Die Lage direkt am Strand und der Meerblick , die wirklich hervorragende und vielfältige Küche , das gesamte Team sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist zwar schon etwas älter aber die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und die Zimmer neu eingerichtet.

Szép a hotel, szép helyen van, saját tengerpart. Nagyon jók a fő étkezések, bőséges a választék.

Nem töltötték minden nap a mindbárt, pedig ez benne volt a foglaláskor kapott információban. Csak akkor és csak egyszer hoztak bele italokat, amikor jeleztük, hogy már régen kiürült. Utána sem kaptunk feltöltést.

A legjobb hotel ahol valaha voltam.Minden tökéletes volt!Csak ajánlani tudom.😍

This is our 2nd stay at Melas Hotel. Last year we came and were very happy with our stay so came again. Great location from Markets and Side. Staff members were super nice with a smile everyday. Especially thanks to Bahar who made our room spotless every single day. She was so kind. And Ayse at the pool bar for her generous smile and great chat. The food was amazing with many different cuisines breakfast through dinner. The only thing that surprised us was that at Italian night there was no pizza! 😃 but more than enough of everything. Super clean hotel and worth the money. Overall an 8/10

The only thing bad was about the elevators. We got stuck twice in them and chose to use the stairs as it was scary .

The room was lovely, really modern and spacious and we especially loved the shower, it was amazing! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Standout for us was the spa. Although the spa itself looks dated and in desperate need of a renovation, I had 2 massages by Selma (don’t know if I’m spelling that correctly) and they were the best I have ever had. She is fantastic and I couldn’t recommend her more. Her knowledge and passion for her job are evident and she was so kind.

We moved to this hotel after wanting to extend our holiday but there being no availability at our original hotel and safe to say we were beyond disappointed. The pool area just looks very dated and depressing and needs an overhaul. There are only about 30 sunbeds around the pool itself and of course they are all taken by 8am. The food here is truly terrible. The selection itself is very small and we actually refused to eat there after trying the buffet once so had to eat outside of the hotel despite paying for all inclusive. We tried to have lunch once but there was barely any food left (we weren’t there that late into service) which for a hotel of this rating is just unacceptable. The hotel design is soulless and decorated in such a cold and unwelcoming way. The lobby area and bar have clearly been redone but everything is grey and depressing and the other communal spaces honestly seem to be from the 80s with dated floral sofas and upholstery? We were so disappointed and are just glad we didn’t have this hotel booked for the entirety of our stay.

I’ll start with the few good things about this hotel. The rooms are lovely, aircon worked great, shower was powerful and spacious. Selma who works at the spa is incredible and a true professional - one of the best massages I have had. The main issues are: the pool area is just not nice. It wasn’t dirty but it just didn’t look nice and there were not many sunbeds at all (all taken by 8am) so we never got a sunbed by the pool for our whole stay. The buffet is just dire. Nothing is labelled so you don’t know what you’re eating and there was a very limited selection. We refused to eat at the hotel unfortunately and ate out every night. Some of the hotel has been redone and modernised (in a very grey, soulless kind of way) whereas some areas are from the 80s with floral upholstery. Very strange place.

Le personnel est juste magnifique, mes sincères remerciements à Mustafa Varol, Emre Derin chef, Ramazan Ay, le manager Murat abi :) ils s'occupent tous très bien des clients et sont très accueillants et souriants, vraiment rien à dire sur le personnel, ils sont tous au top ! La nourriture est magnifique et ont régulièrement des différents concepts de cuisine ce qui est formidable ! Je suis globalement très satisfaite de notre séjour et suggère à tout le monde au moins un séjour dans cette hotel.

Il y a juste la connexion internet qui n'est pas au top des fois elle capte super bien des fois non. De plus, l'hôtel n'a pas forçément beaucoup d'activité pool comme dans les autres hôtels, ça peut être très vite ennuyant pour un groupe de jeune etc... L'Hôtel est très grand du fait qu'ils constituent un groupe, a première vue on a vite l'impression de se perdre mais on s'habitue très vite par la suite.

