We absolutely loved our stay at the Henderson Beach Resort. The amenities were so nice & convenient. The staff was so nice & helpful especially Leslie in Sprinkles Cafe. She was so friendly & made us feel so welcomed at the resort - any questions we had, she was always happy to assist! Definitely would recommend staying here.

Our recent two-night stay in a king Gulf-side room with a private balcony did not meet our expectations regarding value. The limited Gulf view, obstructed by trees and our second-floor location, diminished the anticipated benefit of the premium. Furthermore, the presence of a neighboring guest who frequently smoked on their balcony prevented us from fully utilizing our own. Following a lengthy journey to Florida, we sought rest, but our sleep was repeatedly disrupted by children running and screaming in the hallway. Despite using earplugs, we were again disturbed at 10 PM by excessively loud music, which necessitated a call to the front desk. A representative assured us that security would investigate, and the music volume was subsequently reduced. While the property itself is aesthetically pleasing, we observed that pricing for amenities and services, consistent with other guest feedback, is notably high and accumulates rapidly. You have your parking and daily fees. Plus food and drinks for instance, three alcoholic mixed drinks by the poolside amounted to $80, and a two-person meal consistently exceeded $100, regardless of the time of day. In conclusion, while we had hoped to experience the exceptional qualities of this establishment, our overall assessment is that the value proposition does not align with the incurred costs.

We dined at the horizons restaurant today, 22 Aug. The food was good but I really want to shout out our server, Rron, with two Rs. He was a lot of fun to talk with, was an excellent server, and made sure our dining experience was awesome! We are all impressed with him. Please pass along our appreciation.

More negatives than positives. Positives - nice pool at the lofts, good food poolside. Ice cream parlor should have more options. Room was clean and beautiful view of pool and beach. Negatives 1) despite having requested (via the concierge) an easily accessible room due to having a person in our party who had difficulty walking, we were actually given the FARTHEST POSSIBLE ROOM from the elevators. 2) upon arrival, we discovered that we had to carry all our items up to our room and there were no luggage carts or anything to assist us. No one was sitting in the entrance to the loft area to even ask about this. We had to unload everything from our car onto the curb, go park our car and then tediously and painful lug everything up stairs and into elevators amd across the long walkways to the farthest room possible. Some room cleaners eventually saw us and took pity on us and helped with a few things. 3) if you get a room at the one end of the loft building, be prepared to hear the power generators whirring and running 100% of the time, drowning out the typical vacation sounds of the pool and people having fun. In our case the loud sound could even be heard from inside the main bedroom of our unit. We could not enjoy being out on our patio due to this continuous loud noise. 4) Extra charges for parking? I think we pay enough. 5) Extra charges for beach chairs and ridiculous rules which don’t allow you to use your own beach chairs or items. Again, I think we pay enough to stay at this resort that something as simple as a seat on the beach should be included. 6) Front desk staff was not very knowledgeable or helpful. Being first time guests, a good overview of the resort, its amenities, etc would have been nice.

This was our 8th stay at the Henderson! To start off, Kodhe at the front desk, was the best, if you had a question about anything or had any issues, he was the man to get things done. At breakfast every morning at the Primrose Jerome and Caesar always had a smile on their face and gave us the best service. I had a Spa day and got a Hydro facial from Bethanne that was fantastic!! I also got a mani/pedi from Theresa, it was so relaxing, and she was so sweet! Thanks for the great vacation!!!

Beach chair rental was made with ease. Jacob, Joshua, and Kailey were super friendly and nice. I appreciate them caring enough to make my experience amazing!

