Breakfast was just bacon and eggs and my colleague does not eat eggs so she had to eat bread with tomato and bacon ,they should add varieties and it was same breakfast every day.

No room service if i need room service it's R50 a day that's not acceptable , they only give tissue and coffees once , please do better .

Location was good, 8 minutes from Irene Village

when we arrived, they opened the gate but the door at reception was locked. we had to ring the bell a few times before someone assist us. we had to walk twice to unload our bags, no trolleys available and the room was far from the car the room was ice cold, and the aircon took forever to heat it up

Location is good and safe, breakfast is like a 5-star hotel, owners are awesome, will use them again with a smile.

I book my place through Booking .com on a different device which I did not took with, after my events I could not remember the exact destination, I couldn't found anything on my cell phone either , please place all info on what Cell nr I provided on the application The premises outline borders/fences need some attention Unit 18 onwards

Both showers were not draining the water sufficiently and caused overflowing of the floors, was very uncomfortable.

Excellent accomodation for friends or families. We felt safe and could easily travel to destinations.

The garden is really nice. Lots of trees, birds & shade. Andante Lodge is a nice place to get back to after a long day at work. The check-in & gate access system is easy & efficient.

The property is in what looks like a very safe neighborhood. The facilities are very nice and value for money is phenominal. It feels like a Marriott residence in because I even had a fully stocked kitchen in my room. What makes this property stand out is the owner Elmo and his wife. They are just wonderful and managed to take care of us. Even when there was a major electricity outage in the city, the owner managed to get power going and managed to personally inform each one of the residents personally updating us with progress. Just perfect management and the garden is beautiful. Also due to proximity to the natural reserve you can hear many birds. They also come to the garden.

For the money I think it’s perfect

The owners especially the wife is a racist. She 1st is disrespectful on the phone. A racist bunch of hosts.

After payments were made via eft they continue to lock the gate for my husband who is still stuck in their property and they locked themselves inside. Racist who want us to make multiple payments just because we are black. Calling the cops on them.

I didn't like that we were not informed of the cut off time for breakfast and we had to find out when we wanted to order breakfast.

We stayed as a couple at Andante Boutique Lodge for five nights, so had sufficient time to form a balanced view. First impressions are positive: the décor is tasteful and the fittings are attractive. Unfortunately, closer experience reveals a pattern of careless upkeep that detracts significantly from the stay. During our visit, the wall clock in our room did not work, the toilet seat was loose, and the bedside lamp had a flickering LED bulb, making it unsuitable for reading. Our room was a converted garage, with all windows and the door at one end. As a result, both natural light and ventilation were poor. The room also adjoins others on both sides, so noise and movement from neighbouring rooms were noticeable. Compounding this, there were extensive building works taking place throughout our stay, with builders and cement work visible around the property. This was not mentioned at booking, nor was any apology, discount, or concession offered. Overall, while the lodge presents itself well in marketing, the reality falls short, particularly given the price. Based on our experience, it represents poor value for money. I would encourage prospective guests to read a range of reviews, including the less favourable ones, before booking.

Builders busy in our front door making a noise...grinders dust and jackhammer. Workers glaring constantly and smoking dagga. Please phone me for photo's. Internet not working Toilet leaking Building rubble in walkways. I would like Bookings .com to phone me about this.

Krásné tiché místo a velmi přívětiví zaměstnanci, snídaně výborná a pan majitel velmi příjemný člověk. Doporučuji všem, kteří chtějí bydlet blízko města a použít Andante jako základnu ke zkoumání Pretorie a okolí.

We stayed in the family unit. In terms of beds, it accommodates 6 (a double bed and 2 bunk beds) but in terms of seating space, there was nothing. A little 2 seater sofa and a few bar stools inside and a concrete bench outside. The other smaller units all had round tables with four chairs outside which looked nice. The pool, which was the key reason we chose this property because it looked amazibg on the photos, unfortunately is completely in the shade and was freezing cold so the kids only had one quick swim.. The biggest disappintments were the kids' bunk beds. They had old matresses that had no integrity left and dipped in the middle. I sent the owners a,long email to inform them of this and the issues with a leaking aircon and small issues in the kitchen, etc because I was was sure they would want to know (I had had a nice chat with the owner after a roof leak in our unit), but they didnt even bother to respond.

the door to our unit's handle was broken so we could not lock it during our stay. The curtain at that door also did not close properly as the end was not hooked in the rail. we did not have warm water when we took a shower which was unpleasant. We also could not get the TV to work.

TV was not working, they promised 2 double beds only to find that is 1 double bed and 1 single bed, the door is hard to open,the outside chairs were dirty

Large, comfortable room with calming white interior.

Pillows were really old and did not provide good support. I ended up with a stiff neck. The towels are sub standard. Soft, high quality ones are really needed.

You will have to replace the mattress and the cushions, really worn out! The blinds are very thin and allows alot of light through (see attached photo)! This definitely robbed me from a good nights sleep!

Beautiful pool and braai area. The garden was great too. The rooms were spacious and we had a wonderful little kitchen with everything we needed.

The bathroom didn't have a door, causing us to not have privacy when we used it. Housekeeping wasn't available during our stay, making it difficult for us to keep the bathroom (including the shower) clean. Maybe management can consider providing mops and other tools for guests to use to keep the shower and bathroom clean themselves during their stay when housekeeping isn't available.
