Grand Velas Los Cabos Luxury All Inclusive

Lugar, comidas y trato del personal.

Mantenimiento del hotel

At vi fik reservationer sent om aftenen med 2 små børn. De burde vide vi ville have tid før på aftenen og ikke 20-21

Checkin was frictionless, which can often be a source of irritation after traveling hours to arrive. No issues on that front. Checkout was slower but simple. Staff is very helpful across the board. There's only one restaurant available for breakfast but that have a very wide array of options.

This can't be resolved without tearing down the building and starting over, but the layout was highly frustrating. Just navigating between the room and restaurants often entailed more than one elevator and lots of guesswork to figure out where the restaurants are. Some of the signage was either wrong or confusing. One of the staff even claimed we could take an elevator to the 2nd floor to reach a restaurant, yet the elevator only went to the 3rd floor. Not enough separation for the adults-only pool -- the kids pool overlooks the adults area, and kids would simply hang over the edge of their pool and scream at the top of their lungs. The evening vibe was mostly non-existent. Most bars were empty or only had 4-6 patrons each night. We might be on the older side of their typical guests, but we're not DEAD. It was quiet as a morgue most nights.

everything are great

Simply the best.

Incredible property, and the service was top tier. Highly recommend. Will be back!!

Every aspect of our stay was amazing. The staff, the food, the ambience and amenities. It was a true get away with my wife that allowed us to really connect and relax.

Perfect

The Michelin star restaurant was amazing.

It's hands down the best all-inclusive in Cabo. The food is excellent, the staff is top-notch, the hotel rooms are impeccable, and the amenities are like no other.

Resort was clean and good food options

From the initial phone, call E concierge Fernanda to the front desk check-in Maria to our personal concierge Jose the training and follow-through of the staff is amazing. Combine this with the most beautiful luxurious hotel situated next to the waterfront five star dining in every restaurant you cannot go wrong with Grand Velas for those that want to save a few pennies. This is not the place for you for those that don’t mind spoiling themselves and their families and giving them a 10 star experience I highly recommend it. I’m a huge fan of this franchise. I visited Nuevo Vallarta Cabo San Lucas and looking forward to going to Cancun to visit the other resort.

Outstanding

An amazing experience all around

The property was beautiful and all of the food was incedible. Truly enjoyed our 4 days here. Will definitely be coming back again next time.

Kind of boring

Incredible! Highly recommend! Beautiful rooms, wonderful service, and excellent food!!

I loved absolutely everything, the room the food the attention everyone is so helpful I am very excited and looking forward going back

I stay at this property every time I come to Cabo but I will not be returning. Pool service was terrible both days. I had to constantly ask to find my server and nobody would come to ask us what we wanted to eat/drink. I had to go to the bar to get my drinks myself because the server was nowhere to be found BOTH days. You go to cabo to enjoy the poolside service and there literally was none. When I arrived my family of 6 went up and down several times in the heat looking for the private car we reserved in advance. My dad is handicapped and the vehicle wasn't ready for us. I was told to look for a sign, there was none. When your paying $440 for car service you expect a little more. Lastly I booked a photography session with a “professional photographer” who appeared to be a staff member with a point and shoot camera. Overall disappointed I couldn't purchase more photos because they simply weren’t good.

Amazing! Views pool and spacious room.

This is a beautiful hotel, grounds, and numerous restaurants. We had a huge 2000sqft room with windows with sliding doors on two sides of the room. In room hot tub and a plunge pool on the deck. Beautiful sunrise views. The shower was massive, overhead, 3wall jets, and a wand. It was so nice I didn’t want to get out. There are 5 huge infinity pools and hot tub on the grounds. I loved this place and didn’t want to leave! We are vegan. Very little on the menu for the many really nice restaurants. This was a little stressful, but they made custom dishes for us, and we ate well. The many activities in the area will pick u up at the hotel lobby. We even saw whales from our room in May, which is rare.

