Die Herehuis

Herehuis is clean, cosy and safe. Staff friendly and helpfull. Had a nice stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a great dinner. Food was excellent !

We stayed for the night on our way back home, the rooms were comfortable, the staff is friendly and the food was delicious.

Check-in was easy and friendly. The rooms were extremely comfortable and were fitted with everything you need. Practical, comfortable and elegant. Meals were fantastic and the lamb shank exceptional.

What's not to like

Dinner and breakfast available at the apartment. This is good because the room does not have a kitchen area, although there is a microwave and a fridge and some crockery and cutlery available.

Everything

Nothing

Safe parking within view of my room.

As said before this is my favorite guesthouse. Everything you need is there

The absolute best staff ever.

Nothing to complain about

Nothing to complain about

Was a fantastic stay. Thanks.

The Breakfast was a fix menu @R 195.00 which was a large breakfast. if you could have a choice of a standard breakfast.. that would be a win.

The day we arrived , it was raining and the parking lot was full of water .No drainage , water just sat on the paving which was not done well. if you stepped out of your car , your feet and shoes would be socked in water. This is also on the paving going to the rooms . We were at room 15 which had water right outside our door that we could not step over ... so our feet and shoes were socked with water arriving in the late afternoon and leaving in the morning.

Secure, comfortable and lovely restaurant on site Pet friendly

Everything

No complaints

The stay was nice and good, the staff friendly and facilities nice to stay in.

The property did not have hot water in the showers

Quiet Guesthouse with nicely furnished rooms. We particularly liked that you can have breakfast and dinner there so you don't have to drive somewhere if you don't want to.

One of my favorite guesthouses. Superb all round. To be recommended

Everything perfect

Nothing

Absolutely shocking service

Clean neat and tidy

Dodgy location, very noisy air conditioner . Didn't get a good night sleep. Leaking shower. Very outdated interior.

Everything i expect from a guest house. Reception very helpful

Nothing

Nice old style building with off street secure parking. Room had aircon, Fridge, kettle and mircowave. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Wifi and cable worked well

DINNER WAS FANTASTIC - THE LAMB CURRY AND PIE WERE DELICIOUS AND THEY EVEN KINDLY MADE US SANDWICHES FOR THE ROAD!

THE DRIVEWAY A LITTLE TRICKY WITH A CARAVAN

Peaceful location, safe parking, restaurant on site.

Only a double size bed. No bath.

Extremely clean and comfortable

Nothing

Spacious room and prompt response

Light wasn't bright enough

Location was good

Restaurant

Luke warm shower after 101/2 hours of driving. Bed configuration- rooms should facilitate singles bed option. Not everyone is a couple.

Clean and spacious. Staff were willing to assist, and the food was exceptional

Nice clean room. Nice garden

My stay at Die Herehuis was exactly what I needed after the 5 hour drive up from CT. The aircon and privacy created a calming and restful atmosphere that recharged me for my next day of travel.

The only issue is that I was provided with a WiFi password for a portal that didn't appear when I connected to the WiFi. It took me a few attempts to figure out which WiFi to connect to, and when I finally did, the signal was a bit inconsistent.

Excellent food and friendly staff

Swimming pool and food.

The rooms can do with hairdryers.

The place was home away from home for my stay.

N/A

I am a regular visitor. That itself says what's needed. No one can complain about this excellent guesthouse

Nothing really

The location was good, and the area so quiet with the general mood of the town.

I hated driving between the wall and building going to the back or coming out, it was nightmare with a 4x4 bakkie.

The dinner and breakfast were excellent

Its is a brilliant stop on-route to Cape Town

Swimming pool and the food

Enjoy everything

Dinner was well done, enjoyed

all good

did not have breakfast nor any meal

there was no hot water

Nice and clean

Very noisy aircon systems close to no.9 and the geyser or water pipes make a noise when someone use water. Struggled to sleep until everyone stopped using water and switched off their aircon.

Nichts

Sind einen Tag früher abgereist, haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt. Essen war kaum genießbar.

Lovely place for an overnight trip

Comfortable and homely

The food was lovely. We had the dinner and it felt like a home cooked meal.

Everything was lovely no complaints.

Everything

Nothing

Accommodation was fantastic and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff on arrival.

The menu pricing at the restaurant is expensive. I had the Lamb Curry, and my mother had the Chicken Schnitzel, and this was nice. My dad had the Pie. This was dry and the meat was tough. I think for a Pie R230 is a bit excessive for what you get.

Room was very clean as well as the bathroom, they prepared for us it was really great staying there the location the staff and everything, we did not eat their as we got there at 6pm ready for dinner and Spur was a better option for us we wanted to get out as we were confined in the car for such a long time driving from Durban via Bloem

Just the people in the swimming pool who were on video call and really loud not so considerate of other people who are in rooms trying to catch some rest before the trip continues to Caspe Town.

Good location for overnight stay

the dinner and breakfast we did not have. seemed a bit pricey

Quiet, comfortable and relaxing

All good

The staff are very friendly and professional. They make Herehuis a joy to visit. The swimming pool is a god-send in the Karoo summer. Food is prepared well.

The en-suite bathrooms are so small you cannot turn around without bumping your elbows. It feels like they were built in as an afterthought. It spoils the comfortable and spacious rooms.

The location and staff are good

The place needs a revamp and cannot be rated 4 star anymore

Everything! They even have a restaurant on the premises that serves supper and breakfast. The dining room has a koi pond😱. I loved it. Fully self catering with a coffee station and fresh milk... No powder milk, thank heavens. Safe parking, great staff. Oh and... A small haul of Karoo Goodies for sale, home made jams, cookies, caramel. Just a right of the highway and a left and Bob's your uncle... A good place to rest your head, fill your belly and enjoy a great shower. This was the best one on the week trip to Capetown and back.

What is not to like? Everything is fantastic

Very good and clean

Excellent stop-over in Beaufort West. Would gladly stay here again! Clean, great host and staff. Very comfortable, perfect!

Everything was excellent

Friendly staff, clean place, beautiful gardens and pool, inner and breakfast was excellent, bed was comfy!
