Not much

Check in was available from 12pm and we arrived later and rooms were still not ready for check in, Furthermore the aircon was not working in one of the rooms which made the stay uncomfortable on a heatwave, the location is questionable also

Номер просторный, вид из окна был чудесен, мне подарили номер лучше, чем я бронировала, и я была в восторге с окнами с видом на Галатскую Башню. В номере было так уютно, и окна были такие просторные и много солнца, что мне не хотелось выходить. Кровать очень большая и удобная. Ну и конечно, самым важным при выборе у меня было: не только комфорт и эстетика, но и расположение от центра города: центр улицы Истикляль находится прямо в 4-5 минутах пешком, да и рядом все было то, что мне было интересно в данной поездке: Галата, улочки, магазинчики. Отдельное спасибо хозяину за помощь с тяжелыми чемоданами и вызовом трансфера, это очень ценно!

Ничего не огорчило) Здорово было бы розеток побольше, но это чисто мое предпочтение)

The view was amazing

Está en un sitio inmejorable. Todo lo importante puede ser visitado a pie y está cerca el ferry para ir a la parte asiática. Es un hotel tranquilo y contestan inmediatamente a las peticiones. Trato muy agradable 😌

расположение хорошее, близко к самым популярным туристическим местам, метро, остановкам

звукоизоляции совсем нет - всю ночь слышно, что происходит на улице, а там всегда шумно, играет музыка, люди разговаривают и смеются без перерывов. варианта с окнами в тихую сторону нет - все номера на одну сторону. спать очень некомфортно. номер крошечный, буквально не пройти, нужно перепрыгивать через кровать. напор в душе оставляет желать лучшего. на ресепшен никогда никого нет. лестница наверх крутая, лифт отсутствует.

La posizione

Non c’era nessuno ad accoglierci nonostante avessimo concordato per telefono l’orario di arrivo. Ci hanno aiutato dei ragazzi di un locale nelle vicinanze che hanno contattato il proprietario che comunque non si è mai presentato. Abbiamo fatto il check in l’ultimo giorno e solo una volta ci hanno cambiato un asciugamano: eravamo in tre!

Great location & Cleaning lady very good

The location is perfect, a few minutes away from Taksim or İstiklal. There is plenty of restaurants and shops nearby whenever you need something. Kiosks, coffee shops, fast food... İ personally wasn't bothered by the noise, despite sleeping with the balcony door open every night I didn't hear anything loud except for some people singing once or twice. On that note, we had an AMAZİNG sleep every night. The beds are extremely comfy, and the wind coming in felt so good. İt's definitely worth getting a room with a balcony. İt's so relaxing sitting there, probably even more so at night (at least at this time of the year). The room and the bathroom get cleaned daily and overall it felt cozy being there.

The balcony was dirty. (Unlike the room itself which was very clean) The stairs could be a problem for some people so consider which floor your room is on and if you can manage it once or twice a day. The shower needs repairing. The diverter valve doesn't work properly, resulting in water flowing to three different outputs at the same time (showerhead etc) so the water pressure is divided between all three and is very weak, making showering very unsatisfying. The water also doesn't drain quickly enough so you end up standing in water. This is not a huge deal though but should be fixed.

The property has excellent location. The rooms are on the smaller side, but clean and comfortable. The host is very attentive and always ready to help. I stayed with my friend for 4 nights and we loved it there!

Great position. Good communication even though there is no reception desk.

The door of the bathroom do not close, which is not really convenient if you share the room, and for the shower as well. I recommend to repair it. Also please have a look at the windows of the bigger room, as the sealing does not seem perfect, which causes humidity.

Останавливаюсь третий раз, нравится все: чисто, хорошая локация, очень удобно, небольшой номер, но все необходимое есть. Удобная и большая кровать. Гостеприимные и приятные хозяева. Я прилетела ночью, они меня заселили прямо ночью без проблем. Всегда на связи, отвечают подробно и быстро 🙏

Locatie en ruime kamer

Het enige kleine minpuntje is dat er geen lift is, maar dit had ik van te voren al gelezen.

