Ok mad - vi fik morgenmad og aftensmad. Men små portioner.

Da vi ankom var der ikke andet end vand - hverken te eller kaffe. Der var beskidt rundt omkring og insekter i køkkenskufferne. Tv’et virkede ikke. Der var desuden heller ikke toiletpapir - det var vi nødt til at efterspørge.

Peaceful atmosphere, friendly & helpful staff, excellent value for money, delicious food. Our family of 5 stayed in a villa at Gusde for 21 nights and we enjoyed every single day there - so peaceful and we were made to feel like family!

We would have liked to have had our own sunloungers by our private pool or comfortable seating. Also quite a few ants/drain flies due to the rural setting.

Villa polozona w bujnej roślinności. Tak sobie wyobrażałem Bali! Klimat super! Ville z drewna, prywatny basenik, cena niewygorowana. Fakt ze juz widac w paru miejscach uplyw czasu ale... Jak ktoś szuka luksusów... niech leci do Dubaju :) Jak ktoś chce poczuć wyjątkowy klimat Ubud i Bali to Gusde znakomicie to odda! Dodatkowo odgłosy natury! Nad basen przyleciały świetliki!!! Przemiła obsługa to na Bali chyba standard ;)

Niets het kwam totaal niet overeen met de foto’s.

Eten is te weinig en kwaliteit verschilt per dag. Het ging van redelijk naar slecht. Geen toast brood voor de kleine.

We had a great stay in one of the private villas with pool. We enjoyed the quieter location and the food in the hotel was excellent, with good options nearby as well. The villa could do with some minor fixes but nothing that took away from the stay. The staff did everything to make it a pleasant stay for us.

Some easy maintenance that would improve it further would be to ensure little gaps for mosquitos are fixed up, adding a mosquito net for the top bed and fixing some of the pool tiles.

El restaurante estaba muy bueno. La habitación era grande, con cocina y piscina privada.

La puerta no cerraba bien y la habitación no estaba del todo limpia. Falta algo de mantenimiento a las instalaciones

Insalubre des animaux de toutes sortens dans la chambre lit pas du tous confortable les draps n’ont pas était changer tous le long du séjours (4 jours ). Ma fille de 1 ans sais faite attaquer par les moustiques malgres les produit acheter en pharmacie est la moustiquaire, plusieurs type de lézards on partager nos nuits la Clim fuyait de partout personnels accueillant

There’s something for everyone at Gusde Tranquil Villas, and a budget to suit every traveler. Sure, some of the older villas are a bit basic in terms of what the have to offer I.e no kitchen etc, but with so many amazing restaurants nearby, including Sacred Rice just across the road, and travellers espresso just a few short steps away, why would you need a kitchen anyway. Also, the restaurant at the villa is also very good, serving a great breakfast, and coffee is good too. And if you’re willing to spent little more money, you get an upgraded double story modern and spacious villa, with its own private swimming pool. And if all the places we stayed in an around Bali Guade easily had the most friendly and accommodating staff, which makes us keen to book our next holiday with them as well! Pro tip, traffic around Ubud is a nightmare! Getting around on motor scooters ia much faster than by car, but you can also walk into town from Gusde in about 30mins. Which is half the time that it takes for a taxi to travel the same distance! Highly recommended, and we will be back !

It was serene.

The villa is not as described. There is no rice field view, but an ugly old block of land. Access to upstairs bedroom is via outside stair case - not very convenient and safe to put my kids there alone. We had paid for breakfast and dinner - both had minimal options and unsuitable for children, there was a pancake option for breakfast and the pancakes were raw inside. No dessert for the dinner, and we just skipped dinner and breakfast the last day. My kids got severely bitten by mosquitos during the night. WiFi was very intermittent.

Need fly insect spray made available lots of bugs so be ok with that . It's Bali mosquitoes could be a problem but we sprayed regularly and they had nets it's still lovely

Very pretty looking plants, rustic and cultural

The organisation was bad, got there and the rooms had no cups, cuttlery, and toilet seat was broken. There was no welcome fruit platter which it says we get in the booking. We had to ask the staff several times to come and give us some plates. No mini bar. Mould in some of the facilities.

Very beautiful place. Our villa was amazing, very luxurious. The staff were friendly enough. The walk to our villa, through the grounds impressed me each time, so pretty.

Not as private as we thought, especially our pool area. Location is a bit further from Ubud center than we thought and to be honest there isn't much within walking distance.

Villa was huge. Breakfast was alacarte and each option very nice. Loved the aspect from the Villa looking out to the view. This was a great option and fabulous value for money - nice to be out of the hustle of Ubud itself and we were able to walk to the centre in about 40-50 mins which is quicker than a taxi I think with the traffic.

Villa could have been a little cleaner. The bath and sinks in bathrooms looked a little unclean and the pool a little unclean even though people came twice a day to clear the leaves which was excellent.

The place is nice but it is not the property I paid for.

Being charged 10,000 rupiah for complementary water bottle that I put in the freezer because it was hot and forgot about so it broke.

Internet is not very strong and we had lots of issues with it.

It was clean, big, nice pool and staff .Honestly , I recommend this place 100% . Not far from Ubud , in a calm neighbourhood, close to supermarkets , restaurants at walking distance . And a Big thanks to Komang ( the receptionist) for the wonderful floating Breakfast and also her professionalism .

Very pretty gardens. Beds were comfy.