Our family of 22 stayed at The Henderson in June 2026, and it truly couldn’t have been a better experience! Each family had their own condo, and our group ranged in age from 1 to 67 years old. There was something for everyone. The pools were always clean and comfortable, the service was outstanding, and the activities kept both the kids and adults entertained—especially the pool party with the DJ! The beach was absolutely beautiful, and our photographer, Amanda, did an incredible job capturing our large group on a windy evening. We loved riding bikes to get ice cream on multiple nights, and grocery deliveries from Walmart as well as pizza delivery were easy and hassle-free. From the booking process to checkout, everything exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Roxanne and Susan at the front desk. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and deserve a raise and a round of applause! Everyone in our group agreed this was one of our favorite family vacations, and we can’t wait to come back. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the room and gate key cards with wristbands for added convenience. Other than that, everything was perfect!

We really enjoyed the Henderson Beach Resort. All the staff were very kind and attentive. We especially want to highlight the service from Valentina, a server at the Primrose restaurant. She was very attentive, friendly, and gave us excellent service. Highly recommend!

Well …… for what you spend I would hope there would be valet (I would pay for it) there is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage to your room. By the way the hallways are gates of hell hot lol there is no air. But guess the biggest disappointment was the first impression walking in …. Walls are nasty and need painting and the carpet is disgusting … after talking to two other couples they feel the same way and unfortunately I will never come back … I feel like if a higher standard of management was in place it could really be a good thing … hopefully changes will be made …

Great food, service and room was clean.. only knock was parking was very tight in our unit at parkside.... outside of that no complaints

We stayed at the Henderson Beach resort through July 4 holiday. We had a wonderful experience, but what stood out was the exceptional service we received from Endi. He took amazing care of us at the pool. We had several large parties with small kids and at all times he was attentive to us, took excellent care of us, and tended to all of our needs. It’s people like Edni that make you want to keep coming back to Henderson Beach resort. Thank you so much for everything you do!

Arthur, Kailey, & Grant were great with our beach set up needs. Rron was a fabulous bartender and on top of things. Both Ron and Arthur made our stay there top notch!

I am a "local", and I love treating myself to a manicure and pedicure at the Henderson Spa. The Dazzle Dry products give a beautiful, long-lasting result and leave my nails so healthy. The CBD oil massage with the pedicure is also a must. I always request Theresa for my service. She is a true professional. Her sunny, welcoming personality makes every experience at the Henderson worthy of 5 stars.

The private beach was awesome, clean and the facilities were super clean.

I didn’t like that you had to book beach chairs way ahead of your stay and I wasn’t aware of that.

We stayed in a poolside loft and it was a great experience. You truly wouldn't need to leave this resort if you didn't want too. Everything you need is here. They also do a lot of activities poolside, for littles if you have them. One complaint would be that the pool on Sunday needed attention, the water was actually below the skimmer – which leads to a really gross pool by afternoon. My other complaint is that the resort accepts no cash. I had no idea about this when booking. And honestly it makes for a hefty credit card bill when you check out. It's really quite annoying. There was also no way to keep track. No home screen on the TV that showed totals billed to-date. This is why I didn't give it 5 stars.

We have had an incredible time for our first time visit here celebrating our babymoon. Susan in the concierge was extremely helpful in making sure we were settled in and even sent us a sweet surprise for our baby-moon. Josh, Jacob, and Kailey made our beach experience truly special and really made us want to come back to visit for our next vacation! The only suggestion I’d make is to allow guests full access to the AC units. It was so temperamental at night and never quite kept a consistent temperature to sleep.

We were excited to spend the weekend. The food was excellent. The room and housekeeping were awful for the price we are paying. We had a severe ant problem in the room. The sofa bed was never cleaned. There were Doritos on the sheets and the sheets were soiled. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

What a great family hotel & destination. With very little awareness of Destin, I picked the hotel based on the reviews. The Henderson lofts are great for a family vacation. Easy access to the beach. Great family entertainment from the pools, djs and arcade. However, special mention to the spa! Booked a service with Theresa and it was fantastic. The quality of the service was absolutely a treat. Sometimes spa quality places aren’t the best but this is worth every dollar! Thank you for such a relaxing experience.

