Very nice hotell. Clean. Good food. Nice staff. Great location for us. We will visit Avena again :-)
Went on a 4 day break holiday with friends. Food is not too bad but there is nothing between 2pm -6.30pm, then nothing after 8pm for gluten free options. Bar shuts at 10.30pm on the night. Don't laugh in the lobby as they will tell you to be quiet anytime. by 10.30pm they close the bar and switch all the lights off. They even tell pensioners to go to bed. The only member of staff any fun was Asil always smiling very happy to get you drinks. The rooms are not to bad, clean and well stocked, comfy beds, towels available. The pool would Be good for the ice challenge. Baltic is an understatement. Sadly the fun police made the hotel the most miserable place I've ever stayed in. Was like being back at school, the constant telling off was a joke. Their attitude was rude for laughing, our neighbour was told off for having music at around 11pm it wasn't loud but they had 2 knocks on the door. The staff going round telling everyone off was horrendous and rude. I will never go back here again. Within seconds they are on your case for laughing they even offered to move us to another location to have fun. Honestly it was awful the staff at this hotel. Can't laugh or sing without being told off.
Just came back from an amazing holiday this hotel should be 5 star from its location everything on tap shops restaurants beach the hotel is beautiful spotlessly clean the staff extremely helpful friendly and always cleaning and working hard to accommodate the guests needs we were brought drinks to our sunloungers and the food was lovely very fresh and lots of variety highly recommend and we definitely being going back thank you for making our holiday the best
Stayed here for a whole week with my son for birthday celebrations honestly the most horrible hotel and staff you could imagine.drinks were watered down and the food ok on some nights.as we got to know other fellow Brits we all congregated on one of table only to be told the next day we was too loud and they’re goi my impose drinking bans how style never knows me thing like it were on out holidays ffs it’s a time to be happy and jolly it left a right bitter taste for us all the location of the hotel is quite near alanaya with is a plus point horns to Neil’s never return to this hotel and neither would the people we was there with the gym in the hotel is decent though and sauna is a nice place to chill out I would also say the staff and the worst I’ve experienced in turkey the only person was lovely was kristina the Russian on front of house.
So, you're looking for an all-inclusive holiday? Here's a few things you need to know. * WIFI isn't free at this hotel. It's only free in the lobby. If you want to use it in your room, it's a charge *PER DEVICE*. That means most days it's just a bunch of desperate people staring wide-eyed in the lobby, wondering why they are here. Is the WIFI good? Sometimes. Sometimes it stops working. Sometimes it only works in part of the room. * The spa isn't free. It claims it is, but you go down you're going to be bullied about getting some overpriced treatment package. Want to use the sauna? Only open two hours a day. The hammam? Only available if someone else isn't in there. * No food and drink in the room. Instead you've got to go to the bar, but the bartender will only serve you once he's finished serving his friends. Do you want to close your door? Because there's a problem with that too, and it won't always lock. Do you want to use the safe in the room? Guess what! That's an extra charge, too. * Want to use the gym? Better not use the rower, which is missing a foothold. Want to use the scales? LOL, no one has put batteries in there for weeks.
I booked a family room from February 13 to March 6 for three cyclists. Upon arrival, the internal regulations are clearly displayed at the reception area, including check-in and check-out times, meal hours, and the spa schedule (16:00–18:00). Despite this, we have repeatedly been asked to leave the spa area during the officially stated opening hours. The explanations given were inconsistent, such as “other guests also want to use the sauna” or “it is reserved now, please come back at 17:00.” When payment was taken, it was not communicated that sauna access would depend on the personal discretion or mood of the spa staff. The posted schedule indicates fixed operating hours, not conditional access. As athletes, we rely on sauna sessions for recovery, and this situation has been both frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend the spa service. This has been the worst spa experience I have had in Turkey, and this is my seventh stay in the country.
Had a four night stay here recently, the hotel is clean and staff polite. It has a nice large lobby which is nice to sit in especially in the cooler months when it’s not ideal to sit outside. The room I had was a family room which would be perfect for a family of four (it was just myself and daughter) and it had a small balcony. There is a fridge in the room but they tell you you’re not allowed to take food or drink to your room (bit over the top). I had difficulty making the large shower head work but overall it has a large bathroom and also plenty of space for your things. The buffet was boring and repetitive and can’t say I rated the food much. The bar served a variety of all inclusive cocktails which tasted all very similar and they had tuborg on tap. The wine was awful so I would avoid. The pool was clean and my daughter managed to use it one day we were there. The hotel is roughly ten mins in a car from Antalya and there is not a huge amount for you to do in the area. Having said that we’d gone out of season so expected things to be shut and quiet. I was impressed with the spa and really enjoyed my massage, but make sure you tell the masseuse how you would prefer your massage as my friend said his was quite brutal! Was majorly impressed with the chaps on the reception one day as I had left my phone in a taxi. I was able to locate my phone on my daughter’s iPad and it was fortunately at the Taxi rank. They were able to call the taxi man and good enough within an hour and a half. The taxi driver had brought my phone back appreciated the honesty and made sure he had a good tip as well as the Taxi fair. Would’ve been nice to have some entertainment, even if it had just been a musician once or twice. Although it was out of season in the hotel lobby was packed and sometimes you struggle to get seats and had to sit in the little patisserie area. The rooms walls are paper thin and you will hear people next door so bare that in mind when booking this hotel. Also one evening we had terribly heavy rain and I was woken up at four in the morning by the generator. It sounded like the country was being invaded, it was that loud, but this was because I believe they had a power cut.
On the first day we were put to a different hotel as the rooms weren’t ready or weren’t available. This made us really stressed as this shouldnt happen when you book. We were able to check in after 3pm the next day. Because of that we good room upgrade and free wifi. The food, rooms and everything else was fine. Location is good and i would happily come back
Im jist back from a weeks holiday at the Avena . I cant thank the staff enough for what was a memorable christmas holiday . Tje hotel wad immaculate due to the grest work by the cleaners The food was amaxing a wonderful choice for all ages. I travelled with 3 gemerwtions and we all loved our break . The rooms were spacious and well equiped . . The hotel is ideally placed minutes from the beach and lots of shops round about . Its also right next door to a great sports bar. Ideal for 3 generations into there football. The receptionist were so helpful especially gettimg grsndad who had passport issues from airport to the hotel . In luxury style with there own car. The bar staff were also amazing Providing table service whenever possible . I cant wait to book into this hotel again Best compliment came from my 14 year old was "how come the people here are all so nice . Ps sorry for tsking tje baggage room key hope driver dropped it back.
