Facilities: While the furnishings are a bit older, everything is meticulously maintained and very clean. Special Touches: The living room was decorated with beautiful fresh flowers, and there were board games and comic books available, which made the stay very relaxing and fun for the family. Breakfast: Good and satisfying, but there was no change in the menu during our two-night stay. A little more variety would make it absolutely perfect. The Host: The host is incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond. On our check-out morning, we were gifted a stunning handmade bouquet of flowers. It was such a kind gesture that put us in a great mood for the rest of our trip.

The hot water stopped working twice during our stay for no apparent reason. A young staff member came quickly to fix it, which we appreciated, but he didn't explain the cause.

The experience was really beautiful and comfortable. Mr. Nalaka and Uncle Nagesh gave us good hospitality and we had a delightful Breakfast. and Also Me and my wife enjoyed the walk around the neighbourhood. Again we are planning to come again in near future. Thanks.

Furniture has to be renovated, chair cushions look a bit old. The furniture set up is very nice and completely English but the cushion covers need a bit of replacement.

Kent Cottage was a completely different experience, but exactly what we expected when we made the booking. Staying here truly felt like being in a cozy countryside cottage somewhere in the UK. The staff was just as we hoped — warm, caring, and genuinely attentive. They looked after us very well, helped us with food recommendations at the lovely pub across the road, and even offered to cook something for us if we wanted. The room was absolutely beautiful — really stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had all the facilities we could possibly need. For breakfast, you simply agree on a time with them, and they prepare everything fresh for you, including the food, coffee, and tea — a very nice and personal touch. The night was a bit chilly, but we were given a heater and warmed up the room before going to sleep, which made everything very comfortable. Kent Cottage is a little outside the city, but you definitely won’t regret staying here. It’s something different, truly unique, and incredibly relaxing. For us, it was a total disconnect from the chaos and busy atmosphere of Sri Lanka — in the best possible way.

Loved the warmth and hospitality of the manager and the support staff. Nalaka was great and conversational. They responded to all our requests promptly and were very courteous. The breakfast was awesome too.

Leuke, lieve, capabele mensen! heerlijk ontbijt. Mooie kamer, zalig bad! Fijn restaurant tegenover. Aan het kind gedacht en bedje erbij gezet. Gewoon perfect.

There was mould everywhere. We had to move out because all our clothes got wet and mould was on the walls. This was posing a huge health risk. We asked for a refund. The owner accepted our request, but never paid - even after multiple calls and mails via booking platform. Even booking did not help.

1. Красиво сделан коттеджный комплекс- как будто английская деревня. Стоят ворота, охрана. Пускают только по бронированию 2. Атмосферные коттеджи, английский стиль, наливают чай при заселении 3. На территории комплекса есть ресторан, правда дорогой,но вкусно.

1. Мебель хоть и красивая но очень старая - протерта обивка. И вцелом видны следы старины - пятна и потертости на стенах, старые двери, в ресторане попадаются тарелки со сколами

Mould in the bathrooms on middle floor. Furniture in the kitchen old that you sink when you sit in the chair Lounge room downstairs seats sink that it's not comfortable.

Great location and very peaceful

Usually quite cold at nights as the heating didn’t seem to hold up as the rooms were large. A lot of the furnitures seem to be well used ie broken draw nobs and one cabinet with broken glass mirror. One bathroom clearly had damp problem with mould on the ceiling and around the door frame. But the main concern I had, which was raised with the host, was the helper had access to our kitchen and the use of the refrigerator, which kind of defect the objective of us having privacy due to having small kids, and to cook at the house. The host was very understanding and took steps to cover up the door glass and assured us they will only enter the kitchen for their provisions. In the end, we went out for all our meals during our stay.

The beautiful exclusive gated community was what made us choose this place as we had not been there before.

Everything was a little too old. But definitely usable and value for money.

Gated community of about 40 cottages- all English architecture style. We had a deluxe king room first floor in the fifth cottage on the left. The room was awesome- clean really big and had every facility included. You could go with a couple of clothes and the room provided the rest. There was even a bathtub and endless hot water. We went half board and the meals were absolutely. And our host was friendly and thoughtful.