This was our first stay at the Resort and everything has been wonderful! From the quick room change , thanks to Kodhe, when we arrived and our room wasn’t a King (which was the coordinator for our conventions mistake) to the beautiful clean resort. We especially enjoyed the excellent service by the beach chair team. Arthur was particularly helpful and so much fun! We enjoyed seeing him everyday when we came to be seated. Also Josh, Kailey & Piper worked so hard with him, keeping the beach clean, towels supplied and umbrellas up. Be sure and reserve your 1st row seat online way ahead of your stay for the best view and breeze! Be sure and ask for Arthur AKA 5 star, for service that makes you feel special.

The location cannot be beat. A property right on the water of this gorgeous part of Florida is the key selling point that truly delivers. Both the beachfront and the pool area is wonderful. This part of Florida is magical with the white crystal sand that looks like sugar. And the water is perfect with ability to enjoy the waves and the clear water.

I’ve noticed some changes from past years that were disappointing. Something as simple as only paper cups in the rooms when other relatively high-end resorts are able to handle glassware was a signal that a little touches may not be a priority at this time. Also, while I love pets, I was taken aback by having a barking dog on my floor, and having dogs in the lobby, even though they were leashed. And getting double charged for one delivery of room service because of a snag with a system that did not offer iced tea on the digitally accessed menu was a disappointment. It’s the kind of thing that an empowered wait staff could have reconciled with little effort. These may be minor for guests seeking a family and pet friendly place. It’s all about expectation and this is not the “special” environment I experienced in the past. It certainly is much larger of an operation and clearly this is a factor.

I recently stayed at Henderson Beach Resort with my mom as an early celebration of her 80th birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The level of attention across the entire hotel was superb, every interaction reflected care, warmth, and professionalism. A special touch that meant a lot to us was when a staff member surprised my mom with a thoughtful gesture to celebrate her milestone, which made her feel incredibly special. The kindness extended to everyone we encountered, from the waitresses to the broader hotel team, who consistently went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at ease. There is a genuine culture of hospitality here that you can feel in every detail. The facilities themselves are beautiful and well maintained, adding to the overall experience. If I were to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the temperature of the air conditioning in the lobby and hallways, which felt excessively cold. In particular, during breakfast at Primrose, the temperature made it uncomfortable, my mom struggled with the cold, and I found myself needing to wear a jacket while we were dining. I want to give a special thank you to Nicole Uribe for making it such a meaningful experience. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Her attention to detail and genuine warmth go far beyond expectations, and it’s clear she puts her whole heart into what she does. She has a remarkable ability to connect with guests and instantly make you feel welcome, relaxed, and at home. She made a lasting impression on us, and we are deeply grateful for her care. Because of her, this celebration became something we will always remember. Thank you, Nicole, for creating such a beautiful experience for my mom and me. Overall, this was a wonderful stay filled with meaningful moments, and I would absolutely recommend Henderson Beach Resort for both its beautiful setting and, most importantly, its exceptional people.

well maintained property, housekeeping was amazing

Expensive hidden fees I wasn’t made aware of until check in. Paid thousands to stay and still had to pay $30 a day for parking. Booked a courtyard view room but received a room with a balcony overlooking the front entrance.

Don’t expect to watch any televised NFL, NBA or any other games on NBC. We were excited as a family to watch a championship NBA game on NBC during our stay as the channel guide card in the room notes they offer NBC. However, NBC doesn’t exist. And paying up to 800.00 a night doesn’t allow you to cast to the tv either. I talked to the manager on duty - basically told me nothing they could do as it’s not in their service contract with Dish Network. I asked why the card in the room advertises that they have the channel - I told her it was poor marketing… she said nothing she can do. She sent engineering up to verify that there is nothing that can be done. He said so many guests complain about this year round with nfl and nba games and they won’t update the TVs to allow casting no matter how many complaints. He said I won’t be the last guest to complain about this for sure as it’s a constant problem. Poor customer service management technique as well from the manager on duty. Just basically that they can’t do anything about it. You would think a “luxury” hotel would have updated TVs in this tech world. Disappointed to say the least.