Very disappointed with this hotel. The drinks tasted watered down & the food was the same thing every lunch & dinner. We stayed here in March & the food, drinks etc were so nice that’s why we booked again. Not sure why it has gone downhill like it has, it was quite busy so thought they would make more of an effort especially being so close to Christmas
We returned following the birth of my granddaughter the year before in the hotel we spent near a month trying to get my daughter and granddaughter home as we were in aware of her been pregnant. The staff made us feel safe and helped in every way possible they went above and beyond to help in every way possible and I will always be grateful for their support. We returned this December as we class them as family and as always we were not disappointed the rooms were amazing the food was beautiful the staff are always smiling and go above and beyond. We will be returning with more family to the hotel. A speaclist shout out to all the managers entertainment staff cleaners bar staff and kitchen staff. It’s a must to try the hamma and sauna which is free. Plenty of trips at good prices too. Finally a massive thank you for having a party and helping celebrate as part of our family my granddaughters birthday 😊
I went with family as I returned for my daughters first birthday after giving birth to her out here last year, the staff have been amazing from then to now, constantly checking on her and ensuring we were made to feel welcomed, the hotel is always kept clean, and the food has a little bit of something for everyone, I cannot fault my stay here and cannot wait to return ❤️
This was my first visit to Turkey and what a lovely first visit it was! Check in was efficient and friendly. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and when we got to our room we had a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit basket. The room was lovely and spacious, very clean and a good spot over looking the pool. We saw cleaners daily who were very friendly and always helpful. Free WiFi can be used in the lobby/bar area and at the beach bar. This was actually a good thing because we spent a lot less time on our phones and actually enjoyed our surroundings. You can purchase wifi in your rooms for a fee. Free beach towels are available too which is a great idea. The beach bar isn't included in the all inclusive from 1st November to March but the prices aren't bad anyway. There's use of the sunbeds free. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away from the hotel which is ideal for beach lovers like me! Food was always hot and a decent selection. The flatbreads and fresh bread were unbelievable! The nicest I've had! The dining room staff were all very pleasant and efficient at clearing plates away. The bar includes cocktails within the all inclusive which was great for me! (Shoutout to Mevlüt for the great selection of surprise cocktails!) Taxis in to the town centre were only about 300tl (about a fiver) and was definitely worth it. The harbour area's lovely. We had a brilliant holiday here and would definitely recommend it. I thought the location was a bit quiet upon arriving but it's not, there's plenty of local businesses to try. Can highly recommend Salt &Pepper for a lovely meal, we went for our anniversary (around 5 minute walk away) Lovely atmosphere and staff, reasonably priced too. Also Hane Döner where we had a chicken kebab and complimentary Turkish tea! Only 180tl (less than 3 quid) very friendly welcoming staff there too. The market is practically over the road too on a Monday, highly recommend for a bargain or two! The locals were friendly too and we felt very safe here. We look forward to returning!
4* Avena Resort and Spa in Alanya Room 3504 This was a very bright spacious airy room containing a double and single bed. Slept comfortable without any noise issues. The balcony was very large with a table/chairs overlooking the mountains and local area, great for morning coffee as the sun rises. Service The customer service was impeccable. Staff always greeted you around the hotel. Reception was very helpful, spoke good English, had time to explain any information you required. Food A massive and BIG THANK YOU to Chef Huseyin, we've send a personal letter to the Hotel Manager as you made our holiday great. Chef Huseyin's food were packed with flavour, well cooked marinated meat chunks and hefty portions too. I'm a foodie and it was the highlight of my stay. The main buffet food had a variety of choices for salads, meats, breads, drinks desserts and more despite the Christmas season. The waiters worked incredibly hard making sure all the guests were happy. They were very quick to make sure tables were always cleaned and available for guests. They worked long hours but always had a warm smile on their faces. Hotel Amenities This was a relaxing holiday for us so we didn't use the Spa/Pool or Sauna. We were a bit disappointed that there was quite a high charge to use the internet in your hotel room, for 2 days it was 8 Euros, 1 week was 15 Euros and for 2 weeks it was 20 Euros but it was only free in the lobby area. There was also a 2 Euros per day charge to use the room safe that we've never experienced before. The Rep told us that this practice was becoming more common in Turkey, so people need to factor these extra costs if on a budget. Our hotel room was very large, spacious but lacked cupboard space to hang clothes although the room was extremly clean. We also have a very big large balcony with a view of the local area with mountains in the backgrounds. Local Area The hotel is approx a 3 minute walk to bus stop, and costs 50 lira per ride (£1 UK) and the local town centre and Alanyium are quick and easy to get to. The local market was only about 10 minutes walking where you could find an array of fresh fruit & veg with plenty of clothes stalls around. Surprised how large some of the produce were such as mushrooms, cabbages, tomatoes, artichokes and various others. Prices were a lot cheaper than London and you got much more for your money. I couldn't resist a freshly made Gosleme whilst walking around. Outside the hotel there are many clothes shops and food restaurants around and the beach is 3 minutes away so you can sunbathe until your hearts content. December was a great off season time to travel for us, weather was quite warm although many Turks had heavy jackets whilst we were in T-shirts. Easy to move around as streets not packed with people or traffic. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will go back one day.
Rooms are presented well, the soundproofing… or lack of is the major disadvantage! The food WILL give you food poisoning and it is a disgraceful lack of understanding of how to thoroughly cook meat. Everyone in our party has become unwell. Staff treat you as an inconvenience if you request milk for a baby and don’t bother to acknowledge you at best. Some staff are kind and play with the children but the minority of reception/patisserie/ bar/ restaurant let this down (at least one has a terrible attitude in each area)
The service and the cleanliness was very top quality and the service by tamer checking in and checking out was very smooth and allowed our stay to heeasuer and stress free
I have to say, despite knowing it was quiet season upon booking, I felt a bit let down by the hotel, I know it was obviously November so some things weren’t on etc, but basic things like a pool heater wouldn’t go a miss. We were coming from the UK and were really looking forward to swimming. We didn’t get to all week due to the pool being cold. We found substantial dust in our room on the paintings which set off my dust allergy. We had a noise disturbance on one of our last nights when we needed to sleep, I went and told reception and they sent security up and did sort it out. As many people seem to be saying I would seriously suggest reassessing the WiFi situation. I think you should be either doing free WiFi throughout or just a flat charge per room, not per device. I’ve never had to pay that much per device anywhere. The food was okay but we were eating the same things each day. I loved the patisserie. I think that was my favourite thing about the hotel, i used it every day! Staff were friendly and nice of course, just felt a bit let down with the pool situation. We were also told by the British rep service that we could get a free taxi to and from alanya centre “for shopping” but he failed to tell us we would be forcefully made to go into a specific man’s shop who was very pushy and aggressive when we explained to him that we weren’t told we had to go to just the one shop. He was really nasty and angry when we told him we wanted to leave. It wasn’t made clear to us. We just thought it was a taxi to the centre to look around. Not sure if the BRS is anything to do with the hotel but since that’s where he met and spoke to us, we assumed so. When we returned to the hotel and tried to explain what happened to the receptionist, he seemed to find it funny. There were to female people in our group who were very intimidated by the group of men who were urging us to go into the shop.
The hotel is not a .4star rooms ok cleaner never came from Thursday till Sunday then I had to tell them the hairdryer worked for a min cut out then had to leave for 5mins then cut out again ..food average not 4star in my opinion.no entertainment no music like a morgue.in the hotel .not what it discribes..
