Our room were given to us super late because the computer system was down so we got our rooms until 8:40 pm

A special shoutout to DOMINGO!! Mr. GOLD STANDARD!! Incredible hospitality and a true gentleman. Welcomed me with a warm smile and guided me with the right amount of patience and kindness that speaks volume of this place!! THANK YOU!!

I was continuously greeted professionally at the front desk by David, Domingo, Eva, and Waldo. They are pleasant and helped me with my requests. They are an excellent "face" for the Embassy Suites as they work up front. At breakfast Linette and Tomas are ever there to accommodate all needs. Irene and Esmeralda (chefs) definitely make your meals "cooked to order". Very professional place with lots of tremendous staff that make you feel at home. Or as Linette says, "It's better than home because of all the comforts you receive!" I agree!

Clarissa was incredibly helpful. My grandparents don’t speak English, and she made everything much easier for them. We truly appreciate her kindness, patience, and support.

Domingo was amazing with helping me change my room type at the last minute! He was very welcoming and made my family's time at your hotel great!

Enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks when we arrived and at breakfast, server was very friendly and helpful. He heated scrambled eggs for my sister and kept checking up on us. Room very clean and comfortable. We have stayed here 2 previous times because we had great experiences before.

All good. Only thing was that room was not ready for us at 3pm. I believe we didn't get the room until close to 5pm. However, we had our complimentary drinks and snacks while we waited so no worries with the wait.

A month ago I spent two weeks in McAllen working on a large project. I did not stay at the Embassy Suites but the rest of my group did and I spent a fare amount of time there meeting with my colleagues. Even though I wasn’t a guest there the staff was always very welcoming. Most notably was Vanessa G. that works in the little lobby bar. This week we are back in McAllen for our project and I am staying at the Embassy Suites. I made it about two steps into the lobby before I heard Vanessa call me by name and was waving hello to me. Because of staff like her the Embassy Suites is my go to hotel now.

El hotel en general está exelente

Nada todo exelente

It’s to close to airport, if you were downstairs the airplane sound was loud and in the 6 flloor the room feels.

Overall great experience here. Our waitress Clarissa provided us outstanding customer service during our breakfast meal. Will definitely be back.

Had an amazing breakfast with my husband. 🥰 Our waitress at breakfast made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend to come see Clarissa.

The free breakfast was horrible

Clarissa is super sweet and helpful! She deserves a raise !

I recently stayed at this Embassy Suites and had a very positive experience overall. The service truly stood out—the staff was consistently kind and helpful throughout our visit. A special shout-out to Clarissa, our waitress on day two, who went above and beyond to make our breakfast enjoyable. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious; I highly recommend ordering the fresh omelet and pancakes—the cook, Juan Pablo, was fantastic and very welcoming. The dinner service was equally friendly and attentive. The housekeeping team was amazing and kept our room in great shape. My only minor note is that room service felt slightly deprioritized during our stay due to preparations for a large event at the hotel, but it didn't significantly impact our trip. Overall, a great place to stay with wonderful service!

El desayuno. Muy bien. Los frijoles muy ricos. Duda. Olvidé algunas cosas en la habitación. Estaba en la 512. Me las podrían guardar. Ya estoy en México. Pero vuelvo pronto.

Vanessa at the bar was extremely friendly and welcoming. She was very attentive, and made sure that I was taken care of. If I ever had the chance to come back to McAllen, I would absolutely choose the embassy because of Vanessa!

Everything!!!

The music

Nothing

The Embassy is our usual go to place when we go to Mcallen. It's not the cheapest, but the happy hour and breakfast gives it value. The hotel is clean, inviting and you feel safe. I want to give a shout out to Josue Mercado. He was very attentive and professional. We will be back.

Great Location! The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The morning breakfast was a little lacking. The melon was day old to say the least and the biscuits were hard as a rock.

The hotel amenities

Na

Todo muy limpio

Always a great place to stay.

The property was nice and clean. The staff were very helpful with anything that we requested. I would definitely stay at the Hilton Embassy Suites or any other Hilton Hotel.