Arthur, Josh and Grant by the ocean were amazing! They made my experience by the water 5 stars!! It’s worth booking a chair by the beach just for these guys!

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this resort twice and it was amazing each time. We got a room with a beach view and it was absolutely stunning. The walk to the private beach is so easy and is very calm compared to other parts of Destin beaches. The spa is also wonderful, and truly the best spa I have ever been to. I recommend coming early so you can use all the amenities (steam room, jacuzzi, lavender room, etc.). It is open to you all day if you purchase a spa package. My massage therapist, Liz was fabulous. I didn’t think it could’ve gotten any better from the first time, but she proved me wrong. Also, not something people specifically look for in a hotel, but it smells AMAZING. I don’t know what scent they use to diffuse through the hotel but I want it for my home lol. The Henderson is a bit pricy compared to other stays in Destin but it is worth it in my opinion.

The rooms and facilities were beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. I was particularly impressed with the beach staff. Arthur, Josh, Jacob, and Pyper went above and beyond to insure we were taken care of. They are hard working and personable. Excellent vacation!

We visited with members of our church and had an awesome time. The staff was great as they paid close attention to the needs of each member. Applause to the resort and we will share our fun time with many!!

The service is always just the absolute best there! It’s 98% of the reason we’ve come more than once! Arthur is definitely worth his 5 Star title! Josh, Kailey, Sam, Piper, and Bryce were all incredibly accommodating and welcoming like no other place we’ve stayed!! They have the best attention to detail and have undivided focus on the customer experience! There was an incident with a fellow guest who was determined to be unhappy during her stay on the beach. I overheard her speaking to these hard workers with the worst attitude, screaming, saying she can’t even look at them. All while they listened and attempted to make it right, she walked away and threw up her version of the middle finger. I’ve worked customer service so I understand how these situations can be handled by both parties. Some people are determined to be unhappy during the best times of their lives, but these guys work so incredibly hard and well to make sure they exceed the expectations every time for every individual! We could not be more grateful for the effort and spirits yall bring to work with you! Thank you guys for everything, you’re all the best!!

Had an absolutely beautiful time enjoying the beach. The beach servers Arthur, Sam and Piper were extremely attentive cheerful and professional when setting up the chairs and umbrellas. They checked on us periodically and moved our chairs when needed. The server Katie was delightful and the bartender Hunter was wonderful personable and made great cocktails

Rooftop use to be fun! We went there the other night and our experience was horrible. The servers and bartenders didn’t make us welcomed at all. The servers did not speak any english they forgot our drinks. We were going at the rooftop many times in the winter time and the service was so much better. Looks like they did not prepared them selfs for the busy season.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Henderson! Jose, my breakfast server, was absolutely fantastic. He was super friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating the entire time. He made me feel so welcomed and always made sure I had everything I needed. He was also very informative and gave great recommendations. Theresa did my manicure and pedicure at the Spa. I honestly could not have been happier. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and did an absolutely amazing job. You can tell she really cares about her work and making people feel comfortable and taken care of. I got one of the best pedicure and manicure I’ve ever had. She did not rush and spent a long time making sure everything looked absolutely perfect. The level of service from both of these people truly stood out. Even the night check in staff and manager when I checked in were outstanding and friendly at 1am. I absolutely love the Henderson and can’t wait to come back!

I attended a conference held at Henderson Beach Resort. The venue is classy and the staff super helpful. Kudos to Ion Taranu for seeing with class and being proactive in attending to the guests.

Wonderful, but a few misses. We had a great time and will most likely return upon a trip to Destin. With that said, since we pretty much stay in high end properties like yours, I wanted to share a couple things. We stayed in the one bed suite. First, there is no place in your bathroom to hang a towel either with a towel bar or hooks. This makes finding the place to move around your bathroom very difficult. Second, on only one of our four mornings, did anyone clean, refresh or resupply our coffee service, and no one ever cleaned out the water filled ice bucket or gave us new plastic bags for it so we could do it ourselves. The set up was actually quite disheveled and ignored after the first morning. Not complaints, just observations. Be well!

