Everything was excellent!

The breakfast was lovely, fresh produce with freshly baked pancakes, with a special surprise on the 2nd morning, Soohie is a great cook!! Sophie and Gilles were brilliant hosts, very welcoming and friendly, the rooms were very comfortable and the area was very quiet, would have liked to stay longer.

Only thing I can think of is would have liked soap/hand wash on the bathroom sinks

Free off street parking, a short walk to queen street and the shops, a short drive to wineries, a clean room and bathroom, a quiet house with a beautiful backyard, but the most amazing thing was the hosts and the incredible breakfast they would make each morning. You could see that they genuinely love hosting people and treated us like family. I would go back just for their breakfast

The breakfast was absolutely excellent from the presentation to the variety and care of using local products. The location was perfect embedded in the community and close to all.

This was a uniquely wonderful place to stay in a uniquely wonderful town. Just perfect. A beautiful house, exceptionally clean, comfortable and fabulously appointed, Sophie’s completely home made breakfasts were out of this world.

La Maison de Sophie is a true gem; located close to Queen Street shops and restaurants in a quiet neighborhood. The B&B is quaint, tastefully decorated, extremely clean and bright. Sophie and Gilles are wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. Sophie is an excellent cook. Breakfasts were a delicious blend of her passion and creativity for haute cuisine. Don't pass up an opportunity to stay at La Maison de Sophie!

Location was great for walking everywhere in town. Hosts had information, maps, coupons and recommendations for our trip. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was very comfortable. Breakfasts were great.

La Maison de Sophie was on a quiet road close to the Main Street. We had a warm welcome to the house, and our room was clean bright and had everything we needed. Every morning we were greeted with delightful home made breakfasts, which were absolutely delicious

The home/property was impeccable! Very clean, spacious, comfortable. Sophie & Gilles took it to another level with their hospitality! They were so gracious and welcoming. They appointed the rooms so well - all the comforts of home, or just ask! Although we did not take advantage of their gourmet breakfasts, they made special accommodations for our early departures each day. We could not have asked for anything to be done differently. This is an exceptional property and is managed very well by the owners. Sophie’s creative touches throughout made this a very charming, memorable experience. We will definitely recommend to friends & family.

We did not have a dedicated parking spot, so had to coordinate parking with other guests. Not a problem, just something we usually don’t need to do.

My husband and I felt totally at home. The whole place was very clean. Our room was wonderful. The detail for all our accommodations was over the top. The owners were wonderful. Our breakfasts were perfection!!!!! We both loved the town. We will definitely go back.

Everything was exceptional from the owners, lovely Sophie and Gillis (hopefully, I spelled correctly). They were extremely hospitable and informative. The rooms were immaculate and decorated beautifully. Sophie's breakfasts are all homemade from muffins, cobbler, souffles, bacon......need I say more. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at Maison de Sophie - the room was very comfortable and we got to enjoy two delicious and inventive breakfasts. Sophie and Gilles were superb hosts and gave us lots of great recommendations, including wineries, shops and activities. The communal snacks/drinks fridge was also a nice touch, especially as it was very hot and humid outside.

The hosts are lovely. They are interesting and interested in others. As an added treat, they have munchies and drinks available at all times. The sitting room off the eating area was perfect for our family to come together. We were fortunate that for one of our nights we were the only guests at the house so it wasn't a problem with us coming together in the sitting area. The breakfasts were delicious. Sophie is a fabulous cook and baker.

The location was great. There was room to leave my car and we were able to walk to all the theatres and restaurants.

Wonderful Experience! La Maison de Sophie is an awesome bed and breakfast! We enjoyed an elegant two night stay in an upper level room which was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and included a private bathroom. It felt like our own private oasis. The property was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. It was centrally located, offered free parking, and a short walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Property owners, Sophie and Gilles were wonderful hosts; everything was perfect! They made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. Sophie prepared the most amazing gourmet breakfasts; always beautiful detailed and presented. Both were very friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations of wineries and local restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for sharing your home. There was nothing that we did not like.

The hosts were tremendous with a beautiful, clean property and wonderful, homemade, hearty breakfast. The hosts were also very knowledgeable of the area actions and restaurants. This is one of the best facilities that we have ever stayed at for a bed and breakfasts.

A television in the one room would have been nice, but it was not necessary.

The location was very central, the rooms were very clean. Everything was thought out very well, i.e. the essentials were in the basket for us. BreKfast was beautifully presented & delicious . Sophie and Gilles were very personable and made our stay very enjoyable.

Breakfast was a culinary treat each morning. Sophie takes such care to prepare food that is delicious, fresh and reflects her French cultural background. As a foodie, I really appreciated the trouble she went to , to prepare breakfast every morning.

Delicious breakfast and accommodated my gluten free request. VERY close to ALL tourist destinations. Great advice on winery destinations from the owners. I would HIGHLY recommend.

The soap & shampoo dispensers in the shower were very hard to use. I wonder if the liquid inside hadn't partially evaporated, leaving the residue very viscous . . .

The house was in a perfect location within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The backyard was beautiful and had several areas to sit and relax too.

Breakfast was incredible. It went way beyond any expectations I had. Very gourmet and healthy, local farm to table ingredients and unique (soufflé, crepes). Sophie is really a wonderful French chef! Sophia and Gilles are very friendly and accommodating hosts and offered excellent dinner, winery, and other recommendations. The location is great. It is just a short 5-8 minute easy stroll to Queen Street so no need to drive there and pay for parking your car (assuming you are able to find parking). We also enjoyed relaxing in their beautiful and well equipped back yard. Just an overall wonderful experience.

Nothing we didn't like. Consider putting a cup in bathroom for rinsing mouth/taking medicine and a bench to sit on to put shoes on by the front door.

Sophie puts more into making superb breakfasts than anyone I have seen over 25 years visiting NOTL.

The breakfasts were different every day and each one was exceptional. The hosts were anxious to please, helped us with our luggage and checking in and checking out were quick and easy.

Our room was cold and there was no thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature.

The hosts were wonderful - kind and informative and fun to talk to! They also recommended a winery where we had a fantastic time - definitely take them up on their recommendations! The food was delicious both mornings and there was great conversation with the other guests. There were always snacks available and the backyard was a lovely oasis with lots of options and areas for seating. It was a short walk, just a few blocks of beautiful houses, to downtown.

Sophie is an amazing cook and puts so much thought, creativity, and passion into her food!! Gilles and Sophie are amazing and attentive hosts. Gilles also fired up the pizza oven and grilled us Sophie’s fruit pizzas which we ate outdoors in the lovely backyard. Breakfasts were delicious and fun!

We absolutely loved everything! Clean, great location. The breakfast was outstanding but the best of all was the hospitality. Sophie & Gilles, the best host I've ever had. They are special. We arrived as guest, we left as friends. Thank you! Merci! Gracias!

We liked everything!

Sophie prepares excellent, innovative breakfasts. Our suite was very spacious, lots of room for our stuff. The B&B is a short 3-4 block walk from the Main Street, Queen street, and the Lake Ontario shore.

The Owner’s were terrific. Breakfast were outstanding but very rich at times.

The room was very small but a lovely bathroom. A little too far from the Shaw Venue. Pretty price.
