Zimmer super. Sehr sauber.

The place is very clean and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. The area is calm and quiet.

The access to the location was little difficult but should not considered compared with the other factors

Es war sehr sauber, die Familie sehr freundlich. Schönes Zimmer und es gab einen gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsbereich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Wenn man den Fokus auf den Wasserfall hat, ist man wirklich nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

Die Lage fand ich eine große Herausforderung für Tuk tuk fahrer,mir persönlich zu weit weg und viel zu steil und holprig der Weg zur Unterkunft. Die Wolldecke,die als Bettdecke genutzt wurde,der Gedanke daran,dass jeder oder viele Gäste diese Decke schon genutzt haben... Vielleicht wäre es eine Überlegung für jeden Gast eine beziehbar Decke anzubieten,wo der Bettbezug gewechselt und gewaschen werden kann.

En general, todo. Los huéspedes son muy amables y atentos. Como nos íbamos temprano nos hicieron un desayuno para llevar y esperaron a que nos vinieran a buscar. La casa es cómoda y muy mona. Tiene muy buenas vistas y la cascada muy cerca.

Lo único diría el camino para acceder que es algo complicado, pero merece la pena

Everything was good.

The wifi wasn’t working.but that was not a big deal for 1 night stay.I had enough mobile data.

Perfect location for a hike to Lovers Leap Waterfall and to Pedro Tea Garden and Factory. The owners found a good tuk-tuk driver who drove me to their house. Easy communication on WhatsApp.

There were problems with internet.

Habitación pequeña pero muy completa. Lavabo correcto! Se trata de una casa, con dos habitaciones con lavabo propio que comparten espacios comunes. El desayuno muy bueno. Las vistas eran espectaculares. Hay una cascada a 10 minutos andando!

Se encuentra en la parte alta del pueblo y hay bastantes cuestas para llegar. A nosotros nos ha sido complicado ya que conducíamos nuestro propio tuk tuk.

Super lieve mensen! Wel koud toen wij er waren, maar genoeg dekens om je warm te houden ;)

Es war der bisher schönste und authentischste Aufenthalt in Sri Lanka. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundschaft und das besondere gute Frühstück der Besitzer. Wir hatten sie besten Pancakes mit Kokos, die ich je gegessen habe. Vielen Dank an Piumi und ihre Familie. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen.

La casetta è in alto e immersa nel verde, la vista è davvero bella! La casa è a completa disposizione degli ospiti,le stanze in totale sono due. C’è la possibilità di cucinare, che data la distanza dalla città , é l’opzione più comoda! La famiglia è davvero accogliente e disponibile, la casa è pulita e spaziosa! La colazione è buona e abbondante! Ci tornerei assolutamente!

We received exceptional hospitality there; the host went above and beyond to make us feel right at home, looking after us with the care and concern of parents. They provided excellent amenities and prepared delicious meals, often using produce grown right on the property. The surroundings were beautiful and serene, and whenever we faced any issue, they stepped in to help just like family members. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and look forward to visiting again.

The couple who runs the place was very helpful, sweet and really warm. Good communication and lovely breakfast. They also run a restaurant where you can order home-cooked lunch and dinner with a very reasonable price. Excellent value for money!

Location is to tough to find

The experience was excellent and I would like to repeat it again. The staff were cooperative and good.

Minor staff were good. Our room was fully flooded as there was a water leak from the bridge shower. We didn't have any sleep. The owner was not willing to change the room despite having plenty of vacant rooms. No plug point to charge the phone- No wardrobes to put your cloths in, my stay with wife was miserable

Le séjour était vraiment très agréable, la chambre est très bien. Il y a un petit salon commun avec une autre chambre et surtout les propriétaires sont juste adorables et tellement arrangeants!

Fue un sitio muy agradable rodeado de campos de té, a 20 min caminando hay una cascada muy bonita! El desayuno fue muy rico y los dueños amables y con ganas de ayudar! La tranquilidad de este lugar y su buen trato sin duda hace que tu experiencia sea bonita! Os lo recomiendo mucho! A 20min del centro caminando merece la pena!

Posizionato in alto, fuori dal centro, e questo è un pro perché c’era pace e silenzio. Vista stupenda, bella cascata ad appena 15 minuti di cammino e piantagioni di tè tutto intorno. Colazione buona e abbondante e acqua calda per la doccia (fondamentale visto le temperature di Nuwara Eliya che è ad oltre 1800m di altitudine).

La casa non ha il riscaldamento (me lo aspettavo) quindi la sera può fare un po’ freddo. Lo scarico del wc non funzionava ma ci siamo arrangiati alla vecchia maniera con un secchio.

Het lag op een zeer lekkere rustgevende plek vlakbij de waterval. Kleine hike van 10 à 20 minuutjes. Ook voor een goede prijs eten besteld in de avond. Was erg lekker en optijd klaar. Zeker aan te raden om daar te dineren! Ook een super lieve behulpzame familie die alles voor ons goed wilde regelen. Zo hebben ze voor ons een take-away ontbijtje gemaakt vroeg in de ochtend en ee tuktuk klaarstaan zodat we de trein naar Ella konden pakken. De kamer was ook perfect en erg knus met een lekker ruim bed. Wij verbleven hier maar 1 nachtje maar zou er graag wat langer zijn gebleven!

Het enige was dat het op een ietwat afgelegen plek stond waardoor het erg ver van de stad was, maar dit vonden wij totaal niet erg aangezien de rest echt geweldig was!

The lady who ran it was lovely and came and made breakfast for us in the morning, it was a very cute place to stay. It was rainy while we were there so it was nice to have a cosy living room.