Awesome visit to The Henderson Beach Resort. As as a repeat visitor, it is still a beautiful property with great service. Dinner at the Horizon was perfect Anthony was great and took care of us even assisting with a great photo of us fir our last night! Our days at the lazy river were perfect! Great service at the pool too! We will be back again soon!

First off, one of the most beautifully designed and luxurious feeling hotels I have ever stayed at. Instantly feels like you’ve stepped into another world. Of course the beautiful Destin beaches are part of the wonderful experience, but the location right next to Henderson Park gives plenty of room between the Resort and the next condo, giving more of a private beach feel. Speaking of the beach, the staff on the beach were exceptionally attentive and helpful. A special shoutout to Josh and Sam at the towel hut for excellent service, truly friendly demeanors, and for the best tips on where to look for sand dollars! Honestly the amazing staff took this trip from a great one to the best one. Hope to be back soon!

We live about an hour away but we've chosen this hotel for a little staycation twice now and we've had a wonderful experience both times. Housekeeping does such a wonderful job keeping the rooms clean, and organizing our toiletries, which is so appreciated to come back to the room to after a long day out. The pools are wonderful. Our kiddos spend hours in the lazy river. The hotel has some games and floats to keep the kids busy and the adults circling around relaxing with a drink in hand. The pool staff, Endi, in particular is such an accommodating server. He really went above and beyond to make sure our family had everything we needed. He's just so pleasant and attentive. To the sweet lady in the coffee shop to the concierge checking up on us via text to make sure we have everything we need, we have been pleased, and will return many times. I do recommend a gulf room view versus a courtyard view. We had a gulf view the first stay which was lovely, this second visit looking at the valeted cars in the parking lot for $600 a night (with a 3 night minimum) would be our only complaint. I would have liked to have been told what the courtyard overlooked on the phone while booking so I was aware what to expect. Be sure to check out the rooftop restaurant when you're here for drinks or some sushi. Children are allowed, but it can get noisy, if you have children sensitive to sound it may not be an option depending on how busy they are. Primrose is a lovely albeit pricey dining experience but we recommend it especially if you are looking for a romantic evening or having a celebration. Jennifer made my birthday dinner so extra special! There is an adults-only pool and hot tub for those wanting some quiet space, and there is a restaurant closer to the beach that children under 13 are not allowed.

The Henderson Beach Resort and Spa overall was a great experience!! We had a big delay checking in our room when we arrived, but Chausa (beautiful black woman) at front desk was working hard to get us in our room. She’s definitely a 5 star worker. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only things missing were robes in the room. Every 5 star hotel I have been to had robes in the room. The Beach Service at the beach was excellent, we had a little issue with what row our chair reservation was. Josh the beach service manager solved the problem and we had an excellent time on our beach day. The Spa was top tier. The restaurants in the hotel was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. I would recommend the Henderson Resort and spa to my family and friends.

First Let me start by saying that this is a 100% beautiful hotel. However, i was unprepared for the ala carte everything. Beginning with the parking at 29.00 per day to self park down the hill, the 49.00 per day resort fee, the 20% included service fee, the service fee and another fee on top of the room service. My 16.00 ceasar salad ended up costing me over 45.00. A glass of house wine (nothing special) was 18.00. The spa was remarkable. Relaxing and beautiful and although the prices were high, it was expected. I went to give a cash gratuity to my therapist and was told, yep you guessed it a 20% service fee was already added. Oh here's the best part, it's a beach resort right? you have to make reservations for chairs and umbrellas. OK i did that, but was taken back when the times were 8-12 or 1-5 and 49.00. I am usually pretty good at seeing these things when I book my travel but this time I was blind sided and had a very hefty bill on check out. They did offer complimentary freshly brewed starbucks at the end of the hallway and did give you bottled water in the room. Our room was nicely appointed and spacious, but the refrigerator was broken and had to be replaced, the sensor on the balcony door was not working properly so even with the door shut we had no air conditioner, and the tv (although we didn't want it most of the time) for the most part did not work or kept coming up as erasing guest data. I am happy we were there and I love the area and you just can't beat those sunsets. but would i stay there again. Most likely not, there are plenty of other options nearby that are far less expensive.