This was just a week away to have some winter sun and for what we paid the hotel was love and the staff even better nothing was too much trouble for them The food was always hot and freshly cooked and the cleaning staff were incredible, the whole hotel was stopless outside and inside My only criticism would be that being a 4 star hotel the internet was only complementary in the lobby and payable everywhere else
Sadly there were very few positives. This is not a 4 star hotel, it’s a very mediocre 3 star. The photos of the rooms on their website are totally misleading. Our room was in C block (I think the C stands for cell) which is not in the main part of the hotel (it also doesn’t appear anywhere on the website). The room was cramped, the fixtures and fittings were cheap and nasty. The bed was rock hard and the bed linen was of very poor quality, and the pillows were tiny and flat. The walls were paper thin, so much so we could hear the very loud snoring of a man in a neighbouring room which kept us awake. Speaking to Reception was pointless, their attitude arrogant and dismissive. And for a supposed 4 star I would expect WiFi to be included but to have that service you had to pay €15 PER DEVICE extra for the week. Free WiFi was only available in the lobby. Security also came at an additional price with additional costs incurred for use of the in-room safe. Positives were the hotel was very clean, the food was ok and the location good. We could also always get a sunbed by the pool. The room aircon, once you got used to it’s quirky nature, worked well. Sadly I feel cheated by the experience at this hotel. To be so misled by the advertising of the rooms must be bordering on the illegal. I could continue about the problems we encountered but I think there’s enough here to be angry about. Think very carefully before choosing this hotel.
We had a lovely stay at the Avena Hotel! The room was nice, and the housekeeping kept it very clean. The rest of the hotel and the stay is well organized, clean and service was quick. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and the food is what you expect from it. The entertainment in the evening was a lot of fun, we had some great nights. All in all we highly recommend Avena for a relaxing holiday, we would definitely consider coming back some other year! Thank you Papel and Lorena ♥️😘😘😘
Travelled alone for 9 nights at the avena resort and Spa hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly The room was a decent size and very nice and clean. Maid came every day. Continuous free bottled water in the fridge. ( safe cost £14 extra for 9 nights) I got free Wi-Fi as I travelled with jet2. The hotel itself is very nice and very very clean. Once I saw a girl drop a straw and a member of staff walked past it and the manager called them back to pick it up that’s how clean it is. When your glass was empty the guys who continuously collected glasses would take it sometimes they would ask if you want another and bring you one. Pool was good very cold tho. Sun beds , plenty of them I never struggled to get one but there was only me Usual thing towels on beds at 7 am What was annoying was that people put towels on sun beds and never used them until later in the afternoon which wasn’t fair but that’s not the hotels fault. Entertainment was good, kids disco started at 9pm then the entertainment. But it usually finished at 10.15-10.30 but was good. Food. Food was good. What you have to remember is that your in Turkey not England but there’s a large selection and if you can’t find anything that you like out of all the trays of food then your too fussy ha ha. Breakfast was a bit repetitive but ok There’s a sandwich toaster to make toasties. The soups on the evening were lovely and you can go for soup 11-12pm on an evening. There’s a bar in the restaurant too. 10 min walk to the beach bar. Soft drinks only, alcohol you have to purchase. Overall I had a great holiday and I do recommend it.
The Avena Resort and Spa claims to be “Refined tranquility by the Mediterranean” but this was not what me and my friend experienced…. Me and my friend experienced constant and strange harassment from the hotel entertainment/staff and just noticed very unprofessional staff behind the pool bar who spent large periods of the time messing around (can’t fault the females behind the pool bar they were very professional and good.) Our best day was went we went to the private beach away from the hotel and to the spa which we can’t fault but overall I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.
We arrived here late at night and was helped to our room which was nice, The hotel is very clean from corner to corner, this we cannot fault( rooms can be cleaned everyday also) Food… well this is a different story, people say there is something for everyone, this is not the case, it was very repetitive and most of the time cold ( beach bar is the worst) I suffered with sickness and diarrhoea on the 4th day of holiday( quite a few people here did) so we decided to eat out for the duration of the holiday Staff…some gave a smile but 75% of them were so miserable especially the young girl serving ice cream in the afternoons, it’s like we were all a inconvenience, Would we come back ? No
⭐ 3.5 stars Stayed at Avena on 19/10/2025. Decent budget stay — rooms and gym are good, and entertainment was fun (especially the African acrobatics). The food really lets it down though — poor quality, no proper meals, and ice cream only served 4–5pm. Pool is freezing, but the beach is just a 5-minute walk away. Staff are mixed, Wi-Fi costs extra. Fine if you want a cheap break and aren’t fussy about food.
Hotel very clean and rooms were fine. Impossible to get a sun bed unless up by 7 to put a towel down, even though this is not allowed. Entertainment was poor although the lady was lovely. Not much kids options to eat. We were all vomiting on the last day. We only had food and drink in the hotel. Was told by 3 other families that they had been sick. Hotel staff the most unfriendly/unwelcoming staff Iv ever experienced. Turkish bath was amazing. Snack bar food at beach was beyond basic and all food was either cold or warm. Plenty of food but not much meat or fish options.
Sängyt olivat erittäin huonot. Ruoka ei kovin hyvää, vatsa meni sekaisin, vaikka käytti maitohappobakteereita eikä ottanut jäitä juomaan. Uima-allas alue ja henkilökunta olivat mukavia.
