Our room was quiet and we enjoyed the onsen a lot! Can’t really say enough about how thoughtful and gracious Mao and the entire staff were. Can tell how much pride they take in the hotel.

Un hôtel hors du temps dans le vieux Hita, Personnel et gérant tres aidants et sympathique le tout dans un cadre magnifique, calme et serai . Le petit déjeuner était également délicieux, et un accès au bain privatif rajoute vraiment au séjour une dimension mystique.

Beautiful comfortable well maintained small inn. Nice onsen which you can reserve for private use during some hours of the day. The staff were great. The breakfast was amazing!

Everything was great

I will never forget the wonderful experience I had at the hotel. The staff were kind, warm, and excellent at communication. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the hot spring was perfect for relieving travel fatigue. The location was also very convenient, with great restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. I would definitely love to stay here again when I visit Japan in the future. I sincerely thank all the staff at Hotel Kazahaya for their thoughtful care during my stay.

風早旅館最滿意的是服務，除了到巴士站接我們，離開時還送我們到下一間旅館，早餐非常用心，給我們看日本傳統的鱈胃做成的佃煮魚，還有當地食材的青菜，味增湯續碗是馬上現煮味增湯，裡面有青菜，不是煮一大鍋起來續碗的，環境非常安靜雅緻，浴室雖然小卻很乾淨很細心，很多小細節看得出來旅館的用心，雖然沒有豪華的入門庭廊，但卻是現代人想要靜心放鬆休息的好旅館，非常喜歡！有機會還會再來！

The location was great, in the old town with parking provided. The staff were friendly and helpful but the facilities were less than expected, uncomfortable bedding, terrible small pillow and tiny thin towels. We feel that overall it did not represent value for money.

Charming small old school Japanese inn with warm and responsive hospitality. The food was excellent. Breakfast was traditional Japanese with varied dishes made with local seasonal ingredients. Dinner was a kind of Japanese/French fusion. Easy access parking right out front. Don’t hesitate, just book this hotel.

직원이 영어도 가능하고 너무 친절해서 큰 문제 없이 체크인 하고 숙소 이용했습니다 퇴실 하는 날 히타 역까지 픽업 해주셔서 좋았고 퇴실 하고 점심으로 센야에 가서 식사할거라고 얘기했는데 그러면 식사 하는 동안 짐을 맡아주겠다고 다녀오라고 해서 퇴실하는 날까지 편하게 식사 했습니다 다음에 또 히타에 간다면 카자하야에 재방문 할 의사가 있습니다

こぢんまりとしており、落ち着いて過ごせてよかったです！ 暖房もガスだったのでホッとする暖かさでした。 朝食のお米もとても美味しかったです！！

The host is very friendly and the place is decent. They even have a lot of books in the lounge.

・部屋数が少ないのは、静かで、落ち着いて過ごせて、安心できました。 ・朝食が見事でした。満足感高し。お米がとっても美味しくて、リクエストしたら、余った白飯で、おにぎりを作っていただきました。

Lovely staff. Big room and great breakfast. Can highly recommend!

Location was great, the owner was super friendly with excellent English so we had good conversations. This is a classic, beautifully appointed well run establishment. The onsen was lovely and has all the “bells and whistles” you could ask for including two great massage chairs to lay back in and enjoy after a hot bath. Meals were excellent.

特別室を予約したのでお部屋にとても期待していた分、実際案内されると広めだけどさほど特別感は感じられませんでした。その分夕食と朝食の両方ともお料理がとても美味しくて、日田の伝統も織り交ぜながら素材にもこだわって丁寧に大切に作ってくださったのが伝わるもので、一緒に宿泊した友人共々大感激しながらゆっくり味わうことができました。宿泊した当日は平日ということもあり、館内やお風呂でも他の宿泊客とかちあうことなくのんびりと利用できて、とてもくつろいで過ごすことができました。お料理とそんなくつろぎを求めてまた宿泊してみたいなと思うお宿でした。

이 숙소는 모든 면에서 최고로 완벽했어요! 중년에 접어든 6명의 여성 친구들이 함께 1박을 하고 주변 마메다구치를 둘러보기에 최적화된 장소에 있고, 규모는 작지만 (객실이 총 6개) 객실마다 공간이 넓고 깨끗해요. 무엇보다 좋은건 일본 전통료칸의 분위기를 가지면서도 호텔이라 장점을 혼합해놨다는 것입니다. 첫날 체크인을 마치고 장어덮밥을 먹으러 간다고 하니 한 여직원이 직접 함께 걸어가며 길도 알려주고 근처 꼭 둘러볼 상점들 소개도 해 주었어요. 송영서비스 해 주시는 남자 직원도 영어도 잘하시고 친절하십니다. 석식은 미포함 조식은 포함으로 했는데 조식 예술이었습니다!!! 작지만 대욕장도 있는데 탕 한쪽으로 큰 창이 나 있어서 전부 열고 있으니 노천탕 부럽지 않았습니다. 저희는 패밀리객실 하나와 다다미객실 하나를 썼는데 특히 패밀리객실 추천합니다!

