Negative that turned into a positive for sure - AC in room had stopped working. Front desk very helpful and maintenance even on site after 9 pm to come look at it. No waiting until the next day! However we did have AC issues throughout our visit.

The book was very good and there was a variety to choose from. It’s very nice.

Convenient location to everything, it was mostly clean and previous stays breakfast was good and everything was available to us if needed in the room.

This time around we had to wait 2 hours after check in for a room. They didn’t have our room available so they tried to downgrade us and bring us a fridge. Then told us we could be upgraded but would need two seperate rooms for our group. They said they would get us conjoining doors as this was a girls trip and we wanted to all be in the room together. When we finally got a room it was not conjoining. Breakfast in the morning was out of food and multiple groups waiting in line for 20 minutes for them to make more.

Loved the location in downtown, right next to everything! Beds were amazingly comfortable, slept really, really well. Rooms were spacious and cozy. Loved our stay!!

I don't believe our terrible experience is connected to the hotel itself. I could be wrong. The hotel manager and clerk were very helpful with fixing our situation. The problem started with the reservation website which is worded to make you think you're booking with the hotel but really, you're speaking with a no name in Florida, someone who knows nothing of the area. We thought we were booking at the Newport Ky location across the river but instead we ended up in downtown Cincinnati. Major hassle! The most wonderful manager helped us correct the error and got us a room where we supposed to be. As we were leaving, we had to pay $7.00 on our cellphone credit card which got denied. No reason for that so we tried again and it was denied a second time, so we left. The gate went up so we thought it was a malfunction of some sort. When we got home, we received an email saying we owed $54.00 for a late fee from the parking garage. This has to be some kind of scam connected either knowingly or not by the hotel company. We did find out this same thing has happened quite a few times at this hotel. If you book at this hotel, be very careful. We were told the garage is run by the city, so who knows.

The ac wasn’t working , the receptionist was very rude and my 1st night was a nightmare. Afterwards they moved me to a better room, it seems that they have newer and older rooms. The breakfast was varied but poor quality. Too expensive for what it is

Leider hat uns der Aufenthalt nicht sehr gefallen. Das Zimmer ist zwar geräumig, ebenso das Bad. Aber das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war wirklich schlimm. Fertig-Essen auf Papiertellern mit Plastikbesteck. Wirklich gruselig. Wir sind, obwohl das Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen war, ab dem 2. Tag woanders frühstücken gegangen. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren bestenfalls gleichgültig, teilweise aber auch eher unfreundlich. Alles in allem leider keine gute Erfahrung und dafür auch viel zu teuer

I absolutely loved the hotel and Isaiah was an amazing help with valet! I recommend this stay for anyone visiting Cincinnati! Please keep Ashleigh and Isaiah as employees here, as they went above and beyond!

Big and clean room. Comfy bed. Nice space with all the amenities, fridge, double sink, lots of space. We were surprised at how nice it was.

The hotel was nice and the room was very nice and clean, bad view but that's fine. Staff could have been more timely and informative. Check-in is 3:00 - we wait until 3:30 or so to get the room.

Staff could have been kinder. There is no parking for the hotel so we had to park in garage on level 3 plus, no elevators were working so a whole lot of walking and lugging. We overpaid for parking - so inconvenient to say the least.

The location was good and a short walk to the Great American Ball Park. The parking garage across the street was so convenient and cheaper than the valet at hotel. Breakfast was okay but a very nice comfortable seating area. The people working at the desk were very nice and made us feel welcome. We were happy we got our rooms on time. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn downtown. Our reservations were not what we were promised but the hotel made good on our price. The breakfast was nothing special but okay. The room was very clean. I would like to have a clock in the room and some bulbs were burned out. Overall we were pleased with our rooms and stay.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was exceptional and very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

I've visited this location twice in the past few months and it's a great place to stay. It's very centrally located, walkable to the stadiums in downtown and to many sites/restaurants, including a Graeter's Ice Cream at Fountain Square! The staff has been lovely each time I have stayed. The rooms were clean and breakfast was great each day. I loved the addition of overnight oatmeal! The room in which breakfast is served is significantly larger than many other Hampton Inns at which I've stayed. Valet is offered at $42 per night which is steep. However, the use of texts for requesting your vehicle was fantastic. Our car was ready every time we made it down the elevator to head out. I will be visiting Cincy more in the next year, and know where I will be staying each time!