The transfer was long, but we were given a leg stretch/break half way at a small cafe. We traveled with ‘sun express’ whose app was a bit glitchy but they were on time. On arrival at hotel avena, we were given a twin room on arrival facing the road. Reception did not give us any problem when we asked to change this for a double. We were given a lovely double room on the top floor with a big balcony overlooking the pool. The mattress was hard, but comfortable. The rooms were cleaned and turned around daily if you wanted…plenty of clean towels etc. we found there was enough storage, clothes wise, for us both. The air con seemed a bit temperamental at first, but we got the knack after a while. Tv …had limited English type channels but that didn’t faze us as we didn’t really use tv. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. Plenty of staff working very hard all day long. All staff were super friendly without being false. All staff seemed content to work here. The sun lounge deck area around the pool, has the usual ‘sun bed wars’. Towels over sun beds at ridiculous hours of the morning. Everything is cleaned top to bottom around the pool area non stop. The local tattoo shop did send a staff member to tout business around the pool. He was not intrusive, he was informative and friendly. Not a pest at all and we bumped into him a few times on our strolls and enjoyed a chat. We went to the beach most mornings, which is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Be careful crossing the main road, they take no notice of zebra crossings. ‘Beach hut 33’ is the hotels designated beach hut. There is a lovely bar to sit and eat/drink. Soft drinks and snacks/food are free here but you have to pay for alcohol. Roughly £3 for a big bottle of Efes beer. The sun loungers have a nice padding on them and parasols/tables etc. the beach is also clean and well maintained. As mentioned the road can be difficult to cross, but we found an underpass direct from the beach hut, which was safer. We were not hassled by any peddlers on the beach. The waves can be strong at times and although the immediate sand is beautiful and soft, we found larger rocks within the surf as you enter the sea. There was a lifeguard there. We saw dolphins in the distance one day. We would go to the beach in the mornings and return to the hotel mid afternoon. We never failed to get sunbeds on the upper terrace which is 16+ area and had the sun on it til very late. There are well maintained toilets and showers around the pool area and the bigger slides were fun. There is a small section of pool with a railed/type fence around for small children with 2 slides too of their own. The pool was cool, the sea was warmer. The food:- never went hungry. We found the restaurant busy at times, could be noisy, and we saw other guests trying to find a table at times. Don’t expect to be able to have a conversation across the table at busy times, over the noise of plates banging and scraping, other people talking loud, to combat that noise, and kids obsessed with loud iPads to entertain them during meals. Other times we had random guests ask to sit next to us on our table. (Not sure how they cope in peak season) . The food was hot, plentiful and displayed beautifully. Lots of attention to detail. We were not disappointed with any of the food. lots to try and many choices. There was a section of counter labelled ‘diet’ which had less saucy food, and various other healthy options. Between the restaurant and the snack bar at the beach, and the snack bar at the pool, we grazed lots. Our favourite was the ‘late soup’. The choice of inclusive cocktails didn’t really do it for me. Also no slushy type drinks for those who like them. We mainly drank beer, or a refreshing shandy when it was hot. You could buy top shelf better liquor at the bar if you wanted to. Local bars did excellent cocktails and reasonably priced. The hotel was modern, pretty, lovely murals on walls. Little trees dotted around with twinkly lights at night. The hotel is very pleasing on the eye. We bought a spa package the ‘sultan’ which was absolutely lovely. The ladies who gave the massage to us in a joint room, really put effort in. There are various packages of spa treatment. We spent nearly 2 hours in treatment for 50euros each. I would absolutely recommend a spa treatment while here. We also made use of the sauna and Turkish hot room one afternoon. This is included in the hotel package for free and was very relaxing. You get fresh blue clean towels here as well, at the spa reception for the sunbeds. We saw the gym, it looked like it had brand new equipment, well spaced, and air con and changing area. There was an entertainment programme loosely put together. No real idea of what it is until late on in the day or by random. We played in a darts game one afternoon organised by the events staff. We saw a Turkish dancer one evening, and we missed African acrobats one night as we went out for my husband’s birthday that night. The bingo in the evening was dire and boring. There was a quiz night we missed on purpose, and we witnessed karaoke in the evening which was quite an amusing experience. There were certainly not enough tables and chairs to cater for all guests when the entertainment was on and it was worth seeing. We had to sit on sun loungers one night to view the ‘Turkish dancer’ . Unfortunately it rained on the last 2 days of our holiday. No entertainment of an evening due to rain as the entertainment stage was outside. The lobby was full of guests all sat round on phones like zombies, bored. We found the local shops and traders to all be friendly and polite. They expect you to barter. If you are after designer knock off handbags/clothes/trainers then you have so much choice here. If you go and just look, and don’t buy, the shop owners are still polite and don’t give you abuse when you walk away. There were no ‘Irish pubs’ or typical ‘Brit’ bars. We saw no dramas, and no stag do’s hen do’s etc. Some bars had big screen tv sports on and/or live music. We paid for an alanya city tour via the hotel rep. The tour was really good, but we found out later from other outside tourist places that we’d paid too much for this. We also went on a quad bike safari bought and arranged by a tourist info in the street. This was brilliant. There are no flies, gnats, cockroaches, wasps, rodents etc to spoil your trip here. There are however… lots of cats. Not one stray dog seen. But cats are welcomed here, they’re well looked after and clean, fed, and friendly. Most shops or bars and the avena have their regular cats. if you are allergic it could be a problem. the hotel cats help themselves to your sunbed in the sun if you aren’t around. We saw some guests encouraging the cats into the restaurant by feeding them by hand under the table. The staff frowned on this and they actually put food outside for the hotel cats. Overall we would highly recommend the Avena Spa Hotel and we would love to come back.
Hotel amazing very clean staff very friendly can’t do enough to help Great food always something for everyone’s taste will definitely be coming here again
Rooms were lovely and plenty of food and drink options friendly staff and entertainment team especially Lorena always came over and had lovely conversations with her.
The hotel is clean and tidy, with spacious rooms, delicious food, kind and polite staff that will help you. Especially Lorena who made us feel so welcomed, she came and talked to us every day to check that we are doing okay.
We are just coming home from a week stay here. The hotel is lovely and some of the staff are nice. The rooms are very clean apart from a few ants that were in our sink. The cleaners clean whenever you want them to clean. The locations is good a small hot form Alanya town but easy each in a cab, bars around the hotel and shops. Only negatives were that the entertainment team can be abit rude especially if your just with you friend on holiday. The pretend your not there while they talk to a lot of the families and people who are rude. If you’re nice they don’t want to know .Food was hit and miss , some food was good but desserts were horrible and not good if you don’t like banana. Drinks were basic, overall you get what you pay for. To get to hotel from airport it’s about 2 hours but we got a cab and it was easy.
Where to start, got there after a 15 hour journey at 2.15 am in the morning to be told the rooms not ready given a cheese sandwich and to be told I had two options I could go to another hotel for the night or I could wait 1 and half hours for house keeping to get the room ready chose the second option asked if there was any chance of getting a coffee I was told if I went over the road to migros I could buy sachets and they could provide me with hot water to make the coffee, they did give us free WiFi and let us keep the room until 4pm on last day to be fair. Got up in the morning couldn’t get a sun lounger went to the beach to get one 5 minutes walk away plenty of loungers but got to pay for alcoholic drinks, 2nd day woke up early so managed to get a sun bed round the pool it was like this for the rest of the fortnight all sun beds taken really early they are all reserved by towels the hotel say this is not allowed but it is not monitored at all saw a family of four sharing 2 sun beds whilst we had 2 next to us with towels on that weren’t used for 7 hours. food hit and miss absolutely never had a hot meal just warm all the time nothing for kids to eat even though we didn’t have children with us but felt sorry for them make sure they fill up at the snack bar during the day, at 10 0 clock every morning they play a cd of cockerel and the sound of someone snoring followed by water aerobics then the line broke the monkey Got choked and we all went to heaven in a little rowing boat clap clap clap clap night time entertainment worst I’ve ever seen in 39 years of going abroad kids disco starts at 9 pm way to late hence the fact there was only 2 kids dancing with the lady from the animation team and I didn’t know that I like to move it move it by real 2 real was a kids song it was a dance tune from 1993 after the mini disco it’s either bingo karaoke Or you can do the beach party where you can pay 19 euros each go to the beach were you get a free shot and again pay for your drinks all night proper family friendly worst of all is the miss Avena night oh my god 4 poor women out of a crowd of about 30 people placed on chairs on the stage had to dance sexy round their chairs whilst the animation guy sprinkled paper over their heads then they had to place a boiled egg between their legs and walk making a noise of a sad chicken and a happy chicken then a crazy chicken after that 2 toilet rolls were placed in front of the ladies then their partners were called up to wrap the toilet paper round them and the best mummy won a bottle of wine once the entertainment if that’s what you call it is finished usually about 10.15 to 10.30 there’s a lady in a shed next to the stage playing the same low key cd every night the place is empty even though the hotel is full but she keeps the lights flashing off the stage that shine into your room till she knocks them off at 11.30 pm also ice creams available for an hour a day between 4 & 5 do kids not deserve an ice when ever they want want like every other all inclusive I’ve been to before save the massive queues, hotel spotless fantastic location staff friendly house keeping lady lovely I was on 2 nd floor block c please thank her from me ps please watch your entertainment programme in the evenings it wants totally scrapping and starting from scratch if you want I can send photos and videos to verify my comments. I would never return to this hotel or Alanya it just wasn’t for us unfortunately.