A lovely little gem of a hotel in the charming historic old part of Hita. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed laundry done and got two bags done for 1,000 yen. The baths were also very nice. They needed to be reserved befre 9:30 but then you could share with family members or a partner. (Photos are of Maedamachi where the hotel is located.

Le gérant est très accueillant, parle parfaitement anglais et multiplie les petites attentions pour rendre le séjour parfait. La chambre est spacieuse, décorée avec goût dans un style traditionnel japonais. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur du vieux quartier de Hita. Petit déjeuner paisible et agréable. Bref, un sans faute. Je recommande sans hésitation.

모든 직원들이 너무 친절하고 대접받는 기분이 들었습니다. 특히 픽업서비스, 숙소 안내 등 남자 지배인님이 너무 친절합니다!! 또한 호텔 위치도 마메다마치 중심가에 위치해 너무 편리했습니다. 대욕장을 낮시간에는 가족탕으로 이용할 수 있는 점이 좋았고 숙소도 너무 예쁩니다~ 히타 특산물과 갓 지은 쌀밥이 포함된 조식도 너무 강추합니다 또 가고 싶어요

First, you need cash( Japanese street foods ) and the Suica app( using bus). From Fukuoka Domestic Airport, you can take a direct bus. Just show the address to the bus staff, and they will guide you to the bus station. The owner speaks English and usually replies within a few minutes. You can book a private hot spring for 45 minutes. After 10 PM, it is free to use until midnight. Additional usage time is also available in the morning from 6 AM to 10 AM.

직원분들이 모두 정말 친절했어요. 일본의 전통적인 분위기를 느낄 수 있어서 좋았어요 온천도 정말 좋았습니다. 조식도 일본 가정식이 나왔는데, 전체적으로 맛있었고 특히 밥이 너무너무 맛있었어요. 엄마의 생일 기념으로 가족여행을 간건데 엄마가 정말 좋아하셨어요. All the staff were really nice. It was nice to be able to feel the traditional Japanese mood. The hot spring was also really nice. The breakfast was also Japanese home-style, and overall it was delicious. Especially, the rice was so delicious. I went on a family trip to celebrate my mom's birthday and she really liked it.

The owner, who is very friendly, as is all staff actually. In the middle of the charming old town of Hita, a relatively unknown gem. Make sure to book dinner, which is served in an adjacent restaurant, which belongs to the hotel. Amazing standard of cooking, Japanese with some international influences. The breakfast, served in the hotel, is Japanese and excellent as well. Our room had a private bath and shower. On top of that, there are two Onsen in the hotel as well, who can be reserved for private use by the hotel guests. Free parking right in front of the hotel.

温泉の温度が熱すぎた(個人差はあると思うが、私と妻にとっては熱すぎた) 温泉自体は湯上がり後肌がスベスベしてとても 良かった。

Classy comfortable room, warm in the winter. The cozy reading room of the hotel was a plus. Very friendly staff. Outstanding meals, way above the average food usually served in ryokans. Highly recommended hotel.

The property is in the Center of Hita and has every point of interest within minutes of walk. The traditional Japanese building is kept in the original charming style. We were received before arrival by the exceptional hospitality of staff and enjoyed every moment in Hita.

The hotel is a unique place, Japanese style. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel two times each and thought the food was amazing and a great value. Mao, the owner/manager was very helpful, friendly and informative about Hita.

It's a lovely facility, and Mao takes really amazing care of the grounds (even handles the gardens by himself)! The breakfast we added on was lovely, culturally appropriate, and tasty. Really liked the onsen. The room was good, quite comfortable. Loved the location in the middle of Hita, even including parking for our rental car.

The room could maybe use a bit of modernization/updates.

We really enjoy our stay at Hotel Kazahaya. If anyone visits Hita, I strongly recommend to live there more than one night.