Both Brandon and Josh are amazing guys. They made sure that our chairs are set up in the right spot, added chairs when they could, and were very engaging. Their thoughts and insights about the area, dining, fun things to do were extremely helpful. They and the Henderson Beach Resort Food/Beverage/Recreation team are amazing!!! The hotel as a whole could use a lot of training from David’s team

Service was very basic and restaurant option limited. Nice enough hotel but certainly not worth the money. Staff generally inattentive and check in was a disaster with the room not appropriate or as per description

This resort was as advertised! They get everything right: Service, food, hospitality, drinks, pool, activities, etc!

This was our third trip to the Henderson. Our first visit was about 6 years ago. We have loved the resort, hence going back for the third time. This time was a slight disappointment. This was our first trip over spring break, we typically go in early summer. The service has really gone down, I’m not sure if some of the staff has been moved to the new condos that were developed a couple years back. For it being spring break, it wasn’t as crowded as the summer time when we have gone in the past. There was only one bartender at the outdoor pool the whole trip and we only saw 1-2 servers bringing food out to people. Both times we ordered food by the pool, we had to go up to the bar and see where our food was because it was taking so long. The restaurants have really good food still for the most part but the Primose restaurant for breakfast was a disaster. Only 2 servers and they were helped by many people getting the buffet. We had to get up and find our waiter in order to get more coffee, to get our check, etc. You can tell they were really understaffed. The other annoyance is the extra fees such as charging you to park your own car, only $10 more to get valet. $40 for valet and $30 to park your own car. We paid extra to get beach chairs and umbrella, they said only $45. We then saw on our bill an extra $9 for a service fee. They should tell you it’s $54 then..they never tell you about the service fee! Lots of hidden prices. They also should let guests know when music is playing on the roof top bar or when outdoor movies by the pool are playing. On a Saturday night over spring break there was a movie by the outdoor pool with only one family sitting out there. We didn’t even know it was playing, just happened to go outside. No mention to guests. Overall we still enjoy the resort but will most likely check out another resort next time in the area. We enjoyed the roof top bar and the pool is always relaxing and fun. The scent of the hotel upon entering the lobby is just wonderful! The lobby is also super relaxing with nice seating options outside on their outdoor deck.

Josh and Brandon were absolutely great!! They were so helpful on the beach! Not only that but they gave us great recommendations for places to go in the evenings when we weren’t on the beach. They were so helpful and even remembered our names. 10/10 totally recommend!!!

Location is great, Beach is of good size. Courteous valet staff. View from the room. Beach was not crowded with people. Lots of respect from staff and other guests.

Room was not ready on arrival, Beds are old and have gone below any comfort sense. Price was higher than what the room really is worth.

Just finished up another excellent trip to the Henderson Beach Resort. Our whole family loves HBR-it's just an easy place to have a lovely experience. The beach (get chairs), the pool, spa and rooftop bar are some of our favorites. Want to recognize Endi at the pool-dude was hustling to make everyone happy! We will be back soon.