The Avena resort & Spa is where me and my friend stayed for a relaxing girls get away in Turkey the hotel is very clean and the staff and entertainment is good fun. We went all inclusive and the food and drinks options are very good, there’s always something for everyone. I would definitely come back again.
Me and my partner stayed here for 7 nights in September, here are the key points that I found during our stay. Room - We were put into a family room with a balcony which had a nice view so cannot complain there. The room itself was well equipped however we found the shower to be very temperamental with the temperature not being consistent constantly going too hot or too cold. The aircon unit in the room was also very temperamental and only seemed to work when it felt like it. Staff - We cannot fault the staff here they were all very nice people and hard workers, there was not one point when we felt unwelcome so 5 stars for staff. Food/Restaurant - The food changed slightly everyday, there was a decent selection but of very average quality and not everything had a sign to say what it was so someone with allergies may find it hard. The restaurant was way too small for the amount of rooms. On 2 occasions we had to abandon plans for dinner and go elsewhere simply because there is not enough seating for everyone. Pool - The pool area is very small with limited sun beds, despite it saying all over the place that reserving sun beds is not allowed we were never able to get one. Whilst eating breakfast at 8am they were all already taken with towels covering them but no one using it. There is a pool bar and snack bar available, although I cannot comment on these as we never used them. Beach - The hotel has a private beach and beach bar with food available to all guests, we spent most of our days here and it was lovely, never struggled to find a free bed there was always a few. Upon checking out we put our luggage into the storage room provided, however similar to the restaurant situation the room is simply not big enough and it looked like a bomb had gone off in there absolute chaos, the room was the size of a large bathroom. We have decided that we would not stay here again in the future as we were overall quite disappointed with our stay. The location is great, striking distance to the beach and hundreds of shops and restaurants. I would give this hotel a low 3 star rating.
Spent a week at the Avena Resort & Spa, first of all the weather was fantastic, the food and drinks were really nice, the animation team had us going out with them on a few nights which was really fun! Got on really well with the animation team especially the guy called Can l!! Would definitely recommend the hotel and we will be coming back 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Stayed at the hotel for a week. The room was spacious and good size, the bed was very comfy. The room was cleaned daily and was done to a perfect standard. The weather was amazing, the food and drinks including all the cocktails were fantastic! The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing. The entertainment really made the who experience there were outstanding. A huge thank you to Can who made our whole experience from taking us to two amazing clubs and also a beach party💃🏼 Would definetly recommend!❤️
Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 13 nights.from start to finish it was just perfect the rooms are a good size bed and pillows comfortable.good aircon in your room. Food was delicious so much choice hotel spotless all the time great location plenty of shops and bars short walk to the beech a good size market on a Monday just out side the hotel we will definitely be coming back next year😀
Arrived on the 12 th SEPT after a long 3 HR transfer from Antalya airport, checked in and happy with our room ..two of us in a family room, facilities are ok ..the hotel is spotless can't fault it clean rooms and towels everyday,we made use of the sauna and steam room which is free before showering then going to the beach which is a short walk from the hotel . absolutely beautiful .we preferred this than the pool area which is overcrowded. The WiFi is not free in your room. However it is in the lobby downstairs. As per all inclusive the food is so so .... We went on a city tour around alanya upto the castle via a cable car great views .over the sea we took some great photos x Then onto the view point of Alanya ... beautiful ❤️ The marina is accessible by public transport 40 lira one way ..the bus stop is .just a short walk round the corner from the hotel on the boulevard lots to see and do ...we went up the red tower and explored the shipyard which we enjoyed very much .. There are lots to see and do here and we will explore more next time we come back ❤️❤️we loved it here it met more than our expectations X 😍
i like the hotel, and i like the entertainment team. the atmosphere is great, and games are very good.every night we have some event and was never boring
A fantastic hotel ! Would recommend!! I like to write an honest review to help others thinking of booking this hotel The hotel is a 2+ hour drive from Antalya airport. The hotel is well positioned in a busy tourist area with bars and restaurants. The check in was straightforward, unfortunately we arrived after dinner service and there wasn't any provision for us except the very late night soup service . However we ventured a few doors down and got some food there on the first night . The room was spotless. The beds were very comfy indeed and a great size. Our room's balcony looked out onto the pool . This got the sun in the morning but then was in the shade the rest of the day. Music goes on til 10:30 pm every night , so if you have light sleepers , this may be a problem. Luckily our children are heavy sleepers so it wasn't a problem for us. The sun lounger situation is one of my only criticisms. They have signs everywhere saying not to reserve sun loungers, but people are out before 7.30am putting towels out and by 9am you can't get one. Most of them are left unattended for most of the day. Better enforcement of this would make the place more enjoyable. There is a 16+ only sun lounge which seemed to have loungers available. The pool is a lovely temperature and has two flumes. There is a shallow pool with 2 slides. My kids LOVED the pool and we couldn't get them out of it. The lifeguards spend most of the day on their mobile phones, so you need to carefully watch your own children because the lifeguards surely aren't. The entertainment team do aqua aerobics and pool polo in the day and then the mini disco and introduce the evening entertainment. I wasn't made aware of any other activities they were putting on (particularly for children). If they were do more, it's not advertised anywhere. The evening shows were sensational. They had an acrobat show and a tennure show! Wow There is an on site Dr which puts your mind at rest. There is a Turkish spa on site and gym . The spa is good value at €40 for 90+ min session. The ladies in the spa were lovely, but there wasn't clear explanation of what it entailed (not a language barrier, just no communication). I entered the Turkish spa and there was a gentleman lying down having treatment. The spa worker proceeded to pull my swim top down , exposing my breasts and stomach. After I pulled it back up , she fetched a robe to cover me. Once the gentleman left, she pulled it down again exposing my breasts. The room has a see through door and there are other customers in there. I acknowledge this may be an authentic experience, but better explanation is needed as i didn't enjoy this part at all, having had my breasts exposed to the room. The massage itself was excellent. The food was delicious! They do not cater for the British. There is no "full English " or pizza and nuggets here! So if you are a fussy eater , you may struggle. Luckily we all like veggies and lots of salad so we loved the food. The restaurant is open for long periods in the day and there is an outdoor snack bar with beef burgers and fries serving from 11-4 If you get to the restaurant at the start of service you will have much more to choose from than if you get there later. They put it all out at the beginning, and don't come back and restock the puddings etc . So once the good ones are gone, they're gone. There is a patisserie on site serving cakes all day. The all inclusive is good- a nice list of cocktails , soft drinks and beer. They only serve ice cream between 4-5 poolside The cleanliness is brilliant. The floor is shining clean and they take great pride in keeping it spotless. Cannot fault the cleaners! The staff are friendly and were always helpful and attentive. There is a beach section with it's own restaurant and sun loungers. This is a perfect alternative to lying by the pool(or inability to lie beside the pool as there aren't any sun loungers!) I have mentioned all the good and the criticisms. The criticisms are very minor for us - but if you are a fussy eater, light sleeper, sun bather.... They would be more significant for you. If a friend asked me how my holiday at Avena was - I would say it was AMAZING and I'd go back (and re book) in a heartbeat. 5* from us.