Location. Sand strand som är mycket rent. Gott om strandstolar , personalen vid stranden hjälper med glädje. Mycket bra och varierat mat. Mycket stora och rimliga rum.

Önskade att personalen pratar bättre svenska. En del gick inte att kommunicera med men vi fick vad vi önskade varje gång ändå. Spa priser är överdrivet höga , då det är min tredje resa till side på 4 år viste jag att det finns andra turkisk hammar med message för mindre än hälften av priset och med mycket bra kvalitet på message.

The hotel is located right at the seaside, having its own sandy beach. Water is crystal clear, and there are always enough sunbeds and umbrellas available. Being a couple we really appreciated the separated little 18+ area on the beach, so that the running around children are not directly yelling next to us. The hotel also has one big pool, great for swimming, never too crowded. There is also a neighboor hotel that has a small water-park, and can be used for the guests staying in Melas Resort. The property is huge, it takes quite a while to explore everything. We have even found a new-to-us beach bar (where they serve kebabs) after 2 days! The restaurants are great, food variety and quality is excellent, I especially loved the snacks that are available from around lunchtime. The services are also good, and the hotel has plenty of staff to help you any time you need. They are really nice people, working hard to keep the hotel clean, foods tasty and guests satisfied all the time. Our room was also very good, facing partially to the sea - but this might be even better than the full sea view rooms, as it is quite cool during the afternoon (which might be a relief after the hot beach). It is hard to say any negative, even some minor ones, but probably for future improvement is around elevators - they are a bit slow and hot during the day (being a tall builidn, you will use elevators going up and down the beach and restaurants for sure). It might be also a nice touch to provide some small bags for the beach towels, so that guests would not need to carry their own there (this is done at some other hotels already). We spent 5 days in this resort with my wife, and we both loved it!

A great experience, ITS my fifth time, and gets better every time. Thanks for all the staff dir wonderful welcoming. Fresh rooms, delicious food, the personel all have much Respekt and trustworhty. Animation Team does have fun Activities and evening Shows. Thus Hotel is Out First choice every year. Definitely recommended. I wanna thank for whole staff for their outstanding work

ALLES WUNDERBAR!!!!

Szuper elhelyezkedés, közvetlenül a tengerparton, nagy stranddal, sok napággyal. Külön pozitívum a strandon a kis, elkerített, 18+-os rész, ahova a kisgyerekesek nem mehetnek, így van egy csendesebb terület azoknak, akik ezt szeretnék. A szoba kényelmes volt, tágas és tiszta. Bár csak részleges tengeri panorámásat választottunk, szuper kilátás volt így is. Az ételek nagyon finomak, bőségesek, reggel hét és éjfél között mindig lehet valamit enni. A snackek is szuperek, valamint nagy az italválaszték. A személyzet barátságos, bármikor szívesen segítenek, és sokan vannak, emiatt nagyon hamar tudnak foglalkozni mindenkivel.

Két apróság, de egyik sem igazi probléma, inkább csak javaslat a jövőre nézve, ha van lehetőség fejleszteni: - a szobákban a francia ágy két ágyból van összerakva, így középen lesz egy aránylag nagy lyuk a matracok között. Érdemes lenne rendes franciaágyas lehetőséget is biztosítani, legalább a szobák egy részében - a liftek elég lassúak, főleg csúcsidőben, amikor sok vendég megy az étterem/strand irányába/ból, valamint a strand mellettieket egész nap süti a nap, így azokban nagyon meleg van. Tényleg apróság, de ha valaki nem jól viseli a zárt, levegőtlen helyeket, annak ez probléma is lehet. A lépcsőn sétálás pedig nem feltétlenül alternatíva egy 9 emeletes épületben. :)

