We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices to suit different tastes. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were also given a room on the 16th floor, which offered a fantastic view of the city. Another big plus is the hotel’s location. It is conveniently situated right beside a large shopping mall, which has plenty of choices for massage parlours, pedicure and manicure services, as well as a huge variety of food options. There’s no shortage of things to eat or ways to relax and pamper yourself! The lift service was also excellent—we hardly had to wait at all, which was very convenient, especially during busy periods. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our stay. With the friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and convenient location, we would definitely consider staying here again!

I was just wondering how the staff would clean the bathroom. It only has a rain shower and no hand held shower.

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday villa in Johor Bahru. The place was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing perfect for a short getaway. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shops.The breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. We really enjoyed the variety and freshness of the food,it was a great way to start the day. Highly recommended for families or small group gatherings!

Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike. Everything met our expectations, and we had a very pleasant stay overall.

The breakfast. One dish was not up to mark -- 'the fried bihun'. It was slightly tough and dry. The condition of the bath room especially the water from the shower can be upgraded. It wet the floor after shower.

Parking access is narrowed, aircon doesn't work very well.. it gets warm after 1 or 2 hours on normal fan speed.

The breakfast varieties are inconsistent. E.g. there are dim sum options last time we stayed here but this time do not have.

Location is quite nice, with malls and lots of eateries nearby. And you can take the bus to JB Sentral from the nearby mall if you wanna make the trip to Singapore bia Woodlands checkpoint.

Traffic could be a hassle if you’re driving to the Hotel.

Breakfast: a wide variety,good quality and attentive staff. Room: well appointed room,except the connecting rooms are not very sound proof. If you are wanting some rest after a long day, and neighbors happen to be loud, disrupt the peace.

Me and my hubby stayed during July 2026 and this august we came again and stay a lil longer.. All was great the staff, bell boy will always help around and bring our heavy stuffs into the room. We love the breakfast and infinity the most.. Quiet yet romantic atmosphere at the pool.. The housekeeper also did a great job.

Room service for food not 24hrs. Aircon sometime cold sometime not. The worst is the wifi connection at tv. We on neflix and same problem again keep loading every time. I think management need to look into this. Wifi comnection to hp was great. Only the connection at tv cause its so frustrating.. 2nd time same problem connection again.

The room is very dusty. Very poor service at the concierge. Since hotel expects foreign guests over the weekend, why not, do special check-in counter for Malaysians only or those who booked and paid thru web.

The property is in a very good location and aldo near two shopping malls. The service of the staff was also very efficient.

Room 1918 bath tub draining plug spoil and call for a tissue box took more then 2 hrs still haven't receive until I went down to lobby to ask for it.

The location is easy to navigate anywhere alot of local food.

Should train the staff to make omelette properly I did not take pictures. I request egg white omelette and she serves me distorted omelette. I notice the eggs were cooked too early and put on display for guests to consume by the time is already cold. This is the second time I went for the buffet breakfast and still no change. The floor bathroom need to improve it is so slippery even they put a notice on the glass shower but at least do something to prevent the floor bathroom becoming slippery.

Beds and location are great! Staff service is good too. They are understanding and even let us have an early check in, provided the rooms are available.

The cleanliness is not what i expected. The coffee sachets have ants and there isnt a shower handle (different from my previous stay)

We reached the hotel about 2.30 to check in - the check in lounge was very crowded. We were told we can only check in after 3 - which we gladly waited. At 3 only one of the 3 rooms we booked were ready. The 8 of us decide to wait in the room. I waited for an hour to check for the readiness of the the other rooms - and was told they were still not ready and asked me to wait in the room and the keys will be sent to the room when ready. We waited for another 1.5 hours with no news. Called the receptionist and they knew nothing about it. We went to the reception again only to be told the room was ready (and they upgraded one of the room to suite). It was the first time I had to wait for 2.5 hours post check in time to get the rooms. There is obviously a need for improvement in the process and communication.

Location of the hotel was best. Centralized and near to many other places for retails, or F&Bs. Staff however was somewhat mixed feelings even though end of the day, things get done.