Just home from a week in this hotel. Very clean, always staff going around cleaning etc and rooms were done everyday. That’s about the only positive I can say. The all inclusive food is the exact same every breakfast, lunch and dinner time. Sometimes the soup changes but that’s about it. Entertainment team throughout the day is literally non existent, sometimes there’s water polo. Nighttime entertainment is even worse, tiny area and not enough tables and chairs. The all inclusive alcohol is horrendous 🤢 it’s a 2.5 hour journey from the airport in a private transfer and definitely not worth it. If you’re up before 5am to put towels on a sunbed to reserve you’ll be fine. Any time after that, you’ll be lucky Very little for children to do, no entertainment / kids team to do activities etc. 2 very small water slides
Spent 13 nights at Avena with my gf and daughter and honestly, the experience was great. The hotel is absolutely spotless, the facilities are modern and well maintained. You'll be bombarded with food from morning till midnight. Pros: - The Spa was great, we can use the sauna and steam room free of charge and the paid stuff is reasonably priced, Bunyamin the Spa boss was really helpful. - The gym was the best hotel gym I've seen so far, believe me on this one as my arm is probably bigger than the legs of most who going to read this review. If you into running, there's a cycle/ pedestrian lane alongside the beach, ideal for a 5k. - The swimming pool is warm and the slides are great fun. - Ozan the travel agent was super friendly and helpful and has a great selection of trips (paid extra). We picked the Pirate Ship and the Water falls, both were awesome. There's more edgy stuff like a buggy/ quad bike trip and a firing rang. - Food is good and as a vegetarian, I always had something to eat (except on Turkish night on Wednesday if I'm not mistaken, meat with meat, meat everywhere). - There are loads of shops and restaurants in the area - After checking out at 1200, the reception kept our bags and we could use the facilities till the transfer arrived. Cons - Beds are on the hard side - The idea of paying for the WIFI to have internet everywhere (free at the lobby) is absolutely ridiculous. - The playlists. Same music for the all the entertainment activities, played in loop, I was about to kill myself Alanya is about 3h from Antalya Airport, Id recommend getting a private transfer from booking.com to get to the hotel and from the travel agent Ozan to get to the airport. If you share the transfer with the peasants, you'll take 5h instead of 3h, it's definitely worth paying the difference, even if your package includes transfer, do yourself a favour and decline it. The whole experience was great, an amazing place for a family holiday and I had an amazing time. Yes, you'll read some reviews whining but people whine cause the sky is blue and the sun is warm. I honestly think I'll stay there again.
Too less sunbeds and not available because people leave their towels. Why hotel management allow this? Swimming pools are quite small. Room is clean. Buffet ok. Air conditioner is very noicy. Stars 3/5 is better rating for the hotel. Timetable for dinner is quite short
The hotel was okay but, the Arzu Lorena form the Entertainment team was good she looked after the children well, she was very good service the children were very safe with her
Fantastic Hotel, Very Clean & Superbly Maintained. Situated In A Good Location For The Beach With Lots Of Shops & Restaurants Nearby. Friendly Staff & Hard Working Animation Team. They Work Tirelessly To Provide Entertainment In & Around The Pool, Running The Kids Club And The Night Time Shows. Special Mention To ‘Arzu’ Who Our Little Boy Took A Huge Liking Too! Again Beautiful Holiday Would Definitely Recommend & Rebook.
Hard mattress and pillow, lights didn't work in my room, batteries not working in remote controls, terrible customer services
Went for 10 nights on the 15th of July , hotel was excellent , very friendly staff and entertainment staff were amazing . Could not do enough for you , hotel very clean and plenty of choice for food . Had a great time and would highly recommend would definitely stay again
I can't rate Avena Resort high enough. From the moment we arrived we have been treated so well. The staff can't do enough for you, the resort is spotless, the food is fantastic and there are so many activities to do! Would highly recommend to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will definitely be back 🇹🇷☀️
Animation team members Arzu, Lorena and Can were very passionate in organisation kids activities. Activities are very quality and I can fully recommended this team and hotel as well. Kitchen is also very rich and taste and staff are very kind
The Worst Holiday I've Ever Had – DO NOT RECOMMEND This was a completely disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was extremely poor, and what is advertised in the photos or hotel description is nothing like the reality. The hotel is very poorly organized. You have to wake up at 7 a.m. to get a sunbed — otherwise, you won’t find a place to sit. There is no respect for guests, and rules seem to be made up on the spot. My daughter made a drawing on a piece of paper at the hotel playground, and we were told we had to pay if we wanted to take it with us. The food is repetitive and low quality. They show images of sushi, fish, and an international buffet in their ads, but in reality, it's just the same Turkish buffet every day. My daughter ate only French fries for 7 days straight because there was no dedicated children’s menu. The fruits at the pool bar are warm and soggy due to the lack of an outdoor fridge. The juices are awful, made from cheap syrup, and the ice cream is limited to two flavors that run out quickly. Most of the staff are rude and unhelpful. When I asked for an iced coffee, I was rudely told they don’t have it — and if I know how to make it, I should do it myself. The only two employees who were kind and helpful were Kristina and Melis — ironically, they weren’t even locals. Cleanliness and safety were also an issue. While we were briefly swimming at the beach, someone stole our flip-flops, including my child’s. We had to walk back barefoot. At the restaurant, there are not enough tables for everyone, and you constantly have to wait for a table to become available. Breakfast cannot be taken to your room unless you pay extra. Children’s activities are very limited and repetitive, the same dances every night, even though the description says there are different daily activities. Overall, this is a place where, once they’ve taken your money, you no longer matter. There is zero customer care, and the standards are far too low for the price paid. Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about this holiday, apart from the two helpful receptionists. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone.
Not family friendly and disappointing experience overall We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations—especially for families with small children. While advertised as family-friendly, that wasn’t our experience at all. Firstly, there are no facilities for sterilising baby bottles, no microwave or dedicated baby washing area, unlike other hotels we’ve stayed in. This made caring for our baby unnecessarily difficult. Secondly, loud music plays every night until 11 PM, and it’s clearly audible in the rooms. If you’re hoping to get your children to sleep at a decent time, good luck. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly upgraded to a family room, which we appreciated—until two days later when a rude receptionist called and demanded we move rooms because we had originally booked a standard room. The way it was handled was incredibly unprofessional; he insisted, didn’t like that I refused, and even wrote things down as if I didn’t understand English. I still refused to move, but the experience left a very bad taste. Then there’s the issue with sun loungers. The hotel claims that reserving loungers is not allowed, yet by 8 AM they are all “taken” with towels and barely any available for the rest of the guests. Worse, I left mine briefly to check on my sleeping in the room child and partner, and when I returned, they had given my lounger away. No apology, very unhelpful, telling me that I shouldn’t reserve with towels my sun loungers… I left for 15min!!! The pool is far too small for the number of guests—it’s overcrowded and doesn’t offer a relaxing swim. At peak times, it felt like being shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers. On a positive note, the hotel is very clean, the food is excellent, and the staff in the restaurant and on the beach were lovely and very helpful. The beach bar and beach facilities are excellent—clean changing rooms, showers, and plenty of space.
