The only thing we didn't like was having to leave....!

I’ve been to seven oaks twice now and the experience was amazing both times and there’s nothing bad to say. If I could improve on something it would perhaps be the shower head in the shower. But other than that is was an amazing experience as it always is.

Loved the peaceful atmosphere and the Turkish Bath was lovely! Also the sun on the stoep is very nice.

Everything. The two cottages we rented (Shiraz and Pinotage) are very different from each other, both with quirky furnishings and character. The indoor fire / braai was a winner as it the weather was not conducive to an outside braai. The Seven Oaks wine is superb. We bought quite a few cases to enjoy in the coming weeks.

The turkish bath at Shiraz takes extremely long to heat up. As a result we never got to use it.

Beautiful farm with dirt roads for the kids to happily ride their bikes on. Great attention to detail at the house, with welcome snacks and drinks, beautiful bathroom with ribbon-wrapped towels. The bath was big and relaxing! The heaters helped a lot to take off the winter chill. The kids loved the quirky decor. Jacqui was helpful, responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful spot, in a lovely part of the world. The cottages are very well thought out, and have provided nearly everything you can think of. Hot-tub is very nice but you have to manage it carefully. Wifi was surprisingly good considering we're out in the middle of the country. Also, we called over the the wine tasting section and enjoyed their wines, really good and we bought a couple. Try their MCC! In general, great spot for families, and especially if you intend to stay and use the property to its full potential.

Honestly, I don't really have a bad thing to say. Only thing worth mentioning on the property is that the photos oversold the view a bit, behind the cottage there's just a hedge, but you can see the mountains behind. Also, we made this a winter trip and some friendly advice, come prepared with all your braai materials, there's nothing open at night time. Most farms close at 3pm, and during winter there's flooding and road closures which makes it harder to get about. Worth noting - but that's Wolseley in general, the property itself is amazing!

Beautiful setting in vineyards, clean and cozy, everything you need and more! Friendly people and very accommodating. Wine tasting on the farm..no need to drive. Perfect in all aspects.

There was nothing not to like about this place. We arrived quite late and were welcomed by the preheated Turkish bath, a bottle of wine and the best biscuits. We felt like we were at home, they had everything you could need. Can't wait to visit again.

We had the most wonderful and peaceful weekend. To wake up with nature's sounds, birds, frogs, chickens, was the best. I am a country girl, so for us, it was just everything we hope for. Willem went out of his way to assist where needed. With a smile, I must add. Highly recommended 👌.

We loved our stay at Seven Oaks Vineyard Cottages! My husband and I stayed in the Pinotage cottage and we were especially impressed by the thoughtfulness of the details and 'small touches': delicious crunchies in a jar for us to enjoy, a complimentary bottle of wine, hot water bottles to keep warm, wood to get us started with some fires, toiletries in the bathroom, and the Turkish Bath was filled AND heated for us to enjoy as soon as we arrived. The cottage was very neat and clean and we felt very warmly welcomed! The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and we appreciated the privacy of the space as well. We had family staying in some of the other cottages and we especially loved the Shiraz cottage - the outside space with the patio, bonfire pit and Turkish bath, lend itself to relaxing and socialising while soaking in the incredible views - just stunning!

Such a beautiful area and very homely yet classy cottages. We didn't want for anything, from the firepit to the turkish bath this place was exquisite. We laughed, braai-ed and explored the surrounding area. Thanks for having us!

Pillows a bit high on bed (we should bring our own as you are used to that) and only one bathroom which we didn't realise we weren't used too.

Beautiful cottage. Well managed by Jacqui. She is very helpful. Communication is great. Very clean. You have all you need for a peaceful stay.

Lovely setting, staff were super friendly, the location was absolutely stunning. The cottage was very peaceful and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The hosts even kindly warmed up the hot tub before our arrival!

We had such a lovely stay here. The peaceful, middle-of-nowhere vibe was exactly what we were after and made it so easy to switch off. The Turkish bath was amazing and definitely a highlight. We also really enjoyed the wine and our walk through the gorgeous farm. Already can’t wait to come back in the colder months. Thank you to the Seven Oaks team, you're excellent!