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt im Melas Resort und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Besonders begeistert haben uns der außergewöhnlich freundliche und aufmerksame Service sowie die hervorragende Qualität des Essens. Die Auswahl am Buffet ließ keine Wünsche offen – auch als Vegetarierin fand meine Frau jeden Abend abwechslungsreiche und leckere Gerichte. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und in einem guten Zustand. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass Gäste des Melas Resort den Aquapark und die Sportanlagen des Melas Privé mitnutzen dürfen. Das erweitert das Angebot deutlich. Das Hotel ist angenehm ruhig, überwiegend von Familien und Paaren geprägt und richtet sich erkennbar an deutschsprachige Gäste. Wer Erholung statt Party sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team – wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Melas Resort uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Da wir mit unserem 9 Monate alten Sohn gereist sind, hätten wir uns lediglich gewünscht, alle À-la-carte-Restaurants nutzen zu können. Drei der Restaurants sind jedoch erst ab 9 Jahren zugänglich. Das war etwas schade, hat unseren insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck aber kaum geschmälert.

The staff was amazing. Pool was very clean. The beach was great. I didn’t have to wait for a table at mealtimes considering it was all inclusive. It wasn’t overcrowded like some hotels I have been to in the area.

Having to take an elevator to get to the beach, but it wasn’t that difficult.

Das Hotel ist in grau/beige/braun gehalten. Mir hat die Farbe gefehlt. Etwas türkis oder pink oder gelb würden den Eindruck fröhlicher machen.

The staff at Melas Resort Hotel were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. The food was excellent with lots of variety, and the overall service was great. Enjoy the day spent in the spa and wellness centre.

The only thing was I wish I could speak German fluent as there was quite a lot in the resort and not many spoke English.

Obwohl das Hotel auch schon in die Jahre gekommen ist, wird darauf geschaut, dass alles immer noch schön ist👍. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ebenfalls die Küche ist ausgezeichnet und jeder Gast findet etwas beim reichhaltigen Buffet für sich.

Hervorragende Lage, den ganzen Tag über ausgezeichnetes Essen, spätaufsteher Frühstück bis 11Uhr, Noch reichlich Essen nach 22Uhr noch vorhanden am Buffet, freundliches Personal

Die Reinigung in den Sanitäranlagen könnte genauer sein, zum Beispiel unter dem Rand des Waschbeckens, die Toiletteanlagen beim Pool, die Sauna müßte mal saniert werden. Unnötig finde ich der strenge Umgang von den Aufsehern mit dem Servicepersonal. Das Personal ist von sich aus schon sehr motiviert, einen Tag mehr Freizeit zur Erholung wäre eine gute Entlohnung und noch mehr Motivation statt die ewigen Ermahnungen von "oben"!

Alles perfekt! Lage, Hotelanlage, Zimmer, Sauberkeit, Essen und Service! Massage-Service hat dann alles noch 👍😀! Dieses Hotel kann man nur weiter empfehlen!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Gartensitzplatz, Whirlpool und Meersicht, alles war einfach genial. Die Angestellt sind super freundlich!!!

We loved all meals, and people who work at the resort restaurant even recognized us, the staff was super friendly and nice, and caring. We appreciated that. We also love the whole territory, nice and green. Although the water slides were way better before. Now they are in the middle of strong sun, no shadow, no shade, nothing. But in general we love Melas.

We were shocked in a bad way when the staff said to us we cannot get any Ayran at the Village buffet near the pool. Nothing like that happened last year. Sorry, but people are going around and having food and drinks at the pool bar in the resort and in the village, it is normal, it is same premises, same owner, money goes to the same place. Further, as I said above, a new location for the water slides is not good b/c it does not have any shadow, children being under a very strong sun all the time is not good at all.

War wie bereits beim letzten Mal alles Super. Egal ob Reinigungs- oder Servicepersonal, alle waren sehr freundlich. Besonders Zeki macht einen tollen Job, er ist immer gut gelaunt und sehr aufmerksam. Schon alleine wegen ihm kommen wir gerne wieder ;) Das Essen war jedes Mal Top und die Auswahl riesig.

