Excellent throughout - from helpful staff to attractive grounds and very comfortable room. The breakfast was especially enjoyable. Only minor criticism was the design of the shower room that guaranteed water ingress onto the floor.

Boutique hotel ambiance. Staff were personable, funny and informative. Breakfast was the highlight to our stay at F6- croissants baking in the oven, coffee in the pot and a fresh array of healthy delicacies. Best way to start your day!!!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was spotlessly clean, the towels smelled amazing, and the bed linen was fresh and very comfortable. The room was spacious and easily accommodated four people. The location was perfect, right in the city center and within easy walking distance of everything. A special mention goes to the ladies at reception, who were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. On our first day, they helped us decide where to eat and gave us great suggestions on what to see and do. On our last day, they kindly stored our luggage so we could enjoy our morning before leaving. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

A lot to like. Great pre-arrival communication, comfortable and quiet room on the courtyard, truly delightful breakfasts, perfect location for exploring downtown Helsinki, friendly and helpful staff, fast and free wifi. Not a corporate chain, no bonus points, just a lovely home away from home.

Ongoing building construction next door can be noisy during the day (but quiet in our room).

Extremely great location, multiple shops nearby and most landmarks within 10-15 mins walk. Train station is also less than 20 mins away. I got to check in super early like 11AM, which was amazing. Meant I got another full day to explore Helsinki!

Only downside is the gym is kinda small and the prices are a bit excessive for laundry

Lovely welcoming staff who arranged for our rucksacks to be taken up to our room. Our room was upgraded - big room, comfortable bed & large well equipped bathroom. Delicious buffet breakfast. Receptionist pointed us in the direction of an excellent coffee shop. Decor was calm & stylish.

A very thoughtful gesture by the staff, who left us a nice note wishing us a happy anniversary along with a bowl of candies.

There was no water in the room (neither a bottle nor a pitcher), which should be a standard amenity. Additionally, upon arrival, the toilet paper roll was already half-used rather than a new one, which doesn't match the hotel's standards.

Free bike rental, breakfast room turns into bar at night.

Absolutely beautiful hotel close to the centre. Lovely Rooms with light and fluffy pillows and duvets. We all slept so well! The Courtyard, Breakfast area, Bar area and Reception were all lovely. The Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was so fresh, lovely warm breads, salmon, cheeses and the porridge was the best I’ve ever had anywhere! Couldn’t fault it. The attention to detail, trims on the curtains, Bathrobes and towels made everything that bit more special. It was my Daughter’s 30th Birthday and we asked for a Deluxe room. It was amazing, beautifully furnished with lovely comfy seating area and entrance area. Absolutely perfect!

Location is great - 2 mins to Esplanadi, 2 min to S-market. Tons of restaurants around. Rooms are decent size by European standards with modern amenities. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is excellent - variety of different breads, berries, heavenly croissants. Try Karelian pastry with egg butter. Surprisingly all yoghurts and 'milk' are lactose free (regular milk is available at a different station). Front desk is helpful and cheerful . Highly recommended property.

Staff were helpful, quick and friendly. Great breakfast. Lovely to have the quiet courtyard areas. This hotel ranks in the top tier of Helsinki hotels and as we stayed in a different hotel (next tier down) on our return Helsinki, it's easy to see why. The standard room is larger, the furnishings are finer, everything is just that much more polished.

Our room was directly above the bar, (which to be fair shuts at a reasonable time) and this meant we could hear some music when we were going to bed. We were super tired after waking up at 3.30am and I am very sensitive to sound. The hotel is generally very quiet. If I had known, I would have asked for a room on a higher floor or basically away from the bar as that noise did carry a little. Everything else about the hotel is lovely. And I suspect that pretty much every other room is quiet.

Perfect location, incredibly comfortable beds, friendly staff and a good breakfast.

One small improvement: for a five-star hotel, a little daily extra or thoughtful touch would have made the stay perfect. However, this perhaps simply isn’t part of the more understated Scandinavian approach to luxury.

The hotel has a lot of character and is in such a central location in Helsinki. The staff went out of their way to help and answered any questions you had. Even reserved us a table for dinner at our chosen restaurant. The breakfast is amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable bed. The shower was fabulous!

I had very good experience with the larger suite.

A smaller room that I booked inotially had the view of a blank wall, quite glooming at the best.

The staff was friendly and helful. They gave recommendations for cocktails , dinner and shopping. The receptionist went beyond her scope and even got me a packed breakfast as I checked out at 0400 hours for the airport. Room clean with all amenities. Comfy bed . Fab location.

The staff was very amicable and very professional and always available to help. The location is perfect. The food was plenty and excellent. I would definitely stay at Hotel F6 again and recommend it to anybody visiting Helsinki.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times booking the same room Last time I was upgraded which was lovely, but this time I wasn't and the room was quite small from the first time I stayed there.
