Hotel was clean and staff were really nice. It was close to where we had to be at 8am. Breakfast was good too

The Hampton Inn was great; easy check-in, comfortable beds and a step-in shower. The staff were very help and co-operative. A top stay !!

Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet pretty good. No fans in bathroom which wasn’t great. Nothing to do in the general area either

Though I'm told it the Hotel was about 10 years old, it still looked new. We commend the people caring for the building. Breakfast was good. I couldn't connect to Wifi, however. There was a beautiful sunset to view from my room, with the added bonus of being able to watch a starling murmuration for many minutes.

Stay was lovely. Comfy bed and clean room/bathroom. Breakfast was a bit crowded but it was a Saturday morning. My request would be to see some dietary choices like almond/soy milk at breakfast. And pancakes.

We liked everything about this hotel. The pool temperature was a little too warm but the grandchildren loved it! Breakfast buffet was very nice.

Clean place

Our room was spacious but a few things came up. There were dirty and damp towels left in the closet outside the bathroom that you could smell through the room. The check-in was extremely slow and absolutely no hospitality was shown. I showed up in my wedding dress with a veil and not a single word was even spoken to me, it was lackluster.

Although most of the hot food was low quality (I don't know exactly why this chain uses powdered eggs) and the rest mostly carbs or sugar, the kitchen staff was helpful, polite and friendly. Top points there! Front desk manager does not know how to smile and is less than accommodating- especially to Americans. Don’t display your politics at your job! But housekeeping gets only 1 star. First night, only 2 paper thin, rough towels in room. I did request more, so 2 more paper thin towels were delivered. Second night, they did not make the bed in the morning...and I was extremely careful to never leave anything on the bed. In my friend's room, they removed her granddaughter's dolls from the bed and made it. Front desk staff was invited into the room to witness that no one had been in there.... housekeeping made excuses (lied). They were just not friendly, not welcoming. Disappointing experience!

Comfortable

Being a Hilton Diamond member I have stayed in my fair share of Hilton's. This property is by far a touch above the rest. Staff was very helpful about the local eateries and very welcoming. Clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a double room with our 2 young children. Really comfortable. Great to have a microwave and a fridge. The bathroom was really lovely. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. The staff filling and keeping up with everything we wonderful. And so kind when I asked for an extra vanilla yogurt for our little guy. I’ve left the pool until last because it’s incredible! So clean. The water is a beautiful warm temperature. It’s just a straightforward pool, no slides or anything but we had so much fun as a family both on arrival and before checkout. We really enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend for families.

Staff was great! Clean hotel with great amenities! The only negative was the mattress needs to be changed. Bed was not comfortable. It was ok for one night. Happy we were not staying longer for this reason only.

It was good

Requested adjoining rooms since we had children a month ago but we did not get it. We checked in early enough to get one. There was no reason why they could not have given them to us. Fourth floor reaked of animals. Rugs are filthy. 4 people in room - only 3 towels. Only 2 facecloths. Building only 9 years old and looked much older. Very very disappointed!

This hotel was top notch in every way. The breakfast was one of the best I've experienced in weeks of traveling across the US and Canada, and the every single member of the hotel staff (night and day) was helpful and friendly. There is also a great First Nation museum very nearby!

Great breakfast staff.

I don't want to blame the staff because it might've been a short staff issue, but check-in is at 3 PM. I arrived at 4:15 PM, and was told in my room hadn't been cleaned yet. I was a little frustrated and was deciding what to do, and then suddenly I was told that my room was ready. Interesting. So I get up there, there's one pillow on each bed with a pillowcase on each, and then the rest of the pillows are just piled on the desk. So we turn on the air and get ready for the show that night. We come back to the room, it's time to go to sleep, and every time the air kicks on and makes a loud bang. This means that having a steady sleep was impossible. I woke up like every 30 minutes the entire night because of this. I do not blame the staff, the air conditioning system is not their fault or responsibility. I think they may have been understaffed for how busy they were that weekend, and that's on management. Because of check-in is at 3 PM, which is late as hell by the way, and I show up an hour and 15 minutes later and it still isn't ready? Really think about this. That's not what I paid for. The staff were friendly, so you have that going for you. But other than that, that stay was absolutely terrible.

Well it was a rough night. This was not the fault of the hotel. They did try this was the fault of the parents. They had a hockey tournament in town. I believe all the teams stayed at the hotel. Well there kids were wild. They were running in the halls until 2am playing in the elevator pushing other kids in the luggage carts. All I can say I will ask next time if they have any tournament in town. But the hotel made things right for me and my family.

Pool was cold and not very clean

Conveniently located near Truro. Easy to find. Friendly service - easy check-in and check-out.

Staff was amazing very accomidating and friendly . Everything was clean. The only downfall was the bathroom doors were barn door style and they didnt lock or close all the way. Other than that the trip was perfect

We really like this hotel very clean,pleasant staff,comfortable bed.My only complaint is with Expedia at check in.I have ask repeatedly for our account to be in both our names since we do not always travel together.Once again the room was under my husband's name and only his I D was excepted.Twice on other occasions I was told my name had been added....not

Nice staff at check in. Very helpful. It was very noisey around midnight with voices coming through the vent and then outside our window but that was just a crowd of people. Hotel itself was great.