The location was a bit far out but was close to the waterfall and it was a bit cold there and the blankets were a bit dusty.

Nonostante la fatica iniziale di arrivarci a piedi perché molto distante dalla cittadina ed in salita, poi la fatica è stata ripagata dalla posizione strategica vicino alle cascata e alla tea farm, attraverso una passeggiata dietro a piedi tra le piantagioni di tè. Casa immersa nel verde, nella pace e nella tranquillità, possibilità di prendersi il sole o godersi il panorama dalla terrazzina. Marito e moglie davvero carini ed accoglienti, ti preparano anche la cena se vuoi. Buona colazione ed aiuto per un tuk tuk per andare ad Ambewela.

Un pó troppo in salita per chi sta a piedi, ma bella posizione lontana dal caos.

Excellent hébergement, à l'écart de la ville dans un calme absolu. Proche de la cascade et à deux pas d'une balade dans les plantations de thé. La famille est aux petits soins et les repas sont excellents et copieux !

Dokonca sme prisli velmi neskoro ale nemali s yym ziadny problem, boli ochotni nam zabezpecit veceru, ranajky,...Domcek bol velmi priestranny, skoda ze sme ostali len jednu noc.

Bardzo wygodny, niekrępujący pokój z dostępem do kuchni i salonu. Przepięknie położony wśród pól herbacianych, w pobliżu wodospadu. Bardzo sympatyczni gospodarze. Niezłe śniadanie.

Fatalne Wi-Fi. Niedziałająca spłuczka w toalecie.

El acceso.

Le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient très bons. Les hôtes étaient très gentils et bienveillants. Cet établissement a répondu à nos attentes.

Nice and welcoming hosts. Small room, okey for one two night. But the location is quite far away from everything. For this price it’s perfect! Definitely recommend visiting a waterfall which is just 15 min walking from the accommodation.

I was staying for one night when it was cold and rainy. Would ask for a heater if temperature is the same.

La posizione perfetta per cascate e vedere il verde delle coltivazioni. Ottima la colazione.

Personal muy atento, siempre pendiente de nosotros y con consejos para lo que teníamos que hacer. Desayunos variados y ricos, lo mismo que la cena. Todo muy limpio ,con agua caliente. Andando a 10 minutos de la catarata LOVE sleap. Entorno natural

La habitación olía un poco a humedad pero es normal por el tiempo que hace allí .

Scenic Beauties

Perfekcyjna czystość w połączeniu z pełnowymiarową i funkcjonalną kuchnią. Gorącą wodą w łazience i 10 minutach na nogach do wodospadu sprawia, iż jest to wyśmienity obiekt do wypoczynku! No i pyszne śniadanie!

Niektórym może nie spodobać się fakt, że hotel jest na uboczu ale osobiście ta spokojna okolica bardzo nam odpowiadała!

Außerhalb der Stadt in ruiger Umgebung. Der Wasserfall ist für einen kurzen Besuch gleich in der Nähe. Gutes Frühstück. Das bestellte Abendessen wurde vorbeigebracht, war sehr lecker nur leider etwas kalt.

Leider ist es sehr kalt. Was zur Abwechslung aber ganz schön ist :) Von der Familie bekommt man nicht viel mit nur Check-in und Frühstück.

La amabilidad de los dueños.

La habitación olía tanto a humedad que no se podía respirar. Había moho en todos los techos y paredes. No había ningún enchufe en la habitación por lo que o llevas baterías portátiles cargadas o no podrás cargar nada. La toallas olían muy mal. No había sábanas, hemos dormido encima del colchón y con mantas que seguramente no laven. La ducha no tenía nada de presión.

Le personnel était chaleureux, le bungalow et la chambre spacieux et confortable. L'emplacement était très bien, avec une vue à couper le souffle sur une cascade et les plantations de thé

Il faisait un peu frais lors de notre séjour mais en l'absence de radiateur plusieurs couvertures mises à disposition ont fait l'affaire !

The food prepared by the host was excellent, it was close to Lovers’s Leap waterfall but on a very narrow and steep road.

There was mold on the room’s ceiling and also in the bathroom, the WiFi was very very slow

A little bit hard to reach

There were no other guests so we had the whole bungalow to ourselves which was nice. A room, kitchen and lounge. It was a short walk to lovers leap and the breakfasts were amazing. Very fresh.

Super clean

Cool bungalow way up on the mountain very close to lovers leap fall. I loved the location, for this i have rated it highly, but it goes both ways (it is quite high up and away from the town, which i liked as the town is a little busy and crowded, but it is also a little also far away from most of the big shops and restaurants, and the and bus/train stand is about a 500 rupee tuk tuk away) The bungalow itself is beautiful and has great amenities. The family who runs it doesnt live at the bungalow so you have it for yourself (two rooms, so there might be other tourists there), but they come every morning to deliver great breakfast which is included in the price and they will also bring dinner if you want which is delicious.

Very good hospitality and good breakfast. We stayed one night and for us it was fine. The owner was very helpful with everything we needed and even made recommendation of what to see around.

Don t recommend long stay because of the small room and dampness with heavy smell in the room and bathroom.

Amazing location Peaceful.

One of the rooms is damp & mouldy. Unfortunately, I was given the damp one. I feel the owner should do something about it before renting it out again, as it was mentioned in a previous review. I did not feel happy sleeping there. If you stay there ask for the room near the front door. That one is fine.

An attractive viewpoint. staff are more friendly. There is a very narrow road. Accessible only by cars and vans. But there is safe parking space. All facilities are there. There is a very free environment. Close to town. The breakfast is very delicious.
