Breakfast was good.

Never mind the musty smell caused by the water all over the backyard. The room was dirty.

Clean, convenient, thoughtful and friendly staff. Secure parking. Large rooms are bonus.

Parking was an issue due to repairs and there was lots of standing water in the parking area.

The water smelt like sulfur (rotten eggs), the windows are all sealed so can’t open them. The aircon didn’t work great. The room door didn’t have a lock and the water pressure was very bad.

Not much, the lodge building and facilities are deteriorating and there is clearly a major lack of maintenance and repair.

The smelly room and filthy floor, only one towel in the bathroom, no dinner even though they asked if we will have dinner the previous day. Dead bird in the bird cages. No bar facility. Not 4-star, maybe 1-star.

I like that the venue is pet friendly and the chalets are so ideal each with their own piece of lawn and braai. It’s spacious and very neat.

The dinner service was a bit slow, but well worth the wait!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The staff were extremely helpful and made sure we were taken care of at all times. We enjoyed the pool, the scenery and the food was amazing! Everything was clean and we had a very relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend it to everyone to stay here🤍

Dirty bath towels , stained sheets accompanied by ants in the bed. Dinner in my opinion was overly priced, thankful for the secure parking. Respectfully our stay warranted a 3 star vs 4 star.

Very beautiful venue and the Beds are extremely comfortable.

Big spacious room and bathroom. Has a mini fridge and tea/ coffee facilities. Clean and neat.

A microwave in the room would have been nice. Shower floor is abit dingy. Railing needed at the bath tub to help get out when slippery. Lighting needed in the driveway as its very dark at night. One can slip on the uneven ground or on the stairs.

Our unit smelt like it had not been opened in a while, it was dusty as well and caused my mom’s asthma to stir up again.

Found multiple dead insects in the kitchen so it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom seemed as though it hadn’t been cleaned either. I’m not at sure if it had just been locked up and not used for a while.

The staff are friendly and professional. The braai was very nice.

The facilities need maintenance. The gardens at the main parking lot was dead. If you drive from the inside through the main gate, it starts to shut before you are out. Our car was almost hit by the gate.

The garden cottage that we booked had unkept gardens, detailed cleaning of the room was absent such as dust on top of the bed rests and surfaces and there were many dead flies behind the blinds in the windows. The outside patio was also not cleaned with bird poo right in front of the door you had to enter through. The room was booked for 4 guests, but we were told that they could not provide pillows for guest 3 and 4.

The staff were wonderful. Supper and breakfast were very good. Booking in and out was a breeze.

The bed in room #8 is horrible. We slept on top of all the bedding to make it more comfortable. The bathroom is full of mildew, especially the shower as the extractor fan is clogged. Very limited range of beers

We have stayed there before and find it has up-market accommodation with a nice location, clean and comfortable.

The restaurant was limited and there was very little by way of wine to chose and no beer at all. The outside lights are very bright and shine through the curtains at night making the rooms very bright when trying to sleep. The fountain was left on during the night and was rather noisy as well. Neither of us slept well.

Definitely the food. I paid R 380.00 per head for a set meal ( No options given ) the beef was 80% bone & 10% fat & the piece of chicken was far too dry to eat.

Everything else in the hotel to me is a flop because myself and my family slept in the dark, in a very hot room and with mosquitoes all through the night. The fact that the hotel manager cannot be reached and security told me on the phone when i called about electricity failure that they have switched off their generator and nothing he can do. It’s sad to see the hotel save on diesel while they leave clients to sleep in a hot room with mosquitoes.

The country feels of the property. In town but also not

The feel of neglect. I must admit I am OCD so I pick up on things other people do not see. It is the small things that matters.

The place was not clean, on arrival sewage drain was blocked and was spilling all over. Tried to address the issue at reception but the guy brushed it off simply changing the subject . Pics were also deciving not as it looks on the website.

The aircon in the room, and the pool was clean for the kids to swim. On a seperate note, BFWest is becomming a filthy place to spend any time in. Accomodation options will take a huge negative knock if this mess of a town doesn't improve soon. I guess the citizens needs to get rid of whowever runs this municipality.

No power, and ran out of generator diesel the next morning. Breakfast is way to expensive. Directions to reception and parking is confusing. Underroof parking not accessable for SUV'S.

The breakfast was very disappointing ! No value for money. We were told breakfast 7-9am we arrived 8.15am no coffee ready ! The spread was poor !
