El ir a un riokan no me gustó. Los osen son o de hombres o de mujeres, si vas con tu pareja cada uno tiene que ir por separado. Lógicamente no hicimos uso de los baños. El precio muy caro para lo que ofrecen

아빠와 동생과 함께한 첫 해외여행에서 머문 곳이라 더욱 기억에 남는 숙소입니다. 마침 동생의 생일이기도 했고 아빠가 온천을 좋아하셔서 좋은 료칸에서 하루를 보내고 싶어 예약하게 되었습니다. 그런데 직원분께서 동생의 생일 기념품도 준비해 주셔서 하루종일 동생이 좋아했습니다! 아빠는 저녁에 나온 가이세키 요리와 객실의 분위기, 숙소 컨디션까지 모두 마음에 들어 하셨고, 저 역시 온천과 직원분들의 세심하고 친절한 응대 덕분에 정말 편안하게 머물 수 있었습니다!! 가족과 함께한 첫 해외여행에서 좋은 추억을 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다. 다음에 이곳으로 다시 여행을 오게 된다면 꼭 다시 머물고 싶은 숙소입니다!!!!! 정말 감사했습니다

The staff were lovely, warm and thoughtful. When we arrived, we were shown around our suite and we were able to ask questions about using the Onsen. It was our first time at an Onsen so we were not familiar with all the customs. The staff answered all our questions and were very helpful. We even forgot a couple of items in our room when we checked out and they brought them to the train station for us (before we even realized we left them behind).

숙소는 깨끗하고 조용했어요. 가이셰키는 기대보단 덜했지만 훌륭한 편이었고 조식은 아주 만족했습니다.

직원들의 서비스는 물론이고, 식사도 온천 수질도 너어무 좋았습니다! 2박 묵었는데 식사가 매번 다 다르게 정갈하게 차려져있고, 재료도 하나 하나 다 설명해주셨어요! 물은 바디크림 필요 없을 정도로 매끈매끈 부들부들 좋았고, 청소가 정말 잘되어있어서 감탄했어요 ㅎㅎㅎ 또 가고 싶네요 ㅠㅡㅠ

The food is excellent

Absolutely lovely stay. Room was so spacious, had a beautiful courtyard area, and loved the onsen - it truly felt like a magical experience. I was debating between this place and the more historic/traditional Yunoshimakan but I am so glad I picked Kawakamiya Kasuitei - it felt like only locals were staying here and it wasn't on a steep hill so it made access so much easier for my elderly mom. The staff were kind and gave us complimentary tea, as well as a welcome "food" and dessert. We loved the private and public onsen because the water was so clean (felt like a true mineral mountain spring water). Out of the 5 nights that we spent across Takayama, Gero and Nagoya, this place was hands-down the best and very worth it for the price. Loved the traditional Japanese breakfast - it made us very full until dinner!

Location: it's a bit far from the rest of tourist sites, but the great thing, the Ryokan provide taxi It's a bit too quiet, we barely met anyone on the corridor or dinner or onsen. This place is perfect for getting some quiet time. Staff was a bit too rigid, they reminded us few times to get the breakfast.

Guests can take advantage of a complimentary taxi service from the station, made possible through a partnership between accommodations in the Gero area. Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcome you and graciously escort you to the lounge. Tea and light refreshments are thoughtfully served while you wait, creating a sense of attentive care from the very beginning. The facilities are immaculate and well maintained. The property offers open-air baths, a private bath available by reservation, and separate public baths for men and women, allowing guests to fully appreciate the relaxing hot spring experience. Gero itself is a charming town that can be explored on foot in about 30–40 minutes. As the ryokan is located slightly away from the busiest area, the atmosphere is peaceful and pleasantly tranquil. This was my first experience staying at a ryokan, and the traditional Japanese cuisine was truly excellent. Breakfast was equally satisfying and beautifully prepared. If the opportunity arises, I would be delighted to return in the future and share this experience with my parents.

숙소의 모든 시설이 깔끔하고 아름다웠으며, 직원분들도 모두 친절하셨습니다. 여유롭게 대욕장 및 예약제로 운영되는 노천탕을 이용할 수 있었고, 방에 있는 노천탕 또한 깔끔하고 만족스러웠습니다. 숙소가 조용하여 휴식을 취하기에 완벽하였습니다. 석식과 조식 또한 종류가 매우 다양하고, 하나하나 예쁘고 맛있어서 지금까지 먹은 가이세키 중 가장 만족스럽게 식사하였습니다.