Such a lovely cottage, everything was so well thought out. All extra touches were much appreciated especially the wine and cookies. There was everything there to tide you over when you got there.

Spent a weekend celebrating my husband's birthday in this wonderful, heaven on earth, farm. So much detail put into this cottage. We spent a lot of time in the turkish bath, cooling down during the day, taking in the mountain views, and stargazing at night. The host, Jacqui is very welcoming and popped by for a quick meet and greet. A perfect weekend in a perfect place. Will be back for sure!

Seven Oaks is set in beautiful surroundings and very private. There are 4 cottages in a row but well positioned for privacy. Everything was exceptional clean and the bed very comfortable. It had everything we need for a three night stay. Jacqui was very pleasant and helpful with local recommendations and the free wine tasting was good. We also paid for the MCC which was lovely. Many thanks and can fully recommend staying in this accommodation.

I had forgotten it didn’t have a TV which for some people is a real plus. We did have a laptop so were able to stream some films to watch in the evening!

The cottages are cozy and the kitchen is well-equipped. Jacqui really thinks of everything one might need.

Seven Oaks was a wonderful stay. The attention to detail made the experience feel truly special. The Turkish bath with the mountain views and the full moon rising behind them was absolutely breathtaking. Jacqui was fantastic and incredibly helpful, and we were genuinely disappointed that we had only booked one night. A really great stay and highly recommended

We visited on New Year’s Day, so the tasting room was unfortunately closed, which is completely understandable. We did stop by again the next day, and it really does look like a great experience. The staff were super friendly and gave us even more motivation to return

Beautiful views, quiet peaceful location, the accommodation was well equipped and its evident that a lot of thought was given into the needs of the guests. Our hostess was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

This is sort of place you want to return to time and time again. The cottages are set among the wine grows surrounded by spectacular mountains. The furnishings are comfortable and of quality, everything works, the rooms are spacious and every details has been carefully considered. Beautiful flowers and exotic plants line up the walkways and we loved relaxing and listening to the birds on our own private patio. Jacqui and Patrick are most hospitable and friendliest hosts and their wines are truly superb. We recommend trying them all! :) Our best farm stay so far!

Everything was more than we expected. From the start, our friendly, helpful host kept in touch and paid a visit to ensure all was well. It had the decor and feel of the wine farm & country surroundings. a great deal of thought had gone into the comfortable accommodation and we had so much space to relax and unwind. House-keeping was excellent. The gardens were well tended and set the scene for peace.... The wine tasting was fun and our hostess there was both competent and welcoming. __ we realised in hind-sight that we should have extended our stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect. From advising location, keys, met with farm manager on arrival to make sure we were all ok. The hot tub had been lit for us, that was a huge bonus as we go away often and the hot tub is a pain to light a wait until it is warm, so we were able to relax from the beginning which is what we went there for. They offer wine tasting of their wine to the guests staying, that is incredibly kind, we are not big wine drinkers so it would have been wasted on us, but that it was available is very generous. We will be back with bells on our toes, that is for sure

The cottage was private, with an indoor and outdoor braai. Fortunately we had good weather so could enjoy the outdoor braai and hot tub each day! Our stay included a free wine tasting and free bottle of wine. If you do the wine tasting, also try the theatre of aromas. It was so much fun!

The accommodation, setting, views, taste room, and owners friendly correspondence, from the get go was really amazing! The cottage and surroundings are next level, beds were very comfortable, the bath tub is stunning and the hot tub was so relaxing. Everything absolutely everything was lovely!! The knowledge of the taste room ladies about the history of the farm shows that everybody at Seven Oaks is part of the greater/ larger Seven Oaks family

The Turkish Bath

Pleasantly private, given that the cottage’s are in a row. Beautiful views — with lights off, stars are amazing at night. Cottage came with everything we needed, beds were comfy. Order enough wood in advance to fire up the sauna. Ideal getaway for family.

7 oaks was a wonderful venue that we thoroughly enjoyed as a family. It exceeded our expectations as a venue for our time there. Central to a variety of activities and local towns just a short drive away. Owners are friendly and wonderful people.
