Breakfast a bit small . Left on Sunday and they were short on bacon. Only two guests were served with bacon.

The guest house was clean and generally well presented on arrival, but overall my stay was average. The room at the very back was quite poky. Visiting in winter, the non-functioning air conditioning made it uncomfortable, and the bed was not particularly comfortable, which affected sleep quality. The TV was also unavailable during my stay as it had been sent for repairs. Unfortunately, this was not communicated to me at check-in or in advance. I only found out later, even though my friend had apparently been informed as she bumped into the staff on duty the next morning. Better communication would have helped manage expectations. Overall, a fair stay. If you just need a place to sleep and can deal with a few minor issues, it may be suitable, but improvements in maintenance and guest communication would make a noticeable difference.

The property is located very well amidst vineyards in a good area.

More privacy. Rooms are adjacent to each other in a kind of house set up. You can hear every word your neighbours say. Furnishings have been upcycled perhaps more than once. Parking is also extremely tight, especially for big vehicles.

What a nice place! Got a free upgrade to the bigger suite too. Only thing was that the bathroom floor is VERY slippery.

Chantal and Charmaine were wonderful, warm and attentive to my every need. My room had a private balcony, walking steps to a glistening pool and lovely garden. My king bed was super comfortable and the hot cooked breakfast to order was such a comforting touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

I had a lovely time with my wife and daughter, after having a terrible experience at a different guest house(House on Plein), I contacted offices at De wingerd wijnland lodge AFTER HOURS! And a lady was ready to assist she made us feel welcome and helped us get in and settled as soon as possible, great service and Hospitality throughout our stay. We will definitely be going back.

I stayed in a small room but it was perfect and exactly what I needed. The two ladies Charmaine and Chantel are super friendly they will ask you what you want and when , they work around your schedule. Clean , homely I cannot wait to return.

I stayed with my daughters for two nights - they loved the pool, and I appreciated the room overlooking the pool to supervise. The owner and team were helpful and friendly, rooms had all amenities needed, and the location was perfect. It has a suburban feel, but is a pleasant and safe ten minute walk from the excellent Noop restaurant, with vineyards just down the road.

Awesome stay. The owner went out of hus way to make sure my stay was amazing. Staff are friendly, i slept like a baby and the breakfast was delicious.

This was my second stay here. The room was smaller than the one before - but still good. The staff are always great; helpful and accommodating, and the environment quiet and pleasant.

It was a very rainy day. The patio, even though under cover, was waterlogged. I missed a door mat for wet feet inside the room.

I liked the terrace and the pool (though I didn't use it), the generous fridge and the comfortable bed. Good shower too.

We stay there for 4 nights. It was a good choice and we will come back as soon as possible😊Stefan the manager and the two women in the b&b are very helpful and give us good tips for the area. Breakfast is normally and good. It’s very quit to have a good sleep.

The location is stunning with a very beautiful garden and views of the mountains, absolutely stunning and very quiet! Breakfast was good and the lady assisting me very kind and helpful. Pricing is very reasonable/

Nothing I could think of concerned me. A dropbox could maybe be considered for keys when leaving very early.

What a beautiful place in Paarl. Two ladies are running this well maintained Lodge, and they are doing an excellent job. If I have to stay in Paarl again this will always be my 1st choice. Thank you Chantal & Charmaine.

The only thing I didn't like, was to leave, but De Wingerd Wijnland Lodge will definitely see me again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was just too short! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and I loved my bath! The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a super breakfast before departing in the morning. Would highly recommend staying at De Wingerd Wijnland Lodge!

The Eskom Load-Shedding was really bad while we were there... which meant no air-con for a few hours at a time etc. Not the lodge's fault, but unfortunate...

There was no braai facility for guests who stays in the rooms. Braai erea only for the self catering guest. No microwave to warm your food. I've been to many Bed and Breakfast accommodation and all of them had a braai area which could be used by guests.

Just one rubbish bin in the bathroom, one more in the bedroom would have been useful.

Everything about the property was lovely. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and roomy. The breakfast was beyond expectations. Sorry that it was only for one night. We would definitely stay again and recommend it highly.

Closing the doors was very noisy even though we tried to be quiet. Hopefully we didn’t disturb anyone.

De Wingerd Wijnland B &B was exellent value for money. Set in a beautiful location in the older part of Paul, it was an amazing experience. The room was clean, neat, and had a beautiful view over the pool. We had everything we needed, for a fraction of the price of other fancier places. I highly recommend this place. It’s absolutely perfect in every way. Also of note, is the staff. Very helpful and friendly.

Power went off at 10am but first day in SA and will get used to it. If I’d known the timing I’d have dried my hair before it went off !

We had a magnificent stay. The accommodation was superb, the staff courteous and friendly and the setting was magnificent. We look forward to another stay. We highly recommend the Wingerd Winjnland Lodge.

It is very well situated. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. There is a beautiful garden with a great pool. The service is excellent and breakfast is very good and substantial.

The welcoming from Chantelle was excellent. I received my keys and remote. My room was very clean and tidy. Charmaine was very friendly and my breakfast was perfect. I will definitely recommend this guesthouse to my friends and family. Thank you very much.

What a beautiful quite small place in Paarl, which are managed by 2 lovely and friendly ladies, who makes you feel at home. Thank you to Chantal the manager who are really 24/7 available to help you. Me and my family will most definitely come back.
