It remains a beautiful, well-appointed venue, with amazing views and sunsets. I love the art gallery, meals at the hotel restaurant are generous (the pork fillet is really good!), breakfast has a large variety. The gym and swimming pool were enticing for a next visit. Staff very helpful.

What a wind there was in Gordons Bay during my stay! The sliding door onto the balcony shook and howled with every gust; and since I'd checked in to work, I was in the room all day. On request, reception kindly showed me another room, which was much quieter despite the wind, so that sliding door clearly sealed properly. I hope they did get the first room's door looked at, so the next guests during a storm have a better experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and surroundings on the property, the pool was very clean, the lifts made everything comfortable to change floors and the property are very safe and secured.

The bed in the room was not so comfortable, actualy very hard, so we did not have a very comfortable full night's rest, and the pillows are very soft while watching the television, and where the breakfast is concern there was a large variety of items to enjoy, but certain items like the different cocktail type of sausages were very dried out and the bacon as well, did not enjoy the bread as well tasted very old some of the bread was difficult to cut through.

The view was perfect and Breakfast as well! Very good!

• Two TVs — neither a Smart TV. • Both TVs outdated, with fuzzy picture quality. • No TV box or streaming option. • A sofa that was the very reason I selected the room, but virtually no usable entertainment to enjoy from it. • A bed so hard it felt like sleeping on a board. • A bathroom extraction fan that couldn't be switched off in the room and its constant humming made sleeping peacefully difficult. These aren't little inconveniences that a guest should simply shrug off. These are basic comfort and functionality issues that the hotel should have addressed before selling the room to guests. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I deliberately selected this room based on its advertised features. Had I known beforehand that the TVs were essentially obsolete, that there was no streaming facility, that the bed was extraordinarily hard and that I would have to sleep with a permanently running extraction fan humming in the background, I would never have booked here. A hotel doesn't get credit simply for putting two televisions in a room if neither one provides a decent viewing experience. And guests shouldn't have to sacrifice a good night's sleep because management hasn't figured out how to switch off a bathroom fan. This room was nowhere near the standard I expected, and the gap between what was advertised and what was actually provided is extremely disappointing. Management seriously needs to reconsider the condition and functionality of the amenities in this room. Outdated equipment, an uncomfortable bed and an uncontrollable noise source are not what guests should be paying for when they book a supposedly comfortable hotel room. Very disappointing. I would not book this hotel again, and based on this experience, I would think twice before recommending the hotel to anyone who values comfort, peace and basic modern amenities.

The room we booked was supposed to be sea facing; however, these are subject to availability. So, you book a sea facing room and when you arrive you get a room with a view of the road leading to the hotel. This fact should be made clear when booking to avoid dissapointment.

We enjoyed your buffet breakfast - such a big variety and great staff. The service we received was top notch. The hotel offered great amenities which didn’t really require us to go anywhere else but also loved that we were in a prime location close to shopping centres etc.

I do wish the bars had the option to make and serve mocktails.

The room exceeded our expectations. It was modern, well-designed, and the bed provided an excellent night's sleep Breakfast was a highlight of the stay. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and there was a great variety of both hot and cold choices. The view from our window was breathtaking. Whether it was morning light or evening sunset, it really added something special to our trip.

The room was not as advertised. Have in the past stayed at Krystal many times and was entirely satisfied.

The huge space and comfort, the coffee, the full bathroom, low lights in bathroom, overall quietness in the night, the restaurant food was exquisite, the ambience with art gallery, overall a beautiful hotel.

The view. Our view was the back of the spa and their aircons😑and no patio chairs available to move to a spot with view.

WE upgraded but view was not great and it would be nice to be able to be told what rooms were available and maybe tell us more so next time we can ask for a specific room. NO service whilst sitting down at breakfast all plated bowls cups cluttered the table.

The hotel did not have halaal facilities, we wanted to order room service and was told that the chef does not work weekends. Pillows were not very comfortable, but we made do.

I had a fantastic stay at Krystal Beach Hotel with my family. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. A special thank you to D, Monique, and Ondela, and Daniel who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Knowing that we were travelling with our 2-year-old son, D kindly upgraded us to a more suitable room, as our original room had stairs. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference and showed genuine care for our family's comfort and safety. The professionalism, friendliness, and outstanding customer service provided by the entire team truly exceeded our expectations. I was so impressed that I have already made arrangements with D for my next stay. I highly recommend Krystal Beach Hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would—this hotel deserves 10 stars!

Our stay at Krystal Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The unit we stayed in was spacious and a highlight was that the kids had their own separate area which made our stay even more comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, modern, and stocked with all the necessary toiletries. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wonderful variety of both hot and continental options. There was something to suit everyone's taste, and everything was fresh and well prepared. The spectacular sea view from our unit was the icing on the cake. Waking up to such a beautiful view each morning made our stay even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Krystal Beach Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Gordon's Bay. We look forward to visiting again.

While we had an overall enjoyable stay at Krystal Beach Hotel, there were a few areas where the guest experience could be improved. Although the reception staff were friendly and welcoming during check-in, we were disappointed that we were not given any information about the hotel's facilities. No one pointed out where the swimming pool or gym was located, nor were we informed about the other amenities and activities available at the hotel. We only discovered by chance that there was a spa on the property, which would have been a lovely addition to our stay had we known about it sooner. A brief orientation at check-in or an overview of the hotel's facilities would greatly enhance the guest experience and help visitors make the most of everything the hotel has to offer.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel due to its location near the beach. It's well run, very friendly staff and clean, and we 'll probably go back there again one day. The only problem we had is that the bathroom floor gets very wet when you have a shower as the floor does not slope towards the drain, but that was a minor problem.

The view from our room was straight onto a roof that needed painting.

It is clean. Easy to find my way. The food was great!! The heating in the room was awesome. Helped a lot with the cold evening. It was nice to just take a walk on the deck.

The shower situation was a little awkward. Water splashes everywhere. On the toilet, basin and everywhere. The water also doesn’t flow to the drain properly. It flows outward of the shower and there was nothing to dry the floor with. The TV situation also wasn’t great. I understand weather affects DSTV, but having smart tvs or other means for guests to stream using their login details on the various streaming apps would be cool.

The service from reception was not nice and we were supposed to have breakfast which was part of what we paid for but it was not provided to us and the cleaners make a lot of noise in the hallways.