친구들이랑 다녀왔어요! 1박만 하고왔는데 몇 박을 해도 좋을 것 같았습니다. 일요일에 가서 그런지 사람도 많이 없고 온천 가서 다른 사람 만나지도 못해서 진짜 좋았어요~ 음식도 맛있었고 저녁은 밖에서 먹겠다 했더니 근처 식당 여러군데 추천도 해주심. 방도 넓고 스탭분들 과할정도로 친절하셔서 다음에 부모님 모시고 오고 싶어요!!

렌트카로 가서 위치 찾기가 힘들었다는 게 유일한 단점인데 전화하니까 근처까지 직접 데리려와주셨어요;; 너무 친절하셨음...

직원분이 너무나 친전하고 숙소도 조용하고 너무 좋았습니다. 한번 또 가고싶은 숙소중 하나입니다.

노천탕 남탕에서 온천을할때 206호에서 훤히 다 보여서 조금 난감했습니다.

We had dinner and breakfast and the food and presentation, thought and effort behind food preparation was impeccable and we were really appreciative of it. Onsen was really nice too. Most importantly the staff were excellent!

Wonderful place to stay. Change of clothes everyday. Room was clean, well equipped and cosy. Beds were very comfortable! Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. Food at the ryokan was delicious and they were very accommodating and cooked alternative dishes for my son who doesn't take seafood. We tried both indoor and outdoor onsen, and they were both great experience.

Our room might be a bit small for family of 4. But we kind of expect it for a ryokan.

Staff was exceptionally kind and understanding despite our limited language skills. The outdoor onsen was very comfortable, and the room was wonderful to stay in.

It was a little confusing to navigate into town for dinner based on the map provided, but that probably says more about my own ability to find my way or follow instructions.

Beautiful Ryokan in the area of Gero Onsen. We couldn't use the private onsen as it needs to be reserved in advance, however the public one was very good and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves in the evening. Exceptional multi-course dinner and breakfast with very good service. Convenient private parking right in front of the place. Very spacious and clean traditional ryokan room. Extremely kind and helpful staff. This was the best accomodation in our whole 3-weeks Japan trip!

The staff was very welcoming and contacted us prior to our arrival concerning dietary preferences, yukata sizes, etc. They allowed us to drop off our bags quite early on in the day so we could sight-see without lugging everything with us all day. We were extremely fortunate to have a wonderful staff lady to help us navigate the facilities and make us feel very much at home. She called us when it was time for our meals, took the time to explain all the various dishes, ensured we had a taxi available for our departure, and saw that our luggage was loaded when it was time to check out. The taxis booked were free of charge which was a lovely touch and the entire staff saw us off as we drove off. My husband and friends will be talking about this wonderful experience for the rest of our lives

We left the bath door open for a little bit to enjoy the sounds of the private onsens streaming water before bed and unfortunately the cypress bath had some odor (probably mold which makes sense given the wood tub and constant water flow) quarternary ammonium salt would probably help with this issue.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was quite big and had a view of beautiful trees and the mountain, beyond. We opened the doors and could listen to the rain through the screens. We loved the private, reservable onsen and used it both nights. The staff was very courteous and the breakfast was very delicious and served in a private room. They even provided a taxi to and from the train station to the hotel! Highly recommended!