None

very good stay

Going to Embassy has been a spectacular experience. The food was amazing and the wait staff were on point, especially Clarisa that was an amazing waitress and person overall. Definitely made my experience a lot more homely and amazing, will definitely come again.

he location was great and the extras (like breakfast and afternoon snacks and drinks) were an added bonus. The staff was genuinely nice, so it was a good stay.

In the room, there were no towels or cups for drinking, nor was there a blanket to use on the bed - for peoeple who may need a little extra covering. We had to ask for things that seemingly should have been in a hotel at this pricepoint. T

I liked the great service and beautiful facilities. Also the happy hour with the pizza and good breakfast.

La Habitación

Todo me gustó

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen Convention Center, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this location. Upon check-in, it was immediately clear that the room had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom was in poor condition, and to make matters worse, the shower drain was clogged, making it unpleasant and inconvenient to use. Later during our stay, after attending the evening reception, my family and I attempted to enjoy the pool and hot tub—one of the main amenities advertised. Unfortunately, both the pool and hot tub had vomit in them, making them completely unusable. This was not only disgusting but unacceptable for a hotel charging over $200 per night. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of customer service and follow-up. I attempted multiple times to reach management, leaving my name and number with the front desk, but received no response for over two weeks. When I finally spoke with the manager, Edward Hernandez, the situation was handled very poorly. He stated that nothing could be done unless I had photo evidence of the vomit in the pool—an unreasonable expectation—and offered no compensation, refund, or even loyalty points. For the price paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. The hotel is poorly maintained, and the customer service is even worse. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites locations across the U.S., and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. DO NOT STAY HERE. AVOID THIS DIRTY, POORLY KEPT HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

Vanessa the bartender is great. 100% would go again if she’s working the bar.

Had a fantastic stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen Convention Center. Everything about this place was top-tier—from the clean, comfortable rooms to the overall atmosphere. The staff was amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and always on point. The happy hour was a great touch, and the made-to-order breakfast was phenomenal… easily one of the best parts of the stay. You can tell they really care about the guest experience here. I’d definitely stay again without hesitation!

The hotel itself is beautiful. Everything is relatively new and well-maintained. However, it’s packed with large families and children, and the stay feels more like being at a daycare center than at a business Hilton hotel. For families, the hotel is certainly one of a kind. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet and a good hotel where you can sleep soundly and enjoy your stay, this isn’t the place for you. Children stomp around and run through the hallways as if it were a playground. The rooms are clean and very spacious. A standard room category is sufficient, as all rooms are identical and there are no differences between the categories. The "Premium" option simply means you get a few snacks delivered to your room, worth about $10. So it’s not worth it. For large families with 2–3 children, this hotel is certainly wonderful. For everyone else, it’s not suitable. Check-in takes forever because long lines form. The staff shows no interest in speeding up the process. I arrived at 3 p.m. and had to wait two hours.

I’ve stayed at the Embassy Suites in McAllen multiple times, and one person who consistently stands out is Ivonnia. I first met her when she was working as a bartender, and she always provided excellent service with a warm personality and genuine professionalism. Recently, I saw that she is now working at the front desk, and she continues to deliver that same high level of service. Ivonnia always greets guests with a smile and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. She is attentive, respectful, and clearly committed to helping others. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only professional but also truly genuine in how they treat people. She takes pride in her work, and it shows in every interaction. Employees like Ivonnia make a big difference in the overall experience of a hotel. Embassy Suites is fortunate to have her on its team.

Went for dinner and drinks and both Vanessa and Aaliyah were exceptional bartenders…

The waitress Clarissa did a really good job at attending to us

Great support. Clarisa was so attentive during our meal. Highly recommended

The pool was amazing

Nada

Oh my goodness, I loved everything!!

There was not one thing that I did not like.

Atmosphere and staff were great!

Not a thing!

Josue, Domingo, and Ivania work together to assure every customer receives the best customer service. They are prompt to answer calls, respond to chat to confirm room is ready, inform of social hour along with our Diamond member benefits of late checkout approval.

We always stay at this location. To be honest, we stay here because of the house band. Once again we were disappointed they weren't showing up until Saturday!

Over all everything was very nice. Happy hour drinks are our favorite!

The breakfast is amazing. The staff at breakfast was always friendly and great. The whole ambiance of the hotel was very inviting.

This was twice we had small issues with either television or network problems but the staff took care of it immediately this time around.
