Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Peaceful, the outside shower was a great experience , the chalet was clean and the staff cleaned it again on our second day while we were out, the breakfast had a lot of variety, Kgomotso at reception was always ready to help and was of great service.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026The Chalet we chose was absolutely amazing, and the private shower outside tops everything else. The scenery is great. We are definitely holding our wedding reception here next year. My partner can't stop talking about the breakfast, mouthwatering.

I end up been changed from the room I book because there was no hot water i booked for 2 people they prepared for 1 person, they made me to wait for a plumber before I take a shower I,I waited from 07:00am to 12:00 pm,last night I didn't sleep well because of a noise

Checked in at 6 pm – staff were not courteous or receptive, felt like a task to be accepted for our stay. The restaurant had little to no stock of food or drinks and "closed" two hours before formal stated time. Room's TV only had three working channels. Awful shower head.

The only concern I have is that the gentleman gave us the wrong room. We booked a Chalet but we were given room nr 5. I did not realize it at the time because we arrived late. The room was not bad but the chalet would have been better with the bath and outside shower.

We left not long after we arrived. Door locks were not secure, air con didn't work, rooms weren't clean and damage furniture . Safety deposit boxes weren't fitted - just left loose in the wardrobe. The pool was filthy

The rooms were far from parking and we had to carry luggage far.There were no aircons in the more expensive rooms with one little portable fan.Room was adverised with braai facilities and it was far from our room.Television channels were not adequate and signal bad.Wifi was not available in premium rooms.There was a party scheduled for second day of stay and we were not impressed so we cancelled that night and lost money.Not impressed at all.Not what was adverised

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious but right next to the communal lounge / patio area and they had guests sitting outside until late at night and hanging out right in front of my window - would have preferred another unit away from the main building. The breakfast was nice but filter coffee would have been nicer than the sachets of coffee on offer
The shower door wouldn't close and as a result the floor was soaking wet and the wardrobe door fell off its hinges when opened - it was only put on as to look like it could open and close but it was completely loose. The soap dispenser in both the shower and at the hand basin was almost empty and difficult to use. The room was close to the reception so in the morning it got a bit loud with all the breakfast prep and staff movement. The complementary WIFI did not work.

Some rooms weren’t refreshed and cleaned and toilet paper wasn’t replaced in them as well, especially the bridal suite.

More attention to detail by cleaning staff. I am writing this as a person who cleans high end hotels. Mirrors should not show water stains and mold on grout should be attended to.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2025I loved the warm welcome we got from Kgomotso,he made our stay super nice.Attentive,friendly and made sure we were well catered for from the check-in until we left.We had forgotten something in our room,he personally called us to return to fetch it.He gave wonderful service.
We were at Room 18,we experienced shortage of hot water as we took our morning showers, especially if we were to hear other guests showering in their respective rooms, after some time when we want to shower within minutes we would end up having cold showers.

The shower is outside. If it was cold we would have not been able to shower. The toilet does not have a door. Someone who is sitting in bed can hear you do your business.