Our unit was very neglected. In need of maintenance. Only 2 towels and 2 cups , only 3 pool beds. Only a sofa for 2 people in the living room. Towels always smelt musty. Huge hole in one bathroom ceiling. Huge gaps for bugs in all doors. AC was pouring water, they fixed with cardboard then wood. Pool had lots of broken tiles. Large rat came into one bathroom. Cleaning was not good very superficial. No cutlery, no wine glasses, no water glasses , very poorly supplied and stocked. Sure when we complained they responded but this should all have been set up ready for 4 people. Other units were much much better, cleaner and actually furnished. Ours felt like a neglected partly renovated unit that they took everything out of to finish the others.

The incredibly spacious room was set in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking the pool in a lovely Bali style with readily available services. The restaurant was cosy with good food and drinks. There are many steps to the room but staff ready and willing to help with baggage.

Cleanliness of room needed improvement, particularly in the bathroom where the bath surface was peeling. The broken window with cracks needed repair.

Loved the location, staff and the way it was designed keeping the privacy in mind. The aesthetics were too good

The shower area was a big big problem. We stayed at Dewi 02 suite, the shower area was way too small for an average person to fit in also every time you shower the bathroom used to get choked.

Breakfast was great and the location was also good.

The rooms were part of a bigger house which we were not expecting.

It is far enough away from the hustle & bustle of hectic Ubud. Like the name suggests very tranquil. Laundry services across the road. Lots to explore in the neighbourhood, minimart very handy.

We stayed right at the bottom of the property which was quite a steep walk given I have recently had foot surgery. Our room upstairs was a little rundown. Second room was right on the edge of the Forrest, absolutely stunning.

Loved the pool area in front of our Bungalo but the fountain kept going off. Other than that it was great.

The fountain kept having problems and going off. The sound of the fountain was the Tranquil part in the name of the place. Community kitchen was NOT VERY CLEAN... and not supplied very well- so didn't use it.

Food was nice.

Our room was advertised as quiet street view, They gave us a room down stairs without a view. The street was noisy and our room was right next to the restaurant and reception area which was very noisy from very early in the morning to after midnight. We also had not screens around the windows and doors which called for a mosquito net over the bed. The mosquito net was dusty smelling, had a yellow tinge to it and was covered in blood spots from I presume squashed Mosquitos.

We love everything about this villa, the location is really in the quite side of Ubud ,which we really need that for resting after long day.. ,and its only take around max 10 minutes to the central of Ubud.. the view is amazing , , the room is so huge with a swimming pool directly in the front of the room..the staff were so nice and helpfull... unfortunetely we didnt have breakfast there but well the dinner was zo delicious ,everything was just like we expected.. we will defenetely come back again..

The hotel was a great location , the staff were lively and helpful. It was a lovely setting . The room was very nice. The restaurant was very nice .

Some of the aerial shot of the hotel clearly need updating , this is not what you see when you are there , it’s not surrounding by paddy fields. The room was we had was very nice supposed to be with a ‘nice view ‘ we had a fish pond with koi carp as our view but it was open to the public to come in , the pond was noisy all night , which did keep me awake , the bed was uncomfortable . The breakfast was ok.

We liked our room with the bathtub very much plus we liked that they fulfilled our request of decorating the room with petals ( as we were on our honeymoon). Also we liked the swimming pool.

To reach out room we had to walk too much and also during night to reach our room we feel little scary as it was a narrow ally

Quite area close to Ubud city centre. Amazing small restaurants around. Villas was basic but comfortable

Our friends had their own villa with pool and sadly it wasn't maintained well and the water was yellow. But the other three pools were nice and blue so everyone enjoyed themselves in the end

The room location and little verandah were fabulous looking out across the pool and distant rice fields. It was beautiful and quiet, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and so helpful and good to talk to

There was a construction going on, and many of the things that booking describes about the property or included services were not true

It was spacious and the decor was absolutely lovely. They thought about everything.

The utensils could have done with being updated. Didn’t have any mugs for a hot drink, also didn’t have a spoon or proper knife. Not all the lights outside worked and there was one light that flickered.

Property is old and needs a freshen up, don’t rely on the photos! The air con doesn’t work very well and the bedrooms are too hot to be in during the day so you’re limited to the dark kitchen area. We didn’t enjoy the restaurant on site but there other options around. Worse thing was the distance and traffic into Ubud, took 30 mins each way.

We love this property and it was my 4th time staying here. The location is away from the hustle but close enough to get there when we wanted too. Staff is very kind and helpful to book car/drivers and day trips as well as airport transfer. The nasi goreng is super yummy! It’s wonderful to have a pool to share with only one other villa…very beautiful and relaxing. Beds, linens and pillows are very comfortable. Very close to local wood carver shop and excellent spa (Jaens Spa Shanti) as well as a couple other restaurants.

It’s an aging property so there are some minor issues with maintenance. We understand this is normal wear and tear and can be difficult to keep up with during trying times. We still very much enjoyed our stay and will return!

The service and location were perfect. It’s far away enough from the hustle and close enough to enjoy. The team helped us to meet all our needs and exceeded expectations. Very comfortable and clean.

It was great that we had two villas and a private pool

Sorry, but the room was scattered with animal droppings. The bed was like concrete. We only had a sheet for a bed covering and no doona. And the worst part, I have come out with over 30 bed bug bites. I went to the doctor today to find out what they were and I was shocked
