Beautiful views all around. Finishings are upmarket and everything you need is catered for.

Wish there was a fireplace. Shower pressure could have been better.

We had lovely views, and we had the opportunity to have a private area for our dogs

If you had to share the property with other people, and you have your own dogs, it might be an issue as they are not disciplined or aware to keep the main gate closed

Wow! What can I say, apart from should have stayed longer! It was the perfect stay for our weekend in Clarens, and we would love to stay there again. Despite the July cold, we were warm and cosy the entire time. Absolutely lovely!

Entrance from the road to the driveway. It’s not good for a sedan-like car.

Vlakbij het centrum wat op loopafstand is en zelfs ‘‘s avonds in het donker prima te doen. De bedden waren heerlijk, goede douches en een bad. En het allermooiste was het uitzicht

1 minpuntje was dat het warme water redelijk snel op was dus dan moest de volgende even wachten om te douchen

The location was just far enough outside of town to give you an incredible view, but close enough to the city centre so that you could walk where you wanted to go. The cottage was very cute and comfortable. 10/10

Everything thing about the place. The place is clean and quiet, staff is very friendly, wow the coffee and milk was the cherry on top

I liked the open unit and big bathroom. I liked the heaters that were given as it was cold and no fireplace inside unit. The kitchen facilities were perfect for what we needed. The bed was amazing and super comfortable, warm and really big. Loved the colours in the unit. Loved we could take our dog with. Dstv, internet.

The one curtain couldn't open as the tie was broken. A fireplace would of been ideal to give that warm feeling. The unit above us was very noisy and woke us up daily early hours with constant moving furniture and walking back and forth which made it difficult to wake up naturally and relax esp as we were there for that.

Need more light outside by the patio steps and parking, it was very dark, we had to use a flashlight. We got lost, the name is not visible in the dark, and the lady who WhatsApp us the instructions does not answer when you need assistance. Main bedroom: Toilet leaking Plug next to bed is faulty Warm blanket one side did not work

Aside from the bathroom railing, there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang any extra things. The bathroom needed a couple more hooks

The place was great, very clean and comfortable with amazing views and so close to the Square and golf course.

The toilet in the main ensuite wasn't working on arrival but was fixed the next day after I reported it. The outside light was also not working but we only found out at night after we started braaiing. The cleaning lady was really rude and unhelpful when asking her simple questions.

Excellent location within walking distance from the city center. Facilities were well kept and everything made available (e.g., kitchen utilities, towels, linen). Professional yet friendly communication from owners and staff.

The place was big and clean. The view was beautiful. The yard was secured for the dog.

Loved the apartment, views and how safe it was.. check in was easy and host was very responsive.

Simplicity, comfort, 2 bed on suite bathroom is excellent, not many around. Beautiful view.

Location is too close to the squatter camp, is noisy with lots of people walking past the unit while trying to relax on the balcony. Children begging. Started running out of gas.

The only let down that most self catering places have and here not was COFFEE! Just put 4 coffee pods - would’ve been lovely.

The booking process and response to inquiries were quick, and we were well informed about where to collect the key, etc

Upon arrival, however, our excitement was slightly dampened by the room. It was a bit smaller than expected (the photos are quite misleading), and there was a horrible smell lingering in the room. I reported this, and the owner said she would send someone the next morning to pour something down the drains. In the biting cold of Clarens, we had to leave the bathroom windows wide open after realizing the smell was coming from the shower, which was blocked and overflowing. Even the tiles next to the shower were already loose. The owner claims that the cleaner came the next morning (while we were out), but the shower was still overflowing. The smell was slightly more bearable, but I'm not sure if that was due to the open windows or because someone actually cleaned – we couldn’t smell any cleaning products or chemicals. Fortunately, we brought a small heater with us, as the oil heater in the room didn’t stand a chance against the Clarens winter.

There was a coffee machine, but no pods available for the coffee.

Lovely room with all the necessary amenities, the room was much bigger than expected and everything else was perfectly fit to provide a comfortable stay.

Not enough toilet paper was provided, we only got 2 rolls to use for 2 people over 4 days.

The location! Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and not far from the buzzing little town.

WiFi was erratic. Kitchen Utensils (especially cutlery) need to be upgraded. Often times the gate would be left open, as the property is shared. There are lots of people walking past, and we had a vagrant peering in, that was unsettling from a security point of view.

Location is fantastic and we had the most comfortable stay.

The property is large and had a lot of space for the dogs to run at. The view is amazing. Secure and spacious parking. Overall the place was clean and neat

Nothing, I LOVE this property.

The place was spacious. Kitchen facilities were available. We are not planning to cook but the place made changed. It was so cool and cozy which helped us to bond as a couple. Bed was comfortable. The host was reachable and communicative.

Bathroom had a bad smell. The carpets were very dirty especially the one in the bathroom, I think the smell was caused by it though I'm not sure.

Het uitzicht van dit huis was prachtig. Als je vertrekt vanuit Clarens ben je heel snel in The Golden Gate natuurpark. Heel nette voorziening en ruime living en slaapkamers.

Was a great accommodation. Communication went smoothly.

The door was hard to open and close and some furniture already had seen some better days but you got everything you could need and in a great location to visit Clarens.

This property has the most beautiful, unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains. Well equipped, stylish, spacious, comfortable and secure. Will definitely stay nowhere else when visiting Clarens in future.