My recent stay at Grand Velas was a bit of a splurge—but absolutely worth it. From start to finish, the experience exceeded expectations in every way. A huge thank you to Claudia, our personal concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary trip was both memorable and joyful. Her attentiveness and warmth truly made a difference. The service overall was exceptional. Every staff member—from the bellman to housekeeping to the pool attendants—was professional, friendly, and eager to help. It’s clear that service is a top priority here. The resort itself is stunning. The adults-only infinity pool was a serene oasis, and the gym facilities were top-notch. And the food—just wow. Every meal was outstanding, but a special shoutout goes to Cocina de Autor. As a Michelin-starred restaurant, my expectations were high, but the chef delivered a world-class experience that rivaled (and in some cases surpassed) other star-rated restaurants I’ve visited. Thank you to everyone at Grand Velas for an unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back!

The Grand Class Corner Suite was beautiful and spacious. The oceanfront balcony with private plunge pool was stunning! The food and drinks were excellent. Our concierge was attentive to any needs, especially coordinating a whale watching tour on short notice. The DJ played our favorite songs and provided excellent service as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Grand Velas. We highly recommend booking Grand Velas Los Cabo’s. The whale watching tour was amazing!

If I could give this property more stars, I would. We travel extensively, and this has become one of the most professional, customer-oriented, high-quality resorts we've been to. I've been there twice now, and it has improved even from 2 years ago. It is challenging to find an all-inclusive that does not consistently try to upsell products and services, but Grand Velas does not do that. In addition, I have found recently that it is tough to find a hotel or resort where employees seem happy to be there and who are exceedingly customer-focused - Grand Velas has managed to find the margic combination and I cannot wait to return.

My third stay at the Grand Velas Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who ensured a smooth check-in process. The grandeur of the hotel's lobby instantly set the tone for the luxurious experience that awaited me. The room as always was immaculate and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the premium amenities, spoke of high quality. The daily housekeeping and turned down service was impeccable, maintaining the room's pristine condition throughout my stay. Dining at the Grand Velas was an unforgettable culinary journey. Each restaurant offered a unique menu with dishes that catered to diverse tastes, showcasing both local flavors and international cuisine. The service at the pool was consistently attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. The spa provided a serene escape, offering an array of treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The pool area was beautifully maintained, providing a perfect spot to unwind under the sun. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request made the experience truly exceptional. Antonio our concierge was amazing ! I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

Spa is legendary.

Upscale resort, great restaurants, beautiful pools, rooms were superb

Excellent all inclusive resort, with lovely staff. 2 family friendly pools, amazing restaurants. We had such a relaxing time and the ocean facing room had a beautiful view.

Property was beautiful. We never left. My child loved the kid’s club. Food at Sin Lin was the best. The ceviche bar was delicious too. The grill and the churros and ice cream and the coffee bar were all fun choices. The disappointing food was breakfast and lunch buffet at Azul which was bland and not up to the dining standards of the other restaurants. The hotel was all inclusive which is so nice. We were told tips were included but every check had a section to add more. Not knowing how much of the all inclusive went to the tips - it was hard to know how much more to add. Felt like many of the staff were hoping for more. Seems like when we’re spending that much money - we shouldn’t have to think about adding more tips. That would be my biggest complaint. The other annoying thing is that I asked for healthy snacks in the mini bar and I was told they would get back to me - but never did. Other than that - it really is a special place.

We had an amazing stay at Grand Velas. The food and drink was 10/10. All areas of the property well maintained, friendly staff, great pool side service and gorgeous views.

Absolutely Perfect – A True 5-Star I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The staff were beyond amazing—attentive, friendly, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. The resort grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, well-maintained, and offer a true luxury feel. My butler ( Antinio) was exceptional, anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. Every detail, from check-in to check-out, was seamless. Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW! When they say “all-inclusive,” they truly mean everything is included. From breakfast, lunch, and dinner to premium drinks, I was blown away by the variety and quality. Every meal was a delightful experience with top-notch ingredients and world-class presentation. One of the biggest surprises was the Spa—absolutely worth it! The treatments were incredibly relaxing, and the atmosphere was pure bliss. Overall, this resort offers the ultimate luxury getaway with outstanding service, stunning surroundings, and a true all-inclusive experience (no hidden costs!). I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a worry-free vacations

Excellent services, great food options, friendly staff with all smiles

Everything about this place was excellent ! The food , the room, the staff. My kids loved it

Exceptional. Very kind and friendly staff. All the restaurants and services are great. Definitely I will back there.