Great resort. Kohde gave Great service at the front desk.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During my stay, housekeeping threw away thousands of dollars worth of my clothing. The hotel admitted that the items were discarded, but claimed they were not stolen. Regardless of how they frame it, the result is the same, my belongings are gone. What makes this even more concerning is the timeline. There was only about a two-hour window between me checking out, calling the hotel, and being told my belongings had already been “thrown away.” It is incredibly hard to believe that items of that value were permanently disposed of that quickly, with no opportunity to recover them. Their solution? Offering to take 3 nights off my 9-night stay. That doesn’t even begin to cover the value of what was lost. It felt dismissive and completely out of touch with the situation. I also found Laura, the general manager, to be unhelpful and lacking any real sense of urgency or accountability. There was no meaningful effort to resolve this or make it right. I cannot believe a hotel of this caliber would allow something like this to happen, let alone handle it so poorly. Between the loss of personal property and the lack of proper customer service, I would not recommend staying here.

The rooftop is the gem! We were there last night! These guys were so busy but tried best to help everyone! Hands down to the crew! Desi was great! She took our order and made the drinks for us. We loved her attitude!

Unbelievable experience. Perfect aesthetic - the resort was clean, quiet, heated pool Staff on the beach were polite, welcoming, and attentive. Arthur and Josh were fantastic and gave great beach/fishing advice. The only downsides were the loft interior, coffee cups were too small, ice maker broken, tv reception was spotty, not enough paper towels and toilet paper in the loft.

My family and I have been coming to the Henderson Beach resort for years and have always loved it. The beach chair service has always been good, but my experience this week has lead me to write this review. On our first day here I noticed new faces in the hut for chair service. I was immediately taken by how nice and polite these 2 young men were. My sister in law and I have 6 kids between us, they always offered to help us with our bags and get us to our chairs. Then today I witnessed an act of kindness that if unfortunately rarely seen anymore. Arthur and Josh helped these 2 elderly women get to the beach had those young men not helped them they would haven’t been able to do it on their own. I was blown away that they not only noticed these ladies, they stopped what they were doing to help!!! It was one of the most heartwarming acts of kindness I’ve ever witnessed!!!

Josh and Arthur were kind, courteous, and very helpful. They made our afternoon enjoyable and relaxing. We will definitely return and will recommend to our friends

This is our second time back. We really enjoy this place. Honestly, it’s a personnel and the accommodations. Shout out to Arthor& Josh on the beach, they’re great and helped elevate my kids spring break 🥍

I’m a club member at Henderson Beach Club and I’ve given Horizons Bar more than one chance, but unfortunately my experiences haven’t improved. The last time I visited, I ordered a burger and had to leave half of it because it was clearly undercooked and raw in the middle. I decided to give it another try recently, hoping things would be better, but it was even more frustrating. We waited about 25 minutes and the only thing that ever made it to our table was water. No one checked on us, no explanation, and no food. To be fair, this is nothing against our waiter Louis or the bartender Ron — they are the exception and have always been kind and professional. My frustration is with the overall service and management. For a place in such a beautiful location — especially one that serves club members — the service and food quality should be much better. Sadly, based on my experiences, it feels like the restaurant is poorly managed and inattentive to guests.

If you’re at Henderson Beach Resort and want a cocktail experience that’s both thoughtful and delicious, seek out Desi. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for mixology made my evening memorable.

We were there last night celebrating my friends birthday! Desi made us so welcome and special! She made us any drinks we asked her even they were not on the menu. Amazing atmosphere and even more amazing service. We will make sure to tell everyone about the rooftop and to go to the bar for delicious drinks and friendly conversations.

I love going to the rooftop bar to watch the sunset - it's one of the best views in town! And our favorite bartender Desi makes the best pear martini ever!

Had an amazing time at Henderson Rooftop in Destin! The rooftop views were beautiful, the appetizers were fresh and delicious, and the cocktails were perfectly made. Huge shoutout to Desi …..such an incredible bartender! Friendly, attentive, and fun. Highly recommend for drinks, bites, and a great vibe!

The roof top bat is a favorite go to place. Drinks and service are always on point! Desi is hans down our favorite bartender!