Le personnel était incroyable. La nourriture était trop bonne. L’hôtel était propre et bien situé. J’y retournerai absolument.

Zentral, Strandnähe, das Essen

Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war nicht ausreichend da es Zentral betrieben wurde. Man konnte nicht die gewünschte Temperatur selber festlegen. Es gab auch so gut wie keine Animationen. Die Betten und die Couch sollten auch bald erneuert werden, die waren uralt.

I have been in many hotels in Antalya but this hotel has been the best so far. From the start, they welcome you warmly at the reception. Especially Dilara is very kind and she has a huge smile on her face all the time. Our room is on the 6th floor , room 1644 and has a garden view. We partly can see the sea as well, bonus! Mrs Ates has been making our room ready for us every single day with lovely decorations. Your towels are replaced, mini bar is topped up, tea and coffee are stocked up. You don’t need to chase after anything! Our room is in a quiet area, lovely! The food is delicious! It’s not repetitive. Fresh food, fruit, salads, pastries are served all day long. Cocktails are made with original spirits. There are everything that you think of, you name it -they make it😊 My son says he has the best milkshake here! The sea is the warmest part of the Mediterranean sea. Hotel has a private beach with both sand and shingles. Non stop food and drink service carried on at the beach as well. Aqua park is in the next door Melas holiday village. Short walk , not a problem. Last but not least the STAFF! They make our experience lovely. Every single one of them whom I came across was so kind, friendly and helpful. They are doing a great job and making this hotel different than others. I really hope that they are being treated well and fairly! Huge thanks to Yasin, Idris, Cemile, the guys at the beach bar, the waiter who served us at the fish restaurant! I am so regretful that I can’t get all of their names. But thank you so much! Highly recommended!

Loved this hotel- one of the best we've ever stayed in. Incredibly generous: all-inclusive doesn't usually mean drinks are actually included, but here it is. Cocktails, beer, water, patisserie and ice creams all day! Food quality and choice is exceptional - one day I counted 75 different desserts, not including the fresh fruit choice. Amazing location on beach, massive pool. Superb friendly service. A++++++++++

The hotel next door has loud music late at night, but that's not the fault of Melas Resort hotel.

Hotel and all its surroundings are very clean, very looked after beach too. Nice and very spacious hotel room with very comfortable beds. Every night I had a good sleep. Restaurants a la carte style. Food is very good , everybody will find something they like to eat. Every night is different cuisine in main restaurant. I liked atmosphere in this hotel also because its very European guests and their very well behaved family members. Staff is very friendly, very hardworking even during days when temperatures reach over 40 degrees Celsius . You are being served in no time. My parents and me with my partner , we had fantastic holiday here. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Melas for great experience, thank you behind the scene hard working staff in the kitchen I loved the food and cakes , thank you for clean dishes, thank you all waiters and waitresses, thank you man on the beach who cleans sun beds and put the parasol up. Thank you lady who kept our room clean. Location wise, very convenient to anything you want to do, eat out , shopping, sightseeing , Turkish bath and also there is a bus stop outside of the hotel hop on and enjoy very cheap ride to Old Side Town. Honestly I don’t know the price we paid like 1€ per person.

We really enjoyed the stay with my family. The hotel is nice and has all major amenities one can think of, food was great and diverse, service was good. A lot of people are complaining about the staff not speaking English and while indeed they are more comfortable with German, we didn't experience any issues with speaking only English. It is a great value for money.

This is a minor one and not really related to the hotel: Our room was facing the entertainment area of the hotel next door and it was noisy until late in the night because of the programs running there. Nothing too disturbing, we could sleep but if someone is expecting peace and quietness, the all inclusive concept is not the right one for them.

Very friendly employees especially Fatih. They always help people when needed and don’t let anyone feel left out by trying to include people in activities we loved our stay here and the staff were amazing

The hotel was literally a family hotel. There were no staff constantly trying to force you to do something (boat tour, jetski, etc.) or trying to sell you something. The food was very varied and delicious. The location was good.