Service was slow. Only staffs who very kind and helpful was kids club staffs.

The most wonderful food I’ve ever had in Mexico .

Grand Velas was absolutely fabulous! We brought our 3 kids and we were spoiled from day one. Our personal concierge Blair was phenomenal. Friendly, professional and attentive to anything we needed. Typically we avoid all inclusive resorts because we enjoy higher quality dining and drinks - we decided to try Grand Velas based on other great reviews and we are so glad we did! We also have to give a shout out to Isabella who served us by the pool, she was fantastic!

This was our second time here and it was another perfect family vacation. You seriously can’t get a better all inclusive resort than this. Our personal concierge Antonio went above and beyond for our family and he truly helped make our stay incredible. Highly recommended this place for a family trip with children. Perfect for all ages.

Extraordinary service. Catered to our every need, including dietary restrictions. Lovely pool area. Grand class corner suite had stunning view and private plunge pool. On-site restaurants were generally very good, and Cocina de Autor was outstanding.

It was a great place to relax

additional pre-payment repeatedly request by the hotel, despite Booking.com having taken payment.

Amazing service and staff friendly and ready to help you

Very friendly staff

Amazing property and amazing staff and and service. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend staying at this resort.

We stayed here for a short stay. Everything was beautiful. The staff were so helpful and nice people, the food available was great with so much choice. What a hotel for anyone to experience!

Service, food, attitude

Long corridors, no swimming in the ocean.

Had a great time in this property.

One of a kind all inclusive resort. Best place to travel with kids. Have done kosher options

Amazing

Lovely property with beautiful views, nice rooms, excellent staff and good dining options. The buffet restaurant, Frida and Lucca restaurants were excellent food and service (portions could be a bit bigger, but the resort is all-inclusive so you can always order more). We had a problem with musty odor in one of our rooms which despite staff trying to replace/clean a carpet, did not abate. It limited our ability to use the room, which was part of a two-bedroom ambassador suite we reserved. On that note, the 2-BR suite is not really a suite. It is two adjoining rooms. The listing on Expedia also indicated a "plunge pool" (in two places on the listing), which is not part of this room class. I pointed that out to management as it is essentially false advertising. The management offered us a concession on a future stay and we would happily stay there again, but I think the ambassador 2-BR family suite is not advertised correctly. The pools are beautiful and there are nice amenities like a kids club, teen club, ping pong, etc. The beach at the resort is not swimmable but excursions from Cabo are easily arranged through 3rd parties and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the marina, where there is also a public beach easily accessible. All in all, we'd happily stay there again, and anticipate the management will honor their commitment to remediating the inconvenience we experienced with the room issue. Thanks!

Absolutely incredible. Highly recommend, especially with kids. I can go on and on. This is the definition of 5 star property on every level.

Beautiful, clean and excellent property! Assigned concierge (Daniel) did an excellent job! Perfect for kids and family, lot of kid activities, tasty food, cosy rooms and staff took excellent care of us - will definitely visit again!

10/10 on everything! Tell the world

Everyone was very welcoming and friendly their kids club is the absolute best definitely recommend to families traveling with children. Everything is definitely inclusive!!

Great attentive staff, not pushy at all. No time share pitches anywhere. Food was good (for a resort) and we never felt unsatisfied with the taste of everything. The personal concierge was a nice touch, as he kept us up to date with reservation times and was quite knowledgeable. We would come back here! Great stay!

Wonderful! Nishma & Jorge were amazing!!!! Definitely 5 stars!

Good food , nice staff .

The best resort! Great staff and amazing food

All of it. Staff was so incredibly attentive. Food and drinks were wonderful. Family had a relaxing time!

I researched many all inclusive resorts. Property was better than expected. We paid more; but worth it for quality of service and amenities. Highly recommend.

Amazing food, great views, best spa, outstanding service. Attention to details.

I would stay at this property again. It was fantastic

Amazing hotel. Food, staff, property were all wonderful.

Excellent resort

Resort was beautiful, staff was very helpful and friendly, dinner restaurants were exceptional and we loved the breakfast as well, so many kid-friendly activities/amenities, bed was comfortable and loved the blackout curtains, beautiful views. The resort felt very safe and the service was unmatched!