Enjoyed the stay here, good clean hotel with nice staff!!!! Entertainment team was nice people with fun activities !!!
We went for a romantic trip on valentine's day. 13th until the 18th of February. We couldn't be more disappointed. Maybe because it was "low season" but dear God, this hotel put me off completely. Positive points: Is very clean, the staff is okay but don't speak much English. Negative points: 1. THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE. Is always the same food, and if you don't eat it for lunch, yes you guessed it, you will have it for dinner. And if that's not enough believe me you will have it for breakfast the next day. By day 2 we ended up eating out every meal. The food was blant. No seasoning, no flavour. And very "normal" food. I was expecting traditional food. No, you have rice, burgers, meatballs, white fish, pasta, bread. Horrible. 2. NO ENTERTAINMENT AT ALL. Not much more I can say about it. 3. Being valentines day I was expecting they would do something to celebrate it. But no, the only thing was a couple of paper decoration on top of the buffet and that's it. 4. The drinks were nothing special. Stopped serving at 11pm. 5. You have to pay for internet in the room. Even if you have the all inclusive. 6. It's a extremely BORING hotel. There's a small pool, maybe enough for 25 people and that's it. 7. BE CAREFULL of the guy that asks you to take you to a night out. He charges you 10£ per person as saying is for the place entry. THE ENTRY IS FREE, and it's only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The place is boring, it's a karaoke place and all local people stare at you making you extremely uncomfortable. If you can stay somewhere else, please do. This is not worth any money.
The food and entertainment were really great. The staff were great and were super kind and helpful. I had a great time and would highly reccomend.
The overall vibe of this place was brilliant. Had good choice of drinks and food and the place was spotless. Very clean. Rooms were big and spacious and the balcony was lovely. Right in the centre of the town and so much to do. Would really recommend.
We got moved to this hotel after being unhappy and was extremely happy here food was great good staff lovely atmosphere !
The hotel was lovely. Super clean and modern, food and entertainment was great. I really enjoyed Zumba in the pool. The hotel staff were really helpful couldn’t have asked for a better trip!
Just got back from a week stay - solo trip Pros: Clean- housekeeping/maintenance do a wonderful job to keep hotel (communal & bedrooms clean & tidy) Food - always find something to eat, does get a little repetitive at times but find me an all inclusive that doesn’t! Salads were my fav Entertainment team- very active, friendly, evening shows were enjoyable Cons: Dessert - bland, no descriptions Ice cream- daily 4pm-5pm: this definitely needs to be expanded Iron- seriously! Do not come with creased clothes ive never been to a hotel where there is not an iron in a room or one you could borrow. Only option was paid laundry service……. Private beach- only soft drinks available, had to pay extra for alcohol (even with all inclusive) Overall decent stay, use of Spa & additional treatments were great. Good location - plenty shops/restaurants around. Private Beach within 5min walk
We spent a week all inclusive at this hotel, paid £600 per person including flights so really wasn’t expecting much from the hotel. However we were pleasantly surprised, really couldn’t fault it for the price we paid. The hotel was very clean, staff constantly going around cleaning tables in restaurant and around the pool, room was also cleaned every day with fresh towels and water was left in room daily. The pool area is lovely and pool clean, there is always sunbeds available, we spent most of our time on the beach, the beach is a short walk away and the beach bar is great, the snack bar at the beach was so handy and again there was constantly staff going around cleaning tables etc. The food was average, what you would expect from all inclusive. The breakfast and lunch was good, dinner was limited for choice but there was always something we liked. We did end up eating out the last few nights as we enjoyed it more, but we definitely could have ate in the hotel. The pool / lobby bar is great, lots of cocktails included with all inclusive and you can pay extra for imported spirits. The spa at the hotel was amazing, would recommend everyone to go!! We went for 2 hour treatment which included sauna, steam room, Turkish bath, 45 minutes massage and facial / face mask then champagne and fruit afterwards, this was only €35. Would recommend this on the first day of your holiday, we went towards the end and wished we had gone sooner. Overall really can’t fault this hotel, would recommend and would return again.
Food was unbelievable! The entertainment team were great and had something for everyone to enjoy. Staff were all lovely and welcoming, would really recommend staying here! Thank you to Rocky, Pikachu and Lorena for making our stay extra special.
A few of me and my friends (in our 20s) did not know what to expect from this location and holiday. I personally had never experienced an all-inclusive before, or been to turkey. However, the avena hotel itself is in a fantastic location, near lots of shops, bars (with amazing food) and cafes and the beach. Within the hotel, the cleanliness was fantastic: room service every day, staff constantly visible, and they were all lovely!! We booked excursions through the hotel too which assured us that our safety was cared for. On the first night, the entertainment team took us to a club - transfer from the hotel there and back. What I especially appreciated as a young woman was that they stayed with us the whole time. As a group of young women in a foreign country we felt incredibly safe. Apart of this team was Lorena, who would sit with us and greet us every day and have a conversation with us too. She was absolutely incredible !! But all the staff within the hotel were absolutely amazing. We loved this holiday so much. We would definitely come again.
This is a really nice hotel in Oba. Food, staff and amenities are all good. If you plan to stay here and need internet then you need to either buy tourist sim or upgrade to their payed wifi. Free wifi does exist but it is unusable.
We arrived at Avena Resort & Spa for our first trip to Turkey, and from the get-go, it was a hit. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and always on hand with a smile. Everyone, from the receptionists to the bar team, made us feel genuinely welcome. The whole place was immaculately clean, thanks to cleaners who never missed a beat—our room was refreshed daily, and public areas sparkled . We also took full advantage of the Thai spa and indulged in a dreamy bubble scrub that left us feeling pampered and relaxed. The buffet food had seriously impressive variety— Turkish dishes, international favorites, fresh salads, and desserts galore. Like many reviewers, we loved the rotating menu and delicious late-night soup . Now, a cheeky little note... the alcohol was a bit light—you might find your cocktails not quite packing a punch, though a generous tip quickened their step 😉. Still, the drinks were bright and tasty, even if slightly shy on strength . The entertainment scene was lively—days filled with pool games, slides, and evenings with dancing and music. It did mean the music ran late into the night (sometimes past 11pm), which took a bit of adjustment—but we kind of enjoyed the vibrancy and didn't mind too much . Bonus pros we loved from other guests: Spa and wellness facilities included a hammam, sauna, gym, and beach bar just a few minutes’ walk away. Entertainment team kept things fun with quizzes, darts, Turkish nights—great for families and adults alike. Location was excellent: a comfy stroll to the beach, shops, and local bazaar —and free sunbeds on the hotel’s beach strip. In Short: Avena Resort & Spa Hotel offers a stellar mix of warm hospitality, spotless upkeep, tasty and varied buffet meals, and relaxing spa treats. Sure, the late-night music might keep you on your toes, and if you're chasing a strong cocktail, you may need a top-up—but those are tiny caveats on what was otherwise a fantastic holiday base. Would we return? Absolutely. Thank you, Avena team, for making our maiden Turkey adventure truly memorable! 🇹🇷✨
Arrived in the morning, reception staff welcomed us, were very kind and informative. Got to our room and it was all prepared, air con on, beds made and room tidy. In the morning there were plenty of options for breakfast, plenty of sun beds so are almost guaranteed a spot. Big pool, kids pool and slides for children. During the day there is a snack bar which has plenty of variety. The entertainment during the day is always fun (water polo, inflatable obstacle course, crazy darts, water aerobics). Plenty of options for food on the night, cannot complain. Finally, the entertainment on the night is amazing, mini disco for the children from 9’oclock and 10-11:30 there is stuff like acrobatics, dancers etc. all round a really good hotel and I would 100% recommend.
