There was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet in the studio we stayed in. It seemed to come from accumulated residue at the bottom. The main light was cool and quite dim.

Very loud street at night, while the windows ere not sound proof. The TV is only in Portugese. The matrasses on the beds were old and uncomfortable.

La cama no fue especialmente cómoda, la verdad.

I would recommend putting a second mirror in the room, since there’s only 1 in the bathroom, which causes inconvenience for 2+ people. Also, we were kind of misled, since on the photos was shown a balcony, but such was not in our room, nor on the final floor.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026I booked the roof terrace apartment (seems to be the best option in that specific location), and while it is quite hilly to get up there, the apartment was clean, functional, and had a beautiful view over the river. The surf was also great. They let me check in a bit early and also have my luggage at their central location (which is also beautiful and has a pool)
All was good.. but be prepared for some uphill walking

Die Erdgeschoss Wohnung war nicht gut. Lüften konnte man nicht, weil das Fenster erstens nicht auf Kipp verstellbar ist und weil es direkt auf Straßenebene war. Gardinen mussten zugezogen sein für die Privatsphäre und es gab keine Belüftung. Nachts waren die Straße zu laut.

Man muss wohl Glück haben um das Apartment im oberen Geschoss mit guter Aussicht zu bekommen. Ich hatte eines weiter unten. Die Terrasse war ein geschlossener Innenhof, war auch ok. Leider sehr hellhörig, das Getrampel der Gäste über mir war sehr laut durch die alten Holzdielen.

It was very dark in the room. When on the balcony we felt like we were at the bottom of a well :) No sunshine reached the window. The walls, floors or doors were so thin we could hear our neighbours very well. When they were at the stairs, it was very loud.

Quite expensive, especially when compared to other places we have stayed on the trip, but perhaps to be expected in Porto. Rather complicated process to access the apartment. None of the views in the booking.com photo.

Reviewed May 16, 2026L'emplacement de cet appartement est idéal. Dans une rue calme mais tout proche des quartiers animés de Porto. Accès facile de l'aéroport (environ 30 minutes en bus). L'aménagement est bien pensé.
La cuisine est pratique, mais il manque quelques condiments pour pouvoir cuisiner un peu (ne serait-ce que des oeufs ou des pâtes) comme du sel, du poivre de l'huile (aliments qui ont des dates de péremption longues).

Reviewed May 4, 2026Awesome location! Porto is very hilly but this was within close proximity to many things by walking. Comes with a full kitchen and has a balcony with amazing views.
Due to hills and narrow roads the uber couldn’t pick us up/drop us off directly at the hotel. The cleanliness was not up to my standard unfortunately. We saw 4 spiders crawling around, cobwebs, black hairs on the toilet seat. All very minor but definitely could be cleaner.

Super Lage, Supermärktli, Cafés, Bars, Restaurants alles in weniger als 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen.
Matratzen grenzwertig, etwas durchgelegen. Leider suuuper hellhörig. Nichts für licht- und lärmempfindliche Schläfer! Zum Glück draussen keine Durchgangsstrasse. Die Fensterläden schliessen kaum, das Fensterglas ist papierdünn, null Isolation. Sogar Essensgestank zog über den Gang in mein Apartment. Sehr stark knarrender Holzboden. Man hört wirklich ALLES von drinnen/draussen.

La vue, il n’y en avait pas. Un balcon entouré de mur très haut et peu de lumière. Beaucoup de résonance et des touristes non respectueux du bâtiment et de ses habitants la nuit.
