Paarl mountain lodge is a very nice place to stay. We received a very warm welcom. The staff welcomed us with warmth

Die Gastgeberin und das Personal waren sehr freundlich! Die Gastgeberin hat uns toll über verschiedene Ausflugsziele informiert. Auch eine Restaurantreservierung würde gerne für uns vorgenommen. Die Aussicht vom Esszimmer und der Terrasse war genial!

Das Zimmer war etwas klein. Was uns am meisten gestört hat waren die lauten Geräusch nachts. Evtl. von einer Pumpe o.ä. für die Wasserversorgung!? War wirklich sehr störend! Der Garten und das gesamte Haus müssten evtl. einmal renoviert werden. Der Pool war nicht ansprechend und ungepflegt. Wir wollten diesen so auch nicht benutzen!

The warmth and hospitality shown by the hosts were amazing. Truly the nicest people! Location was good (amazing views) and the bed was comfortable.

Bedrooms were tiny due to the fact that desk was in the way and curtains on sliding doors were dirty. Bathroom needed some TLC

Really Comfortably beds and and very friendly staff.

The furnishings were old and not inviting. Mold was on the ceilings and the tiles were yellow. The water in the drain did not drain. And in general the furnishings were very old. The pool was not inviting and slightly dirty. Breakfast was ok but not as described more like a youth hostel. The garden was very chaotic and the dogs pooped in the garden.

Nice location and view from the property.

The room didn't match really the photo on the website in terms of space, good condition of furnishings and bathroom... found the room to feel old, paint peeling off, shower dilapidated and dirty, TV just basic channels and the location of the room not very nice. Parking is a problem and due to thin walls between rooms, you hear everything from the other guests in adjacent rooms. Guests smoking outside posed a problem, cause you end up getting all their dirty smoke.

The view is excellent and I liked the effort upon receiving us. Very patient with their clients👌

Bathroom accessories e.g soap holder was rusty but rather than that everything was excellent 👌

Our host was superb, very helpful. We had a pleasant stay, big and comfy bed. It was a cold night so we really liked that the room has an aircon. Very good is the save parking in the parking area. Fantastic view in the mountains from the breakfast area. It is a quiet location.

Especially the bathroom needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance.

Breakfast was perfect for me. (I am not a big eater as such but what was offered was certainly more than enough should I have wanted more. And the variety was also great.

Absolutely everything! Annette and Brian were amazingly accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, even the smallest requests were happily dealt with. Rooms are spacious, clean and very well equipped, with a lovely fragrant atmosphere.

Great location with stunning views of the mountain, town and local vineyards.

Annette was so friendly that we felt like home. The room had a good size and the bathroom was big. The breakfast was amazing, and they did the hot meal as you liked. The location was easy to go to different vineyards and there are good restaurants nearby. We highly recommend stay there.

My room was looking very tired, ceiling in bathroom sagging and extractor fan clogged from years of lint build up.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts. A beautiful location with great views from the dining area or around the corner.

It's a functional b n b in a pleasant area. The people running it were very accommodating.

The breakfast could have been better- it was cooked but a bit cold, there was a cafetiere but no real coffee. It would have been nice to have the terrace open. But threse aren't major issues.

The breakfast was superb. A great selection to choose from. The owner is very attentive and friendly. I stayed at Paarl Mountain Lodge before, hence booking there again. the owner is very accomodating. I would most definitely recommend.

Linette was so warm and welcoming. I had allowed my 9 year old to pick where we stayed and she chose it because of the views from the dining area. They did not disappoint. My kids cannot wait to visit again.
