Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Zentral gelegen aber nicht mitten im ganzen Trubel, Hervorragender Ausblick aufs Meer und Umgebung.Parkplätze trotz vieler Besucher am Strand Immer vorhanden. Uns hat es rundum gefallen und wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.
Frühstück hätte abwechslungsreicher sein können. Jeden Tag genau das gleiche ist dann doch etwas zu mager.

Some little things to make the stay better would be to have proper beach umbrellas and chairs on the beach. They only had 2 umbrellas and both were tiny and broken. The throw pillows on the bed were stained. The bed was hard as well as the pillows.

Das Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen und es war nicht wirklich sauber. Haare von vorherigen Gäste lagen rum. Für diesen Preis haben wir mehr erwartet.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Cheiro a humidade e bolor nos cantos do quarto. Os colchões devem ter uns 30 anos de uso. A esponja da cozinha era muito gasta e tinha cabelos presos. Os edredons não tinham capa de edredon e estavam sujos. O meu filho sofre de asma e alergia aos ácaros (pó) foi nos impossível ficar aí e tivemos que ir para outro hotel com melhores condições básicas. Ao referir o assunto na recepção apenas lamentaram e disseram que não poderiam fazer nada! Paguei 1050 euros por 5 noites que não usufruí e sem nenhum tipo de reembolso ou pedido sincero de desculpas pelo incómodo por parte da gerência !

Mye bråk fra kjøretøy i gatene. Orker ikke å spise på de restaurantene som lå på andre siden av gaten for det var for mye støy. Bussene var ikke til å stole på og livsfarlig å gå i gatene så ble mye taxi og dyrt.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand mit eigenem Zugang zum Meer. Die Zimmer haben Meerblick und man hört das Meeresrauschen. Es wird täglich das Zimmer gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Es ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Service ist hervorragend. Sollte man eher frühstücken wollen wird einem auch das ohne Probleme möglich gemacht. Die Auswahl zum Frühstück ist auch sehr gut. Wir empfehlen das Hotel sehr gerne weiter.

Really poor breakfast. No quality. We went for good coffee across the street and organized our own breakfast. Infrastructure can do with an upgrade. Sound isolation can be improved. Cleanlines can be better. The humid atmosphere probably doesn't make things easier, but fungus in the shower and on the curtains does not give a good impression.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026The hotel is right on the beach so you can listen to the waves throughout the night. The staff at the reception desk was nice. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel and in the evening, there's usually no problem in finding a space. The
I didn't expect the third bed to be a sofa bed, it was a bit problematic to sleep on it as a person who's 180cm tall. A couple more sockets in the room would be better. As far as I could see, the only way to get to the dining room for breakfast is down several flights of stairs, no lift.

Každý den stejná jednoduchá snídaně z nejlevnějších surovin, malý výběr. Čistota v koupelně - plíseň mezi dlaždicemi, neodtekajici odpad ve sprše.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Le lieu de l'hôtel! Sur la plage, tout juste magique, balcon face à l'océan, il suffisait de descendre qques marches et nous étions les pieds dans le sable! Salle de déjeuner face à l'océan (baie vitrées)! Assez central pour les différentes visites dans l'ile, tout proche de l'animation de la capital Ponta Delgada Facile pour se garer
Ce n'était pas pour ces raisons qu'on a choisi l'hôtel donc les petits points moins positifs sont des détails: un déjeuner assez classique et une chambre grande et confortable mais peu lumineuse. Le grand plus de la chambre, avec le confort est le balcon face a la mer avec sa table chaises et ses transats! Sperbe! C'est aussi un apart hôtel, un studio donc possibilité d'utiliser la petite kitchenette!

Everything in the hotel is past its sell by date. The door fittings are warped, the mattress really ought to be replaced and all the lighting is cold white.

Es dürfte etwas sauberer sein und es ist halt bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem sind sie dort sehr bemüht. Geputzt wird zwar jeden Tag.

Je vidět, že hotel je už starší, na recepci je cítit desinfekce, na chodbách to zapáchalo po odpadu. Snídaně chudší, ale dostačující. Byli jsem jen na jednu noc, u delšího pobytu bych se asi už ošívala.

It was easy to get anywhere from the hotel whether going into Ponta Delgada for sight seeing or out into the hills. The staff were very kind and attentive. They answered all our questions and helped us out. They're very diligent about cleaning.
I expected the ocean to be noisy but the room had some quirks that made it louder. On top of the waves the wind whistled in through some cracks and kept us up at night. Bring ear plugs! The beds were really hard unless you like a firm mattress. The bathroom also had mold in it and everything generally smelled of mildew when it rained a lot and was humid.

O pequeno almoço poderia melhorar um pouco. Fruta fresca. As laranjas das saladas de fruta tinham muita parte branca e caroços.

Jak už v recenzích bylo zmíněno. U snídaně chybí zelenina, jakákoliv. Dále v přístroji na nápoje měl být ananasový džus, ovšem na něm po celých 9 dní byla cedulka, že ho zrovna nemají. Zajímavé, když na ostrově mají plantáže. Pokoje jsou ušmudlané, dveře do kuchyně nešly zavřít, v koupelně byla plíseň. Při příjezdu po 16h nebyl náš pokoj připraven. Měly jsme objednaný pokoj s dvěmi oddělenými postelemi a dostaly jsme na první noc jednu postel s přistýlkou a na zbytek nocí nám rozložili gauč. Povlečení bylo bílé ovšem mělo na sobě různé fleky. V třipatrovém hotelu je k dispozici i výtah, ale jeho využití je celkem adrenalin. Člověk neví, které tlačítka, případně v jakém pořadí, je zmáčknout, aby výtah přijel a ještě lépe aby se rozjel a následně nás pustit ven. Podotýkám, že první a také poslední jízdu nám ukazoval pan recepční a ani jeho výtah neposlouchal. Personál byl jinak milý a ochotný. To je společně s lokalitou jediné, co bych vyzdvihla.

La cuisine est très petite. Le petit déjeuner n‘est pas très bon.

The appart hotel is way lower standards than it announces. The room and the hotel itself are very very outdated (probably from the 90ies) the room are big with a little kitchen and a sea view. Second problem the basic cleaning is done every day but not neat and the terrassé was full of sand with a dirty balcony glass when I came in. I asked for a clean, nothing was done. I don’t know how they wash their bedsheet but I developed an allergy (crying eyes when I would be on the pillow). What more ? Avoid paying for that breakfast and horrible breakfast place. The food isn’t fresh, bad light, and the woman there empties your table as soon as your stand up. They overcharge clothes cleaning fee. (But price announced on a notice posted on the wall of the bathroom. Employees are noisy and the room have very very thin wall. And the beds are not comfy AT ALL. I don’t recommend for you to stay there m. there is way cheaper places downtown.

Frühstück mit wenig Auswahl. Das Hotel riecht stark nach Putzmitteln. Die beide Decken von Bett waren fleckig.... Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen.