Lunch restaurant timing was not ideal for us with a toddler - it didn't open until noon and that's when she had to take a nap, so the first day she didn't get lunch in time for her nap. The following day we ordered kids breakfast room service ahead of time to be delivered at 11:30 so she could eat first. Alcoholic drinks weren't poured very strong - had to ask for extra which is fine.

Absolutely amazing! Every restaurant was fantastic.

If you want a taste of paradise, this resort is where you will find it….. Absolutely amazing!!!

Great 5 star resort option in cabo

Uriel was our concierge excellent and all the staff too.

Fabulous. Meticulous. Exceptionally well trained staff. Felt well taken care of and you definitely get what you pay for. The only thing is that although it says tips included, they still seem to be very much expected. Take extra cash and be prepared to add tips at the restuarants.

Stunning place with perfect service The staff here is really accommodating to every need. Food is great for all inclusive. And resort is stunning

Fun and Luxury Get Away

The property was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. BUT, the hotel wrongfully overcharged us. We pre-paid our rooms through Expedia, and when we showed up at check-in, the hotel claimed that we owed an additional $864 because two of our children were over the age of 3. We were a party of 6. 2 adults and 4 children ages 17, 16, 13 and 11, all of which was entered with Expedia at booking. When we disputed at check-in that we owed any additional money over what we pre-paid, they told us they were dropping the issue. Then we noticed on our final bill, that the hotel did not drop it, but wrongfully charged us the $864. Expedia eventually refunded us the wrongfully charged amounts, but the hotel charging us under these circumstances was absolutely not appropriate. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY. WE WERE NOT TREATED ETHICALLY BY THE MONEY PEOPLE THERE. This is a shame as the staff at the resort were otherwise very friendly and helpful people.

Exceptional service

If you want to have a beautiful relaxing experience and feel completely catered to the entire time, then book an all inclusive package at Grand Velas. All of the dining options are incredible, and a personal concierge assigned to you the moment you arrive. Turn-down service, and don’t even get me started about the spa. We booked an aromatherapy massage that was incredible. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed.

This hotel is the best all inclusive hotel you could imagine . The food is far in excess of normal all inclusive fare. If I could I would give it 6 stars

They were not vacuuming the room every day, the food quality at buffet low , they canceled a bunch of stuff like taco stand

Exception experience overall. There was not one thing that did not exceed my expectations. Food was delicious. Room service was excellent. Property was amazing. Every staff member at the Property delivered exceptional customer service. Money well spent. Will definitely book again.

Excellent

Grand Velas was absolutely amazing! It’s no surprise the hotel is so highly-rated; everything from the food, to the staff, to the aesthetic of the property is absolutely amazing. My only complaint? I wish the mattresses were softer and more plush lol

This is our 2nd time to grand velas Cabo Service is excellent Our butler Laura was the best Joel and Carlos at Azul restaurant went above and beyond for us. Velas 10 restaurant never disappoints Food is superb Liquor choice top notch

Highly recommended!

Everything about this hotel is amazing. We went with our 2 boys and it was the best trip ever. Martha and everyone at the kids club took care of jack and Harry so much and it was the first time they asked and begged to go to kids club. Can’t wait to go back. Also Izzy at the pool service was outstanding. She even gave us a little present when we were leaving. 5 plus stars for us!!

Excellent staff and service!

Amazing property with plenty of things to do. We had a great time and will definitely go back.

Everything was AMAZING !!!

Everything was awesome the best hotel I’m Mexico

This is the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and have every amenity you could want (there was a hot tub and plunge pool in ours). The swimming pools are unreal and the quality of the food and drinks second to none (there wasn't a meal we had that I wouldn't have paid for in a restaurant). The thing that sets this place apart though is the service. We had our own concierge (Natalia) and she was the best thing about our stay. There was nothing that was too much for her to do and she was a really useful source of information on transport/excursions etc. Natalia also arranged all our dinner reservations and was a real point of difference for our stay.

Taxis are pricey from the hotel so Uber is a great resource (it's much cheaper). The beach isn't swimmable at the hotel and you can't walk to the nearest one. Having said that the pools at the hotel are so good that you won't really want to leave.

Good dining options, however, most of the specialty restaurants require reservations that need to be made well in advance.