Очень маленький приватный отель. На лобби как правило никого нет, но сотрудников можно найти в магазине напротив. Дверь открывается по коду. Близко ко всему. Ночью на улице иногда бывало шумно, я так и не понял почему, вроде рядом нет баров. Чисто, но номера очень маленькие.

no desayune alli pero el sitio esta en una zona perfecta cerca de todo, hay muchos lugares para comer y lo mejor es que en frente esta un tienda abierta 24 horas y es perfecto

que el ruido de la calle es muy fuerte, hay mucho movimiento de gente y los coches toda la noche y suepe ser muy molesto pero el edificio esta construido asi

La persona que me recibió, era la persona que atiende la tienda de enfrente fue muy amable y estuvo pendiente siempre de mí.

Lamentablemente cuando llegué tuve varios problemas, el cuarto olía mucho a cigarrillo, la toalla del baño estaba rota, el ruido de la calle es muy fuerte, se oyen fiestas, gente gritando y mucha música.

Отличное расположение рядом с Таксим, небольшой уютный номер, вид из окна на оживленную улочку с местным колоритом, вкусный завтрак в кафе неподалеку, отзывчивый персонал.

По приезду нам предложили 2 отдельных номера с видом на улочку, но мы бронировали другой номер с видом на город и Галатскую башню более чем за полгода! Наш номер оказался занят 🤔 В целом это получилось даже удобнее, т.к. оплату за второй номер с нас не взяли, но небольшой осадочек остался...

Завтрак накрывают в соседнем ресторане, ждать его нужно больше получаса .. в любом месте можно покушать быстрее, поэтому в бронирование завтрак добавлять больше не буду

Absolutely beautiful rooms. Wonderful decor. Very comfortable. The best shower ever. Great location, close to all sorts of dining options and Istiklal, as well as Taksim square. Lovely staff. Great value.

В этом отеле мы останавливаемся 3 раз, два раза их них в 302 номере - расположение - вид из окна - сам номер на первый взгляд - администратор старался и всегда отвечал на вопросы

- душевая лейка с краном, она настолько износилась,что вода хлещет просто из всех швов, целый фонтан, переключить на что-то одно нереально, видимо администрация не хочет это менять - кондиционер ломался 2 раза, в прошлом году он тоже ломался

The location was centralized in Taksim excellent for walking towards major landmarks. The staff where friendly answering questions anytime. The breakfast was good at the cafe nearby good and filling. The room itself was clean and nice. If you are looking to just stay somewhere clean and good and go out all day this hotel is great value. Safety is good too with passcode to enter the building.

Stairs, No elevator might be bothersome for some guests. struggled going up with heavy baggage and no info about it prior. Breakfast could have been communicated that it is a partnership with the cafe. the cafe has odd hours sometimes opening at 9:00 sometimes 10:30 if it was more consistent.

Beautiful building, nice breakfast, friendly personal. It was easy to communicate and to find a solution for all the questions.

The worker was not at the place when he should be. The faucet in the room was broken. But I think all of this can be easily solved.

The location is central and the guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

We had a «Double Room with Balcony» for a 2-night stopover and didn't regret it. Top location, nice balcony with a view, comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast advice: check out the Well Breakfast & Coffee two hundred meters down the street.

Carrying your luggage to the top floor might be tough, but I was prepared for that. The street might get loud, but it didnt disturb us. We were surprised with the absence of TV on the wall though — not an essential item, but still, why was it taken away as if someone stole it (not us, lol). Not much to complain about, but with $90 per night it seems a tad pricey

Structure without lift not mentioned in the advert, booked 3 nights of which one was not used and for which I had no refund. The facility could have given me a more comfortable room knowing that I had undergone surgery. They could have helped with the suitcases. Tiny room that makes it difficult to turn around. Bathroom 30 centimeters away from the bed with frosted glass door but under 30 centimeters of air it didn't touch the floor you could hear everything. Heating not working they brought a heater which prevented passage to go to bed as the room was already tiny. TV without any instructions impossible to operate. Even with the windows closed you could hear revelry on the street.

Friendly and helpful stuff, easy and fast communication. Was able to check in late in the evening, appreciate that. Location is great and price is fair

Important and big point: no elevator in the building, small stairs to bring up or down your heavy luggage (stayed at 4th floor). Room has everything you may need but is really small, especially when you'd have been two people. Didn't had enough space to open my bag on the floor. Bathroom also very small and one door used for closing the bathroom and same time the shower.

Our holiday got ruined by the owner Aziz, therefore we cannot recall anything good. Shocking and disgusting attitude, aggressive and harassing 3 female guests including elderly mom. He used F word on me and made racist comments. A corrupt and criminal person runs this hostel. Thankfully we have recorded evidence of how he behaved and what he said to us.

