Meguro Holic Hotel

I wish I had the advantage of recent reviews before booking because unfortunately I had to leave my stay mid-way and book another hotel. The property is showing its age, with peeling wallpaper. But what was most concerning was mold in the AC system, raising concern about potential for mold in other areas; this created a smell in the room that I was unfortunately uncomfortable sleeping in. There was also the smell of sewage throughout the lobby and into the rooms during the stay which later unabated but was still present, un-addressed by staff. I was forced to check out at 8pm and book a stay at another hotel--the staff member apparently did not think that this was strange or ask why I was checking out. I also had a package to be delivered to that hotel the next day and was told that I could come back to pick it up. When I came back the next day another staff member told me that because I was no longer staying there, they would refuse any shipments in my name--he did not attempt to help me call the shipping company or rectify the issue. Headed to the airport, I lost my expensive souvenir. Overall I would not recommend staying here, and am very upset I booked as it ruined this part of my trip.

Hotel is fairly nice. Was thinking it is a bit overpriced, but not a bad hotel. Rooms are not big, but fine. The only bad criticism I have about the room is the too large table, that doesn’t leave much space in the room and its sharp corners. If you put such a large table in the middle of the room, guaranteed, people will bomb their legs at it, and will get injured. A table with more round corners and not sharp edge is advisable. Breakfast is changing every day, so first day, was quite good for me. However, on the second day, I couldn’t find too many items that I want to eat. Amenities are nice. Location is good too.

駅やお店からも近くとても便利です。 ホテルも綺麗で満足で、夜の滞在にはぴったりですが、窓からの光があまり入らず、昼間滞在する時には選ばないと思います。

Séjour agréable au milieu du quartier MEGURO . Pas de petit déjeuner continental à l’Europeenne uniquement un petit déjeuner Typique Japonais avec riz , maquereau et miso soup .

チェックイン前の荷物預かりの対応がとてもスムーズで丁寧でした。

施設内はキレイでモダンインテリアに統一されていてとても良かったです。個人的にはシャワールームとトイレが別々な所が最高でした！また利用したいと思いました！

Good location near Meguro Station and Yamanote line. Lots of restaurants nearby. Sewer smells in hotel. Beds are punishingly hard. Can’t send luggage ahead to next destination from the front desk. Have to go to the local convenience store down the hill.

また行きたいです！

Location is convenient, next to two streets, which are full of small restaurants and bit far from JR station. The facilities is old, ceiling wall paper is chipping off, tv remote control is out of control. Others are fine

一人でリラックスしてぐっすりと休みたかったので利用させてもらいました。 おかげさまでとてもリフレッシュできました。

This property was rated well but didn’t meet expectations. The lobby smelled of cigarette smoke and the decor in hallways and rooms was dark and unusual. Our room was not particularly clean and the queen bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The queen room was small which can be common in city hotels but there was barely enough room for two people with luggage to move around in this room. Of the four hotels we’ve stayed at in Japan, this is the only one that lacked cleanliness, comfort and courtesy.

広さや設備内容的にコスパは悪い気がしますがきれいです。

The staff was amazing and very friendly. The front desk spoke English very well, as someone who has very limited Japanese. They go above and beyond with their service. The room was also very clean and comfortable.

Great location overall to get away from the hustle and bustle especially during peak seasons. Short walk to Meguro station for quick trips to all the key stops on Yamanote line. Hotel was modern, clean, and served us well. Small rooms, but that’s expected - you’ll only be there for a good nights sleep after exploring the city. Would stay again.

Fantastisk frukost, trevlig och hjälpsam personal som pratar utmärkt engelska, bra läge - nära tunnelbana och små trivsamma restauranger. Lite svårt att få plats med packningen i rummet, men det var inget stort problem. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell!

Charming hotel in a great location

Very close to the train station

チェックインの際にお掃除の説明がされず戻るとお掃除がされてなかった。説明をしなかったお詫びもなかった。

エレベーター降りて客室フロアがなんとなく排水管臭かった

こ綺麗で、スタッフのサービスはとても良かったです。立地も完璧。隣のベーカリーも最高。必要なものは全て手の届くところにあります。部屋はかなり狭いです。

I had an easy check in and easy check out. Very good japanese breakfast. Bed was a too hard for my liking and had trouble with the TV as it was all japanese. Very convenient to where I needed to go.

There is not major shopping and venue in this area. But it’s hidden gem in small town. I liked this hotel.

The bed was insanely hard. Pillows also kinda sucked. It seems like a hybrid love hotel / business hotel. 4 minutes from the yamanote line is a plus. And there are a lot of yummy food near by. So if your are able to just grin and bear it, the hotel is serviceable.

地理位置很好，隔音也不錯，備品很貼心，還有微波爐， 但房間內設置販賣的小型飲料冰櫃，運轉聲音比較大！

Overall the hotel is convenient (near the Train station) and clean. The room I booked was large by Japan standards and I loved the whirlpool bath. The bed was very uncomfortable. I like a firm mattress but this was like sleeping on the floor.

The ambiance and some of the features of this property were outstanding. However, there were problems with execution and follow through when informed of the issues. I would not recommend a stay for more then one or two nights. The location is very convenient.

車で向かった為，提携駐車場に駐車しました。 ホテルからは，少し歩きましたが一泊1,200円の駐車代でした。助かりました。 携帯の充電器を忘れて，貸してもらえました。

The facility and room were very clean. Lots of amenities are available at the lobby. The location is excellent, close to many small but great quality bars and restaurants. Very quiet and easy to rest.

This hotel is an option worth considering if looking for somewhere outside one of the major prefectures. The hotel is quite good and I’d be happy to stay again. It’s priced well and very close to Meguro station. The room is spacious and lots of little free amenities at your disposal. Just a couple things I wish I could change was the bed was very very hard and the tv stopped working after the first night.

Close to Meguro JY Line very easy to get around. Rooms are a little small but we really only slept in them. Too busy just to hang out

Meguro is beautiful. As much time spent out of the rooms is best. I was afraid to touch anything, it was so unclean, and the hour and two-hourly rates advertised on a standing billboard out front added an extra cringe factor to the mystery stains on the walls and bed head. Nowhere to put luggage or clothes despite the size of the room advertised being the same as other Tokyo hotels that provided ample/logical storage space. Walls were thin enough that I could hear my neighbours all night. Wired, frosted window and low ceiling incredibly claustrophobic. Conveniently located, but that’s it for this hotel—a shame as Meguro is one of my favourite areas in Tokyo. The bakery next door is a MUST.

We had a nice stay in Meguro at this hotel. The neighborhood was awesome and the hotel is very close to restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and train/bus station. The room was comfy, especially the bathroom. We only wish the lobby or public areas were a little more engaging for socializing.

電話で問い合わせしたときは、近隣のコインランドリーを紹介してくださると言われたのですが、フロントで問い合わせると、知りませんと言われました。電話の件を伝えても知りませんの一点張りで、調べようともしていただけませんでした。

ホテルの目の前にスタバがあり、近くに有名なデザート店もあったので楽しめました。部屋も広々し、ジャグジーもついていた為、のんびりできました。

いつも安心して利用しています。地下にライブハウスがあるので、演奏中はドラムの振動が気になります。

駅近でいつも利用。アメニティも充実している。

感触的には悪い意味で外資っぽい感じです。

加湿器が汚かったので、綺麗にしてほしい

The hotel is convienentely located 300m from Meguro Station. The room was beautiful. I especially enjoyed the Jaccuzzi bathtub and 65in TV in the room! Only issue I had was with the bed, which was a little too hard to my liking.