英国に居ると錯覚する様なコテージや調度品に見入ってスタッフの物腰もまるでそう思える。 夜遅くに入って翌朝早朝の出発で朝日に映える外観と時間・雰囲気を味わえなかったのは誤算でした。出る時スタッフの方が朝食ボックスを持たせてくれました。ありがとうございます😊

歴史を感じる趣きのあるコテージで好きですが、一方で朝までバスルームの湿度が抜けないので建物に影響しないとおもいました。 （ビーチサンダルが備え付けてあるのはそのためか…！）

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality.Nalaka, the manager, is an absolute gentleman — kind, supportive, and attentive to every detail. Prasanna, the chef, treated us to the most delicious meals throughout our stay, and Shashi Kumar, the cleaner, ensured the cottage remained peaceful, clean, and perfectly comfortable for our stay.What truly touched our hearts was the surprise breakfast arrangement on our 8th wedding anniversary — a beautiful flower bouquet with a “Congratulations” tag. It was such a thoughtful gesture that brought tears to my eyes.This stay became one of the most unforgettable experiences in our lives. We highly recommend Cent Kottage to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our special day truly magical!

It was a great place to stay within a gated community and the surrounding area was pleasant to walk around. The breakfast was served at the table and we had a choice of Sri Lankan or western. In fact, we liked the cooking and ended up having dinner there as well

It was a little far out from Nuwara Eliya and not easy to find. Thankfully, Nalaka, the housekeeper wrote his motor bike to meet us at the junction to lead us there. .

We originally booked two nights at Kent Cottage… but ended up staying a third because we adored it so much! Once again, Nalaka and the team made us feel like family—their hospitality is unmatched. The rooms are cozy, the garden is lush, and the location is ideal for exploring Nuwara Eliya’s hikes and waterfalls. Nalaka even shared great local tips. After three stays here, we can confidently say: This is THE guesthouse in Nuwara Eliya for genuine care and a homey vibe. Thank you, Nalaka!

The property was beautiful, idyllic and perfect for a vacation. The property manager Nalaka and his team were outstanding and made every effort to make our stay comfortable ! They made us tea through the day and we had a wonderful time having our breakfast in the cute garden. The place has a lot of charm and I’d strongly recommend it!

Given that it’s usually cold in Nuwara Eliya, the place does not have air conditioning. It can get a little stuffy in the rooms. When requested they did provide a small fan but it was not effective for the large room.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Nalaka made us feel right at home—he was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive to everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. 100% recommend this place!

Kent Cottage is the best looking cottage inside of Little England. From the first moment, we were impressed by the architecture and interior design. The room was well decorated with a lot of small details. Staff was extremely kind and helpful that they gave us a lot of information about the area, city, region and the country. Breakfast was also delicious. Absolutely it was a great stay.

The extremely friendly and helpful staff in addition to the fact that its a very beautiful property. Food was also great. The one thing that was a bit inconvenient was that we didn't have hot water in the night. Everything else was just perfect. Nalakas service was exceptional.

Very isolated spot, no options for eating out, very high price for mediocre room, a further fee was requested for breakfast which we felt was most unkind, we left feeling hungry and had to wait for quite a while to get transport. Thereby losing time to visit Nuwara Eliya. Manager very pleasant but staff rather cool.

Property is very well maintained and very clean. We stayed with our toddler. Very peaceful place to stay. Staff is very well mannered, helpful and well behaved. English Breakfast was very fulfilling and fresh (extra charge for that but worth it).

Little England cottages were nice. There is a restaurant in the area and you could have drinks and food. Kent cottage was a nice experience. However, the house needs a little renovation. Wifi was very bad and were told they rely on Dialg wireless broadband which didn't not work well...

We booked here for my wife's birthday. This place looks way better than the photos listed here. It was full of flowers and very pretty. Their welcome was very warm and staff there is very friendly. Place is clean and antique interior makes that place more picturesque. We held a surprice tea party birthday celebration for my wife and Mr. Nalaka was very supportive. He did a great job helping me to arrange that. We are fully satisfied with the stay.