The owner ruined our holiday as soon as we arrived on 17th, constantly yelling and shouting and called the Police for us just because as per his own promise -on booking and WhatsApp messages- we asked for discount. We were told if you pay cash there will be discount. He locked my elderly mom and sister who do not speak Turkish, in his office and called for Police. While doing this he was shouting at me over the phone non stop for more than 1 hour ( I was in UK still) threatening me to call Police. After few min, he cancelled the police but asked us money for cancelling Police. He said in Turkey police charges if you call them ! He is a corrupt man himself and ruined Turkish Police reputation. You can imagine how my elderly mom felt when in a foreign country not knowing language, awaiting for a Police. Details of his conversation and behaviour available. Then he agreed I cancel the booking so we will not write a bad review for him. I was willing to cancel to avoid dealing with this dangerous man. But I could not on booking, as my reservation was non refundable. We stayed . I arrived at 2:00 am. The morning after when was leaving the room, he stopped me and continued to fight and yell. When I challenged him, admitted he mentioned Police to scare us. I have been travelling ALL my life, have not seen such a thing ever. On check out day, he started talking about money again. I said to him to STOP talking about money- He used F word on me. It was the most horrible experience of travelling. We paid 445 $ cash,exact booking rate. This place is not a Hotel, does not follow any basic standards. No reception. On arrival, you have to wait and ask neighbours to inform the owner to come and open the door. A 2-bed room with a convertible sofa bed, could barely accommodate 3 adults with luggages. The sofa was very uncomfortable. The stairs are so steep and moving luggage very difficult. Cleaner knocks the door every pm when you are resting because wants to clean the room.

The hotel is located in a great location within a 10/15 minute walk to most attractions. The service is at an extremely high level. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and cozy.

The staff was very nice, and communication was good through whatsapp. Location is very nice if you want to stay in a place with nightlife and shops / cafes very close by.

The room was felt smaller compared to the pictures on the website, the place is very noisy even when the windows are closed, and the mattress was very old and not comfortable. I was looking for a place to basically just shower and sleep, so this was okay for me. But if you need some more space, or want a good rest during your vacation I would't recommend this hotel or area.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location.

When completing the booking on booking.com it said that we had breakfast included; however, after checking in we were notified that the 'hotel' does not offer breakfast and that this was a mistake from booking.com's end. So please be aware of this, if booking with breakfast. I knew that the rooms were small from the photos, but did not expect them to be that small, not even any space to put your luggage. So it is good if staying for a couple of nights and only travelling with hand luggage.

Great small hotel with everything you need. Clean and cozy, with small bathroom, kettle and fridge. Very supportive staff, always ready to help.

Small hotel, excellent location and the room was amazing- spotless clean, spacious, cozy and we could even enjoy the view of Galata tower from our window.

The location was great, only 4 minutes walking from Taksim area, it was safe to walk around and get back a bit late with no issue. The host "Artil" was nice and super helpful also checking on me. The room was cozy and well-equipped, the wifi was fast, and the TV had some English movies and TV shows. The bed was comfortable and the room overall super clean.

The AC was a bit too cold A bit noisy by night, with loud cars passing or people shouting but manageable.

The location was great, they were responsive & helpful.

We loved our stay at the Arart hotel, the room was clean, we had everything we needed - safe, hair dryer, teapot with cups, coffee, tea, compliment sweets, water. The view from the balcony on the Galata tower was fascinating!

Everything was great! Few tips for travelers - building has no elevator (not a problem for me). The host can be found in the nearby jewelry shop (on the left from the entrance to the hotel).9

The time we arrived there was really warm and the fridge needed to be working properly to cool water at least.

Arart Hotel is definitely one of the best hotels to stay in Istanbul, specially because of its owner Mr. Arthin. He is a gem of a person & very helpful. He goes out of his way to help you in every way possible. The location of the hotel is also very good. It's walking distance from the famous Galata tower. You have the Taksim square metro station just 200m from where you can roam around all famous places of Istanbul. We had all the access to the hotel,it was like living in your own house.Veru clean & decorated rooms. Loved my stay there!!! Thank you Mr. Arthin & Booking.com.

Very nice spacious room, friendly and really helpful management. I also enjoyed the fact that they had a small collection of detective books on window sill. Hotel is in the very center of everything, but the street is not too noisy somehow.

