Haus Holzapfel

Everything I needed, convenient and very neat..

Practically situated.

Nothing!

Rooms were clean, and great location.

Linen needs updating. Awning in front of unit squeaky when windy.

Clean, spacious, good location, quiet

No hot water

Loved everything

Not applicable

Ronel and staff was helpful friendly and the accommodation was very good

There is not anything to comment badly

All good.

TV was not working

The room that we stayed in was neat and clean, the room was fully equipped with all necessities.

There was no bathroom door in the room that we stayed in. There was also a flashing light coming from the neighbours wall that continuously flashed throughout the night.

Everything

Pretty decent, no complaints.

Very grateful to the Haus Holzapfel team for accomodating our last minute booking. We were heading to Cpt and had a lovely stopover stay.

I didn’t have breakfast

No privacy around the patio There was no hot water .

This an amazing stay and as we stayed one night late arrival only, we did not meet any personnel however, Ronel contacted me within 10 min of my booking payment. All we required was communicated effectively and we had no problems in finding the property or access to the unit. The XL Queen bed was a blessing and AC in each room. Clean, tidy, beautiful layout to access kitchen, lounge, patio, bathrooms. 100%

Downstairs 1x2 kid beds was challenging to block out light - Suggest moveable partition available to block off the beds from kitchen (night lights shining in from the 2 smaller kitchen windows)

Beautiful room. Such a nice lady

Toilet is fairly near the bedroom and has no door. But you get used to it

Very nice apartment

Nothing

The host was nice, swimming pool was cool, the place was clean and peaceful

bathroom with no door (install a slider), the tv is too small (it gives the room a cheap vibe)

It was neat and clean. Had all the necessities for a comfortable stay.

A washing up sink.

Space and separate rooms

Could not see a pool as per pictures

Perfect location, private and clean

Nothing

The room was clean and spacious, there were enough towels. There are cameras everywhere, you can see the planning was well thought of. . Most of all, we loved that the place has a pool, which is a need since it was 40 degrees celcius when we arrived in Beaufort West. Check in and check process was clear.

I cannot think of anything, we enjoyed out stay.

It was nice and clean, the air-conditioning worked well as it was hot when we arrived, the TV worked well, the host was great!

The house was very clean. It's very spacious and my kids enjoyed it.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Apartment was big and comfortable nice kitchen fitted with washing machine and tumble dryer

No safety at all low walls no electric fence no guard We were robbed while we were asleep all our belonging valuables were stolen left us penniless all our bank cards cell phones handbags etc etc Owners weren't compassionate very heart breaking time didn't wanted to take any responsibility for our losses wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there In a period of 10 days this place had 3 incidents due to poor security and no safety measures. We opend a case waited 2 days and get no joy out of it .

Everything worked and the pool was great

None

Exceptionally clean

Everything about the commodities was perfect

Nothing

Parking was a bit of an issue

Lovely place.

No milk.

Clean, comfortable and we enjoyed the pool. Good communication from the host and good directions. Convenient parking right outside our door. Aircon! We slept well.

No privacy in bathroom / toilet as open. Cheap toilet paper. Only one side table. And no place except above TV to plug in hairdryer provided. TV did not work though host tried to help us restart it. Nevertheless we would stay again if needed.

The premises were impeccably maintained; we anticipate a return visit.

Nothing

Everything,to name a few,the tv remote was without batteries we couldnt operate the tv😞,we tried to reach out to the host for ironing facilities, not response till now

We were booked in Room 4 it was spacious and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Ronel was the best and very welcoming.

Nothing

The property was not at the address advertised on Booking.com. It also didn’t have a swimming pool as advertised. When asked if I can cancel the booking because the location is not what was advertised, I was told I can cancel but will loose the full amount paid.

Very spacious and well equipped

Geyser tricky

The location, the place was clean, the webber braai for every room. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the pool area. Very relaxing environment after a long trip. Also, our family room was not too big, so the outside toilet at the front reception was a plus and appreciated.

The bed and pillows were not too comfortable.

Cleanliness

Well maintained and clean

The apartment was neat and clean, and overall our stay was pleasant and met our expectations. Upon arrival, we did not receive a set of keys as the previous guests had left without returning them. This meant we were unable to lock the door, but the host was extremely gracious and even offered to keep an eye on the apartment when we went out. We did not want to inconvenience her, and thankfully the complex gate itself was secure and locking. As a small suggestion for improvement, adding a kitchen sink would make the kitchen more practical and convenient for guests. The address on booking.com differs from the apartment address. Apparently they have two properties for guests. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and we truly appreciated the host’s kindness, understanding, and willingness to assist.

Due to wind the sliding doors kept rattling. Add a kitchen sink for ease. The address is different from the one listed on Booking.com & location is different from the listing.

Very, very disappointed with Haus Holzapfel. We booked for 4 families. 2 x family stayed together. The 3rd family was 1,5km away. The 4th family you did not even have the booking, yet they already paid for their accommodation. Also no electricity for the night.

Spacious

Braai, grill was broken.

Room was clean and comfortable. Aircon was great as we arrived in extreme heat and was great to be able to relax in a cool room

The location is a bit far from everything, but not a deal breaker. Would be nice if the bathroom had a door.

Everything

The pool.

Very efficient communication. The place was very clean, modern and secure. It had everything we required. It's out of the main hub but close enough to pop into the shops or restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful. Great place to rest as a stopover on our way to Cape Town. The kids loved the pool.

Spacious! Clean! Air conditioned. A relaxing and peaceful place to recover for weary travelers. The Pool at the main B&B was our highlight! Water warm, clean and good depth for young kids. The communication we experienced from the guest house was overwhelmingly kind and attentive. We would stay here again.

Nothing.

The place was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Washbasins were very high.

Very clean and organized. Good communication prior to our visit

Perfect for family overnight stay especially after long travels. Clean, comfortable and Ronel was amazing in dealing with us all around.

The property at Mynhardt could do with dark curtains like at Langenhoven. That would make the comfort much better considering how much sun the Karoo gets.

Location, space, comfort, cleansiness

It was clean

“The wind caused the sliding door to rattle.” • And as a result, I couldn’t sleep.

Location great, facilities perfect. Perfect for our overnight stay.