The experience was good overall. The hotel was a bit smaller than I originally thought. The restaurant was smaller, less choices but very clean . Front desk very nice and spoke English well enough. Overall it was good.
We arrived quite late , check in was good and we were allocated a room with a street view. Just in time to get some drinks before the bar closed at 11.30 We then went to the restaurant which was open for “ midnight soup” which is exactly what we got there was some bread as well but no butter. Anyway tired out we went to bed only to be woken by a dog barking at a property across the street, this went on for quite a long time .. we mentioned it to reception, this went on and off for the next 2 nights then thanks to Melis a pool view room became available 2318 so we moved to that , it was a lovely room and same as the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean There was absolutely no entertainment on at all , people were just bored sitting around in the evenings on there phones / tablets kids were running around shouting and screaming some were even playing football in the lobby area while some of the adults were just getting as much all inclusive drinks down them as they could and got louder as they were doing it ! The noise then continued into the pool area until the early hours, some were taking alcohol back to their rooms and partying on .. the latest was 5am .. reception were alerted and although the hotel has security guards 24 hour nothing was done. We were Disappointed by this . Free WiFi is only available in the lobby If you want WiFi in your room you have to pay extra … The food was not bad , we always found something tasty , the restaurant staff were lovely to us always happy to help as they were in the coffee shop. This is a city hotel so some noise is inevitable but the noise even with ear plugs from the lobby and pool area after midnight was just too much for us .. The beach bar drinks weren’t included in the all inclusive between October 31st and 1st April Lovely Beach and seafront walk and the weather was sunny
Ok good things first food ok staff nice As food in 2weeks had lamb neck once and berf heart once the res is chicken turkey or turkey chicken fish a la plancha No animatiln at all its so boring u can die the alcool its for fire ligth purposes only undrikable beer is cold no gas but drikable tuborg like swiming pool not clean water last check 08/2024 the water stinks nothing to do here and u have to pay for beach bar new rules please dont come here make yourself a favor
I booked four weeks away on an Easy Jet holiday First of all, flying into Antalya, the transfer time is long- typically 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the number of stops along the way to drop off or pick up. Once there, the hotel was good and I was given a room overlooking the pool area - all rooms have balconies either overlooking the pool or the street - this is a hotel away from the beach but only a five minute walk. This was a winter stay - and it was their first year of opening in the winter - but staff were lovely and helpful at every level - but few speak English well, but German and Russian are clearly used more often. On the negative side - there was no entertainment in the evenings - but that was Ok because I sat and chatted with other guests. The spa is excellent - with a range of offerings - sauna, steam room, Hammam and massages - all were terrific. There is a well-equipped Gym for those who want to keep fit The restaurant offered a big range of hot and cold foods three times a day for breakfast, lunch and dinner - with fresh-cooked food at a grill station and a pizza oven Beer and wine etc served from a bar in the restaurant plus two coffee/chocolate machines and a Turkish Tea station Only small complaint was that the deserts were typically cakes although there was plenty of fresh fruit - Plums, Apples, Pears, Bananas, sliced grapefruit and sliced oranges and tangerines too The patisserie served excellent cakes and biscuits all day too - and the bar was open from 10 am until midnight at 23;00 the restaurant served a choice of soup and lovely bread. Weaknesses? One weak was half term week so uncontrolled screaming kids charging around until late at night - whereas maybe having a 22;00 curfew for kids would have been good - also perhaps having an adults only eating area in the restaurant because not all parents care to control their kids and having them running up and down between the tables is not good I told two kids to stop running in case they banged into my table - and that only led to an argument with the mother who, up until then, had done nothing to stop them! Hotel management were on hand to speak to the woman and after that the kids didn't run round again But that is the price you pay for being in a family hotel where some parents are just not the best Finally, this hotel is cycle friendly and I think one of the owners is involved in the Turkish Cycling Association - and so there were lots of cyclists staying there and taking part in events.
A lovely hotel, Nice room, spotlessly clean. Unfortunately we were on the side that didn't get the sun. The staff are great, always helpful and professional. The food was good , always plenty of choice, the soup at supper was a nice touch. There's a great pool, and the Hamam is the best we've ever had. All in all a very nice stay and we will probably return next February.
We went to this hotel with very high expectations due to the great reviews on here The bad parts first We had no tv channels at all which we told the rep about he said he would get it sorted which he didn’t, our room lock was broken and we struggled to get in our room the maintenance guy had to change the lock then I accidentally wiped the key so it stopped working when I mentioned this at reception I was told off because I should have known. No entertainment at all. Then we were told it was summer only. The bar was occasionally late in opening. Our room had no heating The hotel staff seriously prefer cyclists as they were given extra rights being another entrance exit to hotel grounds. I tried using the other and was told off. Now the good The rooms were very clean and spacious as was the rest of the hotel. Most of the staff very helpful and friendly. The food was among the best I have had in all inclusive The drinks were very nice indeed. The free WiFi in the lobby was not too bad although very slow And the location was good.

Very clean staffed very helpful will stay again
Very good clean hotel very helpful and friendly staff x
A men working on reception is very slow and rude . He fill all foam from us . There is no Wi-Fi in the room
Amazing, room are bigger and comfortable. Staff also professional and very friendly.
very noise as in all Turkey hotel. But very good room and reception service. All inclusive food and drink it is not for everyone - the best way to eat and drink - restaurants near the hotel in the city center
Booked an economy room as advertised on Expedia and was quite disappointed when actually taken to the room on arrival - it looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia. The room décor was dated, holes in bedding, dirty curtains etc. The cleaning ladies were doing a great job but the room itself was far from what I expected. Hotel staff in general very helpful. Pool area was nice as well as the beach. Food - as expected in an all inclusive hotel of this category was not great, but there was always something to eat. The whole thing is geared towards Russians which make up about 85% of the guests. The animation team was fantastic - they did try to talk and engage with everyone, and even though the evening entertainment wasn't anything special they did work hard to make sure you're having fun.
Everything was good apart from room: it was noisy, you could hear people next door clearly. Also avoid booking room marked as economy, they are situated in noisy areas: Main Street, pool area etc.