Location is brilliant, clean, very good shower, price is the best for 1 night. We stayed one night and for such short staying this place is good and nice. Friendly staff at the hotel.

Not as complain but all windows are at the street side, so it’s noisy during the late night. But we were so tired that slept very well. Size of the room can be a little bit tiny for two adults. For short staying it might be ok.

Very nice boutique hotel, good authentic atmosphere, perfect location just few steps away from İstiklal cd and Taksim square, many cute little cafes and shops around.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was nice and the bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, with Taksim Square and the Galata Tower within easy reach. Additionally, the proximity to metro and tram stops made it convenient to explore the city. There's also an airport shuttle bus stop nearby (to both airports), which was a bonus.

Noise from outside during the night which could be disruptive for light sleepers and no breakfast unfortunately.

1. Location - 2 mins to Taksim and İstiklal streets. Many stores, restaurants, cafes nearby. Everything you need is within arm’s reach. 2. The hotel itself is very neat and well-kept, rooms are small yet tidy and with new furniture and finishing. My room was cleaned/refreshed every day. 3. Beret (staff) was very helpful and responsive to all my queries. He helped me organize a transfer and guided me on the whereabouts of some things like breakfast, laundry, etc. Many thanks for the great customer service.

The nearby streets are noisy but that’s expected given the location. The earplugs provided by the hotel were very helpful ;) Overall, I’m very satisfied with the stay and customer service. I’ve had a very safe and pleasant stay at Arart Hotel and the price is reasonable.

Breakfast was not noted for my stay but it didn't matter as there were local cafes and places within the block. Coffee was in room if needed.

Room was quaint in size but perfect for me as a solo traveler. Sleep was my priority at this booking and the bed/sleeping accommodations were amazingly wonderful for what I was looking for (i.e., comfy mattress, pillows, duvet).

Not having a working fridge, it was off for about 12 hours every late afternoon until the morning. The heater didn't work.

It is not about the property itself but more about the street. The street is a little bit noisy and if you are looking for something quiet (specially at night) this place not for you.

The room was very comfortable with a lovely balcony & view. The lady upstairs who provides breakfast & cleans the rooms is delightful. She also has a cat with a cute kitten at the moment.

No lift

Nice little hotel in Istanbul, close to Taksim area. Minimal staff interaction (checkin only), but kind and eager to help. Everything is small (stairs, room, breakfast area), but clean and well maintained. Nicely decorated rooms with air condtioning and good bathroms. Breakfast is very simple, but welcome. Neighbourhood was decent, but expect the regular urban turkish nightlife (everything from luxurious restaurants to small tavernas or dirty and dark street corners). I got a parking place next to the hotel, reserved by the staff on my request.

Internet could have been better. It was a power breakdown one of the evenings, and it was remediated next morning (with no internet, no AC working overnight). Expensive parking (which is the rule in Istanbul, it seems...)

Great location, very friendly, helpful and flexible staff. Room is not large but space is used very effectively. Bathroom is clean and good shower.

Room is noisy because it is right next to the main square. Four flights of stairs to climb, so not good for someone with limited mobility (but staff were very helpful carrying luggage).

The location is near to Taksim Square, which was a good thing for me. The room was comfortable, although it was narrow and crowded with its furniture. Staff were kind and helpful.

The breakfast was very poor in terms of variety and quantities. You can not say that there was a restaurant, but a very narrow space with a few small tables. The stairs were very exhaustive (no lifts). The refrigerator was small and does not work well. The AC did not give the needed coldness, even with setting the lowest temperature possible.

Nothing, terrible stay

Terrible stay, waste of money. This is a hostel/ sharing room. We booked queen room for two ppl. The room is very tiny. Only one person can move at time. The bathroom was small. Shower water was dripping out, no proper draining system. Room service was Okay. Breakfast was TERRIBLE. Need to climb 4 floor to have breakfast which is not even worth it.( other hotel served better turkish breakfast) Not WORTH our money.

The owner is a very nice guy! The location!

The room was really small so we didn't have a lot space for our baggages. The bathroom was flooded every single time we had a shower and practically there is not a door between the bathroom and rest of the room so is very uncomfortable. The breakfast was a big disappointment, was very poor and absolutely the worse in our experience in Turkey! Definitely for how much we paid we expected more.