The guest weight of the hotel appeals more to the elderly. I guess that's why, although the entertainment organization of the hotel was perfect, all entertainment and activities were over around 23.00 in the evening. In addition, there are rocks in some parts of the hotel's sea, but I think this is not a negative that can be said to the hotel management.

Great food 10/10, hospitality, fresh hotel rooms and very nice staff that assist you before you need it. Also a special thanks to Ali Murat and Fatih who was great entertainers at Melas Hotel. Close to the beach and good pool size with volleyball almost every day at the beach. Would choose again :)!

The location is amazing, there is a private beach with soft sand and calm waters, just a few rocks here and there. The buffet is big and changes everyday. Rooms are spacious and well kept. It cools very fast as well, which is important on hot weather. A good variety of free cocktails and bevarages.

Elevators are always behind at least one step of stairs, which makes very hard for people carrying child trolleys around and making it impossible for disabled people. Staff mostly speaks english, but some only speak german. They have south american birds being paraded around for photos, most of those animals elseshere have their wings clipped to not fly, could be the case here. Doves were used for a magic show. Also we found three cockroaches on the first floor with one inside our room which we had to kill. Too many kids around and not enough chairs by the pool, we had to ask twice for extra chairs, as people reserve the chairs for the whole day by leaving their towel in the morning.

We spent a few days at this resort and overall had a good time. The food was absolutely delicious – it changed every day and we truly enjoyed every meal. One of the highlights of our stay was the free upgrade to a suite with a jacuzzi, which we really appreciated! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning sea view. The beach, however, is beautiful and well-equipped, and we appreciated the towel service provided by the resort. In short: amazing food, a wonderful room, and a peaceful atmosphere – but not the most exciting place if you're looking for activities or a younger crowd.

The resort itself is nice and well-kept, but we were expecting it to be a bit bigger. There’s only one main outdoor pool, a kids' pool, and an indoor pool – although the indoor one is closed during summer. As a young couple, we felt a bit out of place at times since around 90% of the guests were older adults or families with children, and there wasn’t much to do for younger guests. Even the staff would often speak to us in German, which made sense given that most guests were German.

I was very surprised and pleased to see every little thing was taken care of .. like there was even cotton buds in our room, the cleaning ladies were all friendly and ours made us smile every day with the towel figures. The room was big compared to other hotels we’ve been and there’s really good sea side view. Every staff was so friendly. Then there’s the entertainment team .. omg, I’m so impressed, thank you guys for breaking my boredom, we had so much fun going out with you and finally replaced the horrible memories I had last year from Kusadasi with beautiful ones than I can now remember Turkey by

Even though the staff were all friendly, you should consider learning more English than Dutch, I mean I understand 90 % of your guests are German but I’m a Bulgarian and when I go somewhere abroad, I don’t expect anyone to be talking my language, it’s simple respect to others and their language. So because of the language barrier we often ended up in awkward situations or couldn’t even order simple things, like warm water because it seems no one understands what warm is or cappuccino, for which I received 3 in 1 instant coffee with a lot of water

Another excellent stay for our parents ( Bushra, Ismaiel) at Melas. We have been coming for many years now and the hotel always lives up to our expectations. The food and service is excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and efficient including Derya, Melek, Hasan, Yasin, Zeki, Fatima, Fehriye as well as all the others.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Melas Hotel—by far the best stay we’ve ever had. The hotel itself is stunning, and the amenities are top-notch, offering everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, ensuring every detail was perfect. A special mention must go to the Kids Club, run by Nadia and Elif. They were incredible with the children, offering a wide range of fun and engaging activities every day. Our kids absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait to go back each morning. It really made the holiday even more enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommended—we would definitely return!

We truly recommend this hotel, the staff is an incredibly kind, helpful and very welcome. The rooms are very clean, wide variety of food and very tasty. Fatih is very friendly, kind and provide very good entertainment. The hotel is located in very good place and beach is very clean.

