Most comfortable beds among all the guesthouses I have stayed in so far.

Parking can be challenging if the guesthouse is fully booked and all guests arrive with cars.

Great location and safe. Not our 1st stay here. Helen remembered us and is friendly as always, makes sure we are settled and comfortable.

Nothing much to say but Could do with a proper knife in family room 1. There was only one small knife that wasnt easy to work with.

Hellen is an angel and always smiling, thank you Helen. The door to the unit (4). The lock opens exceptionally difficult. Even the staff struggled to open the security gate. This is a serious problem and clearly a health and safety risk. If a fire should break out, the occupiers of the unit will struggle getting out or might not get out in time. The bed lamp on the right side of the bed did not work. These are the kind of things that should be checked by a manager before guests arrive. It is a pitty as the rooms are spacious and the facility is in a great location.

Near the training center

Same linen used, poo of insect on top of the dressing table, dust around the room and kitchen, room too cold even with the wall heater on, when I left the house keeper was making the bed with the same linen instead of discarding and putting a clean one.

The room had a bad odour and the sheets didn't smell fresh. The bathroom was dirty not to mention the towels.

It was cozy and comfortable, and the location was convenient. We had no problems at all and enjoyed our stay.

Liked the location. It was very easy getting to places from there since it is so central. The fact that it has parking and is close to the VFS offices.

It was a struggle to get the right temperature of the water in the shower. It was either very cold or burning hot. The balance was almost impossible to find.

It seemed like cupboards inside were not clean as there was an old Mr Price label with some me price hangers lying on the shelf. The carpet in my room is dark grey and just looked dirty - I sure it is not dirty but it just is very old and has darker spots so it doesn’t look very inviting. The shower also had mold in the corners.

the shower is short for a 1,8m person like me and its surface is very slippery and potentially dangerous and hazardous, this needs to be fixed ASAP The TV didnt work maybe due to WIFI

We got a room in the back, with no view. Room I booked was for a front room.

Dudu, the caretaker, is super kind and helpful. The location of the property was great for where we needed to be.

The property is in desperate need of maintenance. We stayed in the family room and studio apartment number 5. In the family room, there is visible damp bubbling on the walls throughout the unit, and the dining chairs have mould stains on them - to be honest I’m not sure it is actually safe to be in the unit as there is mould on the ceiling too. In studio apartment number 5, the bathroom is upstairs and the shower leaks onto the bed below through the ceiling. We did raise this and were offered to move rooms however we felt that it wouldn’t make a difference as the other areas are likely as unmaintained, so worked around it. While the linen seemed clean enough, it is very old and thin and had marks. I wouldn’t stay again in the current state, despite the good location.

Room Number 7 is nice and big and the location is ideal when on business in and around Waterkloof.

I am the fourth time there now over the last 3 years and the entire place increasingly needs a serious face-lift.

Everything was perfect in the room, except the water pressure and temperature balancing in the shower.

Location is perfect - quiet and safe street in Waterkloof. The beds were comfortable. The roof fans worked well, which was appreciated in the Pretoria heat.

As other reviews have mentioned, the property is in need of some maintenance. It is clear that in its heyday the property was wonderful, but I found the photos to be rather misleading to be honest. The towels are washed out and need to be replaced. Hand soap was provided, but the container was empty. All of the pictures on the walls were skew. Tile missing in the bathroom. The pool was dark green.

Dudu is an absolute sweetheart, and the other staff is equally as friendly. Upon my arrival, Dudu was waiting outside to welcome me at my vehicle, helped me unpack and carry my bags to my room. The room was well equipped with absolutely everything I needed in a self catering unit, even wood outside by the braai. I enjoyed my stay and will most definitely return.

Such friendly staff, Dudu is a sweetheart. Stunning location and the rooms are equipped with all you need in self catering. I will most definitely return.

Room carpet very worn, in poor condition and stained and wall heater patently damaged. Wifi provision is haphazard whilst bathroom dispensers were empty/inoperative. No TV in bedroom whilst only side plates provided in otherwise stocked kitchen.

Parking on site worked, just slightly cramped. The bathroom could be updated slightly.

The rooms weren't so comfortable, the Internet services were bad and the television had no sound. The place lacks maintenance and the yard was untidy on the day we arrived.

Quiet, accessible and had all I needed for a self catering place. It's clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly.

Maybe change the shower head in the bathroom.

The staff (The lady we met when we got there) particularly was attentive,kind & always eager to be of service

When I called initially before confirming my booking I was told there was a gas braai we could make use of and when we got there this wasn't available and we had to make use of a fire/charcoal braai which became a job on its own and we didn't have the necessary supplies to utilise it effectively. The pool was dirty and we couldn't use that ,while completely understandable and owing to the rain on Saturday afternoon , Friday and the better part of Saturday where completely dry .

I liked how the property was convenient and comfortable for our family of four.

A pleasant stay overall. The property is an older Waterkloof home that has been converted into small apartments, and while some areas could benefit from a bit of upgrading, it remains clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were tidy. A solid choice for a simple 3 star stay.

Bedroom blinds need to be replaced.

Location is perfect and very safe. Large and comfy room with amenities. The beds are huge, linen clean and crisp. More than enough coffee, tea, sugar and milk in the fridge. The cookies are an absolute bonus!

The parking spot allocated was a bit tight.

The pool looked green and biscuits in the morning were left overs from your previous guests.

Some parts of the apartment looked patched up. Like the cupboard doors of the bedroom. Doors do not match the original cupboard, not even close.

Great quiet location in central Pretoria next to most attractions, embassies and highways.

The place is comfortable and children stay for free. Beautiful and accessible place to stay. Accommodates people with disabilities as the room unit was on the ground and no stairs. Prime location with a safe and secure environment.

Stunning area (Waterkloof) and house. Apartments are well equipped with beautiful views of trees. Quiet, safe and walkable area near great events and cafes.

The kitchen/living room area was nice and clean with a big TV.

The towels were not even rolled up and put on the bed like it's normally done. They were hanging behind the bathroom door and felt like sandpaper, and had a bad smell!. The double/king bed was in such a small seperate bedroom with terrible cupboards.

Excellent location, very help and friendly staff. Clean, neat and just what we needed.

I felt safe as the property has adequate security and is in a gated area. Facilities are perfect for a self-catering visit. Dudu was very helpful and gave us a great welcome.

Helen was very accommodating and helpful upon arrival. It is also really nice and quiet. The gardens and property is beautiful and very peaceful. We felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay.

The parking is a hassle as it is very tight , especially if each room has a car to park. The WI-FI also was not the greatest , it did not work in our room for the entire weekend. The rooms can be upgraded as they are a little outdated and tacky.