Amber was very responsive to our groups needs. She came by frequently making good sales and was very friendly. We had a group of 15 to 20 adults with kids and did not seem stressed to our needs. We vacation all over and she is one of our best servers yet.

My friends and I went to the superbowl and the one at the front desk ale was very nice and kind, we would come back because of her treatment towards us. Also the place was so nice and the people there treat us very nicely

We had an amazing extended stay at Henderson Beach Resort from mid-December through mid-February, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Since we were there for a couple of months, we ordered a lot of packages, and Kohde at the front desk was incredible about tracking every single one down for us. He was always so kind, professional, and on top of everything. He made what could have been a hassle completely seamless, and we’re so grateful for his help throughout our stay. We also want to recognize Crystal, who was always so warm and welcoming as she made her rounds at Horizon’s, Primrose, and The Rooftop. She consistently made us feel valued and at home. And Endi at Horizon’s was such a fantastic server—attentive, friendly, and never rushing us. Every meal felt relaxed and enjoyable thanks to his great service. After two months, the resort truly felt like home. The team there goes above and beyond, and we can’t wait to come back! But just one request, PLEASE bring back the fireplace at Horizons!!

Rron was one of the most incredible bartenders I have ever had the pleasure of being taken of by. I not only witnessed the gold standard of customer service, but attention to detail and respect. RRon single handedly managed a convention group that could have overwhelmed any other bar tender… but not him. He ensured he took orders in a timely manner, paid attention to accuracy of the cocktails, kept the bar clean and checked folks out in a timely manner. I have never seen anyone manage a huge crowd with ease to ensure they had a great experience. He should be commended for representing The Henderson for customer service and excellence. He made everyone’s night enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at The Henderson. The facilities are excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Mary, whose service was outstanding — she was warm, kind, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. Her hospitality made a big difference in our stay. The location is excellent, with beautiful views, a wonderful pool, and a very relaxing atmosphere. It’s a place you can enjoy even in winter — cozy, warm, and incredibly inviting. Perfect for families, but also ideal for couples looking for a peaceful and special getaway. We loved everything about our stay and would absolutely come back.

Staying in the condos is the way to go. Sleeps 6, full kitchen, laundry, very clean, and beautifully decorated. It's been a little chilly during our stay but we've been enjoying the hot tub and fire pit every night. I loved getting a pedicure in the spa from Theresa. She's a true professional and was excellent in every way possible. I highly recommend getting a service from her. Will be back!

Everything. What’s not to like. They have wonderful amenities and the rooms are spectacular. Everything here is top notch and of very high quality.

The hotel layout was carefully designed to meet all my family's needs, including beach access, several pools, peace of mind, an arcade, a fitness center, yoga, and a sense of security. The room was impeccably clean, and the refrigerator was consistently stocked. The ambiance was vibrant. We plan to return next year with more family members.

Although the food was tasty, it was slightly expensive. We would have eaten more at the resort.

Shortly after check out, was notified by staff of found property in our room. Told that the property would be shipped to our home address, and were directed to a web link to fill out a form. Form was immediately submitted. After two weeks, inquired with hotel about status of the property they found. No record of the property, and staff member who had originally contacted us about the property they found could not recall ever talking to us. Promised to research for the item and call back. Never heard back. We recontected the facility several times, inquiring about where the item was, as they had originally called us, telling us they had found the item and were shipping it to our home adddress. Each time were told they did not have the item and referred us to housekeeping and security, claiming they had no record of the item. Of course housekeeping and security had no knowledge of the item and simply told us to complete the form for lost property. Front desk had property in hand within 1 hour of our check out, contacted us and verified the address to ship it to, and when this never happened, claimed they knew nothing about it. Terrible customer service, poor communication and no accountability from this facility.

My husband and I visited Henderson Beach Resort for the first time and had an amazing experience. The resort is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, and every staff member we encountered was kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The front desk team and our server, Endi, truly stood out and made our stay even more special. As locals, we genuinely enjoyed our time and will most definitely be returning.
