wunderbares Frühstück, sehr schöner, gepflegter Garten mit diversen Sitzgelegenheiten, eine überaus freundliche und kümernde Gastgeberint, alles top!

Es liegt mitten im Busch und ist abgeschieden von der Stadt. Viele Dinge sind sehr liebevoll gemacht. Ein Hochsitzterrasse mit einem tollen Blick. Ein sehr gepflegter Garten und Böcke, die außerhalb des Zauns laufen. Wer Ruhe mag, für den ist die Unterkunft mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft sehr geeignet.

The property is in a rural location, but close to Rustenburg. The quietness, punctuated by birdsong, was just lovely and so relaxing after a long haul flight to Joburg. Nice swimming pool and gardens. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice and it was good to have the option of an evening meal, which was delicious home cooked food. Marnice and Jan Piet were welcoming hosts.

Breathtaking views and a fantastic host! The space was beautifully kept, the location was perfect, and the host went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional - fresh, delicious, and a perfect start to each day. I would definitely return.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, es ist sehr ruhig dort (größere Entfernung bis zum nächsten Ort) und man kann auf der ehem. Farm beim Spaziergang Vögel und andere Tiere beobachten, Möglichkeit der Selbstverpflegung, tolles Frühstück und auch die Möglichkeit, ein Abendessen zu bestellen.

We were attending a competition in Rustenburg and we ran very late. The hostess was accommodating and worried about us, which made it feel like we were visiting family. Even though a bit of a drive out of Rustenburg (only about 20 minutes out), it was a great choice to have some rest and relaxation after a day of competing. May daughter absolutely loved staying there and wants to go back to get some hours next to the pool. The shared spaces are open and welcoming. Breakfast was ready for us at 6:30 as we had to make our way back for another day of competing. We will most definitely be back.

Extremely friendly approach of the owner, very polite , kind, personal... this is what we like...:)we arrived late at night, stayed just one night, after we woke up, we thought we were in a healing oasis...very relaxing environment, well cared garden with perfectly clean swimming pool. The breakfast was also very good, served fresh...thank you for this pleasant experience and stay 😊

We stayed two nights and had a wonderful experience. We felt very welcome and were so well taken care of during our stay by Marnice, Dorothy and Henry.The property is lovely with a lot of trees, birds and animals, the room and bathroom were super cosy, the garden and the pool are great and the breakfast was awesome. We felt like at home and would definitely come back!

Boubou Bed and breakfast is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts offered us an evening meal on our arrival which was really delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and it is a great place to stop between Johannesburg and Pilanesberg game reserve. We would love to stay again!

Wow our expectations were achieved at Boubou but the real gem was Marnice,We had a yummylicious breakfast! We also celebrated my daughter s birthday at Boubou with style thanks to Marnice and Dorothy the setup was top 5 and the cake was so delicious!We had unforgettable stay at Boubou !

Bou went beyond my expectations and delivered a more than expected breakfast after telling her I am not a big breakfast fan and she can just leave some fruit salad and joghurt, she did not do that she made me eggs and bacon and Toast nice healthy toast. the second morning I go a fantastic jam filled omelette with all my favourite contents. The rooms were clean, the towels were fluffy and white and they had enough blankets for the one nippy night. it is a safe and very secure site and actually the perfect spot for a small family weekend in the bush and it is pet friendly. will definately visit them again

From start to finish (even whilst on business), I felt like I was at a home away from home. Staff were lovely, and Marnice made my stay so comfortable. A place not to be taken as an overnight, such a good place to relax and enjoy nature (the birds were stunning, even during winter)! Thank you again!

We had such a lovely stay at Boubou B&B. The staff are exceptional. Was delightful to watch the game feeding and drinking water. A very tranquil and pleasant place to stay. Both dinner and breakfast were very good.

The garden surrounding the house is absolutely gorgeous! there’s a large pool and the facilities are great. Marnice, the hostess, is very welcoming and helpful.

We felt like we were in paradise from the first moment. Communication worked great, we had direct personal contact with Marnice and were able to clarify some questions in advance. A warm welcome with a delicious dinner and a lovingly maintained guest house with a beautiful garden rounded off our stay. Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but we will definitely be back! Thank you for this lovely experience.

It is a beautiful place located in a serene area, perfect for a getaway, especially from the busy city life. A quiet place to relax and enjoy the pool by the deck. The food is amazing. I enjoyed every bite. The hosts are friendly and always ensure that your stay with them is satisfactory. Staff is friendly, always greeting you with a smile and seeing the animals graze is the best. Especially the birds chirping to round your experience of serenity. All that is missing is freshly baked cookies, but neitherless you feel at home.

The host is very very pleasant. she made us feel at home, starting from the calls from the day before we arrived and the day of the arrival, she kept checking on us and advising us on the road status. the rooms are super clean, spotless. Its very quiet and peaceful, with a view of animals here and there. Breakfast was awesome with very friendly staff. Would definatley return to this place some time soon.

To be honest, there was nothing not to like. Everything was great!!

Yoh I liked just about everything. From the location... Peaceful and homely. Marnice the host and her staff, so warm and welcoming. They called to check how far we are before we could even get to the property. She communicates so well, I sent her a message a day before and she responded within an hour and also sent an email and the location again on WhatsApp. She is such a warm soul. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and spotless. For us tea lovers it was a bonus because you have your smalletjie kettle and teas and sugars and milk... Thebreakfast is actually a buffet. There's a variety of food to choose from, Dorothy the chef, 😊 she's a sweetheart and also the gentleman taking care of the yard was really friendly. There's a braai area for meat lovers. The pool was always clean. And a breathe taking view from the upstairs varanda my goodness, you can actually view the mountains and wow, it was breathe taking. If you love nature like me, you definitely should make a turn here. There are also "calmer" 😂😂😂wild animals like the impala, squirrels, kudus around. Not to forget pets lovers like my daughter❤️😘, she fell in love with their beautiful dog, meinkie (pardon my spelling). She's such a social dog but only if she notices that you also give her attention😅😅😅. They bonded so well with my daughter. What a wonderful stay we had. Keep up the good work guys. Large fully equipped room

The property was quite far out of town so we felt we needed to eat at the property. I mistakenly didn’t agree the cost in advance and it turned out to be more expensive than other places we stayed at.

We spent our first two nights in South-Africa in Boubou, Marnice and Jan-Piet made us feel at home immediately. Evenings and nights are very cold, but very cost near the fire in the dining room and the electric warmed duvets in the bedrooms 😍. Jan-Piet and Marnice gave us a lot of tips regarding or stay and our trip! Dinner and breakfast was very good!

The property was very clean and the gardens etc were well maintained and a place where you could relax and listen to the amazing bird life and see the various game. The host Marnice was always on hand and made us supper and breakfast. Both were very good. Communication was also excellent with the host.

The location is not for everyone, as it is rural and about 20 minutes from Rustenburg.

Breakfast was excellent and extremely generous. The location is great with a real bushveld feel. Many antelope wondering around inside and outside the property and varied bird species to be seen (and heard).

The road that we took may have been an issue if we did not have a high-clearance vehicle (bit rutted and muddy in places due to recent rain). Would recommend that future patrons be warned of this, or directions for a better route be provided.

The house is in a beautiful garden area and surrounded by nature. A highlight for us was a little private game drive through the farm next by where we could see Oryx's, Buffaloes and much more. We felt also very welcomed and the everyone at Boubou is so friendly! Wish we would have more days there.
