Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cincinnati Uptown/University Area

Management and staff was rude and both overcharged for the stay and everything was meager at best.

Like the staff, food, environmental, ambience

Do not like the US $ 50 retainer they kept per day .It was not disclosed prior to booking. I have not yet received the $ 150 dollars due to me. If there is a retainer per day it should have been disclosed prior to booking.

Very clean and nice

Had to park in the parking garage

Everything

I love how close it is to the UC campus.

Staff was super helpful. Room was spotless.

No problems or concerns.

Great location and friendly staff

The ice machines were broken

Super convenient location for campus visits to UC

I was charged $100 more at the desk than what Booking.com stated as my total. I’m assuming it was a deposit that may be refunded but I really don’t know, and nothing was said as an explanation.

Just ok

Boring me u

Great hotel with great facilities.

I forgot about how busy it is in the location.

It was a convenient location, very clean and comfortable stay.

The breakfast options were OK. We hardly ate any of it. There wasn’t a lot that we liked, but there was coffee and bagels and some fruit so that was actually pretty easy to take with us while we walk to the university..

Breakfast was adequate. Wish they had coffee available at all hours instead of just in the morning but over all good.

I didn't research enough about parking. I didn't realize there was a separate parking garage but it worked out ok.

Clean

Pool a little small

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. While we didn't eat breakfast in the morning, it did smell and look very good.

I didn't like the fact that the parking was not closer. It was raining when we got there and due to the parking garage not being connected to the building , we were soaked.

Close to a lot of attractions

It was clean friendly staff

Location

Nothing

Very clean and friendly staff

Terrible location. Did not get good sleep with loud cars and people on the street all night. Was kept up until 3:30am.

The staff and the location

Too much noisy till very late in the night

The room was nice and met our needs. If we stay there again, I would like to know if rooms are available with an additional sink located in the room. ie. near the area where the coffe pot and microwave are located.

The door to the room was almost too heavy to open.

Location to campus was awesome.

The constant car revving during the night.

Everything

I liked everything about it

Lobby area was great. Staff accommodated us well as we were 7 sisters traveling together and needed a few things.

Not being able to park and get checked in. Details could include checking into the parking ramp necessary to even check in. We went around the block a few times.

Very nice property. Really good location. Parking is close and cheap. Close to Findlay Market. Plenty of restaurants and stores, all walkable.

Breakfast could have been a little bit better, but they worked really hard.

Very clean, nice locations

Have to pay $20 to park in parking garage

The room was very good.

The pillows were to soft and my wife didn’t like the bed

*Location is awesome, walking distance to everything. Even a target next door. *Rooms are clean and spacious. *Beds are comfy. *Staff are exceptional (see below). *Breakfast was good. *Higher floors can see Cinci Skyline. We were there from my daughter's annual appts at CC. The staff were amazing. She also became ill and couldn't make it to the the room. Staff came and cleaned everything up quickly, BUT were most conceened about her. We were asked several times how she was doing. We have never stayed at a hotel with such caring and accommodating staff and will always stay here now. ❤️

Our first night was a warm night and this hotel is in close proximity to the Uni of Cinci... They moved us to a higher floor.

Location

Parking

Breakfast was decent and the location was decent.

Cars were racing all night long.Could not get any good sleep.\nOn friday night.

It was good. Maybe more fruit next time.

Out door was tough to open and close. No issues otherwise.

It’s located right on the UC campus so it’s within walking distance of everything. It’s clean and felt very safe. Plenty to eat and do right outside the front door!

Nothing!

Tasteless

Not much

Great complementary breakfast

Nice room and nice breakfast. Front desk staff was polite but did not make much effort to be helpful with instructions for parking or other questions we had about facility/area.

Location

The room was not set up like a normal suite. There was a bed and a bed, and no partition between that was not the described.

The actual hotel is very nice and we enjoyed the convenience this offers for visiting our family at UC but the mattress was horrible that we slept on. Actually felt like we were sleeping on a table. Think its time to be replaced. Otherwise, a nice hotel.

Beautifully renovated and convenient hotel close to everything. Parking garage conveniently located next door. Nakeisha at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well.

Clean and modern downtown hotel.

Ahudans

The noise from the cars on the street was really bad

clean updated room. will be back

Very clean, super friendly staff

Absolutely wonderful stay! The entire staff were pleasant and helpful! The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was wonderful!

Clown and God breakfast

convenient location with a loud night life area.

Out of king rooms per our reservation. We were given a double queen instead.
