Rooms are specious with a heater and hot water bottles in winter. Try the aircon and electric blankets in future. This place would be really nice if you travell with family as it has its own little garden and a braai stand readily available. My room also had a kitchenette which is most convenient when you travel with family. This place is the best when you want to forget the city for a while and connect with nature. They also have a nursery if you love plants like me.

I checked in late, and there was nowhere to find food . The restaurant was closed, not even a sandwich bar nor a vending machine to grab a chocolate. The heater was not powerful enough to warm the room. No wyfy code provided as I had to get a delivery. My delivery app did not respond, so I had to go out to buy food anyway. The TV seemed to only play 1 station

The staff were excellent, the service was excellent, the nursery, gardens and rural atmosphere on the edge of SA's biggest city was excellent. It is the ideal weekend escape.

I booked a room with 2 single beds. My request was accepted, confirmed via e-mail and I was reminded again via e-mail to join Booking.com, of which I was a member already, to confirm my request and yet. I did not get 2 single beds. Not an issue as we are a married couple, it is safer to snore in a single bed, LOL.

I love the garden. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, We enjoyed it so much.

A nice quite place not far out of the city. The food was very nice and the staff where all very friendly. I was also very happy to see that the pictures of the accommodation were accurate. A nice size cottage not cramped at all.

Nothing major that I did not like. I know it is a farm and there are bound to be insects but had a visit from a Parktown Prawn just after a storm. also had ants digging through just below the taps on the bath, so had to wash them away every morning.

The place cleanliness, friendly staff, they offered us so many things like milk, cream, ice cubes, charcoal. It was the 3rd time going there, I will book again thx to the management.

That there was nothing to do. No spa at least. No alcoholic drinks on the menu. The food was not great had to even go to blueberry mall for food

On Christmas day we given gifts which made the start to our day extra special. It was really thoughtful of them. Ronald and the staff were always ready to assist with all our needs. The place is beautiful and peaceful, great value for money. We got milk and cream fresh from the cows every morning

I loved the whole complex. It was peaceful, green with lots of songbirds. The staff was very friendly. The food was nice. Thanks for the great stay.

The price matches the value. It is not 5 star a little rustic but its very comfortable and farmish...which we enjoy

Nothing like the pictures. Grubby! Not value for money! All reviews are great, but honestly not up to standard! No hot water the cherry on the top.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming Nkosi showed us the cottages and explained everything.If they can cut the grass near cottages especially in this rainy season.I took a walk in the morning listened to the sounds of birds.Then came back and enjoyed my very creamy coffee and fresh rusks 💯.I would definately book again.

It was an awesome experience, the perfect place to take long walks,the freedom to walk all over, the well kept gardens,the friendliness of all the staff and all over calmed atmosphere. It's like a childhood memories of visiting family on school holidays on the farm

Received a very welcoming arrival. The staff is absolutely amazing. Loved the surroundings and beautiful gardens. My garden cottage was cosy and comfortable. Will definitely stay over again.

I could hear the family talking in the adjacent cottage till quite late, which spoiled the quiet and tranquillity I was seeking.

I felt so safe and the staff were absolutely wonderful.

The room was small. It is hard to have fresh air coming into the room unless you open the front door, but there is an air conditioner - a saving grace. The bed linen was clean.

The serenity of the place was breathtaking So homely. The garden topped them all.

The stay was too short I wish we could have stayed one more night to explore.

Quaint property located among lush indigenous greenery. Check out their coffee shop as well. Staff were very welcoming.

In Winter, room was cold. Blankets provided were thin. Perhaps look into supplying thicker blankets for the current winter we have. There was a small fin heater provided, but could look into better heating options.

Everything. But we thought some of the facilities could be upgraded. Comfortable stay though, and superb staff assistance and response.

The venue was much further (by 4km) than indicated on the site.

Wow, what a gem! The accommodation is beautifully clean and the kitchenette is well-equipped. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. The surrounding gardens and farmland are beautiful, and we took several lovely walks. Close to Joburg. Highly recommended.
