Hudson House

Breakfast was good. The omelets were very good. It is not often that you find a place with good coffee as well. The place also had good, secure parking.

De locatie was perfect, bijkans op Lynwoodweg. Eenvoudig te bereiken en vlak bij belangrijke ontsluitingswegen in het Ooste van Pretoria

Everything

Nothing

Location and quality accommodation

Friendly staff and good breakfast. Staff were very attentive and professional. Good location.

Nothing, met expectations.

Very neat

Not even a bottle of water for free.

The team at Hudson House were so friendly and warm. Chipo, Yvonne and Rachel made sure my stay was comfortable and stress free. They quickly worked out that I like a glass of wine after work and ensured that my favourite wine was waiting in my room when I returned from a stressful day. The omelet at breakfast was delicious! The rooms are spotless and the bathroom was spacious.

The room design

Stairs and no lift

Accomodation was excellent, staff very helpful. A well presented and tasty breakfast. Parking is easy to access.

The entrance is tricky because I was towing a trailer but will be east for a normal car.

Location , comfortable , friendly and helpful staff

Everything was great

Clean rooms, good breakfast. Highly recommended.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they go all out for you. The place was nice and clean and also spacious. I liked that they had both a shower and a bathtub.

The carpet showed stains all over...they need to remove the carpet and replace it with tiles, that would be awesome 👌

The location is fantastic. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean

I have stayed at Hudson House a number of times and it’s always great. I particularly liked the fact that they now have a minibar that is affordable! Ideal if you want a snack or drink and don’t want to go to the shops.

Everything. The atmosphere was super warm and welcoming, the staff were genuinely friendly, kind, and very helpful, and I felt safe at all times. Breakfast felt very homie and was absolutely delicious. The overall vibe of the place made the stay feel comfortable and personal rather than transactional. Size of the room is very similar to reality.

Nothing in terms of the stay itself. One small practical note: some taxis struggled to find the gate, especially late in the evening. Adding a more visible spotlight or clearer signage with the property name at the gate or next to it would make arrival even smoother.

May be you can consider addition heaters in rooms.

not sure about this.

The location was convenient for us. Check in was smooth they were already waiting for our arrival. Staff was friendly

Wonderful and helpful staff, great choices for breakfast, and fab location. An ideal place for work trips or even on vacation. This place is more that what you can expect.

Sehr schöne, saubere Zimmer. Sehr gute Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolles Frühstück. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Great breakfast and location is close to where I need to travel to, super friendly staff, a hidden gem that I wish I had known about sooner

Nothing really

I could hear the people next door

De sfeer in het hotel en je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt.

Excellent customer service. Hotel is clean and service is excellent. will be back.

Access is not really efficient as you can only enter from one side .

Bathroom

Neighbour smoking

Clean, easy, comfortable.

They were very accommodating and offered to make breakfast packs as well since we had to leave before breakfast.

Great service, comfortable and spacious room, lovely breakfast and location.

Limited breakfast options.

Cleanliness

Incredibly noisy, guest struggled to concentrate on an online meeting due to constant staff noise from reception and reported that the noise levels at night were very disruptive.

It was modern, clean and spacious.

Nice rooms. Good beds and great breakfast. Best off all is the friendly staff.

Not the best location. It that depends on what you want. It is safe and secure but you will not be able to go for a walk.

The shower drainage system in Room 9 was slow to drain as a result water would overflow from the shower to the bathroom floor... Other than that I'm definitely going back

The cleanliness and the staff was so friendly. This was a home away from home. The bathroom is so huge and the cleaning service was exceptional. The bed was the best. The aircon was perfect. We were warm the whole time and we managed to watch the cricket World Cup. Everything was perfect oh and did I mention the lights? The lights are to die for. We were in our little romantic haven.

The entrance is a bit tricky when you order something the drivers miss it.

All in all, everything was great. Would highly recommend.

As it was my first visit, I found it a bit confusing to find the gate

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful garden.

Not much. TV position a bit awkward.

I loved the garden outside which was quite tranquil and the staff were lovely and always willing to assist, I absolutely loved my stay.

None

The staff from HOUSE care from everyone (Owne, Kitchen executive, cleaning executive and receptionist). 1st night, they went all out to organize dinner for me as I arrived late.

Nothing

Very nice room and friendly and helpful staff.

Just off main road, although room was quiet. Basic facilities.

The room was very clean and well prepared and the bed was very comfortable. The property is situated just where I need to do business but sufficiently away and the location was quiet and peaceful.

It is a pity that there is no restaurant for evening dinner, making it necessary to go out for food. But there are good restaurants etc quite close.

The room was clean and comfortable

The breakfast, no variety

Very comfortable room and spacious bathroom

Rude treatment by the owner prior to my occupation. They advertised shuttle service, which nothing else than an Uber drive at my cost. This is not a shuttle service, or they should make it clear it will be at my costs. The breakfast was nothing special. In fact, it was a disappointment I will probably never stay there again a

The breakfast was very good with enough options.

Our only complaint is that we did not have hot water when we showered in the morning. It was explained to us that the geyser tripped. Apart from that we had a very nice stay. A plug next to the bed to charge my cell phone would have been nice. I had to charge it far from the bed.