Melas Hotel , Side, Turkey I stayed at this hotel for the last week in February 2025. It was my first stay at this hotel, although I have stayed many times in neighbouring hotels. I was greeted at reception and was immediately made to feel welcomed. The checkin process was quick and efficient and I was served with my choice of drink as I waited to be taken to my room. I connected to the hotel WiFi almost immediately using a very simple process. The room was spacious and clean with a bath/shower and a safe. An unusual feature was the provision of beach/pool towels in the room as opposed to the more common practice of a card system. The towels would be replaced, along with the dirty bath and hand towels if you simply left them on the floor. I could request my room to be cleaned and made up each day unless the "do not disturb" sign was hung on the door The food was buffet style and served in the main restaurant at various times throughout the day, encompassing breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Hot and cold beverages (including alcohol),were served at table by very well trained and courteous waiters. The quality and variety of the food was excellent.There was always an amazing choice of soups, fish, meat (clearly not pork),pasta,rice, vegetables salad ,cheeses and vegetarian. There were nightly themes at dinner (e.g. Italian, Turkish....).the sweet and pudding stations were truly amazing. There surely must have been enough choice to suit everyone. Service in the lobby bar was excellent. Being out of season , the bar was very seldom overcrowded and table service was usually very quick.Even during busy periods the hotel provided enough staff to keep waiting times quite reasonable. The bar staff's knowledge of cocktails and various drinks was impressive in all the hotel bars. The lobby bar provided 24 hour service. The bar staff were more than happy to make you a cocktail according to your instructions. I commend the hotel management for this and most other services which it provides. Entertainment was fairly low key. The animation team was rarely seen but provided an adequate program considering the time of year and pretty much in line with the normal expected activities such as poolside aerobics, darts, Turkish lessons etc. Nightly entertainment consisted mostly of live music and dancing. I have to say that one or two of the groups were excellent. Of course, it's all a matter of taste. The hotel does point out in its own publicity that people who have mobility issues may find negotiating around the hotel challenging. I will try and describe the layout with this in mind Like most hotels in the area the ground floor ( lobby, reception and restaurant) is accessed from the main boulevard which runs past the hotel driveway. This hotel driveway is quite long and steep in some parts. This presents a challenge if you have mobility issues. However, in my case the hotel provided transport to the main gate and back when I needed it in the form of a porter driven electric buggy, as a courtesy. I cannot be certain if this would always be the case. The beach is at least 150 ft (my guess) below the ground floor reception area. There are lifts in the hotel. At one end, near reception, lifts visit every floor above the conference rooms( which are one floor below reception) and floor 9 (5 through 9 are floors containing guest rooms). The main restaurant, lobby bar, reception and shops make up the ground floor. To reach the pool and beach areas some stairs cannot be avoided. Usually one flight connects the lift to the next level. The lifts at this end of the building stop between floors flights of stairs connect the lift to one floor above and one floor below. I have moderate mobility issues. So for example; to access the pool and spa area I found the best route was to exit the lobby floor at the restaurant end and descend one floor using two flights of stairs. An alternative was to descend one flight of stairs use the lift and ascend one flight of stairs. Access to the beach was more challenging.from the pool area there are two lifts which are accessed by means of a staircase of around thirteen steps.Once at beach level there are still steps to be negotiated to reach the bar and the beach itself. The toilets in this area also require using steps, as does the amphitheatre. Although I found access to these areas challenging, I was not prevented from getting to and fro on a daily basis. I can imagine, however, that for guests with more serious mobility issues there would be significant difficulties. To be fair to the hotel, I emphasise once again that they are quite upfront about this. Most of the hotels in the area have similar layouts where some parts of the hotel can be accessed only by using steps. In summary I would thoroughly recommend this hotel subject to the mobility restrictions, to anyone requiring a relaxing holiday with great service and excellent food. I believe that the hotel also has a holiday village complex adjacent to the hotel which, I am informed,is better suited to families with children.