My only complaint was the charge for parking overnight. This was our first time visiting Cincinnati and I truly didn't know that was how it worked. I just think $51 dollars is a bit much to park but there could have been cheaper parking garages but again where we weren't familiar and this was a new place to us we picked the closest one we could find to the hotel.

Not sure what your policy is on cleaning rooms, but no one serviced our room during our two-day stay. Also, the valet service is inefficient.

Was not told how the elevator worked, how to figure it out after riding it up and down. Then everyone said they had to do that, we meet on the elevator.

So we checked in for 2 nights we went to our room . This room was not cleaned! Bushel of hair was on the bathroom floor, that I cleaned up, and the long table had sticky stuff on it. There was one roll of Toilet paper almost empty and it took almost an act of congress to get more…we requested room service this Morning, I told the front desk about the room no being clean and and that we needed more towers.. Also told them about the water is not draining in the tub.. We left and came back around 3:00 PM No one was in the room, dirty and wet towels where and are still in the room.. Not a good experience!!!

The property was lovely it definitely gave a lot of roaring 20s vibes!

The staff were completely unorganized! We had to wait for a hotel room an hour and a half past our check-in time. They were nice enough to upgrade us to a nicer room but it was very dirty and dusty. The toilet was clogged and the hot water didn’t get very hot. Lastly., the pillows on our bed were very flat!

The hotel is very close to the Aronoff, and the building is lovely. The elevator was super fast. There was plenty of hot water for a shower. I loved that you served chia pudding and overnight oats along with the hot breakfast items, which were also very good.

I was hoping there would be a little fridge in the room. It would be helpful if there was some sort of parking available other than expensive valet service.

The location of the tv in the room was not good as it wouldn’t turn enough for where to bed was or the couch! Also did not like having to pay 30$+ a night for the parking but anytime you left the parking garage the tie would stop and then restart when entering so 30$ turned more into 50-60$

Beautiful old hotel with modern amenities. Great location too - close to everything.

Our room was not vacuumed, the mirrors & had hand prints & cloudy places. The room smelled terrible, like body odor, and dirt. It just gave the vibe of a quick clean job to get to the next room, which is not comforting.

The staff was not very polite, it seemed much like we were an inconvenience to even be checking in, the property was not extremely clean. In addition, you could on operate the elevator by key cards, which is fine, but the system didn’t work great. My key card would turn the reader inside green, then wouldn’t work. My key would open my room door, so it wasn’t an issue with the card. It just took multiple tries to get the elevators going

Tried to contact the hotel multiple times and was told the manager was in a meeting or unavailable every time and assured I'd get a call back but I ended up paying for two nights and didnt stay because the hotel refused to contact me.

The breakfast was a standard continental breakfast. I guess it was decent for what it was, but it wasn’t a great breakfast.

The room wasn’t ready to check in. We were gone all day. Nobody cleaned our room lights in the room didn’t work. Staff was rude. Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work.

The room was fine and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was sufficient, but maybe not add so many spices and peppers to the fried potatoes. Many people have problems with those. We enjoyed the non-lumpy oatmeal. Maybe offer more fruit options and not just apples. We had mixed experiences with the valets. The evening one was very helpful and friendly. The morning one, not so much. I had to actually ask him for help in holding the door while I struggled with my luggage. He just stood there. The picture of the entrance leads you to believe that this will be an elegant old time hotel, but nope, a bare entranceway and 2nd floor for check-in is under construction. Would not stay again because of the cost of parking.

Curtains had spots of stuff on them. No blackout curtains on south side of room. A bit noisy. Parking was expensive. Parking garages near by are hard to navigate and elevators broken.

Room was amazing, hotel staff were the nicest and very helpful, location could not be beat, valet staff were incredibly nice and fast, and breakfast was wonderful!