Unbelievably Rude Service for a family Stay The service at this hotel was the worst I have ever experienced. From check-in to check-out, the staff repeatedly reminded us of the check-out time, even pretending to ask about our next plans just to stress that we must leave by 11 AM. We never once said we would stay past the time, and we were fully aware of the check-out policy. Yet throughout our stay, they kept sternly repeating “11 AM check-out,” making us feel like criminals. We booked two rooms with breakfast included. At check-in, the staff asked if we wanted breakfast served separately or together, and we clearly requested separately. However, breakfast was prepared together, and when we pointed this out, the staff simply said that the person who checked us in was off duty and they knew nothing about it. Their only response was “sumimasen” with no responsibility taken. It made us think — what if these two rooms were for strangers? Would we be forced to share a breakfast table? Finally, at check-out, we brought all of this up, but none of the three staff members could speak English at all. They only used a translator to keep repeating “sumimasen” and “non-refundable” (even though we never asked for a refund). I have stayed at many places in my life, but for about $400 per room per night, the level of service here was unacceptable. If anyone wants to experience such treatment, feel free to stay here. For us, this completely ruined the image of Gero, and we left at 11 AM as if escaping. 400불 숙박에서 믿기 힘든 무례한 서비스 이 호텔의 서비스는 제가 지금까지 경험한 것 중 최악이었습니다. 체크인부터 체크아웃까지 직원들은 끊임없이 체크아웃 시간을 강조했고, 심지어 다음 일정을 묻는 척하면서 11시 체크아웃을 반드시 지켜야 한다고 지속적으로 말했습니다. 우리는 체크아웃을 늦추겠다고 한 적도 없고 규정을 잘 알고 있었음에도, 투숙 내내 “11시 체크아웃”을 엄격히 반복해 마치 죄인처럼 느끼게 했습니다. 우리는 조식 포함 2개의 방을 예약했습니다. 체크인 시 직원이 조식을 따로 준비할까요, 같이 준비할까요 하고 물어보기에 따로 준비해달라고 요청했습니다. 그러나 실제로는 함께 준비되어 있었고, 이 문제를 제기하자 직원은 “체크인 담당자가 오늘 쉬는 날이라 우리는 모른다”라는 말만 되풀이했습니다. 책임을 회피하며 단순히 “스미마셍”으로 끝냈습니다.

洋室に宿泊。新しくセンスの良い室内で、家族4人ゆったり快適に過ごせた。置かれた飛騨家具も良かった。部屋風呂も広く、温泉も出て良かった。

게로 기차역에서 이 료칸에 이용하는 고객은 택시비를 제공하여줍니다. 감동이였어요. 물론 체크아웃후 기차역까지도요. 저녁은 일본 코스요리로 정갈했고 아침도 훌륭했습니다. 노천 온천도 훌륭했고 실내 온천도 좋습니다. 무엇보다도 호텔 직원분들이 너무친절하시고 대접을 받는게 이런거구나 할정도였어요. 어머님을 모시고 갔는데 너무 좋아하셨습니다. 한적하고 조용하고 온천물도 매끈한게 최고였습니다.

편의점을 가려면 좀 거리가 있어요.

This hotel is the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were helpful and always very friendly. The breakfast option was extraordinary, a private banquet of traditional Japanese dishes. The hot spring is beautiful, a rock pool flowing with healing water, always available. It is right on the Hida River which brings a soft tranquility. The walk into town is short, 15 or 20 minutes brings you to the center of town, with many dining options, temples and shrines. A truly memorable and relaxing experience.

We were truly impressed by our two-night stay at Kasuitei. We enjoyed the gracious hospitality – it set a high bar for Japanese service. One of our travellers fell sick one day before arrival, but the hotel agreed to waive cancellation charges. It was a kind gesture on their part. The hotel bridged the language barrier. We were hosted by a front desk who spoke eloquent English and staff who went out of their way to use Google translate to introduce breakfast dishes. I’ve visited many ryokans that introduce their Kaiseki in Japanese, leaving guests perplexed. The front desk gave us food recommendations and helped us make a reservation. Our room was immaculate, spacious and cosy. It offered a beautiful window view (would look amazing in autumn with scarlet red leaves). We liked the hotel’s attention to detail. For instance, the futon pillow was concave and provided neck support. The public and private onsens were new, clean and well-maintained. There was also a massage chair for use after taking a bath. Breakfast was delectable. I miss the main dish for my day-one breakfast – grilled vegetables in a hot plate of rich miso. We highly recommend a stay at Kasuitei in Gero.

정통 료칸의 정석! 부담스럽지 않은 친절함과 세심한 배려에 이틀밤을 편하게 보내고 왔습니다. 게로역과의 거리는 있는 편이지만 택시 무료 이용 시간을 잘 이용하면 편하게 이동 가능하고 도보로 이동도 힘들지 않았습니다. 온천수가 정말 좋았어요. 가이세키도 만족스러웠어요! 제대로 효도한 여행이었습니다.