Staff was reluctant to serve check-in pushing me from one counter to another. I was puzzled. I arrived midnight, no crowd. Why that kinda attitude? Showers only comes with rain showers which my wife didn't like.

They saw me with my impaired husband only the bellboy help but the concierge staff only one of the lady was nice attending to me but the other malay guy staff just ignore when i said i want to check in.. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking.

The check in process could definitely be improved. Unfortunately our 1st impression was affected by the lack of clear queuing system. I ended up waiting for quite a while because I wasn't aware that there were additional counters available for check in. Meanwhile, several guests who arrived after me were attended to first, which was quite frustrating.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, ranging from main courses and desserts to both hot and cold beverages. I was especially impressed to find latte and soya bean drinks, which was a first for me at a hotel breakfast. There were plenty of options to suit everyone's taste, and my kids absolutely loved the selection. Overall, the hotel is conveniently located close to many restaurants, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to families and travelers looking for a great breakfast experience.

Breakfast was included in our stay. It had sufficient variety of oriental and continental style foods like scrambled eggs and Nasi Lemak. The hotel was able to provide the extra bed for our third guest at 90 RM, which is a good option for odd numbered group sizes. The room was relatively spacious before we added the extra bed. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge. The location was great, located a very short walking distance away from KSL Mall, perfect for those planning to shop or visit the night market on Mondays. Would recommend to families looking to visit the area. We were also able to place our bags after check-out for a few hours to shop around. Great service overall.

The extra bed was unfortunately a bit uncomfortable but the main beds were good and still a pleasant stay overall.

I think is time for them to renovate the room as it's like the old style abit.(superior room) Aircon seems to be a bit centralised and the aircon for my room airflow only goes to the left side regardless on how i change the temperature it will take a few hrs for the room to be cold. The TV in the room should input netflix or YouTube option.

I loved the room I stayed in, it felt clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained.

The floor in the bathroom is quite slippery. Please re-check the kiblat sign in evey room as we observe that the sign in two adjacent rooms were not standardized.

The hotel is just opposite of KSL which was very convenient.

Paid more and book the suite room. However, was disappointed with the hotel room as there was issue on opening the door when returning to the room every time. Called the staffs to fix it at night but it take hours. Till next day morning then they managed to fixed it. By the time, it was fixed we already leaving the hotel so no point.

When I arrived there to check in at around 2 am, I was attended to by foreign workers working at reception. I requested that my room be changed from a two single bed room to a room with a double bed. I don’t know how Holiday Villa trains its staff but the reception staff named “Azizul” seems to have no idea what a “double bed” means. He assumed a double bed is two single beds, when anyone who has ever travelled would immediately know what it means. To make it worse the staff rudely tried to “teach” me that the hotel either has a king size bed room or two single beds room. Important note here is when I actually went to the room, it actually has a queen size bed. I do not take kindly to being rudely attended to by an intellectually challenged and poor general knowledge individual who does not know what a “double bed” means and what king size bed looks like (I know because my home has several king size beds) and tried to act smart with me when he is clearly wrong. This hotel has to train its staff better. Aside from not being rude, as they do work in the hospitality industry, please learn what a “double bed” means and what a king size bed looks like.

This is quite funny. We stayed in premium suite. We did not know there is a button to frost the clear toilet window. We thought the hotel designer had some kinky ideas. Anyway, would have been better if reception staff informed us upon checkin. Also felt breakfast service staff could be slightly better trained to not block passageway and to give right of way to hotel guests.

I booked the Premium Suite for one night (Room 1301). Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience during my stay. The air conditioner was not cold even though I set the temperature to 15°C, which made it very uncomfortable and caused me to sweat while sleeping. In addition, the mini fridge was switched on but was not cooling at all. The room lighting was also too dim, and there wasn’t even a light above the sofa area, making the room feel quite dark.(at night) Considering the price paid for the Premium Suite, I don’t feel that the experience was worth the cost. I hope the management can improve these issues for future guests.