Reception not helpful...booked sea view and did not get one ...either my parents...other thing is that entertainment is so poor I mean really poor and boring...the other hotel next door was killing it so I highly recommend their neighbours. Also everyone speaks to you in German which found it a bit irritating specifically from staff.

I’ve travelled all over the world. This hotel does not warrant a five star at all. It’s enormous the grounds are lovely but it is not a 5 star. Pros: staff in eating areas friendly ( not lounge bar) the lounge bar staff especially the waitresses are downright rude. Sorry Melas, nice location but wouldn’t re visit. TIP: if you are British or English speaking don’t go to this Hotel.

We were on a family vacation at the Melas Resort Hotel in Side. Hotel was very clean, food was excellent, staff were so friendly and the outdoor spaces were beautiful. We enjoyed very much. We will definetely come again and can warmly recommend the hotel.

Really nice pool facilities and the range of food available is next level.

Language - Having more English speaking staff (barman/reception) would help as it is a global language.

We’ve just come back from our first stay at the Melas Resort Hotel and it did not disappoint. There were 5 of us - myself, husband and 12 year old son and my parents in their 70s. We arrived for a 10 night stay in August and reception staff were fantastic. Very helpful and could not do enough for us. My Dad’s case was left in the UK by the airline and the reception team were super helpful in calling the airport and getting updates for us. The rooms were brilliant. A very good size and plenty of room for clothes. We were on the 5th floor, the first one above the pool. The balcony was amazing and looked out over the beach. The buffet restaurant was great - we had lots of really nice food. Having been to Turkey resorts a number of times, you can sometimes get bored with the food. However, it’s not the case at the Melas. The food was varied and very nice. We also went to the Chinese Al a Carte restaurant which was fantastic. 6 courses of amazing food. The pool is good, great location. There are a number of loungers but they can get taken early. The slides at the sister hotel (Melas holiday village) are also great and worth going to. We ate at the beach bar most lunchtimes for a break. It’s waiter service and there is a separate menu which is also really good. Drinks at all the bars are second to none. Loads of options including international brands. The staff in the whole resort are just brilliant. Special mention to Melek Ekici and Fatama Ata who made us feel very special and looked after us at each restaurant. I would absolutely stay again at this hotel. Just one thing to note - there are a lot of stairs due to the location of the hotel. There is always a couple of flights to go up or down even with the lifts, which may not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

We stayed at Melas Hotel Resort as first time tourist in Turkey. The hotel was much better than what we expected. Cousy, comfortable and very clean. Loved the gardens and space around it. I mean you can eat fresh oranges from the garden! Room was spacious and clean, minibar and cleaners visiting every day. Hotel pool it is big enough and did not even for a minute felt as a “fully booked”hotel. One of them hotels where people don’t fight for loungers by the pool and you could find one available most of the days even at 10-11am. The way they organise meals and activities give tourist the opportunity to show up on their own convenience and same time offer a nice way of not getting facilities to be overcrowded. Food was excellent and quite varied. My husband is quite a fussy eater and one of the reasons why I chose this hotel was for the good reviews of cleaning and food hygiene, which they were right. Sandy beach, enough loungers sea side pretty safe even for children(not steep shore). Staff were amazing, always smiling, the only down side of all was that not many speak English, but it did not bothered us much as they tried really hard to make us comfortable. Entertainment was good in most of the nights, kids entertainment quite good, but our son is not keen in those things so I could not be very precise in reviewing this. Maybe some of Turkish culture to be introduced in their nights would be lovely. Lovely cocktails, good selection of drinks, ice-cream and fresh smoothies and juices ( lemonade was delicious, nothing like that I tasted before). And overall their beach bar/sea side day restaurant is something to die for: amazing! I would definitely go back and planning to do so next year. And I could say I will never remember all the good things to mention here about this hotel.

for couples, you have to take into account that you sleep in separate beds because the two beds are pushed together and fall apart, this is a very big minus, there could still be one bed!
